Rubis Piercing

Thank you Keith for a wonderful piercing experience! I got my second earlobe piercings reopened and Keith was so kind and informative throughout. He explained every step of the process along the way, showed proof of sterilization, and gave thorough instructions about aftercare. That evening I decided I wanted to switch the jewelry Id gotten, so I was able to swing by the next day, purchase new threadless ends, and Madison swapped them out painlessly in seconds. A wonderful experience all around, and I wont hesitate to come back!

What a lovely place! Madison makes you feel safe and welcome from the moment you walk in, and its so nice that the studio is private and the space so calming. I originally booked for several piercings, but Madison was able to safely re-open my old piercings that I thought were completely closed up. Even though she didnt end up actually piercing me, she was still super diligent with sterilizing everything regardless, so I know it was done safely! I felt really guilty for ultimately costing her time that she could have booked actual piercings, but she was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient with changing things up and letting me pick out new jewelry once I realized we wouldnt need to account for healing. Pricing was upfront and reasonable, and the jewelry selection is really nice too. :) I cant recommend Rubis enough!

Madison was super knowledgeable, professional, and overall wonderful! Her studio is absolutely adorable and her jewelry selection is pretty good too! She made me feel super comfortable the entire time, which is important for me as I have anxiety. I love my lobes and septum piercings!! She’s a bit pricey but for a first timer the experience was worth it.

My friend and I scheduled piercings at Rubi’s this past weekend and were so excited with the care and attention received there! A gorgeous selection of jewelry and they also do custom orders. Clean and adorably decorated space with privacy so you can be comfortable. Happy to discuss the placement of our piercings and work with us until we were happy. I would recommend this shop to anyone in the area!

Could not have asked for a better experience for my daughter’s piercing. She took the time to check in with my daughter through out the experience, provided fidgets to help with the piercing nerves, and was ESPECIALLY wonderful about educating her on how to clean and take care of it. (She even used a mold of an ear to explain!) Her suite is also so adorable, and added to the experience. Will be recommending her to everyone. For parents looking to a better, safer option than mall piercing shops, please check her out!

I came here to change my nose piercing jewelry and also ended up getting my helix and other earlobe pierced. Madison was super friendly and did a great job. I like that the studio has a very welcoming vibe. Ill definitely come here for my next piercing

Madison is such a gem! She genuinely cares about her customers and her art, and is truly a master at what she does. I followed her here from Luckys when she left and have absolutely no regrets. 10/10 professionalism, knowledge of her craft, bedside manner, literally everything. She remembers me every time i go in and is really sweet about making sure that i leave satisfied every single time. This time i had her do a jewelry change for me and didnt realize until shed already cleaned down that the back i brought in was too long, but she did not hesitate to swap it out for me and didnt make me feel bad about asking for what i needed. Truly the best!

I LOVE Rubi’s! The atmosphere is so inviting, cute, and cozy. I really enjoyed having a private area to be pierced in with such welcoming vibes! There was also an easily accessible parking garage for all of us who don’t like on street parking. Madison is an amazing piercer! She pierced my eyebrow and it came out AMAZING! I’m obsessed and have had no issues with it at all! I always listen to her advice on cleaning/maintenance and use the wound wash and aftercare instructions she provides. I have and will always go to Madison for all my piercings! Do yourself a favor and visit her studio! :)

They did my sisters first nose piercing! And theyve changed my jewelry for me twice in upper nostrils which arent easy. Ive also bought jewelry there. Very small shop with VERY sweet employees. I have 12 piercings from 4 different shops and theybe been the most inviting so far. HIGHLY recommend for anyone but specifically first timers

How did it take me so long to find this hidden gem? Took my 9-year old daughter to get her ears pierced and it was such a wonderful experience! This little piercing studio is tucked away in My Salon Suites in Watertown. Our piercer, Madison, was amazing with my daughter, carefully explaining every step of the process to her, and as well as all the after care on a fake ear, then had my daughter show her to make sure she understood. The studio is a private 1 chair studio, so it was quiet, perfect for the kids that might have anxieties triggered by noise or other distractions. To wrap up the whole experience, Madison offers a little gift to her junior customers to make the day a little extra special. To join the fun, I got my ears pierced too, adding to my total of 15 ear piercings (so my ears have really been around the block 😂). I couldnt imagine bringing my daughter anywhere else and am so happy we ended up at Rubis.

I had both of my lobes pierced here by Keith and he was great! Im pretty squeamish when it comes to needles but he was very supportive and made sure I was comfortable all the way through. He was also very knowledgeable and made sure I was fully informed about the whole process

I just got my Daith, I already had my ear pierced, she just put the piercing in for me, but I definitely want to go back to get more. She was so patient and nice, her studio was so clean and pink 🩷

Such a comfortable place to get a piercing. I hadn’t had the opportunity to shop small for a piercing before but the entire process was easy and the pink aesthetic of the shop was really cute. Everything was sterilized in front of me and care instructions were simple to follow. (lobe and conch pierced)

This is my new favorite piercer! A friend of mine actually showed me Rubi’s Piercing and I’m so glad she did! I’ve gotten my nose done, had my cartilage pierced, and Madison has helped me exchange jewelry in my ears as well! She is the best, very very knowledgeable of placement, the piercing process and healing stages. Madison’s studio is extremely clean as well. I trust her 100% with my piercings and plan on coming back for my future pieces! Her technique is so gentle and even when I was nervous about getting my nose done, she made the actual piercing process a breeze and it was such an easy and relaxing process. She is my only go-to now for piercings and jewelry exchange. I highly recommend her!

