I had an appointment with Amanda this morning for two tattoos. Amanda is great with communication, ensuring her client is comfortable, obviously pretty rad. Shop was clean, parking was easy if you read the signs instead of driving past them and was an all-around pleasant experience and I hope to go back for more work.

This shop is one of the best! Truly loved my experience from the moment I walked in! Heather is my tattoo artist and her talent is beyond incredible! I tell everyone about her and the amazing shop! Better than 5 ⭐️!

Got a custom tattoo done by Josh Presley. It is gorgeous, just how I wanted it. Hes very talented. It was my first tattoo and he was gentle and kind and made me feel very comfortable. He explained everything well. Josh really enjoys what he does and that makes his art amazing. Facility was very clean and sanitized, I felt quite safe.

My daughter asked me to meet her there at 4. I drove 54 minutes from my area I didn’t feel well because I had a tooth pulled a couple of days ago. I didn’t want her to get a tattoo on her arm but respected her. I observed that the place was very nice and clean! I forgot his name so he was doing a feather with birds on her forearm. Beautiful artwork!!

Drove from Jacksonville, because of great reviews and talented artist. For the most part Theyre representation proceeds them. My sisters wanted sister tattoos and Heather was amazing. Work was so delicate and detailed. Everyone is extremely happy with the work done. The music was a bit over the top for our taste. So when returning definitely bring headphones! 😆.

Momentum Tattoo Tampa is my favorite place to get tattooed. I have seen Amanda multiple times and she is stellar but the overall experience is awesome as well. Clean, art gallery-esque, and chill staff and artists. The artists are the best and popular so be sure to book how they accept bookings. Thanks Momentum Team! I will keep driving from Orlando and after I relocate from NYC to the best tattoo shop in the country.

I got my tattoo on 03/01/2022 from Josh Presley, and he was great. Ive had two tattoos from another shop previously, and in comparison, I had a much better and more personalized experience here at Momentum Tattoo. Josh took my wants and requests into consideration when working through the design, and came up with a great concept that Im happy with. The 9 hour session went by feeling more like 4 hours, as Josh was able to hold an interesting conversation (without talking too much) and he kept my comfort in mind for the entire tattoo. We played music for each other, talked about Liam Neeson, and also talked about future concepts and designs we might like to work through together. I would recommend Josh for anyone looking to get a tattoo, whether its your first or your 30th, as Josh is great to work with, and did everything he could to get me the best tattoo possible.

I had a tattoo with Amanda today and she was stellar! Her style is so cute and I knew shed know just what to draw up for me when I said I wanted a llama with Elvis hair. I was so excited as soon as she showed me the drawing. She made the whole tattoo so comfortable and was super enjoyable to sit and talk to. The shop was clean, welcoming, and just all around a great environment. I highly recommend this shop in Tampa!

@Steve OkerFirst off I want to say I am not from Florida, I live in Kentucky. However following Steves Instagram I saw all of the great pieces that he did. I knew that I wanted him to design and do my tattoo for me. My friends thought I was crazy for going to such lengths to get a tattoo done, but I when I want something, I want it. And I knew Steve would be able to do what I wanted.Boy was I right. From the emails back and forth to the actual appointment, Steve was amazing. He took the ideas that I wanted and turned it into a beautiful piece. He gave me things that I didnt even know I wanted until he put it on me. Every step of the way I was just thinking, This is exactly what I want. From beginning to end he delivered what I wanted and beyond. The most I look at it the more detail and work I see he put into it. Every line and every detail is just so perfect. I cannot even express the gratitude to Steve for working with me and creating this piece for me.After getting the tattoo completed, everywhere I went (from the uber to the hotel, to Walgreens to get some ointment, to Panera for dinner, even at the airport and so on) people would ask me where I got my tattoo. I just said, Niteowl Tattoo. I flew down here just for it because its worth it. So watch out Steve, I hear some people said that they might come visit.Thanks so much Steve!

