Quentin is absolutely amazing! His other Google reviews are, no doubt, 100% accurate! (Which was part of the reason I chose him) He listened to me & drew up exactly what I wanted. I’m soooo happy with It! From drawing it up to wrapping it up took about an hour & was as painless as you could expect a tattoo to be.He shared with me that he mostly does big jobs, a lot of cover ups. The pictures he showed me were incredible! Full of color, detail, creativity, & left the originals completely unseen! He’s friendly, full of character, polite, gentle, & just the kind of person you’d want to be friends with. He’s my forever tattoo artist! 🙌👑 It would be impossible to recommend him any more than I do! He stays quite booked up, so schedule ASAP!!!!

This is my most recent work from James. It’s so gorgeous! I’m so excited to look at this every day. He did great designing this with the ideas I had. I have also had other work in previous visits from cover ups and reworks from Casper couple yrs ago and they still look amazing! And more recently got some piercings from Quentin. Tattoo by James tonight first time I’ve had work by him he added some to a existing tattoo and fixed one that got the ink pulled out due to a accident this man does great work I’ll be back for him to do another one in around two weeks I just hope my better half likes it as much as I do and she liked the cross that was done for her

My first time going to Real Ink Slidell. I wanted a memorial tattoo of my recent late father’s handwriting that he wrote in my birthday card that I unfortunately received after his passing.James took his time to make sure it matched my father’s exact handwriting and had the exact placement I wanted it!I highly recommend him for his talent and the way he took his time and was attentive to every detail!I can’t thank him enough for giving me this emotional piece.

Thad did a couple tattoos for me and my wife the other day and was great. Very personable and his work was good. Thanks for the Tatts. One of the tattoos took less time than expected so he cut the price some so we paid him the original price as a tip. Should we ever need another we will be sure to come back.

Called the shop at 7:44 to make sure I would make it on time to get my bday piercing before they closed at 8pm. Advised the monotone receptionist that the gps says I’ll be there at 7:53 she put me on hold to come back and say “no, we’re closing for the day.” I go on to ask if they don’t honor their business hours? A guy grabs the phone from her and pretty much mirrors what she says. Customer service isn’t their specialty. Which is very important to me. Just as important as skill. I never write reviews but it’s my birthday and I really wanted my piercing. I don’t recommend this place just based off the phone experience alone. Looks like I’ll be driving to New Orleans where the tattoo shops are open all night.

Been seeing James for years now he is the only tattoo artist I trust. He covered up a huge illegible tattoo (bible verse) on my ribcage and turned it into an absolute masterpiece, that I always get compliments on. Im a lifetime customer. I’ve been going to Real Ink for over a year now and highly recommend this shop! All of the guys in the shop are talented, put out consistent and exceptional work, and create a laid back and friendly atmosphere. Quinten did my vertical tragus piercing, Casper did the dagger behind my ear, Aries symbol on my middle finger, started my Norse mythology sleeve starting with Freya on my upper arm and Odin on my lower arm, and Travezz did matching tattoos for my best friend and I: sun and moon on each thumb, a beautifully detailed piece on my thigh I got for my dad, a snake on the back of my arm and, a Michael Myers knife on my ankle. I’m so glad I found this shop and look forward to doing more business with them!

I have been to Real Ink a couple of times and I cannot recommend them enough. Travezz has done two of my tattoos, and they are by far my favorites. He does unreal color tattoos and sharp line work. Every time someone asks me about my tattoos I send them his way. Everyone there is really laid back and down to earth, and it is one of the cleanest shops I’ve been to. I’ll be back very soon for more art!

If I could give this more stars I would! My whole family showed up wanting tattoos and Casper went completely out of his way to not only accommodate all of us, but he also was the most personable, professional fun artist I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Casper listened to all of our individual needs, went above and beyond for us the whole 9 and a half hours we spent together. We had 2 first timers in our group and he did everything to make sure they stayed comfortable! I honestly can not say enough about Casper as an artist and a person! He is so creative while staying in the bounds of what we wanted. The shop itself was emasculate! Even the restroom is super clean! I am so happy we chose this place and that Casper agreed to work with all of us the way he did. Thank you Casper for holding it down with us! We are all extremely happy!!

Two new additions to my collection, these pieces were done by Casper. After hours on end for consecutive sessions, it was undoubtedly an enjoyable experience. Casper consistently demonstrated the ability to pay attention to details, exhibiting a large amount of patience, and most importantly, displaying the passion for his craft. Not satisfied until the smallest of details are skillfully drawn to make the final product become a visually captivative work of art.

I went in requesting a cover up. I had an idea what I wanted and Casper’s execution was on point! My husband and I have used Casper in the past and plan to continue to use him in the future.The staff are extremely friendly. You can tell they are like family! I got a tattoo done by Travez last October and had a great experience! I did have to wait a while to get my design drawn up despite having made the appointment a month in advance, but overall it was a quick, clean process. Travez is incredibly talented, and everyone in the shop is very nice and welcoming. Ill definitely be back soon!

