Devoted Ink Tattoo and Piercing

This was a long time waited review. First off this place is very professional. Ive had tattos in at least four continents of the world and this is definitely in my top pick. Rob was amazing with the sketch I brought to him and he made it come to life on my arm. He was very meticulous and chill about it. You couldnt find a more dependable and friendlier staff. They will also accommodate your schedule and will work with you. I will always refer people back to this place. Thanks Rob and the devoted ink crew!

Came here today with my friend to get my first tattoo by Allison. she was VERY sweet and super supportive. i’m a little indecisive and nervous since it was my first tattoo but she was super understanding and patient. the young lady at the front desk was also super kind and the atmosphere was phenomenal. super relaxing experience!! will definitely go again :^)

Allison barnett is awesome! this is my 2nd tattoo from her and shes always been so friendly and attentive to detail. she makes sure each step of the design process is perfect for you, including sizing and placement of the tattoo. shes an amazing artist!

Got my first tattoo from Chris; honestly, I couldnt have asked for a better artist. Really chill, nice and eased me through it so well.I really appreciated the service and the work!

Overall experience was absolutely amazing! We didnt have an appointment and they were out when we came by with a sign up to contact, which we did. They immediately contacted me back with all the information needed. Hannah was able to come in within minutes which we didnt expect! Hannah was able to put my daughter at ease for the piercing and make it a calm and fun experience for her. The place is extremely clean and sanitary. I would definitely recommend this place!!

I got my nose pierced a couple of days ago by Hannah and she was the sweetest ever!! she explained everything thoroughly and made sure i was comfortable, i can tell she definitely cares about her clients and i love how thoughtful she was, everything was super clean and the piercing was super quick. 10/10 would get a piercing here again!

I was at this shop in July for an appointment with Allison (@applebarnart on Instagram). She was absolutely lovely, my appointment went great, and the tattoo came out amazing! The shop has a great atmosphere, everyone I interacted with was friendly and welcoming.

I got a beautiful tattoo done by Nina Richards recently. She’s a phenomenal artist with a great personality and an exceptional level of professionalism. The whole vibe in the shop is great and all the artists and the owner are really nice. They don’t treat you like an annoying inconvenience when you walk in, like at some other shops. Also, I appreciate the fact that they require you to digitally answer a questionnaire before the appointment, thus helping to safeguard the client and the artist. Overall, it was an awesome experience and my tattoo from Nina is my favorite one that I have now.

I just located this shop on Google because I needed to find a piercer for my daughter. She wanted an ear piercing, and the women at the front desk were absolutely amazing. Their energy, their kindness, and their welcoming of us made me comfortable with what I needed done. Hannah is great at what she does, and I would recommend her as well as the rest of the artist!!

I love Devoted Ink! I have gotten four tattoos here in the last two years. Everyone in the shop is very helpful and personable and I always feel comfortable there. I am heavily tattooed so Im familiar with shops, and I definitely recommend Devoted Ink to anyone in the market for a piercing or tattoo.All of the artists there are extremely talented and professional. I have had work done by two artists there: Eric and Barb. I am so happy with my tattoos! In my experience both Eric and Barb create colorful, vibrant tattoos that heal beautifully. They were both very accommodating if I needed any changes to my tattoo or if I needed a break or anything. 10/10 great people and great artists.

Had a great experience here getting a very last minute piercing during my day off without kiddos! We called 5 minutes away to inquire if they had an opening first and got lucky!I got an industrial re-piercing, but not in the same holes. Consent forms were digital and speedy. Hannah was friendly, detailed and explained their piercing process, reviewed best placement, and healing directions. Also got an educational sheet with those directions printed which was helpful. Of my whole busy day this was the smoothest and quickest process I had! Would totally go again!

Shop is super chill and clean! The artists are all amazing, courteous, friendly, and dope!!! I’ve been getting tattooed by Barb and seriously she’s an all around dope vibe! I have been able to translate my ideas to her and she delivers amazingly! Her art and abilities are superb. She makes the entire tattoo process chill. Her light hand helps as well!!! All around great artistic soul and would recommend her to anyone looking to get some work done.

