Underground Ink Tattoo and Piercing

A few months ago i visted a friend and was tattooed and pierced by Josh. The overall experience was amazing. My friend and I got coordinating sun and moon tattoos. The line work was spot on and josh a pleasure to talk to while he worked. The next day we went back and Josh pierced my tragus which has been the best healing process ive had with a piercing to date. He even gave us higher quality jewelry free of charge just because hes STELLAR FELLAR. My next trip to twin I will definitely be visting to receive more work from Josh. 🖤 amazing art and amazing experience.

I don’t typically post on things but others should know…They provide an extremely clean and very comfortable environment. The staff is honest and friendly to work with especially to discuss an idea of mine. I waited years to find a trustworthy and talented place to take my idea next phase on my back and bring it to life while taking care of art I already treasure on my back. My art evolved to the next level with their expertise. Josh is an amazing artist with excellent line work and a fabulous skills with color. All are extremely recommended. I am fully impressed by the quality of service I experienced at Underground Ink. I am extremely picky about who I let do my piercings and was nervous that my ear would hurt like no other, but everyone there made me feel at easy. Josh did such a great job tattooing an original drawing a loved one did before they passed away. The lines are perfect and color is still bright. He also pierced my ear, it hurt of course when it happened but since then it hasn’t. Will definitely go to him again and highly recommend!

The best place in town to get any sort of work done. All of their licensing/certifications are up to date and the store is always clean and well kept. It has a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, always playing good music. Josh, the owner, is very nice, accommodating, and professional.I have had two tattoos done by Josh and he is very gentle and attentive. He always makes sure I’m comfortable with whatever he’s doing, from placing the stencil to the actual tattooing. When he did my first tattoo, he checked with me frequently to monitor any adverse effects. He also informs me ahead of time where there may be bruising from the process, which there hasn’t been. He is very relaxing to be around and has a very light hand. His work is incredible and he is extremely detail oriented. He is very knowledgeable and will offer his opinion on what he thinks will look best on you in regards to positioning, orientation, body shape, symmetry, future wear, and muscle movement.I don’t think I could have had a better experience getting tattooed anywhere and I intend to have him do all of my future tattoos. If I could give more than five stars, I would!

My sister is here from Indiana and we decided to get sister tattoos. We gave Alen just a rough idea of what we wanted, sent him some ideas, and he was able to come up with something we both loved. When we came in for our appointment, he was super nice and accommodating, and our tattoos exceeded our expectations. [I’ll be coming back to him for sure for more art].The facility was very clean, and I felt very comfortable there. Loved the staff, loved the service, and my sister and I both will be coming back for more. Highly recommend this place for great artists and a friendly atmosphere.

UPDATE: 3 years later and I still recommend Josh for piercings and tattoos!Josh pierced my nose. He explained everything to me before he did it. Showed me the sterilized needle and opened the packaging in front of me. Josh is on top of cleanliness and there’s no other local shop I’d go to. He went over after care instructions and what to expect. Highly recommend!

Great people, honest pricing, quality workmanship, and exceptionally clean equipment.I have a traveling tattoo on my back that I started before I joined the Military, it was an idea that I had as a way to take my family with me no matter where I go. Butterflies that represents each of my brothers and sisters as well as all of our children as they were born. Since starting this back piece 18 years ago it has had a lot of different people in a lot of different locations add to it... as much as I liked it and loved adding a new piece as my family grew I recognized that it didnt look cohesive. I went into Underground Ink to have it relined, recolored, and tied together as one piece instead of 19 individual pieces that happened to be near each other. I had Josh as my tattoo artist, he has done phenomenal work and I couldnt LOVE my piece more than I do now!! Even with all the challenges of my piece having been worked by so many different people over a span of 18 years, Josh made it look cohesive, have exceptional clean lines, and dramatic pigmented color.

I had a great experience at Underground. Josh, Alan, and Stuart were very professional while working with my friend and I. Plus the shop is super clean! Obviously piercings hurt but Josh was super knowledgeable about after care and was quick and clean making the overall experience great. Ill definitely be going back when I am ready for more ink!

Ive been coming to this shop for a few years now for my ink therapy and spur of the moment piercings, Josh has always accommodated my wishes for tattoos along with his personal touch and flare. Hands down one of the greatest tattoo shops ive ever been in.

Yesterday I walked in to get my piercings changed to plastic for an mri the owner was amazing. Today went and got my piercings changed to metal and stretched to the correct size, the owner was amazing. Knew exactly what he was doing and it didnt hurt at all.

