Stigma Ink Tattoo Studio

I came to stigma ink for the opportunity to get my very first tattoo. They gave me great customer service and told me to look on their site for an artist. Through the site I found an artist whose work was very well detailed and consistent his name is Eugenio. Eugenio was very cooperative and kept me up to date with everything. I came in and got my first tattoo done his service was amazing we even cracked jokes together and related on a few things I would recommend him to everyone.

Eugenio does AMAZING WORK!! Very nice and professional. I highly recommend going to him if you are in the Tampa area. Even if you aren’t in Tampa he is worth the drive for a great tattoo that you will cherish for the rest of your life.He is extremely light handed. This was the most painless tattoo that I’ve ever had. He serviced me and my girlfriend both as walk-in clients and got straight to work.Thanks Eugenio for the amazing and very detailed work!

Incredibly professional and friendly! First time having a piercing done, and Leo was very much a, Measure thrice, pierce once kind of guy. Gave me time to check the markings before he started the piercing as well. Really easy to have a conversation with during the process, and had great advice/directions for piercing aftercare.Ill definitely be coming back for my first tattoo and future piercings✌️

Trent was AMAZING. He’s tattooed my bestfriend and she loved her tattoo, and now he’s tattooed my sister and I with matching avocado’s and they’re amazing. Walked in on a limb and decided to get a Helix piercing and my first tattoo. I loved my experience with Charlie. I specifically wanted something really small and simple that had meaning to me. He came up with a quick design and I loved it. I was super comfortable and confident. I am already planning my next one. Which will be way bigger lol. Thank you Stigma Ink!

Trent was so awesome! He was very easy to talk to and made my tattoo experience amazing! He was down to earth and very patient with me. He had to redo my stencil three times because I kept changing my mind and he was very understanding. He took his time with my tattoo and it came out amazing! I would highly recommend Trent.

It’s been about 2 and 1/2 weeks since my tattoo was done. I’ve been giving it time to heal to see if anything would change. The first photo is right after and the last couple are now. Ink did not stay, and not because it didn’t heal right but because the artist did not go deep enough. The main reason I’m making this review is because I paid $300 in total for what is circled in the photos, the sparkles where actually diamonds turned into sparkles, it was $250 for service and $50 for tip. I spoke with another artist who did my husbands tattoos at that shop and was told it’d be another $50 to fix, nothing against him. Overall bad quality for high price.

I seen a tik tok for VCH piercing and decide let me google someone local and when did only three shop offered in tampa , when i seen a stigma i knew i would go there because i had my nipples pierced and tongue there and knew the work quality was great . I reached out and was put in the books asap and brought my friend as a walk in and they were able to do a tattoo for her . Well i was already a bit nervous since it would be a male piercer and im female but LEO was amazing and put my nerves at ease so much that i added my back dermal and belly button piercing and LEO did not tell me he didnt i have time as there was 2other customer , he said okay and took his time and was very ocd with the placement. All three piercing VCH , dermal and neely were quick and nearly painless 3/10 . I cannot wait to go back for my christina and nipples with LEO . Thank you Leo and stigma :)

Kind staff. Speak English and Spanish. Hours are correct online. Called prior to coming in and the staff was also kind on the phone. They accept walk ins. Of course was not busy at the time I came in.

Eugenio did an absolutely amazing job im in love with my new tattoo. Eugenio took my boyfriend and I as a walk in and immediately got to stencil out our ideas into exactly what we wanted it to be. He was super patient and really friendly he stayed past the shops hours to really put in great detail into our tattoos. Hes also a spanish speaker which was nice 10/10 would recommend anybody looking for a tattoo artist in tampa area! Gracias Eugenio! We will be back :)

I saw Will, @graphite.artistry (Instagram), for a custom tattoo. He had drawn the tattoo prior to my arriving just off my ideas. When I got there, he had no problems making a few adjustments to make sure I got exactly what I had been picturing. I love the tattoo and the line work is pristine!! He was great to work with and even though I am from several states away, I will be back.