This is the place to take your child for their first ear piercing! Everyone was so nice, and really went above and beyond to make my child feel safe, supported, and happy. They make the whole thing a special occasion. Im thankful a place like this exists.

Madison was amazing. I flew in from Florida and needed my piercing removed because it was extremely uncomfortable. She fit me in without an appointment and didn’t even charge me!Office is extremely clean, the suite is located in an office building that has a lot of other businesses in it but she’s super easy to find. Studio art and lighting are amazing as well - highly recommend!!!

Rubi’s piercing is FABULOUS! I will never go back to Claire’s at the mall or anywhere else. My 16 year old daughter has gotten 2 cartilage piercings with Madison ( the owner and practitioner? artist? 😊). She is great! Very friendly and compassionate and comforting. And extremely fastidious and careful.I’m so glad we found Rubi’s piercing!!!

Came in for an eyebrow piercing, and I had such a wonderful experience at Rubis Piercing! It is a small, intimate space with a curated selection of jewelry. Amazing experience for my 10 year old. Very fun and super clean. Madison has all the tools to keep the piercing sterilized and is very conscientious on keeping her documentation straight. We came prepared with my daughters birth certificate and our IDs. The piercing went super smoothly and we were always comfortable. Bring your child in with no reservations this is a great environment for a first piercing or any piercing. This place is super clean and cute - think girly grunge fusion! Madison is also the sweetest person ever. She was very transparent and knowledgeable about piercings, sterilization techniques, and pricing. She provided advice on what combinations of jewelry would look nice which I took as Im really indecisive but wanted it to look cohesive with previous piercings I have. I love the double mid helix piercings I got! 10/10 would recommend and would go to her again if I get more piercings.

I had a fantastic experience at Rubi’s. She was very knowledgeable and generous! I was worried about an existing piercing I had and needed a professional opinion. She was more than informative on what I needed and what was going on. She further assessed me and corrected what was wrong with my piercing and offered her service for no charge. I insisted on paying something for her service and am more than happy to recommend her to anyone needing a piercing! Only going to her from now on!

I had a great experience during my visit to Rubi’s. Madi guided me through the process and provided with instructions for the after care. The atmosphere at Rubi’s is welcoming and soothing, Madi is very professional and personable, 100% recommend getting your piercing at Rubi’s.

My 18 year old nose jewelry slipped out and I lost it. I was able to make an appointment online that very day. The booking system was easy. The entire process couldnt have been easier. She was very patient with me while I decided on new jewelry, and answered all my questions well. Inserting was very quick and simple, I didnt feel a thing. Happy that I didnt have to go without a piercing for more than a few hours!

Our 5 year old has been wanting to get her ears pierced to match her older sisters and we got a recommendation to go to Rubi’s! When we arrived the suite was clean and everything was put together nicely, she made sure to clean and sterilize all equipment and worth gloves. Madison was beyond patient and made sure our little one was ready on her own terms. I love that she got her consent because as a mom of 3 girls thats so IMPORTANT!! Definitely worth the drive we took.

I came in for a consultation about 2 helix piercings and how to fix a lobe piercing that was a Claires hack-job from years back. We were able to get all 3 piercings done then and there. Madison made sure I was ok with the piercing locations, the jewelry I picked, and we got it all done very quickly after she sterilized everything. It was a great experience and this is the least painful my healing experience has ever been! 3 days later and practically zero soreness. (picture is from right after my appointment)

Madison is incredible! I stumbled upon her by accident this morning, made an appointment for a jewelry change for my septum, a downsizing jewelry apt for my trouble piercing & a mystery piercing. She was so amazing and helpful and speedy while extremely knowledgeable. She helped me decide to remove the trouble piercing which had been pierced badly enough to cause an infection that could eventually become quite alarming, did mystery helix so fast as well as my nostril. She was kind during the jewelry selection too while I changed my mind quite a bit. Ill definitely be coming back for more piercings and jewelry upgrades! Cannot recommend enough!!

I followed Madison here from her previous shop. She’s kind and immediately puts you at ease with her calming demeanor. She’s done a handful of my piercings and I’ll continue to go to her. She’s an excellent piercer and is always furthering her education. Also, her taste in jewelry is impeccable.

I visited Rubis to get my helix pierced, and I was SO pleased with my experiencem Madison is EXTREMELY sweet, professional, hygienic, and patient - she worked with me to ensure that I was really happy with the placement, and even put fake hoops on my ear to make certain the placement was what I envisioned. the studio space is super cute and inviting too. defintiely coming back here for my next piercing :)
