My piercer, Jesse, was very professional while talking about placement. He also got in all the poses to make sure my piercing fit perfectly in my ear. I got a forward helix done, and it is perfectly placed. Not only was my piercer awesome, but the shop is clean and organized with fantastic customer service. #slayJesse

Stopped by Luxe for the Friday the 13th flash sale to get a few new pieces. The store is so clean, the people are so professional. All of the staff at Luxe have always been great to work with and so kind. Took my girl today for her 13th birthday to get her nose pierced because she has wanted for years and she was a little scared and everyone was just so wonderful and kind. I just can’t say enough nice things about them and their professionalism! Will always recommend.

Luxe is seriously the place to go in State College for any piercings whatsoever. I saw on their Instagram that they were having $25 piercings and decided to just jump and get my nose like Ive always wanted. I ended up also impulsively deciding to get my helix done as well. Even before I walked in the door, when I had questions I messaged them and they were quick to respond. Kayla welcomed me when I walked in, made me feel comfortable, and helped me decide what jewelry to get (the piece she helped pick for my helix was the right call- it looks fantastic). From there, Jerry called me back and helped put me at ease right away. As a person who feels better when I am as informed as I can be in a situation, he explained every tool, action, and placement idea thoroughly and both came out so well. He really went through the effort to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible and I could not be happier! When these are healed up I will hands down be back for new jewelry and more piercings for sure!

Luxe is absolutely amazing. I was walking around state college and saw their sign welcoming walk ins and had wanted some new piercings since moving here and read the reviews and all of them were so right. I brought my 2 roommates and the girls up front were amazing and helped us pick exactly what we wanted. I wanted my Tragus and my flat, one roommate got her nose, and my other roommate was changing her nose ring. I have a few piercings so I knew what I was looking for and the girls were so knowledgeable and my roommate only had her original holes from when she was a kid and they reassured her and found what was good for her. My other roommate has had her nose for maybe 2 months and was getting a bump and the girl up front gave her some wonderful advise so she changed the jewelry and gave her remedy recommendations and the bump is completely gone. Jesse was absolutely amazing every good review about him is true. He could tell me roommate was nervous and he walked her through it and made it quick and painless. Mine was absolutely amazing I didn’t even feel any pain just a small pinch. Best experience I’ve ever had. He was quick, clean and everyone was professional. Will be going back for more.

Amazing piercing! Best place I have ever gone for a piercing before. I got a nostril, Helix, and rook. Theyre all healing great! Theyre newest piercer is very good at communicating about everything and explained his process wich was very nice. Im only taking one star off due to the front desk woman being hard to work with and communicate with clearly. Piercing itself 10/10. I plan for this to be my main place to get piercings from now on.

I scheduled a nostril piercing here and had a great experience! It was easy to book the appointment online and when I got there the establishment was very clean and well decorated and it was a comfortable environment. My appointment was with Jerry. He was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He gave me advice on placement and we decided together was was the best look of the piercing. The process was quick and only as painful as necessary. I felt very comfortable and felt like I was well cared for. I got it done a few days ago and it feels and looks great. Definitely will recommend!

I went to Luxe with my daughter to get her ears pierced. She was very nervous, but the amazing staff team made her feel comfortable the moment we walked in. We were greeted with smiles and salutations (and they even gave her a little stuffy at the end!). Additionally, the entire space was clean and open! The selection of jewelry was great. Most importantly, Jesse, the professional piercer, was amazing with my daughter! She said it did not even hurt!! I highly recommend this place if you are looking to get your childs ears pierced!!

My daughter and I have both had piercings done here. The staff is so friendly, helpful and patient. The location is lovely and clean, the jewellery selection is fantastic! They offer very helpful advice to make sure you get what you want, as well as whats best. They dont ever push you into something just to make a quick buck. They all really want you to have a great experience.

Going into Luxe you feel like you’re visiting a family. They treated each other, and us, with kindness and respect. Lauren was the sweetest answering all of our questions and encouraging my daughter for her first piercing experience. Jerry took the time to explain to my daughter each step that would happen while he was piercing her ears. She’s 7 and didn’t shed a tear! Best part was at the end when Lauren let each of my kids pick a prize. My son was there for moral support but was excited that he was allowed a prize as well.