This post has been long over due! I cant thank Nina enough for the work shes done on me. I had been following Nina for some time on Instagram ( @Ninarose_artandtattoo ) and have always loved the work she has done. I finally reached out and she responded in good time, shes super kind and patient. I gave her an idea of what I wanted and she definitely met expectations! I have already gotten tattooed twice by her and Im already scheduled for the next one! I highly recommend Nina and honestly anyone in the shop. Everyone there is super chill and really talented :)

Got an industrial and 4 lobe piercings at once. Went on a whim and was able to be squeezed in as a walk-in. Hannah was great, she explained the process and care in detail. She was super friendly and very attentive, checking in with me in between each piercing to see how I was doing. She opened fresh equipment in front of me without me asking and frequently switched gloves which I appreciated. Its been a week and all of my piercings are doing great, no sign of infection and the tenderness and swelling is nearly gone.

I had an amazing experience getting my tragus piercing! Hannah was extremely sweet and let me know what she was doing the whole time and how it would feel/sound. This was my first piercing aside from my basic lobes, so I was nervous at first, but I felt better when she told me to take deep breaths. She also told me everything I should know about this piercing and they gave me a paper on the aftercare. In addition, it was very affordable for me! I don’t think it could have gone better!

Nina does incredible work! She truly is an artist, and shes so professional and honest every time I see her. Currently working on a shoulder sleeve with her, but Ill definitely be coming back to her for many years to come. Her books fill up fast but she is 150% worth the wait!! The shop is also kept very clean and has a great open design, definitely the most welcoming shop Ive been to.

Hannah was amazing! My little one had her earrings in way too tight from the previous person who was handling her earrings and Hannah was able to get them out and put cute little ones in. She was so good with her and did a great job. Thank you so much!

I came into the shop with a clear idea of what I wanted and expected, all I needed was the talent to turn it into a masterpiece. Nina at Devoted Ink did exactly that. From the very beginning Nina took the time to listen to what I wanted and she gave feedback that was supported by experience. Nina went over every detail of her design for my tattoo and made sure I was completely okay with every part of it. When I wanted to make changes, she was very open and thoroughly explained how the changes would affect the overall design. She takes pride in her art and it shows! On top of being extremely talented, Nina is also compassionate and interesting (which is important if youre going to be sitting for multiple hours!). Nina was also gentle and very hygienic. I couldnt be more satisfied with my experience and with my permanent artwork. I definitely feel like the price of my tattoo was reasonable and fair. I will definitely be coming back to see Nina.As far as the shop itself, it has a very cozy and welcoming feel. It is nicely decorated and clean. Would I return if Nina wasnt there? Probably not. Im sure there are other fantastic artists there, but once you get tattooed by Nina theres no reason to see anyone else.

The shop as a whole has a nice calm vibe. Very welcoming, clean. I got a tattoo from Nina and it was by far a great tattoo experience Ive had. I had a great experience at devoted ink. Nina was the sweetest! Very patient and gentle. I had an idea of what I wanted and Nina came up with an idea that was so much better! I was so impressed with the design, and it was executed flawlessly! I cant wait to see it healed! I will definitely be booking another appointment with Nina.

Hannah was amazing. Fitted me in last minute. I had a bad experience and she made me feel so much better and left happy. It was quick and now my nose piercing looks the way it’s supposed to.

I went over to devoted ink today and got a small piece done by Chris Phipps. The shop was easy to find and very cool once I was inside. It was clean and everybody I met was very friendly. Chris was very helpful in finalizing the details of my tattoo and has a light hand. I am extremely happy with the outcome and will definitely be back for more. I also spoke with Rob about doing some touch up work and finishing another piece that I have, I would recommend Rob as well. It is refreshing to see a tattoo shop that has good morals, values and treats you like family. Thanks Devoted Ink, you will be seeing me again.