This tattoo shop is top notch as well as my artist Henry Quills @ HQ tattoos on instagram.Henry has done two half arm sleeves and two back peices for me.The artists and assistants that work there are friendly and work well together.The assistants referred me to Henry due to the style of tattoos I was looking for.What a great fit,he exceeded my expectations and was a true artist and a master of his craft.This shop is clean and professional,and a pleasure to see how well the staff work together.I am a Salon owner and have assistants and a staff as well and it is nice to see a great business with a great staff.Remember a tattoo is permanent and ya get what ya pay for,you should also always have a recommendation so here it is.I have been getting tattooed for over 30 years and this place is amazing as well as Henry Quills.The owner runs a great place with a good vibe and a quality staff,just cant say enough good things about this place ,my tattoos,and my artist.I spent more than 24 hours in there over the last month and I saw alot of great tattoos coming out of there by all the artists.

Josh is hands down the GOAT. Not just in terms of tattoos, but the total experience is always like hanging with your best bud. Josh was awesome. He has such a great, calm attitude and is an amazing artist. Some of the other artists popped in while he was working on me and they all had great attitudes. Highly recommend looking at their instagrams to choose the best artist for what you want, as they all have different styles.Update after we finished my piece: 12/10 stars. Josh was willing to make a few changes on the spot that just made my tattoo pop. Positive attitude and 100% feel comfortable with him. Definitely returning in the future.

Had a great experience here with Steve. He was super nice and easy to talk to and made my time their enjoyable. I got 2 small script tattoos and he did a wonderful job. I was able to ask questions and I really liked that he didnt make me feel like my small tattoos werent important enough considering he does larger more colorful pieces. The shop was clean, modern and had awesome artwork inside. The other staff was also really nice to me & my sister while we were there.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Billy Toler. Not only did I get an incredibly amazing tattoo but I got the BEST experience out of all the tattoos Ive ever gotten. I was taken care of. He offered TV, music, fan, warmer, etc to make me comfortable! He treated me not just as a canvas but as a person who needs to take a break every couple hours, eat, rotate sitting positions, and not pass out. Josh Presley is not only an incredible artist, but is also an all around genuine human. He is a family man, very easy going, adaptable, and desires to give you an original and long lasting vibrant piece of art. He did a coverup for me and left no trace of the original tattoo. Ive had tattoos from other people in the past, but no one nearly as perceptive to the clients comfort as Josh was. The shop is incredibly clean and well organized. The team and artists are friendly and provide a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Shout out to the apprentice, Amanda, who is also an amazing artist and very efficient with maintaining the flow and overall vibe! Cant wait to see more of Amandas work!

Ive been to see Matt twice now and Im always super impressed with him. The first time I came here, he pierced my friends nipples and he did such a good job at keeping her distracted and informed on what to do. Hes hilarious and never fails to make people relaxed and comfortable. Hes super upfront about what to expect from piercings and the jewelry and he does this bad ass chemistry type thing that can change the color of the metal of your piercing. The store is very clean and shows the artists fantastic work right as you walk in. 12/10 would recommend for absolutely any piercing. 😁

Love this shop! Steve Oker has done my last three big tattoos including two full sleeves and a big start on my chest piece. Everyone in the shop is friendly and welcoming, and you can tell the artists enjoy working there. The shop is clean and well decorated and easy to find. I cant wait to go back for my next session!

I live right down the street from NiteOwl and decided to give it a shot for my next tattoo and piercing(s) and I will never go to a different place again. Josh did my tattoo and Matt did my piercings... both are incredibly talented and care about their clients. They use the best quality stuff and explain everything that is happening so you never question a thing. Staff is ALWAYS super friendly and awesome, place is extremely clean and well managed. Best place Ive ever been.

Had a great experience working with Steve Oker at NiteOwl Tattoo! I got a custom watercolor piece, and Steve was great about incorporating what I wanted in to the design. My session ran about three hours, and Steve made sure I was comfortable and got breaks when I needed them. The shop itself is super clean and well-lit, and all the staff I encountered there were friendly and nice. Looking forward to returning for my next piece!

This place is incredible. Billy was recommended by a friend after I had a bad experience and an unfinished tattoo started by another artist. From beginning to end this was a good experience. The staff was very friendly and the place is super clean and beautiful. I knew from the consult that this was going to be a better experience. Billy spent quite a bit of time with me explaining how he would do the color and why certain things wouldn’t work and what he recommended for a better outcome. I can’t say enough positive things about Billy, he was super nice and I can’t even put into words the amount of talent he has. Absolutely blew my mind how beautiful this tattoo came out and I am so happy. I would highly recommend him if you have a large piece and want the best outcome. Absolutely amazing!!! Go see him!