Got ripped off for the price of my eyebrow piercing, then one of the screws fell out on its own, and I wasnt warned about that happening or how to fix it. Tried to go in so they could help, but they changed their hours without a customer having any way of knowing. Went to a different business that would have charged me way less, and they were way more helpful. The receptionist had a much better attitude than the red haired girl who works at Luxe. Never coming back.

Great for kids! We saw Jesse and he was fabulous; helping my 8 yo daughter feel more at ease for her lobe piercing, talking about each step, getting a stuffed toy to snuggle and keep and a lollipop. We were educated on the benefits of using a sterile needle and how measurement of piercing is essential to a healthy, healing process. Our first experience elsewhere with an ear gun was an epic fail. Wish I wouldve known better.My daith piercing was quick and painless, healing beautifully. We return in 8 weeks as part of their aftercare service to ensure this. We will return for any future piercing!

I had a very nice experience here. The staff was very kind and answered all of our questions. Once we got there, the process was very smooth and my friends and I love our piercings (I got my rook pierced).The only reason I gave 4 stars is because my friends and I thought the booking price online included the base jewelry. There was no notice during the online booking process that implied jewelry would be an additional charge. We thought we would have the option to upgrade, but did not know about the additional expense. We just wished there was more transparency!

If I could give zero stars I would. I went here a couple of weeks ago to get a rook piercing. Everything was fine for about 3 days until the site started to swell which made the earring fall out not just once but repeatedly. I would try and put the piercing back in but of course since it’s not healed fully I could not put the piercing in properly. I go back in, have them put it back in. Then that same night the piercing falls out again. I shortly come to find out the jewelry that I purchased was incorrect for this type of piercing. Instead of having a barbell and a screw on top, they gave me a barbell with a top that has a connecting piece, which sticks into the barbell. This type of jewelry was all wrong and the barbell was too short that they originally pierced me with allowing no room for the site to swell. The whole situation makes me more upset then angry because paying about $170 (which is on the expensive side in this area) for a piercing that I am going to have to let close and get re-pierced (obviously by someone else) is a lot of wasted money and aggravation. Long story short do yourself a favor and go somewhere else so you don’t end up like me :(***editPer your response why would your establishment specifically Jesse see this swelling when I came BACK in, completely disregard this and put the SAME jewelry back in. If this is the correct type of jewelry for beginning piercings why is it causing so many issues especially when none of my other piercings have? I’m not trying to be difficult but the lack of responsibility is baffling.

Went here for a septum piercing. Definitely my new go to place for piercings in State College. The staff were all super kind and knowledgeable. The process was fast and painless and the shop itself is very clean. The piercers are confident in their work and made me feel comfortable.

I was greeted by an extremely kind woman,(Kayla) who started my experience off in the best way possible. She was reassuring and honestly hyped me up for my piercing that I was very nervous for. She definitely helped start my experience off very positively. I was then called back by one of the piercers, Jerry. He was very professional, helpful and also reassuring. Jerry was very kind. He thoroughly explained every step, and made the experience amazing as well as relaxing! He even went the extra step and showed me how to flip my septum piercing up if needed. The shop is beautiful, clean and feels nothing like your traditional shop (in the best way possible!) I highly recommend them and will be returning for future piercings!

First time to Luxe Piercing. I went to Luxe for 2 ear piercings, and I had actually emailed them ahead of time to ask some questions. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind emailing back the responses. Luxe is located right next to Ikonic’s entrance, so it was very easy to find. The staff were again very kind and helpful. The store was very clean and the staff were constantly cleaning after every person left the display case. Some great aspects I loved were: they told all prices up front and gave the total cost prior to having piercings done (explained all charges so that you could change things) and they were extremely careful with sterilizing the jewelry prior. The piercer who pierced my ears was Jesse. He confirmed piercing and piercing placement, then marked for me to confirm, and confirmed once more prior. I really valued how he listened to my requests, then prepared me for the piercings. He was skillfully quick to finish, and reviewed all necessary aftercare. The price was good. You do have to pay to purchase rings there (understandably), which can be a little more expensive than some may expect. However, they are willing to explain the pricing of all costs and rings. If I could give 100 stars I would! I’ve been going to the same piercer for 12 years but recently relocated to the area for work. I read the best reviews about Jesse and went in to discuss me getting my piercings back in my ears. A lot of them are second and third time around piercings. He was super professional and gave me his honest feedback. We decided to start with my Industrial and Rook. Before I knew it, Jesse has both done and no pain at all! He has the lightest touch ever and was super fast with both. I have found my new piercer and will never go anywhere ever again!

