I was greeted by Stephanie at the front desk and asked her about numbing cream. She was kind and welcoming and assured me that my nurse Adriana was the best because she was so quick. My tattoo to be removed is small and on my finger. I was brought right in after only a two minute wait and Adriana went over quickly how the process was going to Go and was very, very thorough with each of her descriptions, and the removal process was so quick ! I love the fact that she didn’t talk much during the process and she was quick to the point! 10 out of 10 wish I could request her for every appointment!!!

Melissa is a star. Deserves a huge raise! I had an issue I needed resolved and she went above and beyond. This kind of customer service is hard to find! Its so refreshing to deal with a professional that is solutions oriented and knows how to retain customers. I appreciate you Melissa, thank you again. I dont like the feeling of writing a bad review but I spent way too much money and this was way too much of a scam to go without complaining. I spent around $2,000-$3,000 (still paying this off) and hours of my life driving to and from appointments for bikini and under arm laser treatments to see no results.I had brought this up to my nurses and the front desk girls (early on and more than one time throughout the past year) and their only response was that hormones were to blame and that I will need to buy touch up appointments and that everyone always needs to. Every patient having to purchase hundreds of dollars more in touch up packages is a huge flaw. I am not purchasing those because of course I am not going to see different results if I havent already.I cant speak to other treatments at Laser Away but I would recommend that if you are interested in hair removal here to just go somewhere else. Theyre very obsessed with selling whatever they can which I get and I dont feel bad to ignore those comments or tell them Im not interested. But when the one treatment I am getting is not even working and costing thousands of dollars its really insufferable to hear the constant sales pitches when Im heading out the door.

Im disappointed with the tattoo removal services at this clinic. Despite having three sessions, Ive seen zero changes in my black tattoo, which is supposed to be the easiest ink to remove. I purchased a 10-session package, which was a significant investment, but it seems like a waste of money.I regret not choosing another clinic in Burlington that offers tattoo removal at the same price, but with a guarantee to remove the tattoo completely, not just a fixed number of sessions. When I signed here I thought they have the same deal. Later I realized that it’s only 10 sessions. Be wary of the package deal here, as its not as comprehensive as it seems. After my first session, I was told Id need to purchase additional sessions, which was not clear when I signed up.Dont make the same mistake I did. Do your research and look for a clinic that offers a guarantee to remove your tattoo completely, not just a fixed number of sessions. 10 sessions is not enough, and you may end up wasting your money like I did.However, I want to acknowledge that the nurses here are truly nice and caring. They genuinely try to reduce the pain and make the experience as comfortable as possible.

Excellent experience at the Somerville Laser Away. Have been visiting this location over a year. Communication is great and all the staff I’ve encountered have been friendly, efficient and informative. I’ve had Adrianna as a nurse for multiple sessions and she’s a pro, great to work with! Moika at the front desk was helpful getting me set up for my next appointment. The location is convenient, parking always available. Recommend!

Each laser hair removal session is super quick and I’m always surprised that is not painful but it really works. The nurses are so very caring and answer all my questions. Overall, a great experience!!

Christina and Kendra are amazing nurses!! Theyre both so friendly and make the daunting experience of laser hair removal much less scary! As someone who was very hesitant around laser hair removal in the beginning, LaserAway made this whole journey very welcoming and seamless. Stephanie at LaserAway in Somerville goes above and beyond to make sure youre well taken care of and all your questions are answered. Melissa is great as well, she has always been super helpful - and especially when figuring out payment plan options (which is an added bonus to anyone interested!). The women who Ive seen for my personal care have all been very kind, efficient, and careful as well.All in all, LaserAway Somerville is super welcoming, friendly, convenient, safe, and clean and I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Always such a great experience. The nurses are always so thorough and the front desk staff is super friendly and helpful. I started my laser hair removal about a year about and everyone at the LA Somerville makes you feel right at home and super comfortable with the entire process. I have for sure raved about not only my experience at the Somerville location but the results of my treatments to friends and family.