Between me, my husband, and my niece we had a total of 7 tattoos done here. Casper is amazing. But so is everyone else! The atmosphere is relaxed and cleaned. Even the bathroom has a tranquil theme. They take pride in their work and it shows. We moved and travel over an hour to come here now.

I had James as my artist and he really knows his stuff. I came in with a tat I needed re-worked and he nailed it. He knew within seconds what needed to be done to make it better and took care of it while being professional. Shop is well maintained, everything is clean and a sterile environment, prices are fair, and company is great. Highly recommend.

I went in to get a tattoo by Travezz, and it’s my new obsession! Made it super quick and comfortable, and all the guys back there are jokesters which made the process even more comfortable! Then, i got some cartilages by Quentin, even though it wasn’t my first piercing, made me super comfortable and relaxed making jokes the whole time. Was done in 5 minutes!! Everyone cleans their products and tools in front of you.

James is awesome! On a girls weekend, three of us decided to get matching tattoos (and we are usually real picky about our artists), on a whim and on a Sunday. I googled and saw Real Ink’s awesome reviews and they were open, so we went. We were fortunate enough to get James to do our “Nobody’s Clown” tattoos and absolutely love them. We knew they would be cool, but his details brought our guy to life. 12/10 recommend!

Casper did an amazing job on my son & my tattoos. He took the picture we came in with, listened to what we wanted changed, made said changes & expanded on it. Its now my favorite tattoo that I have! Went in on their Friday the 13th special to get cyber bites for my Girlfriend! Both piercings together only came up to about $40 after we tipped! Davey was the one to take care of us, and he did a great Job! Just about fully healed and ready for new jewelry in about 3 weeks time!

Awesome place for tattoos! Travezz has been my go to artist and he kills it every time! Great line work, good shading, makes sure you’re always comfortable, and even had the patience with me when I wanted to change the placement of my tattoo 4 times haha. He also made the time to do a few last minute tattoos for me. I highly highly recommend him as an artist! The place overall has a very chill vibe and makes you feel very welcomed.

Loved the design of the place, and definitely clean. Ive always been nervous with piercings and I was terrified for my nose but the guy doing it made me feel more comfortable and joked with my parents and I along the way, definitely worth the drive. Ill be going there for my next piercing soon

I contacted Casper based on the excellent reviews on google. He made a cover up tattoo design for me that was exactly what I wanted. I drove 3 hrs there and 3 hrs back just to go to this place. I sat through a 6 hr tattoo. I could not have asked for better from him. He didnt take breaks, he did his best to make me as comfortable as possible. Not to mention the tattoo is amazing. Everyone else there was friendly, the place was super clean, and it had a pretty private area for anyone getting a tattoo so you where not mixed in with anyone that came in the shop. If you go here you wont regret it!

I may be biased but this shop is the best out there! The family atmosphere and genuine, down to earth attitudes from all the guys there is really like no other! Casper puts so much heart into his tattoos and it truly shows. And Zero helps keep it all together!

Casper has been my tattoo artist for years now, he has fixed a messed up tattoo that I got done from home (bad idea never again) and he did GREAT on fixing that! Today I got my first big tattoo and it meant ALOT to me, he worked with me to make sure it was original because the initial tattoo came from a Google image and he did absolutely AMAZING!! Real Ink is the best place to go for tattoos and piercings in and around Slidell! Hands down! I have a leg sleeve almost complete by Quentin Stevenson and its a masterpiece. I absolutely love it! I went in today to look at prices for a tattoo I wanted and see if I was possible to get it done as well. Travezz was my tattoo artist, he is amazing! I gave him something my sister designed for me, I need one small detail added. He added that detail in for me and also made the tattoo come to life. I got my first tattoo done here by Travezz, from start to finish he was personable and professional. The linework all looks amazing and even fully healed my tattoo is beautifuly vibrant and detailed. As someone with a family that loves tattoos I was pleased to see the standards he kept with hygiene and monitoring any and all possible contamination. He definitely knows how to keep a good conversation flowing and made my first experience incredibly relaxed. I had a piercing done by another shop that I could not remove. I’ve even had friends try and it was impossible. I walked in to the shop and was immediately helped. They quickly removed the piercing and didn’t charge me anything. Super nice staff! I’ll definitely be back for my next piercing!

Went to get a piercing for Friday the 13th deals. I waited for almost four hours which was to be expected, but i didnt really much mind. The atmosphere is pretty comfortable as well as friendly employees. I went to Quentin because of how many great reviews he has for piercings. Ive never had facial piercings before so I was nervous, but he talked to me, explained what he was going to do and he was gentle. Definitely recommend Quentin and will be returning to him.

I’ve gotten multiple piercings from Real Ink & have been more than satisfied with all of them. Preformed by both Quentin & his apprentice, Zero. They’re both super professional, sweet, & make you feel comfortable as possible cracking jokes the whole time. Z has become my go to piercer for sure, he does great work!. Shop is clean & overall the atmosphere of the shop is immaculate.