Best shop I’ve ever been to! I first saw Nina in 2018 and will never go to another artist again. I’ve now received 4 tattoos from her and couldn’t be happier! She, along with everyone in the shop, are super cool and down to earth; they make the experience so comfortable! Nina is an outstanding artist and has transformed my ideas into impeccable works of art. Even my friends and family have started to go to her as well and have said the same thing! Check her and the shop out, you won’t be disappointed!

I have never been to a shop like this one where you feel genuinely welcomed the second you walk in the door. The staff is so friendly and the place is very clean which is so nice. Rob is the BEST! He turned my piece I wanted done and made it a million times better and I am so beyond happy with it! He takes pride in his work and it shows in everything he does. I went in to Devoted Ink Tattoo for a belly button piercing and was extremely nervous. Hannah did my piercing and was the sweetest. She took the time to walk me through the aftercare and answer all of my questions. Everyone in the shop was so friendly and made me feel at ease. Hannah even gave me her info. to message her for any questions I may have. I definitely recommend this place for piercings and for a warm, clean, environment with staff who make you feel extremely comfortable and fill the place with good conversation.

My husband and I both have gotten almost all our tattoos done here by Rob. His work is so clean and beautiful! I have a black and gray sleeve (still in progress) and 3 other tattoos by him, one being a large piece on my back. On my back, I originally wanted black and gray cherry blossoms, but he convinced me to trust him with doing color. Im so glad I did! It is such a beautiful tattoo because of that decision. Then later on, when I was starting my sleeve, I gave him a very broad idea I had for it, and he took the reins and made it his own unique piece of art. I get complements on it at least a couple times a week! I now live in a different state, but I will definitely travel back for the rest of my ink eventually, because I wouldnt want anyone else to do my tattoos!

Best tattoo i have received. The owner was amazing!! Tattoo started to get painful due to the location of the tattoo and i was having a hard time. I got a tattoo at Devoted Ink a few days ago. Rob did an amazing job!! Ive already gotten quite a few compliments on it already. He really took the time to understood my vision for the tattoo and helped me to clean it up a bit. The end result was a fantastic tattoo that was exactly how I wanted it to be. The shop was really clean and all the other artists there were extremely nice. I have many tattoos and Ive been to many shops, but this was the first place Ive been to where the conversation wasnt riddled with profanity. It was...refreshing. Just in the hour or so that I was there, you could just tell these are really good people. Ill definitely being going back for my future tattoos and Ill definitely be recommending Devoted Ink to all my family and friends in the area.

I scheduled an appointment with Nina and I can say i had the best experience. Her and I clicked immediately and she was willing to do whatever it took to make sure i loved the tattoo!! She has the steadiest hand and i don’t know how she does it, but it’s amazing! The result of my tattoo was better than I hoped and I can’t wait to get more tattoos from her :)

Went with my daughter today and what can I say, Matt was fabulous! The staff was great and the place was so clean. My daughter received a cross with flowers. The details of the cross and flowers is outstanding. After Matt finished with my daughter, her friend was so pleased on how her tattoo turned out, he decided at the last moment to get one too, sparrows, one on each leg, which is also amazing. The one Star is for the tattoo artist and their lack of professionalism. I had an appointment awhile back with an artist who I had been too a few times before. The night before my appointment he messaged me that we need to reschedule due to issues with “baby mommas family.” No worries life happens. After that he totally went ghost and a few weeks later I messaged him asking to reschedule. Then he says he can’t because hes booked a few months out. Still not a problem to me I can wait. So we rescheduled for a later day in about 2 months which I was ok with. Now that I’ve been waiting a few months and its almost tattoo day, once again the artist goes ghost and I never hear from him again nor was my deposit returned. Used to love this spot but since then I have been taking my business else where.

Working with Nina was such a pleasure - I can’t wait to get back in her chair. She was so patient and willing to work with me on design and placement. She’s honest about what she feels good about tattooing and what she would rather refer to another artist.