My friend and I had an amazing experience here. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Our piercer, Jerry, was patient and took his time with us. He made sure every piercing was exactly how we wanted it, and he is just a naturally warm and caring person. The studio was clean and had a large selection of jewelry. We could not have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Luxe and Jerry!!

I got 3 new piercings here with Jesse and he was awesome!! It didn’t hurt and the piercings stayed well. I haven’t had any problems with the piercings so far.

So I came here when it was still Ikonic in 2022 and had the worst experience. I have 10+ piercings (conch, daith, tragus, forward helix, helix, lobes). They were having a sale for rook piercings and charged $90 which is the most I have ever paid for a single piercing, and I usually go to Infinite piercing in Philly which is on the pricier side but SO worth it because they are amazing there! Aside from being absurdly overcharged during a “sale”, the actual piercing was not done well at all and felt so botched. I’ve never had any pain with any other cartilage piercings but this one felt as if they guy took multiple tries to put the needle through my ear, and he said he had been piercing for so many years so I don’t know why getting pierced felt like he either didn’t know what he was doing or straight up didn’t care. I’ve never had a problem with infections or healing but the rook I got at Ikonic got horribly infected multiple times and made my ear swell SO bad I had to remove other piercings on that ear. It took about 2 years total to heal and it still flares up for no reason (it’s not the jewelry either because I have the same mental in other piercings). I am usually 100% okay with paying expensive prices for piercings because you get top tier service for a fabulous piercing that heals well - but here I was WAY overcharged for a bad experience and a piercing that caused nothing but pain and infections.

I had such an absolutely amazing experience with Jerry and the entire staff at Luxe Piercing & Fine Jewelry! I came in wanting a not so common piercing, high nostrils, and I was walked through every step of the process! Jerry was very precise with my piercings and made sure I was happy with them every step of the way! The entire staff was helpful and friendly! The place is beautiful and so clean! I could not recommend this place more! Best piercing experience Ive had!

Just got my second lobe piercing here. place is very pretty and clean and receptionist was very nice. then I went to go get my piercing and the piercer (Jesse) didnt even clean my lobe before piercing it. I wasnt given much aftercare instructions other than spray with saline solution twice a day and come back if you have any problems.I dont think Ill be coming back here, which was a shame because I read so many good reviews. Im happy with the placement of my earring and nothing was too painful, I just still cant believe my ears werent cleaned or disinfected before getting them pierced.

Ive been pierced by both Jesse and Jerry here and had a wonderful experience with both. The receptionists are helpful at providing options for jewelry and even helped with a custom order for a piece Id seen on another website. The shop is clean and welcoming and I highly recommend them for any State College piercing needs.

The shop is clean and classy, upscale jewelry but very budget friendly, the Manager and his Front end ladies are super personable and professional exactly what I would expect, not like your typical run of the mill city shops. Diverse and beautiful. As far as my piercer Jerry, I highly recommend coming and checking out this piercer. In my opinion his ability to connect and interact and communicate clearly what to expect during the process was divine. Beyond that he was a pretty snazzy guy. Completely evolved from your basic piercing experience and I will probably never use another piercer unless he leaves the country or quits the industry. This shop is excellent on all levels.

Very upset with the quality and lack of transparency with prices before booking online. My friend and i got pierced same day by the same person and now a few weeks later both of our piercings are infected at the same time. Super strange how it’s not just one or the other. definitely won’t recommend this to anyone and not a good image for the company.

Jesse is by far the most professional and kindest piercer (and just a genuinely great person). He knows exactly what he is doing and when I was confused about my ear shape he chose the absolute best placing and took everything (my shape and aging) into account to ensure it looks the best it possibly could. He also doesnt mind recommending a lower jewelry price as most shops are just looking for money, he just wants whats best for people. I also did not catch the name of the receptionist but she was wonderful and so kind as well. Thank you for giving me the best experience I could have had! Highly recommended!

