The two tattoos that I had done were exactly what I wanted and more. I came in with ideas that were very minimal and basic, when I walked out, I left with beautiful pieces of artwork. There was clean solid lines and shading that gave the tattoo a better interpretation, along with skin breaks that allowed the tattoo room to breath. Tony and his work was amazing!! He was so nice and very well spoken. I had great conversations with him and it seemed like I was talking with a friend. I will definitely be going back in the future

Wonderful work for such an affordable price. He even touched up a tattoo I had done years ago by a different artist for no additional cost. Very friendly and personable with a professional studio. I recommend 814 to all my friends.

Tony is amazing such a sweet and nice guy! My piercing look amazing I have gotta six from him and every time he makes should they are perfect! Don’t go to luxe! I got ripped off and my conch was $150 and I have gotten 6 from Tony for $70! He’s great! Go to him!

I recommend Tony for all of your piercing needs! I have about 20 piercings from various shops but the 6 I had done by Tony in the past two years have been my best ones yet! He really is a professional and makes you feel confident that your piercing will turn out well. He pays attention to your anatomy, measures out the piercings, and is sure to check for veins. Not to mention, the pricing is so reasonable as all jewelry is included (typically jewelry with a little diamond and not just a barbell). I went to Luxe before I knew Tony and had to remove it as it was ripping out of my skin despite good upkeep. Definitely recommend 814 tattoo!

Tony was amazing! He pierced both of my earlobes and my cartilage. He is very knowledgeable about piercing and he handled my near fainting spell well and knew exactly what to do. His prices are extremely affordable too. Can’t recommend him enough!!!

Called other places (luxe piercing and ikonic) and was in for a $500+ visit with 3 piercings on each ear. Got all 6 piercings with each of them measured and placed perfectly for $80 at 814! Amazing, easy, and highly enjoyable experience. The piercings were painless and done very quickly! I will DEFINITELY be going back and would no doubt choose 814 over any other piercing/tattoo place to get any piercings!

Me and my friend went in for piercings and we had a great experience! Very inexpensive especially compared to every other piercing place in state college. Could tell Tony had a lot of experience and it was very efficient! Overall very great experience, would definitely recommend !!!

My experience at 814 Tattoo was nothing but positive! I am very pleased with the two piercings and jewelry change I got. To make the experience even better, the total cost for the service was considerably cheaper than the other piercing places in State College. Amazing quality and line work. If he quotes you a price and goes an hour or so over to make it look perfect, he stays by his original quote. Also, he has no problem recommending other artists who have a different style and may do you tattoo with better artistic flair, even if it means him sacrificing a sale. Top notch.

Tony is the best! My boyfriend wanted to get his ears pierced and we originally went to a different piercing place called Luxe Piercing who quoted my boyfriend over $200 for for simple lobe piercings. We were infuriated and walked out but Tony did both of his ears (jewelry is included) for only $30. I even got my ears done too! Definitely will come back again with any piercings and tattoo needs. Tony was totally professional and deserving of our business!

I had such an amazing experience! I got my nose pierced and nearly fainted but I was taken such good care of and my health was 100% prioritized. On top of that, my piercing turned out perfectly! Tony took his time making sure everything was measured out properly. The prices are easily the best in state college, and so is the cleanliness and care put into the process. BEST and ONLY place to get any ear piercing in state college!!! I have 10+ piercings (conch, rook, daith, tragus, ect.) and I have been to multiple places in state college and 814 is by far the best! Anywhere else is a scam and horrible piercers. I have come here multiple times over the course of 3 years and the service is always phenomenal and my piercings are always amazing. I’ve gotten my tragus and helix done here and did not have any pain and they both healed so fast and perfectly with no infections! Tony is so nice and really takes the time to measure out the perfect piercing placement and does aftercare: the piercings are quick, painless, and so well done. Also the prices are SO AFFORDABLE!! You pay $20-45 for an ear piercing INCLUDING JEWELRY ($20 for upper ear cartilages which includes jewelry) and you can get an amazing deal when you get multiple piercings ($10 for each lobe/helix after the first)!!!!!! Also they take walk ins! Going anywhere else in state college that is not 814 tattoo is doing a HUGE disservice to yourself! GO HERE IF I COULD GIVE 10 STARS I WOULD ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tony is super nice! He does not rip you off like other business in State College. I went in and asked him to recommend an ear piercing that would would look good with my existing ones and he did not disappoint. I got three new piercings that look AMAZING on my ears and he even looked at my existing jewelry and picked options that compliment them. I was recommended 814 after having horrible experiences at other shops and I am extremely satisfied. I do not think I will ever go anywhere else for a piercing again!