We recently discovered Devoted Ink while on the hunt for a new tattoo shop, and I will never go anywhere else! The shop is clean and welcoming, and the artists and piercer are completely awesome. I have had a few tattoos done by the amazingly talented Nina, who listened to my rambling ideas and created some beautiful pieces for me, and made the experiences both pleasant and fun. My boyfriend had a cool tribal sleeve done by Johnny, and it turned out seriously awesome. My daughter had her ears pierced by Hannah, who put her completely at ease, and was professional, friendly and sweet with her. We couldnt be happier to have found this shop and will be coming here for all our tattoos and piercings!

I decided to get my first tattoo recently ,so I did a lot of research to make sure I got the best tattoo possible. Almost all of the reviews for Devoted Ink were very positive, and for good reason. Everyone in there was extremely pleasant and they made me feel very comfortable. All of my fears about getting a tattoo quickly vanished. The artist that did my tattoo, Johnny, was awesome! He stayed and continued to work on my tattoo even after they closed . Even though mine is not totally finished yet, it looks awesome! I really love it and wish I would have done it sooner! I definitely plan on getting more already and will only use Devoted Ink!

Best first experience! Both the shop and my artist Nina, set standards pretty high. Derek did an amazing job and his work was clean and precise! We were a little nervous about our first tattoo on the wrist but Dereks steady hand and confident skills put us at ease. Wanting to do our due diligence, we pounded Matt with tons of questions about the quality and safety compliances of his facility and he was patient to address all of our questions and concerns...all of which met our expectations made us confident that we had chosen the BEST tattoo shop out there. People have accused me of being picky, and those people are not wrong. I was fortunate to have an artist who was very patient, very detail-oriented, and very talented. Nina created an original realism piece for my back/spine, and from the artwork, to the placement, to the tattooing, to the after-care attention, I felt like Nina was equally invested in my satisfaction as I was. She is clearly only interested in creating art that will work in its location, size, design, and permanence, and her experience with and knowledge of color, light and shadow is evident in her results. Her work is stunning, her demeanor is professional yet congenial, and I can assure you she is worth the wait.

Matt did my tat and I LOVE it so much better than I ever imagined. Derek did my boyfriends tat and it looks phenomenal. Both were touch ups that needed lots of T.L.C. and we walked out so happy that we are coming back with friends and family. The shop is clean along with the music and posters. Very friendly atmosphere and knowledgeable guys they made sure we knew what we had to do to take care of them!

My friend and I got a piercing with Danielle and it was about as good as getting stabbed can be! Danielle is so lovely and kind, you feel relaxed around her immediately. She is very knowledgeable which I appreciated because Ive been given some bad info from piercers in past. Will definitely come back to her in the future.

I got my ears pierced here and I had a wonderful experience. My piercer, Hannah (I hope her name is spelled that way), was wonderful. She was able to answer my questions about the new piercings and my helix piercing. She helped reassure me and was very kind. Thank you very much for everything!

Taryn is an amazing tattoo artist. I had kinda an idea of what I wanted and she was able to design my rose tattoo. It came out beautifully. Im amazed at what she did. I love all the highlighting and colors she chose. This place is clean, bright, everyone was so professional. I felt very comfortable there. If I was to get another tattoo I would return to devoted ink.

Love the 2 piercers, did an amazing job with my anxiety.Havent really met any of the other workers except for the lady that was up front(dont know her name)But after getting a piercing you may be a little bit loopy and as I was paying she was giving me attitude about exchanging a larger bill for smaller Bills. They did let me leave without asking if I was ok(felt like I was going to pass out)But other than that the piercers are awesome!P.s. as I was waiting in the waiting room the tattoo artists were talking about people who they had just worked on, In my own opinion I definitely think its unprofessional to be so loudly belittling your previous customers, especially in front of new customers. And making remarks on your customers appearance.