My wife just got a septum piercing. Great Customer Service, the ladies at the desk were super upbeat and helpful to us, Jesse was great, very informative on care and piercing specifics.Shop is excellent, looks great, very welcoming.My wifes exact comments were Luxe made me feel very comfortable.ABSOLUTELY Recommend. 10/10

Truly awesome experience! I had been wanting to have my daith pierced along with my tragus and another lobe piercing for years but I was too afraid to do it. Research led me to Jesse who truly took the time to explain everything and calm my fears. Without a doubt the best piercing experience I have ever had and I would go back to Jesse for any other piercings in the future. I can’t say enough good things about his work!

I got my Tragus pierced by Jesse! He was super nice and chill. He loved hearing our stories and jokes when we were there. The place is aesthetically pleasing and has a wide range of beautiful jewelry to choose from. My tragus was $35 plus jewelry so it ended up being $70. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Hi! I got my piercing here. My conch and it was $150! It was extremely expensive! Although the piercer was amazing, the prices are super expensive. The reception was a little rude and all over the place.

Calling my experience at Luxe AMAZING is an understatement. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt completely welcome and at ease. I knew going in that I wanted several piercings and to really style my ear.Lauren helped me choose my jewelry - Im extremely indecisive, and she was incredibly patient and helpful while I changed my mind several times. Jerry checked out the anatomy of my ear and steered me in the direction of the piercings that were best suited for my ear. (I desperately wanted my daith pierced, but it was just too tiny to support a piercing. Im sure there are other shops that would have done it anyway, knowing it would not work out. I was glad to have Jerry point out more suitable areas to pierce.)I ended up with 4 piercings - rook, tragus, conch and upper lobe. After I chose everything, they sterilized it and Jerry got everything set up. He talked me through the placement of each piercing - he gave me his opinion, but would have been happy to move something if I had wanted that. I completely trusted his judgement as the professional piercer and asked him to place everything where it would look best. He was so friendly and was very obviously passionate about his profession. We had a great time chatting and he put me at ease. He also explained a lot of the piercing procedure, which I found fascinating.I can honestly say that other than the initial pinch of the needle, I didnt feel anything. Jerry is definitely my forever piercer!Luxe has a huge selection of beautiful jewelry in all price ranges, and incredibly warm, welcoming and friendly staff and extremely professional piercers. Shop is clean, front desk staff were very nice and the jewelry selection is great. What I did not appreciate was my piercer didn’t measure, mark or ask if I liked the placement of my piercing before he pierced my ear. I felt he was very apathetic and uncaring to the point where the front desk staff had to really work get his attention to tell him that he even had a client. I’m even considering going to another shop to get a 2nd opinion. Just over all not a great experience.

Love the environment and friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and professional. I get a crazy number of compliments on my nose piercing. They have a huge selection of body jewelry. I also love their body chains that are made by a local artist. A must stop experience in State College.

I walked in to ask somebody if they could clasp my seamless septum hoop because I couldn’t get it myself. The staff were super welcoming and friendly, and Jerry had my jewelry fixed in an instant! Very bright and clean shop, will definitely return for any future piercing needs.

I got my septum pierced by Jesse! Best service ever. I have a history of passing out and he made sure I had eaten, that I wasn’t going to fall and get injured and periodically reminded me to breathe, I felt so comfortable and didn’t feel any pain!!! Recommend so much!!!

I got my ears pierced at the beginning of August (2 months ago), to this day they are still not healed, infected and swollen. I followed all instructions given to me to a tea. After struggling and finally getting them out of my ear last night I realized the size of the gages used were way too big for a fresh piercing. In my opinion given the price paid I expected I was going to get a professional experience, and any professional would have known not to use those gages.

I had Jesse re pierce my cartridge and do my tragus. He was great and make the experience well worth it. Very gentle with everything he did.

I got a tragus, lobe, eyebrow, and both of my nipples done by Jesse and he did amazing he was super chill about it all and gave me great aftercare tips

They charge extra for credit cards so bring cash to avoid the surcharge. Ask for a receipt as they dont give a paper one.
