We had a great experience at Permanent Marks Tattoo! Josh was great. His work was great and he managed to work 3 of my family members into his schedule. Thanks a million! We will be back.

Came in and wanted a seat turtle with my sons name in the shell ( 6 letters ). They closed at 12 I got there around 6:30. After he ( JC ) drew one up, I wanted to see another type of turtle compared. He took the time, took HIS time, and made it exactly how I wanted. After tweaking it 2 times he started working on me. He did amazing and I LOVE my tattoo. He did NOT disappoint. While there my mom decided she wanted one last minute too. The owner, Cody, got started on her right after JC started on me. He took the time to pitch ideas, redo it, adjust it, and make sure placement was perfect.We didn’t leave until 2:30 am. 2 and a half hours past closing. They continued taking their time and not rushing to finish and leave. We had a great experience with everyone there. They also have a lady in training that’ll keep you entertained while there for sure haha!! Price was amazing for the quality of the work, the amazing environment, and location!! Best pricing around. I will be back for a half sleeve and eventually full sleeve.

Havent had any work done yet. I brought in some pics & ideas of tats to be done and had an impromptu consult with Cody (owner). He was really nice and helpful. I will probably have some small pieces done there. Im still researching artists to find the right one for me.

Mark paid extremely close attention to detail. I got a very simple design, but he was passionate about making sure the placement was 100% perfect. He also talked me through the aftercare process and made sure I left with no more questions. His work was impeccable and immaculate. I couldn’t be more pleased! I’ll definitely be back.

Mark is absolutely the most professional and thorough tattoo artist I have ever worked with! I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone! His shop literally feels more like a doctors office Vs a shop however it’s still super relaxed and fun.

I just want to say that I’m sooooo happy!!! I got a back tattoo… so I had to have my shirt off and I’m VERY insecure!! I have never felt so safe in a room full of men while having nothing but a bra on…. Plus my tattoo turned out so BEAUTIFUL. I’m so in LOVE!!UPDATE: just go my second tattoo from them!! Once again, it was a wonderful experience and a very great environment to be in.

My husband and I decided to get tattoos last minute and Mark was able to fit us in. We chose this place because of their awesome reviews. Their facility was the cleanest tattoo shop that I have ever been in. Mark was quick, and gave us both exactly what we wanted. He made us feel comfortable and gave us both wonderful quality tattoos. We will definitely be using him for our future tattoos as it is important to choose someone trustworthy when getting something that will last forever! It was a 10/10 experience all around.

Me and my friends went one night and he took his time drawing out our own personalized tattoos and made sure we loved what we were getting! He cared very much about the quality of the tattoo and the cleanliness of how it was done. It was my first tattoo that I’ve ever got and I love it!! Love this tattoo shop! super clean and friendly employees.they by far have the best prices around and the quality of work is top notch.i have gotten several tattoos from there and plan on getting many more.i would recommend going to them for your next tattoo

Wonderful artist. Mark planned and drew out my tattoo. He took his time and did a spectacular job. The colors are beautiful and the tattoo has lots of detail for being so small. I would definitely recommend Mark to anyone. He is a very talented artist!

He did an amazing job with me and my boyfriends matching tattoos. He also did an outstanding job on my best friend first tattoo!! He’s our new guy we will always be going to from now on. His work is very professional and he takes his time to make sure everything is right. I do not recommend you go anywhere else in Tyler without trying him out first. His shop is very nice and clean and he’s very sterile with everything he does. He does everything in his power to make sure you like what your getting before you get it. He stayed 5 hours after close to finish our tattoos and that’s something a lot of artist wouldn’t do. Definitely recommend!!!

I dont know about Permanent Marks but their artist Tony Walters is the best in East Texas. The dude is legit and friendly priced. If you go there ask for him.... You will not be disappointed.

Just finished my tat and I love it!!! He does amazing work and puts 110% into ur tattoo. He makes sure its exactly what you want and that its one of a kind. He is the best!!! If u want your work done right go see Mark!!

“No such thing as a simple tattoo.” Obviously not for this shop. Paid $115 for my tattoo that was supposed to be a small cat sitting on a moon about two and a half inches on my forearm. It wasn’t even close to what I wanted. Not to mention the process was rushed and was super heavy handed on shading that wasn’t even supposed to be there. Should have gone to Lost Boys where I could have paid $50 for a well done tattoo.

I had such a great experience working with Mark ,he does such amazing work .I absolutely love my tattoo it turned out better than I was even hoping for , cant wait to get started on a new tat very soon ..I recommend everyone to go check em out ...
