Friendly and clean place. Zarah, the piercing guru, was pure perfection. I wasnt able to get my tragus pierced, but her professionalism and kindness were appreciated and I will definitely be back. Plus, shes funny and adorable. The jewelry selection was one of the best Ive seen, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend!

I reached out to Magnolia Tattoo & Piercing after falling in love with a specific ring from Pupil Hall for my healed septum. I love that they stock a variety of designers as Ive experienced limited selection in other shops. Im somewhat new to piercings and they were very patient with me while answering all of my questions and helping me troubleshoot sizing. I recieved my new jewelry pretty quickly and it was packaged very securely. My new ring fits like a glove and I am absolutely in love with it. I look forward to upgrading more jewelry and getting pierced at Magnolia in the future!

My first experience here was wonderful. I drove nearly two hours for a daith piercing after two failed attempts from piercers in my area. Zarah was very thorough and made sure I got the placement I wanted. The piercing turned out perfect. I can’t wait to return and hopefully get some gold jewelry from Magnolia in the future. 1000% recommend! I’m so excited to have found a piercer I can count on.

Such a professional atmosphere it made the hour drive there and back worth it; their piercer took care to sanitise the area and do a q-tip test for my piercing. she made me feel really comfy despite the situation (and for the piercing, she did it super fast, which helped with the pain in my opinion). it’s been five weeks and it’s healed wonderfully!!!!

I came here to get pierced and Zarah was AMAZING. Studio was a clean, welcoming environment and Zarah was very thorough with explaining everything I needed to know. She took her time, was exceptionally kind, and was understanding that I was a bit nervous and talked me through the whole thing. Wish I knew about her sooner! Had a great experience getting my daughters ears pierced with Zarah. She was so patient, walked my daughter through each step, explained everything carefully and thoroughly, and gave her all the time she needed to calm her nerves during the process. Definitely recommend!

Zarah is one of the most talented and professional piercers in the industry. She is able to recommend and advise for the best placement, jewelry fit, and what you may not be able to do from a safety standpoint. Today I added two helix piercings and had a variety of jewelry to select from. I was given several different side by sides of jewelry to review in sealed containers so I could see how they looked before choosing. All pieces were gorgeous and Zarah pointed out a unique design that complimented my initial selection. She prepared a quote of the cost so I was aware before we got started. From there, she sanitized and prepared the piercing room, spoke with me and adjusted my daith jewelry before walking me through aftercare and when to come back to shorten the bars after the initial swelling. She took several measurements and advised me that there may be a small adjustment as once the initial piercing is placed she may need to adjust the height of the second. She instructed me on my breath for the piercing (which helps 100%!) and checked in to make sure I was feeling good to go when we finished. She immediately scheduled my follow up appointment and encouraged me to reach out with any and all questions. And on a personal note, she is one of the most genuine and fun people to talk to and makes you feel comfortable with her kind and easy going personality. She is an incredible gem for the world of piercing, and I look forward to working with her again!

Zarah is absolutely amazing! I saw her years ago at another location, but was so excited to hear she had a new shop. Shes been so helpful during the healing process for my daith. I look forward to getting my nose pierced once the mask mandate gets lifted. Such a clean and professional experience. Shes a rockstar ❤️

Anyone who rates Zarah anything less than 5 stars is insane. I’ve had irritation with 2 of my piercings (pierced by someone else at a different studio with cheap jewelry) and I reached out to Zarah for advice due to her medical and piercing qualifications. She wrote me extensive instructions and eased my concerns immediately. A couple months later, I scheduled an appointment to pick out some new jewelry from her shop and get my old jewelry out. The process was super quick and easy, and the shop is very clean and aesthetically pleasing. There are a ton of options at a very reasonable price considering the quality of the jewelry. She helped me pick out pieces that fit my needs and my liking. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking to get pierced! Thank you Zarah for all of your help.

This shop left me impressed. Was greeted right as I arrived, friendly and welcoming. Although I didn’t get a tattoo, I would go back and get one based on the piercing experience.Zarah was amazing! I went in about 3 weeks ago to get my daith piercing and she did great; was kind, patient and informative on the process and aftercare. Total was about $75, $22 of that being for a basic hoop. I look forward to going back once my ear heals so I can get a different hoop in. Definitely recommending this place over any other in town.

Drove two hours from Alabama for a piercing, and it was beyond worth the trip. Zarah made the experience so easy and pleasant. She explains everything so well and gives you the chance to make it your own with custom options like jewelry and sizes and such. The studio is so clean, nice and modern, which is a welcome change from the somewhat sketchy feel of tattoo/piercing parlors elsewhere. Love the space! Very clean, perfect temp., Professionalism was 10/10. I was little late, I would come 10-15 minutes before your appointment to be safe. Very thankful my appointment wasn’t canceled- I feel this was probably mentioned to come little early but it slipped my mind :/-Zarah pierced me and she took her time with everything and she also apologize for how long some parts of the process took but I rather have that instead of someone rushing through the process. She was great!!! She even found my old Septum hole as well. Great appointment overall . I will be back for more !