I have been asking from 1 week regarding the discrepancies in my maintenance package . They said the manager will be calling me and even asked Melisa for email . I haven’t received any response yet . It’s my fault I haven’t verified the invoice . The services they said during the maintainence package are not included and now they are saying it not part of the package . The original package I took it from Atlanta location , they are very good in detailing . This location the response is not clear and super frustrating to the customer. There is no response from the support or any feedback. It’s been 3 months I originally posted this there is no response and people not responding to my emails the front desk staff does not respond properly to customer questions

Love the service here at LaserAway Somerville. I come see Adriana for my appointments and she’s super great! Professional, efficient, and very gentle. She’s great at making me feel comfortable and answering any questions I may have. Highly recommend laser hair removal here!

May 27: When I tried to get a pre-paid appointment booked back in February, they booked me for the ‘earliest’ option in late April. Days prior to the appointment, I got a call for cancellation. Tried to contact the store 3-4 times, got it booked again for late May. Today, again, a last-minute cancellation.The appointment management is a mess, and so is the customer service.May 30 update: LaserAway call center staff said The store will contact you on May 26. Given I didnt receive a call from them for 4 business days, I called them myself. The staff, Joana, who picked up the phone call first mentioned that they would not book me at the Somerville location till July (remember, it was first scheduled for Apr, then May, now July :) ). After I insisted that they should honor the service they sold, she came back with a June date. Throughout the conversation, she expressed zero acknowledgment of the inconvenience they brought and was pretty rude.After reviewing the past reviews, it appears that the scheduling for pre-paid treatment is a recurring issue.

Laser Away in Somerville, MA. is the Best decision I’ve made!! The staff is so amazing & so personable. I wish I did this sooner! The clinicians are great and explain everything before they start. The front desk representatives are so friendly I feel like I’ve known them. I would recommend this to friends & family!!D.M.

This was my first time getting a Laser Facial and it was amazing! From the front desk to my technician they were all so nice and welcoming. Answered all my questions,checked on me during my session to make sure I was comfortable. I cant wait to go back again!!!

Update:I have been getting laser here for the past year, and love the results. Took about 10 sessions for the hair the be completely gone. They have greatly improved on their scheduling, they hired more staff and honor appointments in a timely manner. A plus for their customer points program that score you free treatments for every $ you spend. Highly recommend this place.

Christina and Melissa are the sweetest most delightful people. This was my first session and they were really so sweet and kind. I cant wait to come back for my next sessions!

I am so impressed with my nurse Adriana and all the treatments I have received at the Somerville location. From thermage, to laser hair removal, to injections I have had a great experience with positive result. Highly recommend!

I typically wouldnt want to leave a bad review on a business, but I want to be sure no one wastes the amount of money I did here. I started to see great results at the beginning, so much so that I expanded my treatment areas spending over $5,000. Half way through, I told the nurses that I was worried because I started seeing hair growth again. They chalked it up to hormones at the time and only one nurse ever actually upped the lasers strength upon my request. I knew my hair was corse so I figured that may have been why it was taking longer so I even let them suck me into another ~$1000 maintenance package to try to stop the hair regrowth & now after over 12 or 14 treatments, I am getting hair regrowth like crazy. Extremely disappointed and an extreme waste of money. Dont fall for it.

Great experience here getting a Clear and Brilliant laser facial. I highly recommend this location on Canal Street near the Assembly Square Mall. Lots of parking. Melissa and Christina are wonderful.

JackieShe was incredibly efficient and kind. She made me feel extremely comfortable and engaged in great conversation. Every time I go for laser treatment I want her she amaze me with her skills. The girl at the front desk was also amazing and attentive, creating a beautiful vibe that day. I even arrived early and was seen promptly, which I loved.

I’ve waited months for the team to get back to me. Unfortunately, after paying over two thousand dollars on 6 + 2 “free” additional laser sessions on my underarms, I still have all the hair. The service was disappointing and overpriced. I don’t recommend going here, there are plenty of other laser locations that offer better prices for better service. I started going to a new laser location, since LaserAway ripped me off, and they’ve already taken measures to make sure I’m happy with the results (like taking before and after photos to keep track of a real difference). While the front desk staff was friendly, they said they’d follow up since no significant difference was made, and they never did. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I go to the Somerville location for Laser Hair removal, and so far so good. Im really here writing this review for the service Morgan offers. Shes wonderful.That being said, this is a wicked busy location. All the staff are super friendly and helpful, but you have to take charge of your laser aspiration. Ive had 4 or 5 treatments so far, and all I had to do was ask for a higher intensity on the machine, saying Im not noticing a difference, can it go higher.Scheduling is a little hard, I notice they like to book you 6-8 weeks and I feel my body needs 4-6 weeks, so I just advocate for myself and everyone really tries their best. It does get annoying how booked they are so you have to be persistent on the booking for yourself. Ive had the staff a few times call me about someone cancelling and if I was available which was nice.