Has a clean organized work space and explains everything he does to you and gives you his honest opinion before doing anything! so patient and loves what he does. if you’re not sure about the piece you want he will personalize it for you with more detail until you are completely happy with the work. if you want a tattoo or piercing go to them!!!!! and if you’re nervous or scared he will hold a conversation with you to distract you from what’s even happening!!!!

The nose piercing Quentin did for me was quick and easy. The fact that it was virtually painless, if nothing else, told me that he knew what he was doing. Everything was nice and clean. From following their social media over the last few years it is apparent to me that the other staff are also all very talented artists and piercers with expansive portfolios that prove so, shoutout to Davey D. They are also friendly and responsive to questions. Will be returning for any future needs.

Real Ink is honestly the only tattoo shop I go to. Its a very comfortable setting, & everyone there is really cool, & does great work. Ive gotten piercings done by Quentin, a few tattoos from Travezz, & all of my bigger pieces done by Casper. I make another appointment before I walk out almost every time Im there, I highly recommend to everyone who asks me where I go.

I have gone to this tattoo shop for 4 tattoos and 5 peircings and my experience has always been spot on. All the dudes are cool and very respectful. Travezz did 2 of my most precious tattoos for me. He worked with me to create my unalome that I had invisioned for quite a while. He was able to take pictures I sent and pieced it together for me perfectly. His artistry is amazing and his hand is light, line work is so amazing, he pays close attention to detail, quick and efficient so i will definitely be back t see him for all of my future tattoos!!!

I really enjoy this tattoo shop, and all of the artists there. I personally have a half sleeve from Casper and plan on having him do my other sleeve. His skills are amazing and I enjoy all of the work he’s done on me. He’s also in the process of redoing an older tattoo on my shoulder. Although all of the tattoo artists there are great at what they do I personally recommend Casper!

Quentin worked on me tonight and he did amazing. It was my first tattoo on a relatively tricky spot. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. It turned out amazing and I can’t wait to come back.

I went to Real Ink Tattoos & Piercings for my birthday. I almost backed out because I was so nervous about the nose piercing but after Quentin (who is an absolute doll! I adored him) reassured me that it wouldnt be bad and he helped me relax. The shop was clean and relaxing. I had my piercing done by Davey and I have a slight anxiety problem, but Davey was an angel. He was so gentle and amazingly nice, before I knew it, it was done. Afterwards, Quentin gave me a proper wrist tattoo and I am extremely pleased. He was quick and very detailed. And really funny, I might add. Im from Mississippi and Id gladly drive those few hours for another piercing/tattoo. I plan to return. Great atmosphere and affordable! Thanks guys!

A real great vibe there, everyone is chill and makes sure you’re good. Quentin is really delicate with his work, he takes his time to make sure it’s exactly what you want. He’s tattooed me and pierced my ear (industrial) 100% recommend him and plan to go to him for my next tattoos and piercings!

Davey D was great! My daughter got her 1st tattoo and he was very patient and professional and explained the process to her. She is only 16 and she was nervous but he made he feel comfortable. She LOVES her tattoo and now wants another one! And we loved the music that was playing!!

My husband and I both have tattoos from many different shops in many different states. He decided to try Real Ink yesterday so we made the hour drive and I’m happy we did. I’ve gone to real ink for all of my tattoos so far, and they never disappoint! My latest one was done by Travis, and he really took his time to give me exactly what i wanted. He was super light-handed, clean, and he was really good at working with me when it came to scheduling the appointment (which i did kinda last minute) and listening to what i want. If you want another tattoo i suggest trying him out!

This was the best experience getting a tattoo I’ve had with any of my tattoos! Thad did an amazing job redoing an old tattoo that had faded beyond recognition. He made the cherry blossom finally come to life on my foot, and made them more realistic than I ever thought could be possible. I have enjoyed every time I have gone here. They do good work. I had a small bit of comunication issues, but over all the end results with my tattoos have been great!

I’ve never gone here and went recently to get my nipples pierced. It was easy to tell them what I wanted done and pay for it. They’re doing good by taking in one person at a time to minimize the threat of getting sick. I forgot who pierced me but he was calm, and very reassuring. I haven’t had any problems with my piercings and they’re still very clean. Can’t wait to go again!!

The shop is very clean and organized with lots of inventory available for purchase. Everyone we met there was polite and knowledgeable about the craft. Davey did a wonderful job with my nose piercing in December, so when my best friend decided to get a Daith piercing, I took her there. I will definitely be returning in the near future and highly recommend this shop to everyone.

Thad did incredible work as a gift to my fiancee on our 2nd anniversary!! We were lucky enough to walk in and get a tattoo. I have gotten my industrial and tragus done here by Q awhile back. He made sure I was comfortable and did it quick and I havent had problems. My mom also went and got her daith done and she has no issues with it and we both love the environment and service. Now I am wanting to come for more really soon.