Josh has done several tattoos of mine. Hes always a true professional. Clean, gives an amazing experience and fun to have to sit with for hours at a time. His line work and colors are perfection!!! I highly recommend:)

Recently got a tattoo by Josh in a tough spot. He was completely professional and cared about my comfort. He made sure I liked the placement and was happy with it before he even started. I let him do his thing with the color and it turned out better than I could of ever imagined and healed beautifully. I recommend Underground ink more than any shop in Twin Falls.

I came in for Daith piercings after 3 days of migraine issues. Other shops I talked to insisted on doing both ears, but Josh recommended only doing one to start. He is incredibly knowledgeable and professional.

I have had this particular piercing done other places before and they wouldnt heal. I gave UI a chance and had a professional excellent experience. My piercings healed. I have gone back for tattoos and things were done the way I had hoped. The shop is so clean it smells like a sterilized hospital. 100 percent reccomend.

And my sons 2nd tattoo And had all the patients in the world with my daughters matching mother-Daughter Tattoo. She has scars on her arm and it looks just as good as mine. Ren did my tattoo, and Josh did my peircing. They both did amazing jobs. Ren was so nice, she works quickly, but keeps everything clean and as painless as possible. It looks amazing, and is healing just like it should! Josh was really good about explaining what he was going to do, when I needed to hold still, and how to take care of it afterwards. Its a very clean shop, and easy to work with.

Underground Tattoo and Piercing is the best tattoo and piercing shop I’ve ever been too. As soon as you walk in you can tell how well managed and clean it’s kept. I’ve taken my daughters there to get their ears pierced because of the quality and cleanliness. I myself have gotten tattoos done and plan to go back for more! The staff at Underground are very personable and understanding they really make you comfortable.

Amazing experience as always. Went in to get my son a tattoo and I ended up getting the rest of my kiddos names done. Very professional, clean and warming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be going back to Josh for the rest of my tattoo work.

DO NOT GO HERE!! I got my first tattoo from him a little while ago and he changed the design completely, it still looked good but wasn’t what I wanted. He wouldn’t put it in the place I wanted and made it way bigger then I wanted. Then added color when I specifically said no color and added some. Also most of my tattoo has faded a lot more then it should have and did the lines a lot thinker then they should be. After that I got quotes from other studios on how much they would have charged me they said half if not less. He was not willing work work with me about appointment times and down payments even when thought I lived a hour and a half away. He said maybe 15 words to me my entire appointment. If I could do negative stars I would. Over all I got terrible service, over charged, and not happy with my results.

Had an appointment to get a piercing, the guy never showed up. Owner left as soon as we got there because “he didn’t want to be there when he (the piercer) was there.” When we asked for help in trying to get ahold of the piercer, the other staff went outside for a smoke break- leaving us standing in an empty building. Absolutely terrible experience.In response to the owners comment:Regardless of the relationship between the owner and piercer, the reaction was completely unprofessional. The owner not wanting to “deal with” the former employee shows complete immaturity. Despite the piercers failure to show, the owners response to the situation reflects poorly on the shop as a whole. How can costumers trust the shop when the owner is acting like a child? I am not trying to “bash” the business, as I 150% support local businesses, I’m trying to warn others of the unprofessionalism that was encountered. My aim is not to make your employees “look bad” or “not be able to feed their families,” if their actions and responses reflect poorly on them, so be it. The owner’s “day off” should not affect the way he treats people coming in or out of his shop. He is the owner, he continually represents his business. I’m not sure how I, as the customer, is at fault for posting an honest review or how things could have been dealt with differently on my end. Especially being as we were left in the building alone, waiting for help that never came.

Went in to ask about getting a tattoo I had been planning for a long time, the guy in the front was playing video games, payed no attention to me and when I began to ask to see work/ availability etc. He acted annoyed and continued playing COD. So I went and had someone who actually wanted to make a sell and act professional do it. Like thats what Id expect from a prank but it wasnt...

I got my tragus pierced here a couple months ago. i have quite a few piercings and this was one of the least painful ones!!

Josh is professional and can take an idea and make it a work of art. He is fully licensed (which isnt required in Idaho, so if youre from out of state, keep that in mind) and maintains a clean shop and sterile tools.

Was referred to Josh when I was wanting to add to my memorial Tattoo I have for my Father... Josh listened to what I was wanting and turned it into something very personal and something iam very proud of.. the shop was very clean and all the staff was friendly and professional.. definitely reccomend this establishment... and will return as well...