I got an industrial piercing by Zarah recently. I have a tendency to feel very ill around needles, but she made me feel SO safe and comfortable, I had zero issues. She is so personable, wise, and truly tries her best to make sure you are content. She thoroughly explains aftercare and guides you every step of the way when she is piercing you. Easily the best tattoo shop in town. Zarah has done several of my piercings and she is so gentle which really helps you out when having a needle pushed through you (seriously). Chris has done several of my tattoos and I would never get a big project done by anyone else! He always knows exactly what I want even though I am really bad at explaining my visions. The place is super clean and spread out so youll feel super comfortable when youre there for a long tattoo session!

This place is pretty! White walls and calming music, I’ve got multiple tattoos but went to get a piercing and it’s a better experience when you don’t have loud angry music blaring at you. Magnolia Tattoo exceeded my high expectations in all respects, and Matt Manning is an artist that happens to give tattoos!Matt was highly recommended to me, so I scheduled a consultation. The facility is amazingly clean and inviting. Matt was there upon my arrival and proceeded to tell my that my tattoo idea was not a good one and that perhaps I should go see someone else. It’s comical now, but it was a critical moment as I appreciate honest directness. I liked Matt personally, so we kept talking and got to the point where we agreed that he would create the coolest, most unique redfish tattoo for my calf that anyone has ever seen.He is a busy guy, so about a month or so later I showed up at the studio for my appointment. We sit down and he pulls out this drawing that he created that had me gobsmacked. He had succeeded in his promise in creating something sublime. I requested no changes and 4 hours later I had a magnificent tattoo.The highest praise I can provide is that I will be back at Magnolia in a few weeks for an even bigger tattoo. Matt is a true professional that probably spends as much time working on the design of tattoos as he does putting them on. Zarah is absolutely amazing! She was extremely professional every step of the way. I came in booked for a triple forward helix, but she was honest about what would fit best based on the anatomy of my ear. We ended up going for a double forward helix and a flat, and I love it! She answered all my questions, walked me through all the aftercare, and made sure I was comfortable through the whole process. Due to the tight area of the forward helix, she had to pierce one of them twice, but Im so thankful that she wasnt going to let me walk out the door with a piercing that wasnt straight. Her services alone are worth the drive. Thank you again for everything!

This is no janky hole in the wall sketchy piercing place, this is an extremely professional and high quality piercing studio. In addition to being a member in good standing with the Association of Professional Piercers (for over a decade), Zarah is a licensed nurse! I have been seeing Zarah for over 5 years and even followed her when she opened her own studio during covid. In addition to my numerous basic piercings, she has worked with me on a complicated ear piercing project (hex-helix (6) that turned out amazingly) and was patient and extremely professional with me through the process. When we were both unhappy with the placement of the third helix she was upfront with me, even before me seeing it, that she was unhappy with the placement and would like to take it out. I agreed and we did it until we got it right (with a few weeks between each piercing). But she did that piercing for free and gave me the jewelry for free as well. I was so thankful for her patience and her own interest to produce the perfect outcome that I was looking for.Pricing here is also extremely fair. Good quality jewelry is expensive, as it should be.

Zarah was the rudest person I have ever met, as soon as my friend and I walked in she was not friendly what so ever. Their website was very confusing in some places and when we told her that she goes “I don’t know what’s confusing about it” aggressively almost. Their prices are also outrageously expensive please explain to me why when i was told I could bring my own jewelry in she immediately told me it wasn’t going to work with my cartilage piercing I was getting, but yet it was almost the exact same earring that my friend had in her cartilage piercing. She recommend me an earring that was $48, that is more than the actual piercing itself. I will never recommend this place to ANYONE. 10/10 one of the worst customer service I have dealt with.

Very unprofessional. They changed my original appointment time and when I showed up 5 minutes late with my 2 kids I was turned away in a rude manner. Almost felt like Zara racially profiled me. She did not have time to accommodate or listen to why I was late. Maybe the experience would have been different with a white lady. I was recommended to come here by a coworker. Highly disappointed will not be back. Stay away.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I will not recommend this place for piercings. Zarah pierced my nose in the wrong spot with jewelry that was not a good choice for the nose piercing healing process. I started to form a large bump underneath the nose ring. The jewelry is not included in the price of piercing that you book. it was $40 to pierce my nose and $50 for the jewelry. I paid nearly $100 for one nose piercing that was placed in the incorrect spot. When I reached out to my piercer to fix the bump problem, the things she suggested did not help and she offered to change my jewelry only if I purchased more jewelry from her. I had to go to another piercer to get the bump drained and better jewelry to be placed in the piercing.

Got my nose pierced by Zarah. They were phenomenal and extremely accommodating while making me feel safe and comfortable. I’m definitely going back for my other piercings :)

Chris is an absolutely amazing tattoo artist, and a really down to earth individual. His work is sublime, and his hand is incredibly steady, premium line work. Ive had two pieces done by Chris, one when he was working at a previous establishment and now he has his own shop with co-owners. I recommend anyone to get their work done by Chris, truly a talented artist.

One of the best hidden gems in Tallahassee would be Magnolia Tattoo, now located in the Winn Dixie shopping center next to Little Italy. Ive been getting tattood for about the last 15 years, and Magnolia Tattoo is by far my favorite shop. The shop is impeccably clean and has the cutest atmosphere inside, you honestly will forget you are getting tattood because it is so visually beautiful inside the shop with such thoughtful design esthetics everywhere, they even have complimentary coffee and a lounge area! The owner, Matt Manning is such a great guy and his artwork has been some of my favorite pieces that I have had tattood on me. Would recommend this shop over any shop in Tallahassee.
