I went here as a walk in and talked with John to see if he could work with my budget for a memorial tattoo for my Grandma. He got me in and worked up a custom design for me on the spot. His customer service was great (which was refreshing for a tattoo shop) and the environment was welcoming. We had good conversation which helped take the focus off of the tattoo “pain”. His work surpassed my expectation and I was super pleased with the tattoo memorializing my grandma. I would highly recommend you give this place a visit and talk to John if you need a new tat!

I had friends recommend this place to me, and they could not have been more right. I was a mid-forties woman getting my first body piercing, was a bit nervous about it, and worried I would feel uncomfortable and out of place in a tattoo shop. But Robert was patient, professional, and explained everything he did before he did it, in a calm informational manner, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable at every step. It was quick, and much more affordable than I had anticipated. I could not ask for a better piercing experience, and I cannot recommend them enough.

Wow what a crazy good experience. I had the pleasure of getting a tattoo from Jeremiah Harstfield. He’s a young man with an old soul. Very pleasant, funny, respectful and fun. He is an expert in the field of tattoos. His work is amazing, he isn’t heavy handed and he works professionally and efficiently. I highly, highly recommend.

Between the tattoo quality and just the overall atmosphere of the shop these guys are the best tattoo shop I have ever been too they are down to earth actually interact and get to know their clients I enjoy coming here and spending time with the guys.. the tattoo work is always on point and is always better than what is pictured in your head they are very talented and make sure everything is up to what you imagine....

I had my nose pierced here last Friday and it was the most AMAZING experience. I was terrified, but the process was quick and easy. Robert was super professional and knowledgeable. Definitely would recommend! ❤️

Robert was amazing with my piercings, he was very professional explained everything he was doing all the way through, gave me helpful tips. Jeremiah did my tattoo he was awesome he drew out exactly what I wanted he even added some suggestions to give it a little flare. All the staff was friendly and fun to talk to. This Definitely my go to for all my piercing and tattoo needs.

Got three different things pierced here in two visits. Both visits were by far the best and most professional piercing experiences I’ve had. Their clinical level of cleanliness was great as well! I had zero issues healing and little to no pain after either visit, nor during. Will be coming back for any future piercings.

12/29/23:Another stellar experience with Robert. He pierced my daughters lobes today and was so great with her. He explained every step, and even gave her a minute to shed some tears after the first one. Thank you!03/17/21:Robert is an absolute gem. I went in to have my septum pierced and it was the least painful piercing Ive ever gotten. I was very nervous so imagine my surprise when it was done and I hadnt come flying out of the chair. He explained every step as he went, and gave me stellar aftercare instructions. Its been about a week since I got it done and its barely sore now. All these guys are just amazing. Dont go anywhere else!The building and work areas were very clean. I could tell everyone here takes pride in what they do. 10/10 would recommend!

Cleanest and classiest tat shop I’ve ever been in. Excellent service and extremely talented artists. They have a special parking spot for veterans, which is really cool. My daughters and I have used Jeremiah in the past and are so happy we tracked him down at Resurrection ink. Go check them out!

Could not be happier with my experience. I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door, which unfortunately I have not experienced in most shops. John was kind enough to squeeze me in as a walk in even though he was busy. He fixed and added to a horribly botched tattoo that I (regretfully) went to another well known shop for. I could not be happier with my results. The lines are clean and beauty, the shading is impeccable and the design is well placed. I’ll be coming back for the rest of the art I want. A great experience for a walk in! Robert Musgrave was very patient with me in getting the right position for my piercing and did an excellent job! I didnt feel a thing. He also helped me with another piercing I already had and picking out some more jewelry. Very professional and very clean. Explained the whole process and aftercare and made sure I understood.

I took my 7 yr old to get her ears pierced. She did the 1st one and had the most mega melt down. The staff was sooooo incredibly patient with the hour long fit that came after. We left with 1 ear pierced and a gift certificate foe the 2nd one we paid for. We went to dinner and came back for ear #2. She got the second pierced no questions asked as soon as we asked in. Did like a champ too. I was so impressed I got my nose pierced with my niece. Did an amazing job. I would highly recommend them for piercings. Very clean. Very professional. Very, very patient. They will work with you.

I’ve gotten piercings and tattoos here and they are by far the best shop I have been to. It is very well kept and clean inside and the staff are helpful and kind. The tattoos are done with a very light hand and barely scab at all, super straight lines and the ink is so solid you won’t need a touch up appointment. Piercings heal easily if you follow the directions. I have never had any problems, or heard of any at this shop. Would highly recommend to any one of my friends or family!