Tony was extremely nice and professional. I heard of 814 Tattoo from a mutual friend who got a tattoo and piercing by him and I decided to try it out on Monday (9/14) after seeing all the good reviews. I was extremely impressed and have been recommending him to everyone since then. I got 4 piercings with studs for only $50! 814 Tattoo is also so clean and you cant beat the prices. I was nervous to get my piercings initially but Tony was so patient and helped me through the process by telling me funny jokes and stories, he couldnt have been more friendly. He also allowed me to bring 1 guest in the room with me for support! Just make sure you call ahead because it gets extremely busy but its honestly worth the wait. He also does both walk in piercings and tattoos which is really convienent. I will definitely be going back and continuing to tell all my friends about this place!

Tony did an amazing job on my earlobe piercing after I explained that my last piercer in the area did a horrible job and overcharged for 1 piercing. For being in the business for 20+ years, you can tell Tony is a master of his craft. He takes his time to measure exactly where it looks best and performs the task with no effort at all. I was in and out within 10 minutes with both lobes done this time and extremely happy with the result. If you’re looking for piercings, you will have no regrets coming here. Lastly, I almost forgot to mention that his piercings are super affordable, so it’s almost a no brainer. You’re getting top quality service, products, and experience at an affordable price.

Tony is the BEST!!! I went in for walk-in appointment and had him put three roses down my ribs. He was really friendly, accommodating, and made me feel comfortable even while he was tattooing me. His prices are amazing too and he will be straight up with you. This tattoo came out better than I ever would have thought, his line work and shading work shows his experience. Couldnt be happier.When I walked in today, he helped correct *cough, cough* Ikonics mistake with my nose piercing and put in safer jewelry for me without hesitation. Got my eyebrow pierced at Luxe and it fell out in a week. Went here and they fixed it in seven seconds, also found out I was ripped off at Luxe! The guy who helped me was really nice and helpful. Next time I want a piercing or tattoo, Im coming right here.

Got my conch, helix, and third lobe pierced here. I did my conch about three weeks ago, and I absolutely have zero issue with it. I will recommend this place to all my friends who wants to have piercings. The shop owner is also very experienced, he did all my piercings quickly and I barely feel any pain. The price is also very reasonable. My friend got her conch at another tattoo studio in downtown, she paid about $100+ just for one piercing, but I got three piercings here for around just the half price. Will definitely come back for another one!🥰

SUCH a good experience. I got 5 lobe piercings with jewelry for $60 because of the deal he has where it’s $20 for one and then $10 for each after. He fixed my 2nd holes to be lined up with my other piercings, gave me one 3rd, and both 4ths. My ears look so much better and it was so inexpensive compared to places like Ikonic where it would’ve been at least 6x more expensive for what I got. The owner also knew exactly what he was doing and measured out the piercings perfectly as well as making sure my friends and I were comfortable. I definitely recommend piercings here, all around amazing experience!!!!

21 piercings in, and I haven’t had a good piercing experience until today. If you are in State College, do not go anywhere else for a piercing. The environment is welcoming, piercers are INCREDIBLY knowledgeable and show concern for your well-being, and prices are very affordable.I didn’t realize how unprofessional, overpriced, and uneducated other shops are (cough…Ikonic Tattoo/Luxe piercing…cough) until I came to 814 Tattoo Co. and realized what I have been missing.

I heard about this amazing place from a friend who got a tattoo touched up. The work that was done on her was incredible. I decided to get three different cartilage piercings and I am ecstatic with the results!! He took time to measure everything out and make sure that no major veins were in the way to ensure that everything would heal nicely. Before this, no piercer has taken the time to do this. The jewelry is great quality as well, for an extremely affordable price. As a college student.... that is MUCH appreciated!! I would 100% recommend for any piercing needs!!!!!

I went with a friend, and I must be honest I was a little intimidated by Tony at first, but after being there for a few minutes he was very funny and easy to talk to. I got a helix piercing and a flat piercing (with jewelry included) for $35, including the tip. He was very professional and it was evident that he knew what he was doing. If I ever need anything else pierced, I know Ill be back at 814.