Eugenio did an amazing job on my first ever tattoo. He was patient from the beginning of the process to the end. Highly recommend him if you’re looking to get some new ink. Thank you Eugenio!

****Update***** Santana has his own shop now Santana Tattoos ********I cant say enough of great things about this place and the people that work there!! Chino is the owner and one coolest people ever! He pierced my daith, talked me through all the things I needed to know about it, and took his time and precise. Santana is my tattoo artist and has down a couple of my tattoos. He is very passionate about his work!! He wants to ensure that he captures exactly what a person is thinking before any work is done. Even with all my complicated thoughts, he takes the time to understand the concept that I have for the tattoo.

Got my piercing here with Leo and barely felt it. He has soft and gentle hands, would recommend, and will definitely come back. 10/10👍👍👍

I received an amazing tattoo from Will (ig: @graphite.artistry) at Stigma Ink yesterday as a walk-in. Despite not having an appointment, Will was incredibly accommodating and made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I was expecting the rib area tattoo to be very painful, but thanks to Wills skill and expertise, it was surprisingly comfortable. The tattoo itself exceeded my expectations, and I couldnt be happier with the result. I highly recommend Stigma Ink and Will for anyone looking for an awesome skilled tattoo artist.

I went here 3/12/22 for a small tattoo and I was really excited. It is now 3/21/22 and as my tattoo is peeling, almost all the ink is coming off my tattoo, despite my efforts to care for it. But my one-star rating mostly comes from when I called the shop, they immediately went to blaming me for my lack of care. It was explained that I did all the proper care and it seems as though there was an issue with the ink, they continued to make excuses and tell me it wasn’t possible their ink was the problem, because it has never happened to anyone else. They did offer for me to come back in to the same artist to fix it, but I declined. Why would I come back to have the same artist use the same ink? Will NOT be returning. Checked out reviews before we decided to give this place a try while on our vacation and we were not disappointed! Everyone was so friendly and the 2 artists we seen Eddie and Eduardo did awesome tattoos and they were so personable! We told them what we wanted and we got exactly that! So proud of our Florida tats! If we ever visit Florida again were definitely booking an appointment!

Visited with my friend to get piercings. Leo pierced my other nostril and it was so quick and less painful than my other one! He had great conversation, was super nice, handled well. He pierced my friends eyebrow and she said it was very painless. Our piercings have been healing good after a few days now and don’t hurt. I will be coming back here for further piercings!

I came to stigma for a piece that I have wanted for a long time. Ill be honest, I was a little apprehensive because the tattoo artist available at the time spoke no English. Turns out that made no difference at all. The rest of the guys at Stigma stepped in and translated so we could communicate. David Noy knocked this piece out of the park! Hes polite, professional, detail oriented, and takes pride in his work. The end result is everything i was looking for and more! Ive been to this shop twice. I got helix piercings about five years ago and I went back in today for some additional piercings. Theyre a tad pricey for an ear piercing, but totally worth it. You are paying for the professional service which is excellent. Both times I went they were very clean, and precise, even using calipers to guarantee placement. You wont get that at a piercer with a gun, which is already sketchy. My piercer today even warned me that what I was asking for was a little non standard, and when I explained that I knew that and it was still what I wanted he was great. I really appreciate the attention to detail and that they offered professional advice. I will absolutely go again if I want any more work and will continue to recommend them to people.

Love coming here! I have had a few piercings and jewelry changes done with Leo who is always professional andinformative. I’m super squeamish and he always does a great job of making me feel comfortable. I’ve had two tattoo sessions with Charlie as well and he always has a chill vibe and his art never disappoints. Can’t wait to come back!

I have a Medusa piercing that I lost my gem to and I found this place to go get a replacement ball from for the meantime. They were so sweet and so nice. The guy who helped me seemed to not speak much English but that doesn’t and didn’t bother me at all because of how professional he was and how clean they were. They also offered to order me any jewelry that I may find. I will definitely be back here when it’s time to get a new tattoo or piercing. All around seems like a great shop. Thanks so much, Stigma!