The staff is always so helpful and friendly and gets you in and out quickly. They run a lot of sales so it’s easy to find good deals for laser treatment!

I had a very bad experience with them. My appointment was at 12, they kept me waiting for 45 minutes. Then they burned my arm with the laser hair removal. When I asked them for a refund they refused. Its been a week and the mark is still there. Not sure what to do about it, I don’t think the mark will go away it is becoming worse.

Great plans with wonderful people. They were very accommodating and helpful when I asked questions. The location is clean and there’s a confortable seating area.

They are almost never on time for my appointments. One time, I was put in a treatment room and waited an hour on the chair in my robe due to them running behind. No one came to check on me. Another time, I had an appointment and when I checked in, the woman told me that my appointment time was actually 15 minutes later. I told her it wasn’t and that I received confirmation texts saying it was at the current time. She responded that corporate shifts appointments around and doesn’t notify anyone??.. I’ve also received inconsistent info from different people who work there. I was experiencing a lot of pain with laser and a woman at the desk told me they could give me numbing cream for free next time. At my next appointment, I brought it up and the people at my desk said that numbing cream isn’t given for laser, that it would take 30 minutes of waiting after applying, and that it’s typically in a package to purchase. Also, I finished 8 laser sessions and I still have a decent amount of hair and had to purchase a set of more sessions. I know the hair removal differs person to person, but it’s disappointing after already experiencing poor service. I was considering getting laser on an additional body part but will look elsewhere.

Never once had an appointment start on time. Corporate changes appt times without them informing the front desk so I’ve shown up for appointments at the wrong time multiple times. Now that my packages are over I will not be returning. Definitely don’t come here if you’ve got other appointments afterwards. The only thing they have going for them is that the people who work here are pretty nice.

I went to LaserAway for tattoo removal and was beyond impressed by both the front desk staff and the nursing team. They made me feel both welcome and comfortable! The nurses did such a great job at understanding exactly what I wanted and provided me with great after care! I would definitely suggest them to friends and family!

I had never had any kind of laser procedure done, but a friend recommended one of their laser facials (Instant Glow) if I wanted to try something. I was a bit nervous at first, but the nurses instantly made me feel comfortable and constantly checked in to make sure everything felt okay throughout the entire procedure. It was an easy process for a first-time patient and I definitely am interested in returning for other laser procedures. Definitely recommended if youre new and want to try a different type of skin care.

Just had my 3rd session of laser hair removal for underarms and Brazilian. All of my nurses have been really great, always super professional. My nurse today (I think her name was Carly?) was the best so far. Definitely seems to take extra care to cover the full area and did a great job checking in. A+

My nurse Adelaida was my first Nurse an she was so amazing, very welcoming and made me feel comfortable the entire time of my laser treatment! My nurse Kelli was my second nurse an she was such a great vibe literally talked to me during my entire treatment an made me feel comfortable the entire time as well!! For my 3rd laser treatment my nurse Carly was so great she made sure temperature was good on my skin an she took her time which I absolutely loved and she was so kind too!!! I highly recommend coming to Laser Aways!!!

I love this location. The staff here is so helpful and Angie is ALWAYS so nice and helpful. The facility is clean and beautiful, I really would trust and recommend their technicians to anyone. I have very fair sensitive skin and they really were able to work with me. I also had some medical issues and needed a refund for a service I just health wise wasnt able to complete and they were so understanding. I am totally brand loyal to them and will send all my friends here, highly recommend the clear and brilliant but all their services are great.

The ladies at this location are amazing! I had a consult over zoom before coming in and everything was explained so clearly and I felt like they really listened to what I was looking for. Each nurse that I’ve worked with (laser hair removal) has been so sweet and made me feel so comfortable.Results are amazing so far!