I was fortunate enough to stumble upon Billys instagram and had back to back sessions last week. I can tell you that there was a couple months wait to get book but IT IS SO WORTH THE WAIT. He makes you as comfortable as possible with TV, music, etc. He talks you through EVERY step of your tattoo and what he plans to do through the session. His work speaks for its self and Im already getting compliments on a tattoo that only has the black shading done. The other artist were stopping in and talking to him and also talked to me. They seemed super friendly and personable also. 10/10 would recommend!

My artist was Steve Oker. He was super nice, very thorough and had great communication throughout the process. The entire staff at Momentum Tattoo are all so nice and professional. This is a great place to go for any tattoos. They are clean and sanitary and take pride in what they do. You can’t beat that. I highly recommend this place and the artists to anyone but I will definitely be going back to Steve for some more!

Absolute best piercing experience I’ve ever had! I was freaking out due to a previous bad experience with a different piercer. Matt talked me though the entire experience and put me at ease, his sterilization and overall skills are off the charts! I felt little to no pain and did not bleed as I did previously with the other experience. Would highly recommend him to anyone!!

Super clean shop and very friendly staff. Steve Oker did my Toy Story tattoo in his watercolor sketch style and it is amazing! It healed to look exactly the way it did when I walked out of the shop. Its not overworked, and doesnt need to be touched up. Trying to figure out what to get next so I can go back :) They had some great music playing (IMO) and some joking between artist made for a fun time. Ive been to several artists/shops, and this is by far the best one!

Best piercer ever! I saw Matt for the first time a week ago to have my tongue and front helix pierced. He has a passion for piercing as an art form and gave me great advice on how and why certain placement would be best. The shop is incredibly clean - he is the only APP piercer in the area. I went back for 3 more piercings just a couple days later, including a VCH which he did perfectly! He is a great artist and such a great personality I felt comfortable immediately. I will only be going back to Matt for future piercings. Thanks, Matt!

Got my very first tattoo done by Steve Oker and its absolutely fabulous! Im totally in love with it and already want more. He was very professional and knew exactly what I wanted, and some things I didnt know I wanted! I will definitely be recommending this shop (and Steve specifically) to everyone who wants a tattoo. I went into Nite Owl Tattoo & Piercing yesterday to get a nose piercing and right off the bat I got a good vibe from the clean shop and welcoming artists. Matt is very thorough, professional, and clean. He showed me everything he was doing and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend Matt and the shop! Steve Oker is absolutely amazing! Ive gotten two tattoos from him in the past couple weeks and Im beyond ecstatic with how they turned out. One was lettering on my shoulder and the other was a watercolor elephant on my ribs. Would definitely recommend going to him. Hes such a talented artist. I love going to Nite Owl! I get to see my two Favorite people Matt and Audrey! Audrey is great at her job as a front desk assistant! She’s very helpful and as sweet as sugar. As for Matt he’s hands down the best piercer you will find. I say one off the best in Florida hands down. He’s very patient and really cares about you and will answer and educate anything about piercings. No many how many times I go in I feel welcomed and Matt always is so sweet giving you candy and hugs after your piercing.I’m the end Matt is the only person I trust with my piercings and if you’re looking for someplace else to go don’t bother just go to Nite Owl because they’re the best!

Definitely the best piercing experience Ive ever had! Super knowledgeable and super comfortable. Even after I have 9 piercings I still learned so much on my visit to Matt and Ive never felt so safe before during a piercing. Matt gave me a daith piercing and it was a really good experience. Hes really relaxed about it all and helps you know what to expect. I was scared because it was my first piercing but because he stayed so nonchalant and calm it helped to make me feel better. Its really clean and he takes it really seriously, he cares about your safety and educates you about how to take care of your piercing.