I came here years ago to get my noes pierced and I just absolutely loved the vibe. Everyone was so inviting and professional, also the shop was so clean which is always something I look at. I just new I had to come back.When my daughter told me she was ready to get her ears pierced I already knew where I to take her.She was nervous at first but then she met with Leo. He made her laugh and walked her through the proses and answered her questions. By the end of their conversation, she was ready! He made her so confident! He was quick and painless. I booked an appointment with Carlos to get a tattoo done that i’ve been wanting for the longest. When I walked in the gentleman at the front desk was really nice. Everyone working there seemed really nice and professional. Carlos did amazing job on my tattoo and made sure I was okay through the whole process. He makes sure that his work is what you envisioned on getting. I totally recommend booking with him. He answered all my questions and had a great vibe the whole time I was there. He did an amazing job on the butterfly and the vine that goes around my arm. I’ll definitely come back again.

I came in to have my sternum surface piercing checked out. I had it done years ago but I liked how Rem’s surface piercings looked on instagram so I messaged him to ask if he’d mind looking at mine and possibly changing the jewelry. Turns out mine was rejecting and done incorrectly back when I got it (not at this shop), off center and in a not preferred location. He took a look and was able to re-do it in more centered and lower and with the proper technique and jewelry. He took the time to be very detailed and focused to ensure it was where it needed to be and make sure it was done properly with consideration to the previous piercing and staying completely professional and considerate to the area he was piercing. 10/10 I found my go-to shop! ❤️❤️

*Update* June 2022I’ve been coming here for all my piercings since 2018/2019.Just got 2 new ones with Rem & super easy & quick.Rem explained everything to me and made great conversation. His voice is relaxed & calm throughout the entire process.I had an old piercing that closed & he advised me to wait & after his explanation I decided to listen to the professional. I’ll be back in a few months for that one!Oh yeah Chino still cool AShA friend of mine recommended Stigma Ink to me when I was looking to get my ears pierced. She told me to ask for Chino and I’m glad I did. At my first appointment, Chino explained what he was doing every step of the process and made sure to show me what I asked for and confirm that is what I wanted. I really liked that. And if he had any issues and had to do a different process he let me know and explained why.That experience brought me back to get my other piercings done over the last few months. I’ve worked with Mec who also takes care in his work. He explains everything and always offers good conversation.The environment is friendly and prices are good for me. They have definitely earned my support as a customer and I will continue to choose Stigma Ink as a first choice for piercings.

I just wanted to say, that I had an amazing experience at this shop. Most tattoo shops I’ve been too in the past it was always awkward coming in and no one saying hi or even asking if I needed help. At this shop, the very minute I walked in, I was greeted and felt at ease. My piercer was really easy to talk to and I could tell he had done this for a while. I’ve had multiple piercings done here and once I figure out what I want tattoo wise, I plan on coming here. I would check the shop out on IG and also my piercer Rem The Impaler.

I had Rem and he was amazing my piercings feel fully healed, although I know they still have time. Very informative I strongly advise anyone looking to get a piercing to go to him. He is worth the drive I drove 3 hours away for this service.

Ugh. I’ve had the unfortunate experience of getting pierced by Chino TWICE and both times he botched them. My cartilage has not healed in the nearly2 years i’ve had it, since he pierced it with a hoop instead of a stud (causing embarrassingly huge keloids and frequent flare ups); my left nostril was placed too low which I found out when I went to Rem at DC Society (at the time), who said it wouldn’t be even because the place Chino pierced it was the most painful and asymmetrical place to put it (btw Chino, Rem said this before I said you did it. He didn’t know it was done at Stigma, only that it was done wrong). Chino was also a very unmemorable piercer, as he made no conversation and no attempt to reassure me or go through the process of what these piercings would feel like/healing/very short aftercare info. By the end of both piercings, he was basically rushing me out. I felt like I was just a mannequin giving them money, rather than a person being pierced by a professional.With another piercer, I’ve never had any problems with keloids or slow healing. Only with Chino.Please do not come here if you want your piercings to be done correctly.