While I prefer not to leave bad reviews, I knew I had to if it helps even one person from wasting the amount of money I did here.Unfortunately a lot of false promises made which is the real frustration. I had spoke up early about my laser hair removal that I was concerned with the progress I was making. On my 7th visit, the front desk told me that was my last (8th) appointment and pushed me to purchase a maintenance package on the spot (also ends up being way more expensive then the sales people make it out to be when they “hook” you. Be careful with these chains that don’t have transparent pricing and always try to get you with a current deal or promotion). Despite me pushing back that it didn’t make sense, she was set on it being my last appt. I ended up contacting corporate where they confirmed they “double booked” one of my appts so it looked like I completed them when I didn’t. While this could have been an honest mistake, I’m disappointed I was pushed to pay a ton more money without them doing the due diligence to check when I was questioning it.Fast forward to my last appt, I expressed concerns and they were so supportive about getting me where I paid to be, the front desk told me to contact them a few weeks out and if it still didn’t work, they would help me out and honor some promotions to make the additional package more accessible. When that time came around they said that wasn’t something they’re actually be able to do and laughed that the woman that said that no longer works there.Finally, I see a promotion and ask if I can use that and they say yes if you pay today. I pay the amount just to be called a bunch of times the next day to find out I’m not actually eligible for the promotion but it’s just an additional $150 I need to pay by today and then I’ll be all set.Just total chaos going on here, the lack of organization, sales tactics from the beginning, and continued false promises were too much. My hair has almost completely grown back since my last visit so I walked away with little to no results and thousands down the drain.The one positive I will say is all the techs were always friendly and nice…

I was a little nervous about getting preventative injections but I felt very comfortable once I walked in! Prior to my appointment I had a phone call and they explained everything and all of the options. Then once I went in for the treatment I was sat down one on one and had a talk with one of the women at the front desk about my goals and options for treatments and even payment options. Everything felt so personal and once I received the injections which were done amazingly I was very happy and comfortable. During the injections I was asked “how are you doing” etc… Definitely will be returning!

I had my first laser hair removal treatment this week at LaserAway in Assembly and it was a great experience! They eased my concerns beforehand explaining how shaving before coming is important because the laser traveling down the hair shaft is what would make the procedure hurt. I really felt close to nothing the entire time. Cant wait for my next treatment!

I set up a phone consult with this location and got a call from someone who asked me what I wanted after I had already filled out a form online, explaining what I wanted. After that, I was instructed to take photos of my face and text them to a certain phone number. The woman I had chatted on the phone with had been rapidly rambling on about directions that I had no way of memorizing on the spot. Then she was texting me the directions about how to take the photos from a different phone number. The text she sent me made no sense grammatically. Spelling errors too. I couldn’t tell which directions were for which photo they needed. It was clear this was not a pre-written standard set of instructions. This was very off putting to me and seemed very unprofessional so I just took this as a giant red flag and decided to end the consult. I was quite looking forward to learning more and asking questions but that was not an option before being asked to text unflattering photos to a random phone number (proving I was eligible). After I said no thanks I got 0 response. Overall, I felt this experience was quite bizarre and somewhat stressful. Maybe this would’ve been slightly better if I had been prepared for what the consult was going to cover or not cover.

I entered their Assembly Row location on a whim, knowing very little about them nor their services, and was greeted by three approachable (and not that this matters, but very pretty) staff members at the front desk. (Kayla, Ange, and Devon) I must have looked every bit the deer in the headlights that I was, because they instantly made me feel very welcome and comfortable enough to ask the questions I had, even offering me suggestions as to how to bring up the topic of hair removal with my partner…which, as one may guess, is a delicate conversation to have. I’ve read up on some other client experiences, and I’m very impressed. So, MEN: if you’ve been wondering about how to go about what I just did, I recommend this location highly. And the three staff afore mentioned, 10/10. I’ve worked in customer service most my life and it was honestly refreshing to have had the delightful, although brief interaction that I did there.

I got my lips done for the first time at laser away, and my nurse made me feel so comfortable. She walked me through the entire process and eased my anxiety! I was so happy with my results, and I can’t wait to go back again!

Awesome Nurses and front desk PCC. (Casey, Meliza) They have flexible hours and my treatments have given me more confidence. I recommend LaserAway to anyone who is curious about laser treatments.I never had laser but the nurses made the process easy and provide after care products as well.