This is such a great location. The shop is spacious and super clean. Everyone working there was so nice and had a great vibe. I cannot rave about my artist (Steve Oker) enough. I got a piece from him when he worked at a different location and made sure to follow him here when it was time to get a coverup on an older tattoo. His work is amazing and diverse in styles. Zach Bowden absolutely crushed my tattoo!! Took me in short notice and worked for nearly 10 hours straight on a huge thigh piece, with no lack of attention to detail, no dip in quality. It’s now my favorite tattoo even over my sleeve that cost a damn fortune. This man this the truth and I’ll follow him wherever he goes.Now for the shop: Super clean, modern, easy parking and friendly staff. Everyone was kind and polite and I was finally shown what a quality shop looks like after going to eight different shops. Love this place. Go here.

Not only was Steve and his staff super nice and welcoming, but Steve did an amazing watercolor portrait of my dog that about brought me to tears. Oh my goodness! this place is INCREDIBLE! Matt is a miracle worker!!! few years ago I got my cartilage pierced with a gun at like a Claires place and they totally screwed it. I went in to Nite Owl wanting to simply get my simple diamond stud to a hoop. Matt informed me of all the issues (irritation bump, lingering infection and they pierced it with the wrong size!) Anyway, Matt was so knowledgeable and kind. He stretched the piercing and cleaned it and put the hoop in. The place is very clean and the prices are very decent. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely return here for all my upcoming piercings.

I got a second piercing on my nostril today. I was a little anxious, because I hadnt gone to a professional before, but Matt did a fantastic job. My experience started off horrible with this shop due to an artist that is no longer employed here, however the owner of the shop made my experience right which is all that matters.This shop has arguably the BEST a collection of artists in one place in the Tampa Bay Area. Not only that, but it’s extremely important to pick a shop with good customer service. A good tattoo is more than just finding a talented tattoo artist, but also having a good experience.The owner was more than accommodating towards me even when I was less than patient with him.You can put your trust in this shop. Got pierced by Matt and I feel like I can never get pierced by anyone else again! Hes the coolest dude. He made me and my friend feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed before, during, and after we got pierced. Hes so thorough-I would trust him with any piercing. 100% would recommend anyone to come here. Heather did 4 of my tattoos. Her line work is clean and her art is beautiful. Her style is definitely more on the spooky or horror side and thats one of the things I love about her. Her station is decorated to match her style with drawings that shes done and other cute little decorations. If you love spooky/horror themed tattoos, she can get the job done amazingly. If you arent, she can still give you a tattoo you will love. She has also designed two of my tattoos for me when I gave her some ideas and I absolutely love them. I gave her some inspiration pics for the planets with flowers in them and she came up with a design I loved way better than the inspiration pictures. I cant wait for my next appointment with her next month!Pictures are ones shes done on me.

DEFINITELY the BEST place to go if youre looking for honest, hilarious and talented professionals. My friend was pierced with Matt & my friend & I got tatted up by Mark Drizd and let me tell you I have recommended both of them to all of my friends looking for a place to go. They are extremely great with explaining the process along with showing you sanitation rituals right in front of you. Extremely clean and I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Mark was amazing and patient with us two girls that went back and forth on what we wanted along & gave us honest opinions on what he thought he would produce best when it came to placements and such. Truly amazing. Go here, they rock! You wont be disappointed.

Absolutely the best place to go for a piercing. Matt takes every extra effort to make sure you have the safest, cleanest, and most correct piercing. Theres a big difference between someone who does this just for a job and someone who is passionate about it. He uses the highest quality material and is active about continuing his education to stay on top of his game. I moved out of state but plan to come back next time I visit!

Number one tatto shop in florida hands down, the artist I went with was Steven baruth he did a portrait of my dog I had to put down and it came out amazing!!!

I went into the shop yesterday and was extremely nervous. I have previously had my septum pierced before and it was a nightmare. The piercer didnt know what a sweet spot was and payed no attention to the fact that I have a deviated septum and didnt follow an antiseptic protocol. My friend also went with me to get hers pierced, and he repeatedly poked and prodded her nose for about half an hour because he couldnt put the jewelry in. However, about a week of having a ridiculously crooked piercing (the barbell was huge and was more in my right nostril than my left) I took it out with confirmation from another piercer that it was the worst septum he had ever seen.But after about a year and still really wanting it, I heard about Matt. I went in nervous and left with a beautiful and symmetric piercing. He was EXTREMELY clean and made me feel really comfortable, he even took the time to explain to me why he was doing everything and the process he was going to take to do the piercing.The shop is also very clean, and modern, and extremely professional. I also appreciate that Matts room was private, so if you plan on getting a more risqué piercing, its very private! I strongly recommend coming here, even if you have to travel like I did, it is worth it!!

