No Kings Tattoo

For my first tattoo I searched far and wide to find the best person to bring my vision to life. This tattoo has to much meaning to it and it was important to me to find the best place. I traveled from Texas to Slidell just for this. Randy at No Kings, went above and beyond. I gave him a basic idea of what I wanted and he exceeded my expectations. Randy, you did it. I will be back and you have my business for life. Thank you so much for making me feel comfortable and giving me the most beautiful tattoo. I can’t begin to put into words what this means to me. Thank You!

I Walked in hoping to get a last minute spur of the moment cover up before I left town after coming home to visit family And they fit me in and even stayed late to help get my matching wedding tattoo covered and gone. Everyone in the shop was very professional and super helpful. I came in with an idea to cover it and open to suggestions. And I got to leave with an awesome cover up purple rose and snake. Thank you so much!

My hubs and I saw Steve Morales to get tattoos and this guy, he’s amazing! Super professional and patient with all my questions. The studio is immaculate. Both of our tattoos came out perfect, better than expected. We def recommend him! And we’ll def be going back to him. Thanks Steve!

I’ve gone twice saw caleb and randy. both did amazing. i was super nervous for both of them but everyone there is very welcoming and the atmosphere in the shop is very calm and comforting. everyone does a great job explaining everything and making you feel comfortable. also the artists do amazing each time. can’t wait to go back for #3!!!!

Amazingggg! I definitely will be coming back for any future pieces, they did exactly what I asked with the stencil and it looks great! No redness yet and it covers up the stick and poke from when I was 15. Can’t express how happy I am with it and can’t wait for another piece.

My family and I came as walk ins last minute to get a very special tattoo and Randy went above and beyond by letting us come in and by taking such good care of us while we were there! This was my very first tattoo so I was extremely nervous, but he made us all feel so comfortable and it was a wonderful experience! Everything was so clean and professional, I 100% recommend for anyone looking for any type of tattoo work!

Best place to go for first tattoos or just tattoos in general! Quick and easy service and they walk you through everything! They are so friendly there.

I be been coming to No Kings for years and have had extensive work done by Caleb, both sleeves and other assorted tatts done. The artist is very knowledgeable about his craft. Everyone has been courteous and very professional. The shop is the cleanest I’ve ever been in. Every time I’m in Slidell it’s my place to go. I can’t see how anyone that gets work here can give them anything but a 5 star.

Best tattoo shop in the dell I have been going here since 2015. Caleb and Trent are phenomenal. However, friends of mine have gone to every artist here with 0 complaints and phenomenal work. Worth every dollar if you want quality tattoos 🫡 I legit had to stand up and salute them. Keep on keeping on homies

Me and my sister got matching tattoos. I dont know the guys name that did them but they came out beautiful. These arent our first tattoos from no kings and wont be the last either. Everyone there is super professional and highly skilled tattoo artists.

Seems to have some really talented artists, but I can’t give them a decent review due to the standoff and possibly rude attitude. I went here, initially, to have a redo of a tattoo from another shop. A friend from work has all of hers done though No Kings and they’re great; really small, but detailed and intricate. In my first interaction, I just got kinda a dismissive attitude. I asked the artist what his opinion was, and he said something like “Honestly man, I don’t care.” I said “ok, I understand that, but you’re an experienced artist. That’s why I’m asking your opinion.” He fixed the tattoo and it looked good, but maybe just missing a bit more definition and detail. They said they had a touch up policy that would allow me to come back and get it done. My email to the artist was never responded to, so, after several more months, I decided to stop by. The artist who worked on me was in the back and, when I walked in, he just sort of stared at me. I said “hey, how are you doing?” and I don’t even think he answered me. After I talked to the guy working the front desk, the artist had me come back towards him. He said that any type of touch up or adding of definition was not at all possible. I turned to the front desk worker and said “ok, cool. Do you have someone else here who can work on it? The artist then said that no one could do the impossible. Strange. I may not know tattoo art that well, but I would assume that you can always touch up lines and details a little. All of this in addition to him having been rude to my sister, who has a ton of experience with tattoo artists, on another occasion. I would have been happy to pay for the touch up too. Too bad. It would be nice if the talent was aligned with a better attitude.

Ert DiRosa, been “following” his Instagram for quite a while, as well as No Kings Instagram. Finally made it in and was so pleased through and through. Stayed late, on short notice. He was booked months out! To be expected with this quality of work! We came all the way from Seattle, WA. He told my wife and I he would get us in before our flight back.Shop was clean. Great people the gentleman at the desk was friendly and the artist directly by behind the desk greeted me friendly. I pan on getting some work done there because they have tons of choices.A bunch of different cultures and great artwork.

The artists here are great. Theyre friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. Everything was clean and the shop is bright. My favorite part of the whole experience was that my artist Trenton, didnt make me feel bad about getting lightheaded. He just offered me some water and a mint or a piece of candy. Told me to take me time and explained that it was due to the shock to my system. I really appreciated the way he handled it. I will definitely be going back for more tattoos.

Came here for matching tattoos with my mom and couldnt be more satisfied. The shop is clean as hell...I could find even a spec of dust! The artists were all super nice and welcoming! Trenton did an amazing job! Friendly, light handed, and very informative. Will definitely return for any future tattoos.

No kings has been my only spot for getting tattooed for about 4 years. The artists there are very accommodating and really care about placement and want what’s best for the client. It’s a clean shop and I love the atmosphere. Trenton is a great choice for traditional style tattoos and if you want him to add a twist he will deliver! No Kings Tattoo should be your next and favorite place to get tattooed!

Aside from the fact that Randy did an incredible job on my tattoo, he was also a stand up guy. My tattoo was for my grandfather, and Randy talked to me about his own family and the loss of his own grandfather. There was a real nice personal touch to the way he did business. And I’m sure the rest of his staff operates in a similar fashion. I will be going to No King’s for all of my future tattoo work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I am so glad that they turned me away at 930. I went to daylight moon tattoo and got a great tattoo at half the quoted price from no Kings and took half of the quoted time. Its definitely worth the ride to Mississippi

No Kings is such an amazing shop filled with an amazing choice of artist. Each artist treats me well and knocks every tattoo out the park. The owner has invested so much in their “home” for a greater experience for everyone. From the tattoo portfolios, to the hand painted art on the wall to chose from, it’s the place to walk into.

Best tattoo shop in Slidell. If you want something you are proud to show off, along with great customer service and an experienced artist, go to No Kings. Price might be higher than the shop down the street, but the professionalism and talent is unmatched. You truly get what you pay for.

I gave the place 4 stars because it is clean and the artwork being done is amazing. However, my experience with ONE tattooist was not very satisfying. Im not happy. He was unwilling to listen or unhappy that he had to do the tat. The artist would get 1 star. ⭐

No Kings Tattoo is my favorite in the New Orleans area. Ive gotten 4 tattoos there, and they are all fantastic work - clean lines, great color, great design. They take a lot of pride in their work. All of the artists give each other feedback on their work and collectively geek out on new and creative designs. They are super friendly too and there is usually some good music playing. I wish they would add some indy hiphop to the mix but I think thats against tattoo law. The interior is really nice too, with some dope wood benches and tons of great art and some classic flash to boot. Lots of love for the craft from old school to new.

Honestly the best peircing experience Ive ever had. The piercer explained everything every step of the way, and was overall really nice. I absolutely love the peircing. I will deffinatly be going back.
