Update 7/19/19 went in for a helix and tragus plus have my prior daith jewelry switched out. Once again Brandon did a awesome job 😁I went into mean ink for the first time today for a piercing. Brandon was my piercer and he was awesome! He was fast and prompt. On a scale of 1-10 I would say the pain was .5 and at about a 1 a hour later. Just felt like a tug. I got the daith piercing. And I wouldnt say I have a high pain tolerance, I believe if you have a good piercer it makes all the difference. I definitely recommend this place and Brandon. Ill be back and soon 🖤Also the women at the desk was nice and polite as well 💕

Brandon did a spectacular job with my nose piercing! He explained everything and was super gentle and quick. But even better than that, he was patient and respectful with my daughter as she prepared for her ear piercing and then decided not to go through with it. We didnt feel pressured at all and he reassured her that it was up to her. We will definitely be back if/when she decides shes ready!

They are arrogant and rude and unprofessional and i hope no one ever go and get tattoos from them they look dirty I wouldn’t spend a penny here ever!

Drew was amazing! He took his time and helped me design the perfect memorial tattoo for my mom and explained everything in detail to me. It hasn’t even been a full day and it’s not even healed and I have gotten so many compliments on it already! Everyone is saying that the birds look like they are 3D and flying! I got my conch pierced by Brandon and it was the worst mistake I could make. The piercer Brandon didn’t even give an option to chose the jewelry for the piercing and the one he chose was a curved barbell…. those aren’t supposed to be put in till a piercing is fully healed. When I questioned him about he said that the curved barbell are more comfortable to sleep on… that was the other red flag, you can not sleep on a fresh piercing. The man does not know what he’s doing, doesn’t even have his licenses on display.

I went in late on a Wednesday night and was set up for a Saturday appointment with Crystal. She was amazing! Her work was beautiful and she was an absolute pleasure to spend time with. The price for my tattoo was good and the overall atmosphere was pleasurable. I get tons of compliments on my tattoo. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

I went to Mean Ink Tattoo to ask about getting a Tragus piercing. The facility is very very clean the staff is very nice, Lacey explained everything to me. I asked her to come in with me to hold my hand. 😊 she did. Brandon did a great job even though I jumped it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be!! George who did my tattoo was nice! Did a good job. I recommend George! A lot of the other guys and the brunette at the counter were friendly. However, the blonde was rude and seemed to be bothered by having to do her job. Wasnt at all friendly. Had a 3yr old running around in the shop, good kid tho. Not sure Id go back or recommend.. maybe.

Bigg Tone started my sleeve and I’m so happy I went to see him. Everywhere I go people compliment my tattoo and want to know who did it. He made sure I was comfortable and content the whole time which is always important, and my tattoo turned out amazing. Lance is a magician! Had a terrible disaster on my leg that a lot of other artists wouldnt even touch, Lance Vaughn took on the challenge and worked a miracle on it! Im soo happy with my first session and cant wait to be back for more! Everyone was so nice and a very comfortable and professional setting.

Daughter got a ear piercings. A week later she comes in my room hollering and crying about how much pain her ears are in and she cant take it anymore. So I cut the light on to look at her ear. I to take her to the urgent care. The piercing on the left ear had sunk into her and the hole had enlarged. I dont know why that happened my guest is the hook was to tight against her ear for to long. The doctor said thats not the case. Well I had 3 girls and my son get piercing through out the years and myself and I never had this situation until I took them here.

Best place around! Friendly staff, amazing artists and sick sense apparel. I have 7 pieces done by Bigg Tone and Im constantly getting compliments on them. People are always asking about my sick sense apparel which is super comfy. If you havent been here you need to stop in.

I Really like this place and will DEFINITELY be returning. Everyone was really nice and professional. I randomly popped in tonight to get my nose pierced; Brandon did a great job and was really patient/thoroughly answered all of my “nervous” questions. Can’t wait to make a INK appointment!