I did my cheek fillers for the first time, they were super nice and professional, they offered me refreshers. I was bit nervous about the procedure but they were super well informed and assured me of the process. It didnt hurt at all and the results were amazing. 10/10 will go back!

I love this place! They are so accommodating any time I need to reschedule my appointment, they are very communicative and always double check every time I book and/or reschedule, and they are VERY attentive when I’m in my actual appointments. Very CLEAN and very professional. They go over pre and post appointment every time you come in to make sure nothing has changed and to make sure you’re comfortable. Adelaida is the person I’ve gone to most and she is sooooo calming and supportive she always says “you’re doing great” and “just breathe” lol and she always makes sure she marks the area and does a test spot to make sure my skin doesn’t have an adverse reaction. I would 1000% recommend this location.

I had lip filler a year ago with Asma and loved the results both times I went. This year I went again and am beyond disappointed. Asma is no longer there and I went to, who I trusted was, a well trained and qualified tech. When she showed me the mirror , I saw it was obvious only one the right upper lip was done. I pontes this out and she said” oh yeah, I see what you mean, but first let me put more in that side” . After she was done she made it a point to see don’t love it yet, it will look different once the swelling goes down but it didn’t look any better. I made it a point to ask for a new tech when I went back and was told the schedule was not out yet. I said ok , but please make a note I do not want her again I think she needs more training. The week of my appointment I called them to confirm and of course, it was with that tech. I asked to switch and picked another day that week. When I went for my apt. They told me the appointment was the following week even though I spoke with the manager and explained it had to be that week because I was going out of the country. The manager squeezed me in and was again , going to put me with the tech I did not want. She told me come back in an hour for someone else. The next tech said hardly any juvederm was used last time and I said well of course, look at my lips, they are half done. She did my injection and I am sorry to say I am left now to go on my dream vacation with lumpy bumpy un even lips. I tried to call to see if anything was left in my syringe to go back and left a message but noone ever called me back. Do not go here for fillers , they are salesman not specialists. And if Asma is reading this, I’d love to make an appointment wherever you are to fix this mess.

I am in process of laser hair removal on 3 areas at the moment, almost halfway through the treatments on all areas and so far so good I am noticing less and less hair and feel very good about what the end result will come to. I love the staff at Laseraway Somerville! They always make me feel welcomed and are very informative on services that I have inquired about. I have also received a lip injection service from them and I loved my experience especially as it was my first time! I’ll definitely be going back for more in the near future! Last but not least, I also received a clear + brilliant facial and absolutely loved the results even if it was only one time, I will be doing a series of 6 sometime in near future as well! If you are looking into any services they have to offer, I would absolutely reach out and go with your gut on getting it done! I’ve been very pleased with my decision on choosing them! I recently went in for Juvéderm treatment and I had an incredible overall experience. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the nurse who administered the treatment was very reassuring and professional. I was extremely nervous going in, but they provided me with a stress ball to squeeze and made sure I was very comfortable during my treatment. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Laser Away staff were very friendly, professional, nonjudgmental, and caring to my needs and concerns. They engendered a safe and comfortable experience with excellent sanitation protocols. I’ve been to MGH for these services in the past and I switched to laser away for the package deals they offer plus the technology they use. Highly recommend.

I have been thinking of getting Botox and lip filler for so long but never pulled the trigger. But since this location opened up and these services were available it was like the stars lined up. Everything was easy from being able to text them and confirming everything I wanted. The front desk girls are so nice and helped a lot. I wasn’t pressured into buying anything I didn’t need before or after. I had everything done by Asma she is very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. She explained what I would go through and what to expect after. During the Botox and lip filler she was very gentle and checked in on my comfort level. This was very good because I was very nervous about getting my lips done. After everything was finish and I took a look at myself I was shocked but in a good way! My lips look amazing. I couldn’t explain to her what I wanted because this is my first time but she made my vision of my lips come true. I will continue to see her for everything! She is amazing! This location offers many different services and they have great deals and sales which I took advantage of. If you are looking to get anything done do it! You will love it!

I went to LaserAway for the first time and everything about this facility is incredible! They staff is very kind and inviting, everyone from the front desk to nursing. They really want their patients to achieve their cosmetic goals and are supportive every step of the way. I will definitely be a lifelong customer.