Initially, I had gone to King Kobra to talk to the artists about the tattoos I wanted, and I was looking to get two small and extremely simplistic tattoos and the artist had told me it would be $160 for both. But my friend had told me that that price was outrageous for the tattoos I was looking for, and she referred me to this tattoo shop instead! Since it was my first time getting tattoos, I went in very nervous and with one of my best friends. I was looking to get the two small tattoos, and Tony was very nice and the shop had a great atmosphere! I felt a little less scared, and the tattoos look amazing! The price was also so reasonable compared to King Kobra, at 814, I paid $120 + tip for the tattoos, and they came out looking exactly how I wanted them to! Great service, great prices, definitely will come back to get more!

Wow! If you are looking for a quality piercing in State College, 814 Tattoo Co. is your place! I am super impressed with the quality and professionalism of 814 Tattoo Co. I had previously called around to book an appointment and check prices. Another location downtown was unwilling to give me a price and deviated from my question. Additionally, I was told there was a huge wait and they couldnt get me in for weeks. When I called 814 Tattoo Co. I was given an honest price (amazing price for quality by the way) and told to head down to the shop. Overall fantastic experience.

Tony and I have come to be friends after I started traveling to his shop. I drive about an hour and a half to his shop and it’s worth it every time. Just wish I’d have found him sooner. He’s personable, doesn’t overcharge you, and he actually works with you to get you the tattoo you want. Couldn’t recommend him more 👍🏼

I had my first tattoo, a memorial piece for my Mother after passed, done here after I conducted very thorough research on potential artist.I brought in a graphite pencil sketch to give him an idea of what I wanted.Austin did my tattoo. It is beautiful and flawless. He out his own spin on the sketch I gave him, thus bringing my idea to life. The line work, which was very fine and thing, is smooth and perfect. His work with color is also phenomenal. He was also very professional, yet also made me comfortable and was easy to hold conversation with.I plan on returning here for subsequent tattoos and highly recommend the artists at this shop. They all do amazing work, as evident by their portfolios. 5/5

I got my seconds done a few months ago at 814. Tony was so great. He measured and made everything look good. Everything was sterile and clean and my ears healed beautifully.

Tony is wonderful! I had an issue at Ikonic Ink with the quote they gave me ($350 and 4 hours for a small tattoo LOL) I went to Tony and he quoted me exactly what I knew the tattoo was worth. I’m extremely happy with my experience here!! Great customer service, great attitude, great atmosphere. This will be the only shop I go to here in State College.

Dont go to Ikonic Ink if youre thinking about getting a new piercing. Tony is way more experienced and has way more affordable prices. I was able to just walk in and get 6 piercings done in one session for only $70.

Best tattoo artist in central PA. the place was clean, he opened the tattoo needle right in front of us, had great conversations, and overall such a great person. not to mention he listened to what i wanted and made sure it was a “me” piece. i will be returning.

I drove two hours to come down because a review said they took walk ins for piercings and tattoos and I wanted something small for my birthday patiently waited to ask after being brushed off for a group of young girls to pay... if this was a possibility showed a picture and instantly shut down wasn’t able to explain size and the fact I didn’t want anything but the line work . So heads up the older review probably isn’t correct anymore.

I moved here from Wisconsin. My ink guy is a friend so Ive been lucky. I really didnt have a clue how much most artists make because my guy cuts me a break. That and he has a personality on top of being an amazing artist. I really hoped after looking at Markos work that I had found an artist to finish my sleeve. No such luck. In fact I dislike this shop and employees energy so much I wont even go back for my touch up. I did everything I was told. I emailed pics of my half sleeve, pics of flowers in colors I like, and that I had a small budget to get started. Never got a reply back. Showed up early and the chick at the counter wasnt welcoming at all. In fact she seemed annoyed. Although not as bad as the artist I picked, Marko. Dude acted like I was an inconvenience the entire time and not a paying customer. He didnt share any creative ideas.He didnt draw anything to collaborate on. In fact he hardly communicated with me the entire hour and a half. He only warmed up when he took me to show his boss his work. Zero professionalism except by the owner. No copies of paper work I signed or an information sheet on follow up care or shop policy on touch ups. Whole experience sucked and my tat really isnt all that. Wont be back or be telling anyone about this place.
