Ive had several tattoos from this shop, Kristina specifically, I wont go anywhere else. Its always clean and professional, yet you feel like youre hanging with your friends. My daughter and I went together, this was her first and Kristina was so kind and patient with her. Made her feel so comfortable. She made our Dad and Daughter Date even more unforgettable. So grateful.The skill level of the artists at the shop is top tier. The environment of the shop is so chill and welcoming. While i was there, a little girl came in to get her ears pierced. The little girl was noticeably scared. The piercer took the time to comfort her calm her. The little girl even gave the piercer a hug afterwards. Highly recommend this establishment.

Worked with Pepper for my largest and most detailed tattoo to date. Not only was it an awesome atmosphere to be in, but it was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. As a plus size woman one of my worries is whether or not tables or chairs will be stable, these were perfect. I felt comfortable and safe to ask questions. We had an amazing conversation and the art she put on my arm gets consistent compliments. I will be returning and referring for all future works!

Coming in to my appointment I was very nervous about the piercing I wanted, but the piercer I had was super kind and talked myself and my friend through the process before getting our piercings as well as answering any questions we had. I got 4 peircings there so far, all of them amazing, i have got a nose, septum, tongue, and an eyebrow piercings from here so far and the peircer Marissa goes through every step and every piece of equipment used throughly before the peircing, bare knuckle is very sterile and I’ve never had a bad outcome with them and the prices are honestly low for what you get. Definitely recommend going here, and they have amazing decorations

I got a second nostril piercing and gauged up my first one with Marissa and I’m absolutely in love with her work! I had seen what’s she’s done for others on Instagram and knew she was the one to go to but what I didn’t expect was how much less painful it was compared to what I thought it might be!! As someone with a huge fear of needles this was something I put off for a long time and now I can’t wait to go back and get something else done. They’ve both been healing beautifully and look so symmetrical. I stare at them in the mirror every time hahah. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Booked an appt a few month in advance with Kristina! Went in today and service was very good and fast they were very attentive and the staff make you feel right at home! As far as my tattoo with Kristina it turned out amazing was showed a pic of what I wanted and with the talent at hand and technique the art work came to life and turned out even more then what I expected! My artist is Pepper and she is absolutely phenomenal. Give her ideas and watch her bring them together in the most amazing ways.Overall the people are amazing. Theres always great banter between the artists and the clients. Kristina is hilarious. Pepper is a sweetheart. Sofia comes in with lowkey comments. It just feels fun being in the chair getting worked on by people who enjoy what they do.Hygienically, its such a clean place. I highly recommend!

Unprofessional and rude when I went for a scheduled appointment for piercings, stated I was injuring and harming a minor when going in the get a nose piercing done for a 16 year old. Will not be going back

The best piercing experience I have ever had! I went in having a previous industrial done somewhere else that has been giving me issues. Marissa was amazing in explaining why the piercing wasn’t done properly and we decided to take it out to close. I had initially wanted just one piercing, but she was very helpful giving her input on what she thought would look great in each ear. She explained everything she was doing very thoroughly and made me feel calm and relaxed. She was very patient with me in making my decisions and asking all of my questions. Absolutely amazing people here!

Richelle did my tattoo and she did really AMAZING! She was willing to work with a tattoo that was already drawn by a different artist and we just did some little tweaks here and there! Her line work is GREAT! Im a little OCD so I can see every little detail. Just AWESOME.

I was referred by a friend. Kristine came in on her day off to service me. That alone set great first impression. Upon walking into the shop I noticed how clean it was. A home feeling came to mind. Great atmosphere and great overall vibes. Kristine gave me options and really took the time to explain things to me in details. Only took 10 minutes and Kristine was already prepping her station. Tattoo took about 4-5 hours. Overall result was just AMAZING! So worth driving 5 hours just to see excellent work on my forearm. I will definitely be coming back......#BRAVO

I went to get my septum pierced, I was a bit nervous because I have a deviated septum that’s pretty apparent when looking straight on. The piercer, Kristina I believe, was friendly and knowledgeable. They did a very good job making sure the placement was correct and eased my fears. They also follow APP guidelines for placement and healing which is awesome! My septum came out beautiful and I love my nose for the first time in my life! Thank you!!