I went to Matt @ Devoted Ink about a month ago to fix a tattoo I got at a recent convention earlier in the summer. I always drove by his place in Ynez and one day, I figured, its worth a shot. Ive learned with the tattoo culture that nothing is quite as it seems, and the artist is someone you have to trust very quickly. My first impressions of Matt and his place were outstanding. Devoted Ink was clean and inviting and my trust was earned. After I explained that I wanted to add an anchor, Matt ensured me that once he was done, itll look like it was part of the original piece.When he was done, I could not have been so pleased! Not only did he deliver on my expectations, he exceeded them by miles! Matt and Devoted Ink has a return customer and I have already recommended them to others. Best part about them is that they have a religious over tone that I dig. If you are thinking about a clean and confident place to get ink, this is your only stop.

This shop has a very friendly atmosphere. I just got my ear pierced by Hannah, who did an amazing job. She talked me through the whole process, and spent a good amount of time finding the most flattering spot for the jewellery to sit.

Very clean place, the service was awesome and the staff were down-to-earth and very friendly.The funny thing is, I had no work done on me. My friend went in last Friday to get her septum and the girl that does the piercings was very chill. Even though it was a short wait (nothing bad about that, btw.), the shop made me actually take that final step to get an actual tattoo. If you want a custom tattoo, done by a true artist, in a clean shop with a great atmosphere then youve got to go to Devoted Ink. Ive been in and around other shops and this is by far the best experience Ive had.After searching the IE for good shops and consulting with some artists I came across Devoted Ink. I had to consult with them over email and phone at first due to them being 45 minutes away but they were very helpful.When I met with the artist, Derek, he did a great job of talking through my design ideas and we came up with a design that far surpassed what Id planned on. He drew up the art based on photos (not generic flash) had me look over it (it was great) and got to work.Because Im busy and I live farther away he was willing to get it done in one sitting. 11 hours later I walked out with two tattoos that I am very proud of, that my kids love (they represent them) and I get compliments on all the time.

I have been looking for a good reputable tattoo shop when, Devoted Ink was recommended to me by a friend of ours from Centerpoint Church,he described the GREAT experience that he had, not only the experience but it is a Christian shop with Christian artists. The shop was spotless, the staff was welcoming, it was not dark and dreary shop, GREAT atmosphere nothing better than being around God loving people. BOOK WITH NINA!!!Considering that this was my first tattoo, I was very new to the world of ink and felt very uninformed. I knew one thing and one things only; what I wanted and where. However, I struggled to find an artist who’s style and technique matched what I was looking for. That was, until I came across Nina’s portfolio. I decided to walk into Devoted Ink and speak to her directly about what I wanted and what she thought of my idea. Within 10 seconds of meeting her I knew she was the artist I’d been searching for! She gave me such insightful comments on the piece I had showed her for reference and immediately assured me she was confident we could craft something remarkable. I booked my appointment that day and returned a couple weeks later for my tattoo. It was then that I was able to see the original piece that Nina had created, and I was floored! It was beyond what I was expecting and I could instantly identify how much time and effort she put into crafting something so unique and fitting to what I had envisioned.Throughout the session, Nina made the experience so fun and personal to the point where I had even forgotten she was in the process of tattooing! She also made a point of showing me the progress throughout the session so I could see the transformation from the second I sat down in the chair to the second I stood up with the finished piece.I could not be more pleased with the way my tattoo turned out and I have made the decision to turn the shoulder piece into a full sleeve. Of course, I’ve asked Nina to do it exclusively because her talent and work emulate everything I want for the progression of this incredible tattoo.However, mere words do not do her work justice. I strongly urge anyone reading this to contact Nina about any piece you want or may be considering. You will not be disappointed!!

I just wish someone will genuinely reply my emails about a tattoo appointment. I have sent emails of what I will like get done. Called several times for over 3 months now. Last time called I spoke to a girl on the phone she said someone will get back to me. She Took my email and number down but I still haven’t heard a word. Being a customer who have gotten work done here last year. I am pretty disappointed and will be taking my money somewhere else.

