I have had my patchwork sleeve almost entirely done here at Bed of Roses. Emilio (@ohshitsick) is so helpful and talented, he has helped me plan and perfect the pieces i have picked. I got my first machine tattoo here a few years ago from Ian (Gold Wrks) who does phenomenal work as well! Always such an inviting environment and Emilio is always so so helpful with placement or design ideas. Highly recommend for any people new to tattoos, and for tattoo lovers as well! A great space for fantastic work overall. I will always book here for all my work.

Bed of Roses Tattoo Stuido is hands down your one-stop shop for all your tattoo needs.Alex Mora has been my tattoo artist for more than 5 years, and his work is stellar! With his skill as an anime artist and his ability to adapt advanced tattoo techniques with his understanding of color shading and blending created this work of art that captures the Iconic One Piece Straw Hat Crew pictured in this half sleeve.I would recommend him in the highest regard for any anmie or stylistic art that you need. He is by far one of the best tattooist that have ever done work for me, and my canvas has had many.Five Stars for Meticulous work and genuine care and preservation of art! Just finished my sleeve yesterday with Josh (thenooj) after 5 sessions of linework with him consistently throughout 2021 and 4 sessions of shading within 2024. Probably totaling to about 20 hours. Josh is so professional and does an amazing job explaining everything from the design, to the placement to making sure you are comfortable the entire time! His attention to detail is truly unmatched and he really makes you feel like you’re at home while youre getting your tattoo. Great Staff at Bed of Roses and the shop is extremely clean and comfortable to be in. I am so happy with the way my sleeve came out from the line work to the shading it has been an amazing experience getting my sleeve done and I cannot recommend Josh enough to anyone looking for the best tattoo in the Tampa Bay area!

As an older person I always worry about feeling weird in a tattoo shop (like what are you doing here grandma) But did not for even a second feel that here.My artist @bigdirtnap was the nicest and helped me work out how to make her art on my arm fit my needs.Shop was open and clean . 4 artists at work while i was there and all seemed welcoming and kind to each client.Would definitely recommend!

@bigdirtnap is hands down one of the best tattoo artists I’ve come across. I gave her the freedom to create a tattoo for me and she did not disappoint! From the line work to the shading, it’s all amazing! She took two simple sea creatures and brought them to life! Now my whole family wants to get tattooed by her

Mars Brie (@marsbodyart) is not only an absolute gem of a human being, but a phenomenal artist! They are patient and communicative, and take care to ensure your comfort throughout the process. I have five tattoos from them & more planned for the future! Couldn’t recommend anyone more highly, especially if you’re looking for an artist with acute attention to detail, clean lines, & a piece shaped to fit your body.The shop itself has a pleasant, cozy atmosphere as well. The parking lot is a bit tight so be careful pulling in—but they are definitely worth the visit!

Everyone in the shop is always friendly and welcoming. Ive been getting tattooed by Ella and Emilio for quite some time and consistently have amazing experiences. I wouldnt go anywhere else and cant recommend this tattoo shop enough.

I got a tattoo by Emilio and he was absolutely amazing! The studio was so clean and cute and everyone I met was welcoming and kind. From what I saw, the artists there specialize in different art so they are suitable for most. I have had poor tattoo experiences in the past and Emilio was very comforting and reassuring to make sure I wouldn’t experience that again. I love my tattoo and this studio I will definitely be back in the future and I would recommend this place to anyone!

The best shop in all of Tampa! Every artist is so skilled you can’t go wrong, everything from custom to flash is amazing quality! Had to add on that Emilio absolutely nailed the latest crow piece.

I ended up at Bed of Roses to get my second piece done by Mars. The shop itself is super cute and has an open and welcoming vibe. Mars is really down to earth and easy to talk to - even for shy people like myself :)Mars once again took a roughly sketched vision I had and turned it into a unique and stylized piece for my little collection of sea creatures. They pay extra attention to the tiniest details and have some of the cleanest linework I’ve ever seen. You can tell they’re very proud of what they do, and you really can’t go wrong booking them!

Ive gotten 3 pieces by Alex Mora, his work is incredible, he makes you feel very welcome and really cares about his craft. I recommended him to my wife whos gotten multiple pieces as well! Will definitely be back again!

I got tattooed by Rachel @BigDirtNap. The shop is super cleanly and organized. The environment is comfortable and chill. I got 2 tattoos and I’m soo happy about them. I got a Mushroom and a Bow. Both were done quickly, professionally, and meticulously. I have 2 more appointments booked very soon. Excited to get one of Rachel’s Kewpies and a clown too! I would recommend this shop, and specifically Rachel to anyone.

Im from out of town and came in without an appointment- Rachel was kind enough to take me and did such an amazing job! Alex M. at Bed of Roses is amazing!He helped create a beautiful floral water color memorial tattoo to honor my late dad and grams and also fixed up an old color piece that was a really rough living room tattoo from younger less wise days.Both look so beautiful and my watercolor gets multiple compliments anytime its showing with an outfit.All that and he is amazing with animation pieces as well done on a few friends of mine!I also feel like he makes the experience nice as well, working in breaks with soothing cold presses while still working a at a good pace.Cant recommend this artist enough!

