Removery is great to work with. I am getting terrific results with high quality professionals. The results do take a while to see but slow and steady wins the race as, if you go too fast there can be scaring. I recommend going with the unlimited package for tattoo removal as sometimes it can take longer than one would think. I love the people who work there as they are all nice and accommodating and they take detailed notes each time on your progress. Their machines are state of the art too.

I had a great experience coming here, the staff and doctor were always very friendly and knowledgeable in explaining my progress and what to expect each visit. I highly recommend them if you have a tattoo you’d like to remove or fade to cover up! Time honestly flew! I can’t believe I just did my last treatment today and even if we decide for my follow up that I need another session to take care of any small areas that were missed they would be more than happy to support another session and schedule another follow up to ensure I’m healing properly. I started at Removery in November of 2023 and have been doing monthly appointments for various different tattoos since. Lauren is absolutely amazing! She makes a very uncomfortable process manageable. She’s been honest from the beginning about the process, time commitment and what could be fully removed. It is definitely a long process but slowly seeing results has been great! Definitely recommend the Wayne location and Lauren specifically!

Im having such an amazing experience with Removery, especially the Wayne office. Lauren has been amazing since day one. She was the one I had my consultation with, and she was also the RN that was with me during my first session. Both her and the doctor were patient, friendly, very supportive, quick and just pure perfection. I am so glad I went with this location and company to have my tattoo removed. I was looking at others initially but, after my consultation I was sold...however, the actual treatment itself completely solidified my trust and faith here. Thank you everyone for being amazing. In terms of the actual removal process, it doesnt really hurt. It feels the same way a tattoo would feel like (mine was on my back so it didnt really hurt much). The removal process felt just like that, just soooo much quicker. I was shocked it only took a minute. They did give me a stress ball to squeeze just in case LOL, and they provided an ice pack before and after treatment.Anywho, if youre considering this place, pull the trigger and go for it. I have been going to Removery for 1 year now and have just had my 6th session today. My experiences with Removery as a whole have been nothing but positive. I originally went for a consultation where they were very open and honest with me about the process. I was not expecting there to be so much information to take in. I’m glad I found this location. It’s a bit of a drive for me but they always keep their appointments and the staff is always friendly and willing to listen to my concerns or questions. They will not remove a tattoo unless you consent to them taking photos. This is an invasion of privacy for what is considered a medical procedure. I cant believe they would refuse unless they get a photo that they can use forever. I walked out. Corporations think they can get whatever they want from consumers and we have no choice. Well, I chose not to do business with this place.

Although I do not want to remove my tattoos, my associate Laura make me feel extremely comfortable and answered all of my questions. Although I havent had my first session yet i feel much better going into the process after our conversation.

So far, so great! I have had 2 sessions plus a consultation. The staff is super friendly and the office is very comfortable. I’ve seen 2 doctors - both did the process as quickly as possible and took breaks when I needed them.

Really nice employees so 5 stars for that, but only 1 star for appointment availability. I can only really come on Saturdays and right now thats not possible at this location, so dont come here if you also work a 9-5 M-F work schedule. Will update this review once that changes. Having to drive down to Newtown in the meantime where theyve been nice enough to accommodate us.

I’ve been coming to the Wayne location for the past year. Staff here is courteous and professional. The procedure itself is very painful but the staff’s attentiveness makes it a bit more manageable. This location gets booked up quickly. Highly recommend.

Just finished my fourth session and can’t recommend Removery enough. Lauren & Laura are extremely informative, professional, and answer all of my questions each session. Every time I’ve gone in, they’ve ensured the process was quick and as pain-free as they could make it. The doctors are extremely professional as well - from top to bottom the team gives you the impression they really care about the removal of your tattoo and the health of your skin thereafter.

What an amazing experience all around. From the minute I decided to remove a tattoo to the end of the procedure I received nothing but kindness. I had a zoom consultation with Melissa last month, she was so sweet and educated. Melissa made me feel so comfortable. She informed me exactly how the procedure works and answered every question I had professionally. As I arrived to the Wayne location Lauren who helped me fill out the paperwork and went over every detail of the laser and how it works. As she was training a new coworker I watched the passion, education, and skill Lauren had for her job. The Dr. Was AMAZING 🤩- he noticed I was nervous and made me feel comfortable. He started a conversation with me to distract me and it worked! As they all promised it was a Quick procedure! When it was over there were two women who sat with me to explain the healing and taking care of process again they went into detail and made me feel very comfortable. It is hard to find great employees and staff that work that hard and all have an amazing relationship. I will be going back for a second session but mostly because everyone was so friendly! Just a tip to anyone with an appointment at removery: DO NOT BE LATE. I waited 3 months for my appointment in Wayne (which I prepaid for) and I had taken the time off work to get there, as Saturday appointments are insanely booked. I also had to drive an hour to get there. I was running 10-15 min behind. I called them to let them know and they told me I needed to reschedule and gave me a date 3 months out. Meanwhile my tattoo is about an inch and takes 2 seconds to zap.Just do not be late otherwise they will turn you away and make you wait another 3 months. I was put on a waitlist but I’ve been on it before and I have never received a call to get in sooner.Tattoo removal takes forever, it’s expensive, and painful - even a painful reminder to some of us. Now I’m being set back another 3 months from actually getting this thing removed.