Gave top notch customer service and showed perfection with their craft! Rem treated my wife with the utmost respect and showed caring and professionalism to the tee! David executed my tattoo far beyond my expectations. I would 100% suggest anybody to this tattoo studio. Also the next time I am in the Tampa area I will be returning for additional work! I had Rem as my piercer and he was great! I got my nipples pierced and did not feel uncomfortable at all, the room was private and he was very sanitary and made the process easier. I have a very low pain tolerance but he helped me get through it and put a cold washcloth on my head when I felt woozy. My friends that came with me liked him so much they decided to get their own piercings too!! If you’re thinking about getting your nipple pierced, do it!!

I did a double foward helix with Rem! He was super kind and made the whole experience 100% better! He talked me through everything he was doing. Very professional but still very down to earth. Highly recommend!! I love my piercing so much!

I dont normally leave reviews but this time I just had too , a few days ago me and my sister went to get septum piercings and my sister also got a dermal , not only are the piercings doing amazing but also the whole experience was great , our experience with rem was just awesome , someone who knows how to make you feel comfortable , explains everything you need to know and also makes you laugh through the whole process. Spontaneous walk-in to get a piercing, chose the shop based on Yelp! reviews which I rarely do, but I just moved back to Tampa and this is my first piercing in the area. Walked in after Taco Tuesday and met Charlie - shop has a cool vibe, everyone was personable. Overall a really comfortable experience, he was super laid back and thorough, addressed all of my questions/concerns, and even took the time to entertain my uncertainty. Prices are reasonable, will definitely go back for whatever piercing ideas pop into my head. Leaving room to add another star ;)

I called on a busy Saturday for a walk in. I was spontaneously on vacation and just really wanted a small tattoo. I called and was told everyone was busy but someone would call me back if they became available. Got a call about an hour later and was worked in. Charlie was amazing. He was very friendly and even chatted with my daughter, who was excited to see me get a tattoo. The ship was clean and a good vibe. Charlie even took the time to explain about how ink doesn’t hold well certain places so I offered to move me design (I wanted a finger tat) to another spot and he wouldn’t let me, he made sure I could get what I originally wanted, it was really awesome to be treated so nicely and just a very good experience all around. I’ll be coming back for sure, as I visit Tampa frequently.

My boyfriend and I got 1 ear and 2 nipple piercings all by Rem while visiting here. By far the best piercer we’ve experienced, def over 5 stars!! When I got dizzy from my piercings, he immediately turned on a fan, got a cold washcloth for my head, gave me a sucker, and made sure I laid down. Gave us his contact info to reach out incase of an issue, even when we’d be going back home across the country. Super professional & made us feel comfortable. TDLR; I highly recommend Stigma Ink. Professional, affordable, friendly, and sterile.I was very nervous about getting my first cartilage piercing and wasnt sure I was even going to get one, even as I walked into the store. The staff was great at calming my nerves without feeling pressured. Charlie was my piercer and he is awesome!!! After walking me through the whole process, he constantly checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable. He was super meticulous when handling the equipment to make sure everything was sterilized, which was a huge difference from what my friend or I saw in other piercing places. He was really knowledgable and had great aftercare tips. Apparently, if you twist your cartilage hoop piercing a few times when you clean it (after you take a shower because the cartilage softens and makes it easier), theres a significantly lower chance of infection.The process was quick and easy, and Im super glad I decided to go with Stigma Ink. It was super affordable and Ill definitely come back, next time Im in Tampa and ready for a new piercing.