Pepper designed and tattooed an original D&D themed memorial piece for me. It was designed with care and expertise. She involved me in the process, and took my crazy thoughts and organized them into a beautiful piece. This was my 4th tattoo, and Pepper had a very gentle hand while tattooing. Of all the tattoo shops and piercing parlors in the Watertown, NY area, this is the one to go to. It is not a typical smaller area shop! This place not only is the most well kept shop I’ve been to here, it is one of the most professional establishments I have ever been too. They have a very business oriented outlook, and do they’re absolute best to give you the best tattoo they can. The artists here have a very no nonsense attitude so if you are looking to make small talk and beat around the bush, you might have better luck elsewhere. Out of all of the shops Ive been to bare knuckle has to be the best. The service is great, the prices are fair for the work they do, and they maintain a clean and comfortable environment. In the last year or so Ive gone in for 3 smaller pieces and was never disappointed. Ive seen a few of their artist working on larger pieces and they looked phenomenal. Would definitely recommend paying them a visit next time youre looking for some work.

Absolutely love this place!!!! Walked in for piercings and they got us in immediately, I also couldn’t get over how clean it was!!! Not only did the piercer know what she was doing but she could spot my scar from previous piercings and avoided piercing the same place! You can tell she knows what she’s doing! Kristina is by far the best tattoo artist in the north country, and an awesome person all around. Very reasonably priced, and she never disappoints. My husband and I both had made appointments months ago with Kristina, when it came time to attend my appointment we had an emergency and had to cancel the day prior, and yes it was 24 hours prior. Now today Oct 23rd my husband’s appointment came around and he showed up on time ready to go but as soon as Kristina got there she said she had cancelled all his appointments that were upcoming because “she wasn’t sure if he’d show up” that is one of the most unprofessional things an artist can do, when we had cancelled my appointment we clearly stated to cancel JUST MINE, NOT HIS. Never scheduling appointments with her again.

I am been getting work done by Kristina since before Bare Knuckle Tattoo opened. Didnt have to debate to follow her when she ventured out and started her own shop. She is a real artist and did a huge cover up on me, touched most of the work I had in the past as well as did portrait work. Kristina and Kandy (both are well rounded artists) have done work on me, my daughter, my mother and numerous people I work with and ppl commented on my work and got their own body art done. This is definitely the best tattoo shop I have been to in my 23 years of getting tattoos and anyone who works with her has lived up to her level. This is worth the wait for any tattoo that you can look at for the rest of your life and not regret who did it.

I went here to get my tongue pierced about 2 wks ago. Very clean, quick professional and knowledgeable. The price was good also I would highly recommend. This was great services I felt welcome from the time I entered that door.

The artists are non other than absolute professionals from the time you walk through the door. The place is cleaner than any tatoo shop I’ve been in. The variety of talented artist allows the customers to be able to get any type of quality work done! Highly recommend.

They did nipple piercings on me and the right one was pierced right through on the nipple and other side went through my aerola and the left one was pierced perfectly. I went back to ask the piercer if it was normal she said, “yeah, use more saline and I’ll give you longer bar. I can’t pierce it again because your nipple is too flat”. Like lady, just say you don’t know what you’re doing. I’m glad I didn’t have to pay for anything the service wasn’t great at all. She didn’t even hear my needs when I back again because it got red. I’ll never give them no more business again. I had to end up taking it out!

The owner is great while at the shop but outside of the shop she is absolutely awful and rude to her customers. Goes out to bars and gets drunk and insults her customers (one being a good friend of mine). It’s unprofessional if you aren’t professional outside of the workplace as well. I’m sick of the way she treats people outside of the shop. It just isn’t right. I’ve had sent a lot of people to her shop but due to her disrespect and belligerent usage of words with my friend, I’ll no longer be recommending them to that shop.

Best tattoo shop Ive ever been too, Alfred has done both my tattoos and did an absolutely amazing job. Its the most sanitary tattoo shop Ive seen in Watertown ny, and for as long as Im in watertown Bare Knuckle will be the ONLY place I go to for tattoos or piercings. They are the best no doubt about it.

Owner of the shop refused to do a tattoo because it included circles and where the placement is. But had been tattooing for over 20 years🙄 Emailed another artist at the shop and took days to respond then stopped responding all together. Unprofessional and Distasteful.