Absolute headache. Pretty sure they are part of the department of defense with the amount of paperwork and hoops you have to jump through for their military discount program. I wasn’t even told I needed proof of damn near everything including citizenship (just an exaggeration) until I GOT to my appointment. On top of it, I was grilled on everything as if they knew the military’s tattoo policies better than I do and trying to poke holes in what I was sayin. They lock you into an entire $1,900 package instead of the $150/session CleanSlate used to charge. Waste of time, I’d rather burn my ink off.

Been going now for 4 years my first session started in January 2020 and just finished my 12th session October 2023. You need to be patient and understand the healing process. I booked and went into Removery Wayne for back in June 2022, an appointment I waited months for. I didnt mind the wait because I know they are very good at their jobs.AT the appointment: The technician was SUPER nice, I wish I remembered her name because she was kind and patient. The doctor though, she was dismissive, a bit rude, and arrogant. I have a red tattoo, which is a harder pigment to remove, Ive been told this multiple times, but while explaining it, the doctor kept rolling her eyes, sighing, and saying well, I mean, I dont think theres much point in trying. She only tried after I was insistent since I spent the $300 already. After trying, and seeing no results just yet, she tried to push the Buy 10 treatments now, and you can save money special.I was told to come back in about 3 months to check on the progress and try to zap the tattoo again (a good cooling off period). I made my appointment (this is still June) for October since that was the only spot they had available, and was on my way.THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT that I waited months for, they told me that they have to cancel my appointment and to rebook through email or phone.I tried rebooking, but the only appointment the woman at the CALL CENTER could offer me was another 3 months out so I asked to speak to the Wayne location. They left for the day, so the receptionist said she will have the location call me the day they come back.THEY NEVER CALLED ME. Its been weeks. I had such high expectations for this establishment, but they have dropped the ball with me.

I made my appointment during quarantine and really took the time to think about why I wanted my tattoo gone. As a bride to be planning my wedding, there were so many things i was looking forward to - except my large, ugly back tattoo taking center stage in my dream (backless) wedding dress! I had a large back piece tattoo for many years and hated it - it drew a lot of unwanted attention and people saw my tattoo before they saw me - and I assumed for a long time i was stuck with it until I came across Clean Slate. They worked with me to make sure that we were able to remove my back piece for my big day and I felt so confident and wonderful on my wedding day. Had the first half of my treatments (over a 2 year relationship) with a business who sold their books to Removery. they wanted to increase the price I’ve been paying because “sorry this isn’t Clean Slate, this is Removery now.” well you bought a book of clients with an established history who are people and not wallets. I’ll literally go anywhere else, even if it means paying more just on the principle alone.

The office was clean and well put together, it helped put any COVID fears at ease. The staff was really knowledgeable and friendly, he explained everything and calmed my nerves. The machine being used seem state of the art, was very fast, precise, and didn’t hurt much. I took advantage of a COVID-induced price special, but I’d pay full price if needed again (which might not be, as the laser seems to have done some really good work on my tattoo). I don’t have much experience with tattoo removal, but I’d recommend them over just about any other option you throw at me

Spoke with Jeff via Facetime for a consult on tattoo removal. He was friendly, down to earth, as well as VERY knowledgeable and VERY thorough. I havent gone to the office, yet. I did a zoom appt but compare to another place I went to for a consultation, I can say that Im very pleased. The other place I went to was very unprofessional. The guy was always on the phone, while answering my question and barely making eye contact. I literally walk myself out because he didnt even tell me we were finished with the consult. So I went online and based on the reviews I chose this place. Davi was the person I spoke with and she was very sweet and professional. She explained everything and gave me their best date for their store in NJ. I wish I could go in sooner but I would have to take a day off to go during the week. Overall I can say, I cant wait to go in and start my journey of removing my tattoo 😌.UpdateJanuary 2,2021I went for my first treatment. Extremely pleased with the service.