I always pass by Devoted Ink and decided one day to follow them via Instagram. I loved the work and seeing all the different types of tattoos that were being done. I ran into Danielles page and saw all the piercings she has done and how satisfied everyone looked with their greatness. I decided to get a quote on a nose piercing and go in the following day. Walking in the place felt homie, the environment was clean and just felt nice. I listened as an artist spoke with some potential customers about what they wanted and looking for in their tats. He sounded super friendly and really gave full attention to the couple as they spoke about what they wanted. Danielle came out and she introduced herself and we walked to the back. I admit, Ive had tats done and the only piercing I have is my belly button so I was very nervous. But in speaking with Danielle, she was super friendly, charming and very informative about my nose piercing and what to expect during and afterwards. In talking with her, my nerves started to calm and I just felt super comfortable. I definitely look forward to going back again. My nose looks great Im stoked about it. I went with one of my good friends to get her first tattoo done, and the artist Matthew did an excellent job! Very nice people and very talented artists! Very dedicated to their work and can not wait to come back and get a tattoo done here!

Went in for a quote on a tattoo and the guy at the front desk was ridiculously rude and cocky and did not make us feel welcome at all. As we were walking out he made it very clear that his shop was so amazing that we couldnt just walk in and continued to say how high quality the shop was and why it was so important to schedule. Will NOT be getting tattooed here due to the arrogance, cockiness and downright rude behavior no matter how amazing their work is.

My husband went to this shop and got himself a trex tattoo which was amazing. After a tragic passing of my husband I decided I would get the same tattoo I reached out to the same artist and there is only one word I can say Jaw-droppingHe did the exact same tattoo 😭 I now can carry a piece of my husband everywhere I go. I had talked to 4 tattoo artist which all of them had no heart and no passion for what they do. when i came to devoted ink i talked to Matt and he should passion for his art and what he did. I loved the heart behind both artist they are both wholesome people who I would trust and trusted doing my tattoo. Rob is working on my tattoo and is vary fast and efficient he is a great artist.

I am more than happy with my outcome. i recommend coming before you visit any other shop. I will fly back from dallas any time i want a new one.

LOVE THIS PLACE!I wanted to cover up a tattoo I got in 1978 and Devoted Ink happened to be on my route from San Diego to Riverside so I just dropped in. Although Matt was tattooing someone he took a few minutes to do a consult. He looked at my old ink and after I told him what I had in mind he searched the internet and showed me some ideas....paintings, not other people’s tattoos. I told him I trusted him and we scheduled an appt for 10/10 (he is normally booked several weeks in advance).I arrived yesterday at 11 AM as scheduled, he showed me the painting hed chosen and after getting my approval he started setting up which took about 45 minutes.I spent the next 6 hours straddling a chair, chatting with Rob (the other tattoo artist) and Robs client, who was getting a Phoenix to support his wife who is battling cancer. Rob ordered pizza for us about 3 hours into it and also put something called Blue Ice on the work hed already done which made the next 3 hours a lot less painful.Before I left Matt provided me with an after care kit for $20 and a printed list of instructions.One thing I LOVE about Devoted Ink is their faith. They love God and it is obvious in the way they relate to people that that they live their faith. In the 6 hours I was there I heard phone conversations, consultations and the normal conversation that goes on between co-workers and neighbors in the strip mall they work with and all reflected the love of God. These guys are awesome.

My tattoo is a coverup. I really like the job well done from tattoo artist. He was very detailed and precise.

It had been 10 years since my last tattoo & although I forgot how uncomfortable they are Matt made me forget all about it by creating the PERFECT tribute tattoo for my wrist. Even though the tattoo was small, he made sure the sizing and stencil placement was spot on. I will be back for more and encourage anyone wanting work done to give this place a shot!