I have gotten 5 ear piercings here and I would never go anywhere else! They are incredibly clean and I feel very safe. Robert does a fantastic job explaining each step and telling you exactly what he is doing as he is piercing. Again, I would not want to go anywhere else for piercings!

Got my ears pierced here, I’ve had them redone a few times before (different shops) and they just wouldn’t heal properly. It’s been about a week or two since I came here and it’s healing so nicely! Definitely recommend coming here, very professional. My piercer was very nice and informative. And I love how I was given a lollipop after it was done haha

The office and rooms are super clean,Robert was very friendly and explained step by step what he was doing as he was piercing my nose. He gave a very detailed process on how to keep the piercing clean afterwards. Ive never been to a more friendly shop and I 100 percent reccomend going to them!!

I’ve been here for several piercings and have been very pleased with the cleanliness of the shop and professional but chill vibes it has. Robert did an excellent job of keeping me calm but also making sure I knew what to expect. Will definitely be back when I’m ready for another one!

I needed help in getting some earrings out that had actually been stuck to the backing for....? I also needed help in getting a nose ring to replace the original piercing one. I did not want to go to the place I had had my nose pierced. I felt uncomfortable there, even though the people were nice. Resurrection Inks was a totally different experience! Robert was the one who helped me. He was so kind and gentle and patient. I needed a lot done, and he helped with everything. Even the music in the shop was soft and soothing. I wish I had gone there the first time. Highly highly recommend!!

John and Jeremiah are always wonderful. They work with me and my fiance with our time schedules. John has done over 10K worth of tattoos between me and my fiance. I will always use this shop and the artists.

I went there to get a tattoo today, or at least a quote, since its my birthday in a few days. I also wanted the tattoo to cover up another tattoo thats about a quarter size that I got when I was a kid. I was super excited since I havent been to a tattoo shop since 2012 and drove an hour to get there because I heard that they were the best around. As soon as I got there they opened and they have signs out in the parking lot that say to call before you go in and so I did. The fellow answered and I told him good morning and that I saw the signs that say to call before coming in (due to covid-19) and his reply was yeah? which was a bit off putting at first. I responded by asking him if he was available for a tattoo and told me to wait a few minutes as they were still setting up shop. After a few minutes he motioned me inside and asked what he could do for me. I told him Id like a tattoo of Thors hammer to cover up my other tattoo. The man pulled out a calendar book and told me that the next open slot would be next Tuesday or Wednesday. I told him Wednesday was fine and as he was writing it in I asked if I could get a quote and started to pull out my phone to show him a picture. He told me, before I could even get the phone out, that he isnt the tattoo artist and that the artist is busy at the moment so he wasnt able to get a quote but estimated that it would be between $200-$500 - all the while rushing me out the door. I was a bit puzzled and shocked. I wasnt planning on getting some extravagant piece but just something simple. I told him that I hope he has a good day and left to drive an hour home. I hope this review helps others. On the plus side they look very clean and professional. Maybe a bit socially awkward though.I thank you for your response but on your website it only mentions that if your tattoo is bigger than a deck of cards then you need to come to the shop to get a quote which I understand (even though what I want is smaller than a deck of cards). It does not mention that you have to schedule an appointment to get a quote. If it had said that then I would have called to set up an appointment instead of driving an hour only to be told that the tattoo artist(s) is unavailable. Thank you again for your response and your service (I heard yall are veterans and I highly respect people who fought for our country) but Ill just find another place to get a tattoo.

I came here with my sister to get a few piercings. The place was very clean and Quentin did a great job with our piercings. Came back a few days later to get a bad tattoo fixed on my foot and the owner did a great job improving my foot tattoo. He was quick, pleasant and had a great attention to detail and cleanliness. He also offered lifetime touch ups on the tattoo if ever needed. Would definitely return when in the area again. Very military and kid friendly.

Went in looking for a cover up artist and talked to Joe. I am very pleased with not only his work but also his easy going attitude. He was very helpful and has me looking forward to my next session. The shop was pristine and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend Resurrection Ink to anyone looking for quality workmanship.