Ive been going to the shop for a long time now. The level of professionalism and the cool environment will be hard to find anywhere else. Everyone is talented and have more than enough experience to teach you something new every time you come in the shop.Piercings: Just recently I got done several intimate piercings with Chino, again I cannot say it enough that the level of professionalism and the experience definitely put me at ease with both piercing sessions. He is very talented and did a great job guiding me through cleaning process and healing time. Those type of piercings can be a bit uncomfortable especially if you think the person doesnt know what they are doing; definitely not the case here. I would not recommend anywhere else for you to go get pierced.Tattoos: The majority of the tattoos that I have I got them at Stigma with Santana, I will not go anywhere else. The passion for the work truly reflects in the art, seeing the excitement in a person when they are doing something they love to do definitely makes you want to keep coming back.Long story short: I loved my experience there and you should definitely come by and check it out for yourself.

Great place to go to. I got my daith piercing here a few months ago and went back this weekend for a tattoo. Kyle did an amazing job with the design I requested, I wanted a combination of 2 pieces and he drew out exactly what I was looking for, with amazing detail. Ive gotten so many compliments on it. If I decide to get another one, Ill definitely be going back!

Charlie was phenomenal. Great natural artist. Provided several sketches quickly that brought my concept to life in a few minutes. He was very open to adjustments and we had a final template in a short time. As mine was a large tattoo he took his time to ensure good coverage with a steady hand. Very well done.

I was nervous going in to it but all the staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. My design itself was beautifully done by the artist, Carlos. Ive came here alot for piercings and my expierence with rem everytime has been just amazing , for my most recent bridge piercing done by him i followed his aftercare advice and ive never had a easier healing expierence! Hes also super insightful and passionate about piercing.

Rem did a fantastic job on my cartilage piercing. Everything was very sanitary and my friend and I felt comfortable the whole time. I have a low pain tolerance and he helped me afterwards by putting a cool paper towel on my forehead to make sure I didn’t faint. I’ll definitely go back to get another done by Rem in the future.

I went to this shop because I was having issues with a cartilage piercing I got done in a different shop. Chino, the owner of the shop (whos also the piercing artist) assisted me and I couldnt have asked for a more patient, knowledgeable, and helpful person.He answered all of my questions and didnt make me feel rushed at any point. He also explained why I was having problems with my current piercing, helped me pick out a new earring, put in the new jewelry using sanitized tools, and then recommended a specific ointment and oil to help speed up my healing. Aside from him being really welcoming, the shop looked very clean and had a nice, friendly atmosphere.Ive been to a couple of reputable tattoo places, and this was definitely the best experience Ive had. I really recommend this place, and I plan on going back for any future piercings!

Charlie was very unprofessional. Made an appointment more than a month in advance. Had to reach out multiple times about making sure my appointment was secured. As my appointment got closer, never reached out to ask what kind of piece or design I wanted. The day before my appointment I tried to cancel because Im not going into my appointment blind without him even asking what I want. I have a lot of tattoos. When I make an appointment, even a month advance, they have something drawn up for me. Not Charlie. Then he stated he didnt have time to text me all day? Why is it my job to keep reaching out when Im the customer and want satisfaction. Lost my deposit. Got all the texts to back up my review. Dude is bogus.

Kyle has been tattooing me for 4 years now and he has given me nothing but excellent work. He is more talented than you could ever believe. He will always go above and beyond expectations. Not only is he an amazing artist but he is also an amazing person. I have been lucky enough to get to know Kyle over the past few years and truly admire him. I can’t recommend him enough! I wish I could keep him all to myself but I know that he is too amazing of a tattoo artist to not share. Book with him today!! No regrets

Today I got an industrial piercing done by Chino and I couldnt be happier!I came to the shop as a walk-in (which I try not to do) and the woman stationed by the front desk was extremely accommodating. I am heart-pressed to say that I didnt catch her name but she had short green hair.After signing the appropriate paperwork, I was greeted by Chino and taken to a station in the back. My session started off with him THOROUGHLY explaining all that goes into the type of piercing I was about to receive. He even explained to me his specific method for giving the piercing as well as all the appropriate steps Id need to take for its aftercare.The piercing itself went down without a hitch! Just a small pinch and a warm ear was all I felt. My industrial looks phenomenal! Chino kept up pleasant conversation the entire time and cleaned up the area for me after. I could not be more pleased! I am considering two more future piercings and will definitely return to Stigma (and hopefully Chino) to have them performed. (:

Rem was super professional with my vch piercing. Ive been to other shops and had negative experiences so I was a little apprehensive. Rem took the time to explain to process to me and show me everything that would be involved. All of the jewelry and equipment was packaged and opened in front of me. I highly recommend him for all piercing and will be back for sure.