The tattoo parlor was really nice and clean! Everyone I talked to there made sure I was being helped. My artist in particular (Steve Oker) was really nice and thoughtful. Matt is an amazing piercer! Hes comfortable to be around and easy to have a intelligent conversation with about your piercing. I Got my tongue pierced today and it didnt hurt or feel uncomfortable (until after the swelling lol) Plus he doesnt use clamps so even better . Id highly recommend to anyone and everyone

I decided on this shop because it is the only shop in the Tampa Bay area approved by the Association of Professional Piercers, which oversees piercers in the US and tries to educate the public on safe practices, hygiene which I love. There are so many piercers who have absolutely no idea what theyre doing.Matt was able to point out that my navel piercing had been done way too deeply into the skin and thats why it kept pushing the piercing out which is good to know. He actually knows what hes talking about, and is knowledgeable about aseptic technique and takes the time to educate his client. I already know about aseptic technique due to being in the medical field already, but it was refreshing to see a piercer who actually takes the time to educate themselves.Matt was also very friendly, professional, and took the time to discuss options with me such as size, placement, and he even can change the color of your jewelrys metal through anodizing which he does completely free of charge when you get pierced by him. I had my industrial repierced and he helped me choose some gorgeous jewelry and colors! I will definitely be going back in the future!ETA: as for the shop itself, you can feel and smell how clean the shop is. Everyone there is extremely friendly and professional and I felt totally comfortable walking in and talking to everyone. They also have nice artwork on the walls and slideshows with portfolios of their tattoos to look at while you wait. All the tattoos I saw there look amazing as well and am definitely looking to get my next one here!

I couldn’t say more good things about Billy Toler, the shop owner and the artist who created a beautiful custom tattoo for me. He was so kind and hospitable. This was my first large tattoo and he was very easy to talk to, not at all intimidating as some shops can be. I have another session to finish and I’m looking forward to being there again!

Josh Presley is AMAZING!! My little sister was in town for 4 days to tour colleges and I decided to surprise her with sister tattoos. Josh not only fit us into his schedule and came in early for us but he took our idea and turned it into an amazingly well thought out piece of art!! He helped discuss placement and where the design would work best and in the process of tattooing he discussed ideas with me for reworking some pieces to be able to form a cohesive sleeve. His line work and dot work is impeccable and as others have said, I too am convinced Josh is on his way to being one of the best in the business at it. He does mostly dark tattoos but he was more than happy to oblige to my basic requests! I can’t recommend this place highly enough. This was only my second tattoo that I’ve gotten and my first in Florida so I didn’t have much to go by other than online reviews. This is compared back home where I knew a lot of people with personal experience with that particular artist. In this case I was a little nervous choosing a shop and an artist but went for it. I got a back-rib watercolor lavender sprig tattooed by Steve Oker and I’m so so happy with it. Steve was awesome and moved with a swiftness and confidence that assures you he knows what he’s doing. This was also great because the pain was minimal too. The shop was absolutely immaculate and everyone was professional and courteous. I highly recommend Steve Oker and Night Owl.

Yes! Just went on a spur of the moment nose piercing. Ive had two sets of dermals before years ago, and talked to Michael about my past piercings. I stopped in one night to pick up a new earring for a helix piercing I already had and to ask some questions about a daith piercing I was considering. Before the night was over I jumped in on the daith piercing and now I am hooked. My new piercing looks beautiful and is healing perfectly. I dont think I can recommend Matt highly enough and I personally will not get a piercing anywhere else from now on. Thanks Matt!

Matt is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions, even those I knew were a little ridiculous. He made me feel at ease and addressed all of my concerns. He even hummed Hallelujah as he pierced my septum, which was actually quite comforting. I had a horrible experience when my ears were pierced and was actually quite nervous, but after my experience with Matt, I am actually seriously considering additional piercings!