Tried to get a tattoo from the owner John, He told me if youre under 35 and not Christian then you can have no opinions. On top of that his tattoo drawings were simply horrible. Seriously worst guy ever. All the other artists in the shop were really cool with awesome artwork. Wish I wouldve booked literally anyone else. Do not let John tattoo you

They are awesome, as always! My youngest daughter just got an industrial with Quentin and its beautiful! Joe is halfway through a Celtic tree of life for my other daughter and John re-worked one of my tattoos earlier in the year! Needless to say, we love Resurrection Ink! Wouldnt go anywhere else. Hospital clean/sterile, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Family friendly and everybody there has always treated us with the utmost courtesy and respect. Im not one to ever take the time to do reviews. Jeremiah Harsfield is one that has my respect for his service, passion, and his interactions with his clients. His patience, understanding and humbleness gives one comfort in knowing that their wants and needs are important. The young man deserves to be honored for his dedication. His talents went beyond my expectatations in the designs of my tattoos. If you need a tattoo, he will will make you feel comfortable, listen to your needs and wants and use his expertise to deliver and make it happen. I get ear cartilage piercings here. The price is fair. It’s a small shop outside of Tyler. The staff all seem nice. I haven’t gotten any tattoos here. Some of the pics I’ve seen aren’t fantastic. So I think I will stick with piercings. The guy who does them is great! He’s sanitary, and does things right!

These guys are top notch artists and VERY professional. It’s obvious they live and breathe art. I had an awesome experience here and will be returning for all future work.

I just got my Tragus surface pierced!! He did an Amazing Job. This was my second time getting something pierced with him. Hes a Real Cool dude and takes his time!! BEST THING HE KNOWS WHAT HES DOING!!! I would definitely recommend him!!

First Id like to say wow. This is the first time weve been here and we will be back. We walked in and it just smelled clean. Just an awesome clean smell. Robert pierced my ears for me and due to failed attempts in the past years, which left major scarring, he asked me questions to make sure I got the best experience possible. Which I did. I came in over a year ago for my first tattoo. I wanted to get an anime panel in all black. I showed the artist the panel and he told me he couldn’t make it “exactly” like the picture - which I had no problem with. However - rather than using a single needle for the lines, he used shading similar to traditional or neo-trad style tattoos. This was not the style I wanted at all. I’ve gotten multiple tattoos now from Stormy and Gio in DTX and all they do are anime tattoos. They’ve assured me getting a basic anime panel can almost always be near perfect as long as you use a single needle and have experience. The face of the character now looks smushed/warped because the artist used too large of a needle, and now I’m seeking to get this tattoo removed. I know the artist is reputable, and he was very kind. However, I wish he would have been more honest with me that anime panels aren’t his forte and to go somewhere else. So, if you’re seeking an anime panel, I would recommend going to one of the Dallas artists that specialize in anime. It might be more of a drive and cost more, but I’ve found it’s worth it to have an artist that specializes in that art style.This studio is very clean and very professional otherwise. I think if you’re wanting simple or more traditional- this would be an excellent studio to check out.

My husband Jeremy and I went and got matching wrist tattoos from John and are extremely happy! Ressurection Ink is family friendly, we had to bring our boys with us since our sitter fell through and they were very accommodating! Also, it is probably the cleanest tattoo shop I have ever been in! We have definitely found our new tattoo home and would recommend them to anyone!

A little out of the way, but definitely worth it! The shop was meticulous. They take great care in sterilization practices. Explained everything in great detail. Im feeling very confident that I will be returning for more body art later.

I walked in for my appt with literally nothing but an idea for my tattoo (no pics on my phone of tatt inspo or anything) and received an incredible, unique piece designed and inked by Joe. The other dudes at the shop were really chill and made the atmosphere really welcoming. I was in the chair for about 5 -6 hours so it was nice to be able to feel more like I was hanging out with everyone instead of just getting work done. I live about 2hrs away from the shop and will definitely be making the trip again when its time for more ink. The experience and the finished product was worth every penny and every hour spent there.

Very clean atmosphere and the owner is very polite and has answers to all your questions. Everything Ive seen that hes done its been beautiful. Hes going to fix a tattoo that I got for a memorial of my son and I wouldnt have nobody else to do it

The service was excellent,I got an Ashley piercing. Ive never had numbing put on before being pierce. It was quick and painless.

I’ve had my nose pierced before and because of school i allowed it to close up. I went to resurrection ink and they pierced it very well! A lot less painful and this time no bleeding. Hopefully all goes well in the healing process.

Showed up at 10pm and I thought they closed at 11pm but they closed at 10pm. The lady working the front took us in no problem. Very polite and the waitress was awesome. We had our food within 5 min. Food was real good

I have a friend who used to work here and unlike the staff actually is a christian and he has told me many stories of unproffesional behavior such as employees coming in his private space when he was doing a breast tattoo just to watch and make perverted comments making custromers feel uncomfortable so i do belive that the racial comments are probably happening in the shop personally i ouldnt go here after what he has told me

I was having issues with an old piercing and they made time for me to come in to get help. Swapped out my jewelry and were very helpful! Thank you guys!