My husband and I received tattoos from Charlie last night. My sister in law came In with us- had him draw a super small tattoo for her- he didnt listen to what she wanted- just traced the inspo photo. My husband and I got our tattoos and paid for them. She wasnt comfortable with the vibes and decided not to go thru with it. He literally chased us out of the shop and had a heated debate about us paying for his time (on her behalf) before letting us leave because he wanted us to pay for the drawing he did for her. That wasnt on us. It was super unprofessional and really bad vibes. Would not go back.

Ive visited this place a few times. Once to get a piercing by Rem and again for a tattoo by Carlos. Ive had good experiences each time and I love how welcoming everyone is. Will definitely visit again in the near future!

We went for the Friday the 13th promotion and had a blast. The lady behind the counter was friendly and really made you feel like your a repeat customer. Charlie was the artist that did my ink work. Charlie is a cool dude to talk to. For a 31 dollar tattoo I was pleasantly surprised at how good it came out. Ill definitely be back for more work in the future.

I was a mid day walk-in. I wanted something to commorate my trip to Tampa.Telly took me right in and came up with and idea we both liked. Great ratio place. My girlfriend has had 2 new tattoos there, and wont go anywhere else in the state. This was after she spent months shopping around for different artists to find one rushed really liked. I dont have any tattoos, and dont plan on them myself. But she stuff she has gotten here has looked great. The employee are chill, and the prices are good, great experiences here so far.

I took my daughter in today to get her septum pierced. Rem took such good care of her. Talked her thur everything. She was nervous but she said he helped calm her down. Very professional and friendly the whole staff.

Rem was an extremely patient, helpful, and professional piercer that eased my nervousness and put up with my incessant chatting. He pierced my nipples and walked me through the process, from start to finish, and also provided thorough aftercare instructions. The process was totally sterile and he made sure to use new needles, sterile material, and did all of the appropriate gloves changes and post-piercing clean-up. Its been 3 days, Ive had zero complications, and they look amazing.

I have known Telly for years, but finally got my first tattoo from him the other day. It was my first large piece and from the sketch to the final product I was amazed with his artistic ability. I highly recommend if you want an original piece, describe the key features you would like and let Telly use some of his own artistic touch. The whole staff is professional, the facility is clean, and their work is second to none. Highly recommend getting a piece done from these guys.

Carlos was amazing, me and a group of 4 other friends came in for first tattoos on our last day visiting Tampa just 4 hours before needing to be at airport. He was quick and designed all of our work great. Very professional and love the look.

Went in to get my vertical labret and was blown away. Rem is the most precise, friendly, cleanliest, and absolutely fantastic piercer I’ve ever had the pleasure to be stabbed by. HahaHe was extremely adamant on making sure it was placed in the absolute perfect position and was also extremely thorough in not only his explanation of the process but in execution as well. I will 100% never be going to another piercer again.

After my last session with Charlie Smith I left annoyed and decided never to come back. Sat and watched a tattoo that should have been put together before I got there have to be drawn up. Instead of sitting in a weird dirty little room with him watching him draw I sat on a wooden bench just to get alway. A 1 hour tattoo wasted my entire day, it took hours for Charlie to complete the design I wanted. He questioned me about things made me feel awkward, even more awkward when he found out I had a serious boyfriend. Just because I have an Only Fans page doesn’t mean it has be the topic of conversation. Only sharing this story now after learning my girlfriends experienced the same thing, it needs to end.(Update: It’s makes me feel even worse because it was personal, I changed my gmail account name to anonymous in fear of being harassed. So how would you who I am? Chino G, it’s sad you would come out as an owner with that kind of response to what happened. Please keep your gift card sir. I’m sure Charlie can figure out who exactly who I am by my story. Unless this something he does often? I have a platform with over 30k followers, i will now use it to warn others about your shop)

Stigma Ink is such a welcoming place. I was really nervous to come in but after today I will be coming back for future tattoos. I was a walk in and Eddie took me right away. He made sure I liked the size and quality of my tattoo before starting. Very profession and I would totally recommend to people looking for a great tattoo place in Tampa.