I only went to get a piercing and omg this guy is beyond clean! I’ve had the same thing pierced an un-Godly amount of times and all have gotten infected except with this guy, I think his name is Matt Feck. Price point is a tiny bit on the steep side, but I’ll pay almost anything to avoid an infection and quality jewelry. I’ll never go to anyone else in regards to a piercing. Listen to what these people say about cleaning and never worry about an infection again. (Sorry I also showed off my boob in front of your shop, I wanted to take a picture with my piercing in front of where I got it)

The colors are amazing and the next day I didnt have a bed full of ink all the color retained!Definitely coming back and recommend steve to everybody!!

I’ve had tattoos done by Trevor and love the work. Had a appointment set and tried multiple times to reschedule. I feel like I just kept getting played. Been wanting to get this done for a few months now and just couldn’t get responses back after he canceled on me.

Had a terrible experience with Steve Barruth. He took money to do a full sleeve and disappeared for a month. totally unresponsive. Couldnt take calls, call back, or even return emails. The other artist in this establishment may be great, I wouldnt know. I do know I would never let him start a sleeve b/c it might take him 20yrs to finish it if he is ever around.

Matt is awesome. On a recommendation from a very close friend in the tattoo industry; I wandered in to look at some jewelry (and he has a LOT of Jewelry - be prepared to be wowed) and ended up getting the Medusa piercing. Matt was awesome from start to finish; VERY knowledgeable. When you get a piercing or body mod; you really want it done by someone who really loves what they do and takes it seriously; everything from YOUR health to what they consider an Art Form. Thats the feeling I got from him. If you are going to rock a piercing that HE does; he wants to look just as good as you do bc his reputation is important. The Philtrum piercing didnt even hurt. Im truly impressed with the whole experience start to finish (and Im not stranger to piercings and microdermal implants.) When I add to my collection I will not hesitate to go back and see Matt.

Im going to preface this by saying that Ive been pierced fifteen times, by a handful of piercers, and this was by FAR the best experience Ive ever had.I went to see Matt for a piercing, deciding to give my tragus another go after healing a keloid from a prior piercers attempt.From start the finish I was thoroughly impressed. His jewelry selection is the finest Ive ever seen. Ive been to shops with neometal before, but never with the quantity and selection like his- plus the other fine jewelers and pieces. We talked for a bit, and settled on a real nice three bezzle cluster. He anodized (changed the color of the titanium) it for me right then and there. He then took me to the back, where he explained the process from start the finish. Why he did this, how he did that, and so forth. Every time he touched packages or his tray, he switched gloves. Made sure I was ready, and then quickly and smoothly pierced my ear. Jewelry went in, and all along this he made sure I was feeling well. Afterwards, even though he knew I had several other piercings, he made sure to go over clean care- and told me things I had ever been told before!All in all- most professional piercer Ive ever had the pleasure of being pierced by.Ill no longer go to anyone else, even if it means I have to make the two hour drive from my university!tl;dr- Matt is the best piercer, dont go anywhere else.

Overall awesome experience! Super clean shop, and really friendly staff. Had my daith pierced by Matt who made the whole process a cake walk. They have catalogs from jewelry companies like BodyGems and Tawapa, so youre able to order some beyond amazing pieces that they may not currently have in the shop. I myself order The Three Ring Circus piece from BodyGems for when I can downsize my daith. So if youre in the market for amazing high quality body jewelry, and an extremely knowledgeable and overall awesome piercer - look no further than Nite Owl. Cant recommend this shop enough.

So decided I wanted a PA re pierced. For anyone who knows how much that is supposed to hurt knows my hesitation. Being from out of town I was even more hesitant of going anywhere. Really disappointed. I reached out to 3 different artists via their “preferred” method of contact and I have not received any responses. The first message was sent over a month ago. This place had great reviews and I was looking forward to using them, but it’s hard to get tattooed when no one will respond to you.

Tried to call before just walking in but I couldn’t get anyone to answer. When I walked in there was nobody there at the front desk so I waited around.. 5 minutes pass.. 10 mins okay ??? Are they even open lol I overheard people talking in the next room so I poke my head and asked if someone could help me. Guy told me that they don’t take walk ins which was cool he told me to go on Instagram and reach out to any of the artists to book and when I did that mind u with like 5 of them only 1 responded back only to then leave me on read lol what a joke.

The receptionist was very nice when I called to ask if they take walk-ins and if anyone was available today. Mark was very professional and helped me find just the right front for my tattoos. I definitely recommend this shop!