Got my septum done here, everyone was nice and professional! Sterile environment too. Recommended it to my sister, she got her septum and nipples pierced. She loved it. Definitely would go again, maybe for a tattoo.

I got my first tattoo here yesterday and I was so incredibly nervous going into it but the staff made me feel so comfortable and welcome. Drew was good and a nice guy. I just think I was overcharged for what I got. I got a whole thigh tattoo with lots of color for a third of the price and the work was just as good. Other than that this is a great place to get tatted. Great atmosphere and great people!

Brandon pierced the side of my daughters nose, she was very happy with the piercing, he comforted her & let her know everything he was going to do before he did it... 2weeks later he changed her nose ring out for another she brought in for him for Free. I was 16 (young) and was referred to mean ink tattoo. ended up paying about 1000 dollars for a half sleeve that was completely butchered. I came in for appointment after appointment it was never fixed and left unfinished I was charged more for asking him to fix things that i had already paid for. Save your money and time and find literally anyone else. I had to spend another 500plus to fix the nightmare they left me with. (Dan wagner) was the artist

Awesome shop, stopped in today and was greeted right away. Inquired about my sons first tattoo, and Dan said sign in and have a seat and within minutes he had my son sitting down ready to go. Very professional shop. No need to go anywhere else!

Went in for a tattoo for my grandma, and the artist (sappy.ink) was able to draw it up(exactly as I described) in no time. The next day I got the tattoo done, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Excellent work, superior customer service, good pricing, and now I’ll have a little piece of my gram with me forever.

The Mean Ink team is amazing at what they do!! I won’t go anywhere else for my piercing and tattoo needs. I have taken both of my kids 14 yr old for piercing & 19 yr for tattoos and wouldn’t trust my kids to anyone else. Plus it’s the only place to get that Sick Sense apparel!!! Awesome location. I wouldn’t go here for piercings. I got an septum done here I noticed it looked low on my nose but after a week. I got an second opinion from a different shop. the piercer at mean ink put my horseshoe through my cartilage not my sweet spot inside my nose. Once’s it’s in the cartilage it will heal poorly and longer. I had too take it out so it will heal right back up. Thanks for nothing and a waste of $60. :|

I really hoped this would be a good tattoo place based off the reviews. I booked with Kentucky and both tattoos were messed up. One of them is blown out and one is completely crooked and unproportionate!! At least everyone was super nice.

Bigg Tone is by far the most professional, talented, fun tattoo artist ever. He is very accommodating and helps you sort out all the ideas you have in your head into one tattoo. I have 15 tattoos... my best 6 are from him and slowly he is working on making the other 9 I sadly got elsewhere as amazing as the rest! You won’t be disappointed. Oh and the shop staff rocks. Dan Wagner did my cover up tattoo today!! It turned out amazing go to there facebook page at Mean Ink to view the picture Dan took a tiger and made it into flowers and butterflies! 20 year old tattoo covered up just like that! They have a huge store plenty of space a lot of cool workers and everyone is so friendly! Dan I am super pleased and most definitely will be sending my friends your way!

I had gone up here hoping to have a good experience, I had heard good things from my friend previously and thought I’d be in for a good simple nose piercing. Brandon ended up doing mine and my friends noses. At first I noticed they were crooked but thought nothing of it, thinking it was swelling. But after a few days with the obnoxious sized jewelry ( me and my friend have had our noses pierced before and knew that this was way too big but thought we could stick it out) being completely crooked, we had to take it out. The piercing was so crooked we BOTH had to turn our heads down to even see the head of the diamond, surprising considering how big it was. I decided to call and see about a refund, but found out there was a no refund policy, and the gentleman sounded as if he didn’t even believe me. I understand some places don’t offer that, but there was no mention of it before or even an offer to repierce my nose. To top it all off, my cousin had gone in as well a few days before us to get her septum pierced and it is now incredibly crooked by drew.