Got a septum last week from Leo, was reassured many many times he knew what he was doing, he then proceeded to absolutely butcher my septum piercing. Which I didn’t realize until I got home, but it’s way too far back and insanely crooked. Leo didn’t say anything about it and just let me leave not knowing how bad it is. (He also reccomended a terrible cleanser that notoriously gets piercings infected) Unfortunately I signed a Waiver so they aren’t responsible, but literally never go here (or atleast to Leo) if you’re looking for a good piercing. He said he was 20, why someone with that little experience is piercing people’s bodies is beyond me but whatever.

Rem was an amazing piercer. He’s extremely knowledgeable not only with piercings but aftercare as well. He was extremely detailed and thorough. Hands down the BEST piercer I’ve been to. 10/10

My friend and I came into town for a girls trip. Tony hooked us up by coming in during closed hours. Not only did he get us in on a short notice but he was awesome. Honestly had the best experience here! Walked in and started chatting with Chino and decided to get my nipples pierced. He thoroughly explained how to take care of the piercings and also made the process super quick and almost painless. Definitely a must when it comes to getting any piercings! Chino wont let you down and hes a super fun guy to talk to!

I am visiting from out of town. I am from Kansas and I have not really enjoyed getting tattoos there. My experiences Ive in general felt like a burden or like I was bothering them. But I called this shop. Asked if there was anyway they would do a walk in. They were so kind. I was a little nervous when I started my Google search for a new tattoo artist in the Tampa Bay area. I only had one rather large tattoo on my right forearm and was looking for a specific style of roses to get on my left forearm to feel balance out. When I came across Stigma Inks page and viewed their artists work, I got really excited. John had a rose in his portfolio that was almost exactly what I wanted.They responded to my email inquiry very quickly and after a brief but positive conversation with John about my tattoo idea I had an appointment for a consultation on Saturday. It was like I was a kid waiting for Christmas!My mom and I were pleasantly surprised by how friendly the people at Stigma Ink are and how clean the shop was kept. I instantly fell in love with the tattoo John had drawn up for me and we decided to go ahead and get it done. We had originally decided to just do the outline work and then I would come back for the color later. After he finished our first session I decided I couldnt wait 2 more weeks to have the finished product so John went ahead and colored it that same day. Everyone we met at the shop that day was so professional and friendly. I received many compliments on my tattoo while we were in the process and I continue to receive compliments on it daily. The line work is so clean and it is unreal how saturated the color is. And dont get me started on the pearls, lol.I have recommended and will continue to recommend Stigma Ink to anyone who will hear it. Charlie did my nose piercing.only $35 (pretty much the cheapest in tampa) he was so friendly, the whole atmosphere was great and they made me feel so comfortable. really kept me in the loop as to what he was doing and the care i would have to be doing afterwards. would definitely recommend and be returning !!!

I got a tattoo done with Carlos Valdez, I told him in advance I made a mistake with the time of my appointment, was only 15 minutes late. He said he would work on the design the day of, then he was very rude when I asked for changes (I specifically asked for a certain size) then the third time he said it was going to be the last time he was making any changes (I only got through with it cause I really wanted to get my tattoo done that day). When I agreed to the design he asked if I was this demanding with everything in my life, to which I responded: Only with things that go permanently in my body. He said he was going to charge me $30 additional for all the changes (2) and for being late 15 minutes. The cashier said he could do anything cause he needed to charge me what the artist said. The tattoo is crooked to one side. Horrible experience!!!!