Always the best experience at this location! All of the ladies and nurses are absolutely terrific. I had never had any services done before and I now find myself making my way down their list of services. They listen to exactly what you want and are excellent at providing just that!

Not recommending this place. My first visit, I was prepped by the receptionist. She put numbing cream all over my lips, and that wasn’t the area that was being treated. I was having juvederm, not lip filler. Since that was my first visit, I didn’t know what to expect.Anyhow, I ended up with hyperpigmentation which makes my treatment area look worse than before I had the treatment. After weeks of trying to get in contact with “regional manager” and being transferred and put on hold for upwards of 30 mins several times, I finally spoke with her. She wanted me to sign a consent for a prescription cream to use, which also causes hyperpigmentation. I was not comfortable with that option. They do not even give partial refund, so I’m worse off than before I went to them now. I definitely will not consider them in the future for ANY treatments.

I had a phone consultation and I have never had someone speak in such a condescending and degrading way. I called to inquire about their laser services given that I am not seeing the best results at the current place I go to. The woman on the phone started the call being extremely bubbly and when I described my issues with my current place she said that LaserAway would be able to help. She began to give me their sales pitch as I assumed she would but when I asked about pricing she would not directly answer the question before continuing on her rant. After explaining at length the laser process (which I told her I knew considering I have been through 8+ sessions already) she finally told me about the pricing. It was quite expensive and when I said I needed to think about it her tone changed and she began to talk about how the way I described my targeted area sounds like I am not seeing results even though I explained I am they are just slow. Considering that Laser treatments are to peoples BODIES they should be treating these subjects delicately instead of explaining to me what my body looks like. She then proceeded to repeat that if I am looking for quality this is the only place and I wont see results elsewhere. I was now completely turned off and said I wanted to shop around and she then proceeded to hang up on me after saying I wont find better quality for the 100th time. My point in writing this review being that for an establishment that credits themselves on best in class, I would expect that they would handle sensitive topics like peoples bodies gently and that they would even ask about my concerns rather than criticizing my current appearance.

I love it, the place is so welcoming and the receptionist and the professional so lovely!

I got cool sculpting done and it wasn’t as cold or painful as I thought. The girls at the front desk were attentive and police, the girl who did my cool sculpting answered all my questions and checked in on me pretty often, which was nice. The overall experience was good and the recovery was quick.

It was great! Nurses take great care to make sure you are comfortable and explain the treatment the whole time. Jess was awesome, highly recommended!

Tried looking online to get a ballpark estimate of what laser hair removal would cost but it was not able to find it anywhere without setting up some sort of consultation whatever left the website and thought it was over. I was then harassed (like as in receiving 1-5 attempts of contact over like a half hour period) through texts, calls, and emails for about two more months from various of their locations. Really impressed with LaserAway. Carly has done two sessions so far and Adelaida did my first. Very professional, relatively pain free (considering the use of lasers near sensitive areas), and very fast service!

I cannot believe how amazing my results have been at this place. I have PCOS so have had facial hair for many years. I got laser hair removal done at another place a few years back with absalutey zero results which was extremely discouraging. I lost all hope and figured I’d have a beard for the rest of my life. Finally, I decided to give it another shot but with another place which is Laser Away and after just 4 sessions almost all my hair is dead. I could not be happier!! Seriously.

I am very disappointed with my experience today at LaserAway at Assembly Row ,I made an appointment* over the phone the employees were very attentive I made appointment to do botox because in the front window there is a sign written 10 dollars a unit , even though I confirmed with the employee who would make the 36 units for the cost of 10 dollars a unit, when I went to pay at the receptionist she told me that 10 dollars a unit was only if you bought the annual botox package, otherwise the value would be 15 dollars a unit .Instead, then pay 360 for the 36 unit I ends up paying 540 ☹️

Very bad at setting up appointments! They keep rescheduling and they don’t respect that a person has other stuff to do. They scheduled an appointment for me in the Fenway location while it was not even open yet! No one called me and said we didn’t open yet! I just knew because I was driving there and gps said closed! I’m a very very upset customer

This company does not care about its customers at all. The copy/paste response they sent to all their negative reviews below is not even a real email…. I found real contact info for them and reached out to them for support and still never received any response.