Made a $100.00 deposit, submitted my tattoo idea, spoke to the artist I chose (still works there) and had everything set up. Then, two days before my appointment, he tells me that I wasn’t able to get what I originally wanted; I could choose between picking another piece/idea or get my deposit back. So, I drove from Camp Pendleton to Temecula to get my deposit back. I reached their parlor and was denied my refund. I contacted my artist, telling him about the situation. He then asked me when my appointment was to which I replied in two days. He immediately says that there is a 48 hour cancellation policy, that my deposit was non-refundable because I was in that 48 hour window. Not once was this mentioned before. I find it odd that all of a sudden, despite our conversations, that there was a convenient cancellation policy that matched the exact time that I had to get my deposit back.I was really looking forward to getting work done at this parlor for reasons such as tattoo quality, high artistic skill, area cleanliness, and religious background. Ultimately, I was $100.00 short, had a Taco Bell taco (or 5) that told my stomach I needed to pull over at the next gas station, and had a heavy traffic ride back home. This was back in 2015, I believe. I’m still $100.00 short and have learned my lesson on eating taco bell on the road.Please don’t let me review make you think twice about approaching this parlor or the artists. They produce quality work and have one of the nicest shops I’ve seen in years. Just be vigilant on keeping in contact with your artist and your appointment.

Took my 16 year old here a couple weeks ago to get her nose pierced. Surprisingly very clean tattoo shop, compared to any others Ive ever been to. The piercer was very helpful with explaining to her how to take care of it & she did a wonderful job. Very friendly & professional lady

Do not go here!!! I went in there for a tattoo and after expressing my ideas, Matt, the owner told me that he would only perform my tattoo if I went with his ideas. Truly unprofessional. I went in there because he claimed to be a Christian brother, but his representation is embarrassing. He uses his claim to be a brother in Christ for business. Please save yourself the trouble. If youre not blank canvas, then he doesnt want to work with you.

I got my nose peirced here. I was so scared and nervous and Hannah made me feel better. We talked about it, and she made me feel a little less nervous. It did hurt but stopped hurting the next day.

My husband and I walked into Devoted ink 3 months ago to make an appointment for today. We told Matt we would like to come in June 15th at 1pm. He told us that it was his moms birthday but he could fit us in real fast since my husband was getting a ring tattoo and it wouldnt take long.2 months later we get a call from Matt saying someone scheduled us on his Moms birthday and he we needed to reschedule. Even though he was the one who had scheduled us on his Moms birthday when we went into the store. He then put us down for Wednesday June 12th at 5pm. Which we could not do because we would be on our honeymoon until Saturday morning. He expected us to leave our honeymoon to come back and get the tattoo because he did not want to do it the day HE scheduled us for 2 MONTHS ago!I was really upset so I called up Matt and told him we needed to be there on Saturday like planned. We would be on our way back from our Honeymoon and we do not live around here. He told us he would put us on the schedule for One saturday with a different tattoo artist. which was fine.Wednesday June 12th comes and while we are on our honeymoon Matt calls us and asks if we can come in at 3pm that day instead of five. So he did not reschedule us for Saturday like he said he would. I was pretty upset at this point. making an appointment should not be this complicated. But it is for these people. I told him I called and he told me we were coming in Saturday at one. He quickly remembered and said oh yeahhh. Then said we cant come in at that time but would have to come in at 10am Saturday.We leave our hotel room early in the morning to get to this devoted ink place 3 hours before our original appointment. We get there on time a little before ten and no one is there. We wait 20 mins until finally the closed sign turns to open. We walk in fill out paper work and then waited about 35 mins for the guy to set up all his stuff. Shouldnt it all be ready by the time we walked in?The guy at the front started talking about Matt and why he wasnt there today. Turns out it was not his moms birthday so they said but his birthday. Overall this place was a nightmare. They did not want to do the tattoo design my husband wanted because it was too complex. Even though we have seen tons of people with tattoos very similar to the one he wanted. They told him they could not Tattoo the insides of the fingers but then ended up doing that anyways.They didnt put a wrap on it or anything. And on top of all this. The price they told us 3 months ago was not what they charged. They charged 10$ more and added a .03% charge for using a credit card.