Both tattoos turned out very well. My artist, Telly, went above and beyond to make sure that my tattoo was to my liking. He was very skilled in creating a custom design that utilized superb 3D techniques and shading that created a lifelike final product. Once he prepped the area, he took very special care to ensure his gloves only came in contact with sterile items. Instead of being focused on the clock and profits, he was very customer-oriented and took the time that is necessary for creating a high-quality piece of art. The realistic, full color poppy flower tattoo he did on my arm looks beautiful and I get compliments on it daily. Everyone was really nice and friendly, when I got my piercing, I got lightheaded but they were really accommodating. The thing is, the piercer (no idea what his name is) pierced my industrial wrong and I cant wear certain earrings because the piercings are too close together. Really disappointed.

My artist was Eddie I came in to get Roman numerals. when we were talking about where I was going to put it he was touching me with his dirty hands. He had like green and yellow paint all over his hands and arms. When the tattoo was done all the lines were different sizes some small, some tall, some fat. It looks like a kid did it. He said he has all this experience but it doesn’t look like it. It was A weird vibe in there I will not be coming back

I have been to quite a few tattoo establishments and Stigma is at the top of my list when it comes to cleanliness, positive enviroment and friendliness of staff. Eddie is my preferred artist because he is by far the frindliest person I have ever encountered. When I say friendly, I mean really friendly. He is literally always smiling and seems to have an overly optimistic view on life. He not only worked night and day on a peice that was insanely intricate and detailed, but he also fed me someone elses empanadas while taking a break from the session. Great work guys! I have AND will continue to suggest and promote this shop because of the great work they do and the overall positive experiences that I have had so far.. KEEP IT UP GUYS!

Amazing place to get a piercing ! Chino is the owner and he was very welcoming and friendly , I got my surface Tragus and he used the correct piercing ( 90 degree barbell ) I am so happy and it looks super cute :)

I read the reviews prior to my appointment. I made sure my idea and wants were understood and after speaking further I became hesitant because I got the feeling my piece was out of what the artist Eddie was currently working on style wise. He assured me he had done that style for many years and was just more interested in abstract and artistic freedom rather than sharp lines and realistic blandness I trusted him based on previous work and his stencil (that was just a guide as he new he would have to free hand my half sleeve.) I voiced my concerns and was again reassured he would produce what I had wanted. I wish I had looked at his Facebook profile before going (I just saw it tonight as it came across my people you may know feed) because before I received a copy of my soon to be tattoo he posted it to his profile (Jan 1,2014 posting, tattoo eventually schduled for jan 19th) with his true feelings on the work he was being forced to do. I would have gladly taken my piece somewhere else as its permanent and Im having to have another shop finish it anyway to somewhat salvage it. I would not recommend this artist to anyone who has their own idea of what they want. Great drawings and if you want a abstract style piece he may be your guy but hes dishonest and shady and regret commissioning him.

You would think somebody with “20+ years” of experience wouldn’t be so heavy handed and blow out every line on my girlfriends tattoo and I also believe with “20+ years” of experience their shouldn’t be any scarring on such a small simple piece. Not only did we get taxed on something so small and simple but now shes stuck with a poorly done tattoo.Cheap needles, over priced poorly done tattoo, and blown out crooked lines that look like gummy worms👍🏽

Got my first big tattoo here while vacationing in the Bay Area . The staff was really accommodating helping me get a appointment set up with only a days notice. Eddie Riveria did my tattoo and he was a pleasure to be around bc he carried on a conversation with me and was checking on me throughout the session to make sure I was okay. He was quick too and my tattoo looked outstanding and didn’t disappoint one bit. I recommend anyone in the area get their next tattoo here.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place late last Saturday night...Great customer service from EVERYONE in the shop, clean place, enthusiastic artists...all around great shop! My husband got one piece done Saturday and went back on Monday for another...they do great work and I would recommended them to anyone who wants a tat in the Tampa Bay area!

I recently went there to get my nipples repierced and was nervous beyond belief but the staff made me feel comfortable through the whole process because I had it done once before somewhere else and it does dont go well, they were kind and great.