Alex is my go to artist! First off, if you love Anime; hes your guy! Alex is really talented and a very kind artist. I always feel comfortable going into the shop. Ive been getting work done by him for about 2 years now and Ive never left disappointed. His line work is just SO solid and clean and by far the most complimented on by other people. His attention to detail and shading is also some of the best Ive seen. Im happy to finally have an artist I can be dedicated to and trust to do amazing work every time. The shop itself is always clean, and a lot larger then it looks from the outside and the décor around the shop is so cool! My friend Danika has been going to Josh for years now and tells everyone to go to him and now I know why! He’s so easy to talk to and open to ideas while very much having his own style. After today I booked a session with him in June for my arm sleeve which is a piece I’ve been very picky about choosing an artist for. Thank you Josh!

Sometimes they bring in guest artists, which is a great opportunity to get tattooed by someone not from the area. Occasionally they have flash days too, which are super fun to attend! Bed of roses is a great tattoo shop. I came here to get my first tattoo and the experience was awesome and efficient. The place has an amazing environment, everyone is super friendly and I’m glad I came here for my first tattoo. My artist was Alex, and if you want an anime or anime style tattoo, it’s a no brainer to go to him. Really cool guy and is extremely skilled.

Mars is really great to work with! They listened to what I wanted for the design of my tattoo and made great suggestions to improve my thoughts. I already had my half sleeve started and they added a new piece, did some filler design free style, and will be fixing a tattoo done by someone else (it’s mid-process, so I can add photos upon completion).

By far my favorite tattoo shop I’ve been to in all of Tampa! I typically go to Josh and Ian for my tats, but I have friends who go to different artists here and all of their work is next-level. They host such a variety of artists that no matter your preferred style(s), you’ll be able to find someone who does killer work. The shop itself is always spotless (and very stylish, if you’ve never been) you can tell the artists here really care about their work and making sure you love what you leave with. From taking the extra time with placement, designs, ect. The entire experience is always very professional, without being intimidating. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, just do your research on their IGs to find the artist for you and know that you’ll be well taken care of here!

I went to Rachel (a.k.a @bigdirtnap on insta) for a clown tattoo on my shin. I had such a wonderful experience getting tattooed by her - the music was great, the atmosphere is cute, and Rachel was so sweet. I will def be back, she killed it on my tatt!!!

Would recommend Bed of Roses 10 out of 10 times! It’s an artfully designed tattoo studio and all of the artists working there are cool, friendly and welcoming. Zero arrogance at this shop, which makes for such a fun overall experience. Plus they are all true artists. My best friend and I have gotten several tattoos from both Josh and Emilo and couldn’t be happier with how beautifully they healed. Every artist has their own unique style and it’s clear to see they enjoy collaborating together. Josh, the shop-owner, has such a great approach to tattooing and I always look forward to getting tattooed by him. I get complemented on his tattoos specifically so often - the fine line quality is on point. And honestly, so are the snacks — full size Fiji waters, fruit snacks, granola bars, and PINK starburst. Bed of roses is the best spot for quality tattoos and i always make sure to recommend it to my friends and family. such a fun, clean space! i’ve been for a couple tattoos but this past time rachael did an amazing job caring for me. super fast, light handed, and fun to talk to during our session. love all of the work coming out of this studio, you’d be missing out if you don’t check this spot out.

Mars is amazing! We worked on a sleeve for the better part of last year. Excuse my horrible photo skills, but it turned out awesome. I went to Mars without a super clear concept, but with more of a style preference and they were able to create a beautiful piece.

The whole studio is immaculate and so inviting! everyone I interacted with was so sweet. my artist was Ian and he was so comfortable and chill to be around. Love it! Very chill vibes, very clean. Alex Mora has now done the majority of my tattoos and I keep coming back for more. I would highly recommend booking with him, especially if you are into anime. I have gotten a handful of Ghibli and FMA tattoos by him as well as favorite cartoon and book characters in different styles. Hes really talented and fun to chat with. Bed of Roses is a great shop. I drive 3 hours to visit my artist Josh & it is always worth the drive. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

I got tattooed by Alex and the experience was very chill and the other staff at the shop were very friendly. I dont like talking much, so I really appreciate not having to feel forced to make conversation during the session. The tattoo itself was great, it was a very easy process and cleanly done. :)

Today was my first time visiting Bed of Roses, and I had a great experience. Everyone there was very welcoming and friendly- they were running their Black Friday event, and it was busy but they streamlined it beautifully.Josh did both of mine, and one of a friends and was friendly the whole time- we were there for hours(because they weren’t sequential- we signed up twice), and I would have understood if he was less social or too tired- but he was great. He kept snacks and water available, and a partition to offer some privacy. I’m looking forward to him opening his books and scheduling in the future.

By far the best tattoo spot in town. Artists are all accommodating and Josh nails it everytime. Don’t think twice about booking an apt here 🤘🏼

If you’re shopping around for your next tattoo, STOP HERE!First off, the atmosphere is really the calmest and comfiest shop i’ve been in. Everyone i spoke to was very nice and i didn’t wait for a long time for my appointment.Second, my artist was Josh and his art is amazing so i would suggest trusting what he recommends. He’s light handed, makes sure to check on you during the session and he provides snacks and drinks in the rooms. He even gave me three stickers after the session and im obsessed with them!There are a lot of great artists in the studio to check out and they have similar styles. Josh is great, but his bookings are usually hard to get on so i’d follow his instagram to see when he and the other artists have open bookings!Great shop, i believe i found my new favorite shop

I had a couple good experiences here with John however my last appointment ended with me getting cursed at in the lobby in front of other clients while trying to resolve a scheduling miscommunication. I understand people have rough days but homie was honestly mad weird , would not recommend