This is the best tattoo I have ever been to. The environment when you first walk in is clean & inviting. Every artist greets you & they are all about custom. I took my fiance there Saturday to surprise him with a remembrance tattoo for his sister. Jimbo took the idea & made it flawless on his arm, looks like someone placed a page of a book on his forearm. Decided to go to this tattoo shop because it’s down the street from my house. The staff were friendly and inviting. I was a walk in so I waited 2 hours for my foot tattoo. Let me tell you the wait and the pain was DEFINITELY worth it. My tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it and is now my favorite tattoo. Dan did amazing and tattooed fast which helped with the pain. Will be coming back to this place!

This shop is filled with talented artists, they work very hard to keep it clean and it is a sterile environment. The girls up front are helpful and as friendly as can be. I would recommend this shop over any shop Ive ever been to. This place will make you feel like youre at home, thats because they treat you like family.

My septum was pierced to low . Whats crazy i read a view about septum piercing being to low here and wont to avoid those places months earlier i didnt realize this was the same place. Trust the reviews didnt get septum done here. On Top of my septum I had another piercing dont twice and it was crooked and placed in a bad location.

The guy who did the piercing was kind of rude and standoffish didnt display customer service! BUT Drew Volner was the man hes a tattoo artist very professional displayed great customer service he engaged in conversation and was very informative on the treatment of the tattoo.

Very very great experience. For me and My Husband. (RIP Jeff Jackson) He got his nose pierced Friday the 13th in April and passed away the 15th. Been there twice 1st time dan did a wonderful job2nd time yesterday drew v did 2 horrible tattoos that im embarrassed to even have on my body which he over charged me for and denied even doing those 2 tattoos to others. He has refunded my money and offered to rework the tattoos. I will not be accepting rework from him. I will take these ugly child doodles to another shop and see if it can be fixed or covered up

Mean Ink. What an awesome shop. Clean. Good vibes once you walk in. The owner even has his own clothing line stocked inside. Sick Sense. A lot of cool stuff to look at. My artist was Josh Adamson. From what I understand he is semi new to the team. Cool cat. Today I got Whatupdoe tatted on my forearm. Bruhhhh. This guy killed it. First of all didnt hurt at all. Gentle hands he has. Clean line. Sick shading. And his unexpected touch of some white...bruhh. I love it. I couldnt be any more happier. One of the owners, Sag, even popped in to check out the progress. Good guy. Very happy with this place. You should definitly check them out. On another note, I live out of town. I was flying out the next day. My dumb self left my id at the shop. They owner Sag went out of his way to meet me at the airport to drop off my id so I could board my plane. Life saver. Talk about above and beyond the call of duty. I would give these guys way more than 5 stars if I could. Awesome atmosphere, dope art skills, amazing customer service, cool people, and good background music. Keep up the amazing work yall. This is by far the largest and nicest tattoo shop ive ever seen in the area, 7 artist and 1 piercer, they also have a clothing line for men women and children. The atmosphere is friendly and laid back feels welcoming being in the downtown area unlike some shady looking shops ive seen definitely recommend going here with so many artist you can get any type of tattoo style you want

Listen if you know anything about style and tattoos this is the place the be. Great customer service, awesome tattoo artists, and they have the hottest drops on cloths for all the retro releases.... Oh yeah the guys the own and run the place are kinda cool too.

Went there back in december to get my septum done, granted we got there a little later but the piercer seemed rude and he didnt answer my questions, he was quick and it was painless but he was very short with everything and didnt tell me how to clean it.he also gave me too big of a piercing and pierced it VERY crooked so i took it out. later found out by a different piercer that he shattered my cartalige 😒 thanks dude

Over all good, comforting service, but I got my septum pierced at this shop and it was pierced in the completely wrong spot, it’s been over a year since I have gotten my piercing and it is still extremely sensitive to touch, and I couldn’t even move the jewelry, I talked to several other piercers who confirmed it was in the wrong area, so I was leaving a review about my experience with the septum piercing to save everyone else the pain..

Place has always treated me very well. Tattoo come out fresh, and clean! Always can grab a sweet hat too! Love Mean Ink
