My daughter is *very* afraid of needles, but decided that she wanted to get her ears pierced before school started. The ladies that helped us were kind, patient, explained exactly what they were doing, and worked with her to make her feel comfortable and confident. The actual piercing took two seconds and my daughter was extremely happy with the results. She said “I still can’t believe that I actually got my ears pierced, and I’m happy that I did” ❤️

OMG!! ANNIE!!! It was my first time at Rowan and I’ll definitely be back!! I was greeted immediately and advised what section I needed to go to based on what I was looking for by the sweetest staff. Annie is the needle piercer and I wanted to get a new piercing only to discover my prior piercing in the same region was actually still open! I told her what I wanted / what I was looking for visually and she was so enthusiastically helpful and patient while we were through all the options together! We went though a few different options and came out with new fresh earrings and a refreshed piercing! I can’t wait to come back for the frontal helix when it’s offered! Just had the best experience at Rowan! Annie was PHENOMENAL! Super knowledgeable to make recommendations on the best jewelry for my piercing to look the best on my ear. I only came in for a front helix jewelry change, which she did quick & easy, but I will definitely be looking for a reason to come back!

This was the BEST experience! My 17 yo wanted a second piercing on her lobes but after going to a more traditional tattoo shop when she was younger she was looking for a less intimidating environment that still performed needle piercing. Jesse was so great and made my daughter feel comfortable right away and did a perfect job taking her through the process. Highly recommend!

Our 9yo daughter was nervous to get her ears pierced but the team at Rowan was great at putting her at ease. It was over before she even had a chance to get nervous and we couldn’t be happier! Great job!

Caity pierced both of my helix and did my sons first lobes. She was super sweet and attentive and gave great advice!! Highly reccomend. A little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. Worth it!!!

Alex pierced my eight year old daughter’s ears and we had a wonderful experience! My daughter was nervous when we arrived, and Alex gave her encouragement but also space to relax and make the decision to go through with it.Alex explained each part of the process ahead of time so my daughter would know what to expect. She also took her time marking the spots on my daughter’s ears until we were sure they were perfect. When it was time to pierce, Alex and another nurse each did an ear at the same time. We did the “device” piercing recommended for kids. It’s not a traditional piercing gun, and is hand pressurized. They also do needle piercing, and we watched two adults get piercings while my daughter built up her courage.Afterward the piercing, Alex explained all of the aftercare steps, and we received a paper with all of the steps so we would know what to do to take care of my daughter’s new piercings.The shop itself is clean and inviting. The earring choices are cute and all hypoallergenic. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They were helpful, but not at all pushy. Alex mentioned several times to my daughter that she didn’t have to get her ears pierced that day if she didn’t want to. There is also fun sign at the back of the shop to take a picture to commemorate getting a piercing, and my daughter received a certificate for bravery afterwards.Overall, I was very impressed by Rowan and by Alex. This is a great place for ear piercing, particularly for a child getting pierced for the first time!

Came in on a whim because I work in the shopping center. The team there was amazing. Ive never had anyone explain to me why you cant sleep on newer piercings, what happens if you change them too early, etc. Ive had all my piercings done at tattoo shops and its very quick with no real guide on aftercare.I got the conch piercing and I bought the heart earrings. It is pricey compared to a mall kiosk or tattoo shop but you get what you pay for. The jewelry is great quality, the atmosphere is inviting, and everybody is super nice and everything is sanitary. Will be back!

I just got two piercings after not having my ears pierced in over a decade. I absolutely LOVE the jewelry and the piercers were fantastic. There was some training going on (I had the option to not be involved for my piercing) I was so impressed by the experience; the detail of the training down to the angle of the needle made me comfortable with the whole process. Absolutely coming back for both jewelry and future piercings!

I’m really sad about this one. I was so excited for Rowan to open. It is so cute and such a cool concept but my last appointment is why I will not be coming back. Got a call 10 minutes before my booked appt that a nurse had called out and they will have to push back a couple hours. Not ideal, but I could move my day around to make it work & I only needed a post change so it shouldn’t take long… nope nope, got there a few minutes before and they either overbooked or took a walk-in right before. Ended up sitting at the front with minimum communication for an hour waiting for a post change which only takes a few minutes. I understand that things happen but it was the lack of customer service and care towards the wait especially after being pushed back already that day. She did say “thank you for your patience” once I sat in the chair but for the hour wait, there was no communication.

My daughter has had her ears pierced since she was 2 years old. We have struggled for several years (shes 10 now) with finding earrings that don’t irritate her ears. We walked by and saw Rowan so we went in. Thankful that we did because we found a solution! The flat back earrings have been a lifesaver! The staff was very help and friendly! I would highly recommend Rowan for all of their services!

The ladies were super friendly and welcoming. I had recently got my ears sewn up from gauging them when I was younger so I was Worried about how they would pierce or look. I heard Really good things about this place and decided to give them a try. They did not disappoint. Would recommend them and will be going back to get more ear piercings. Scheduled an appt on a rainy Memorial Day. Nikki was amazing with my 10 yo daughter! Got the placement perfect and the piercing was painless. My wife got hers repierced as well. Needed a tandem so she didn’t wuss out. After some well deserved ribbing, they gave my wife her certificate.

For my 60th birthday, I wanted to get 2nd hole piercings. I found Rowan close to where I live, staffed by licensed RNs! That was a huge plus for me in making my decision. I’m so very happy with my choice! They take walk-ins; but, just to be safe I went on their website and made an appointment for 15 minutes from that moment 😀Donna, the beautiful manager, greeted me warmly in a pristine clean, bright room, and she put me at ease right away. We looked over all the gorgeous earrings they offer. I ended up purchasing two more sets in addition to the set going in my ear. Just gorgeous! Annie was fantastic! With 10 years of ER experience, I knew she was more than able to take care of my piercings! She disinfected everything, the chair and the supply table, before opening a new sterile kit to prepare for my piercings. All along she was so easy to talk to and we had fun! I chose device piercing for this go around. Annie had me approve placement before the piercing. It was done in an instant without so much as a tiny pinch! At my age, my knees hurt like heck, so an ear piercing isnothing! 😂 I was given very clear aftercare instructions and purchased aftercare spray. I received a text the next day checking on me! With everything I chose, it was a pricey visit, but for my birthday, it was well worth the investment. I’m planning on going back to have a needle piercing for my third. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Wish the nurse hadnt recommended an earring thats technically too big/heavy for my newborn. The shop said any of the piercing studs were appropriate but I now do not believe that to be true. In hindsight i wish id done more research but unfortunately I deferred to their expertise.

I had a horrible experience at Rowan in Winston. I got my third hole pierced here. After the first day my ear was clearly infected and swollen. I called Rowan three days in a row expressing how badly infected my ears were. They told me to “come in so they can look at them”. I stated I lived 1 hour away and if they are going to be using their cleaning products that I also purchased and was using multiple times a day it would be a waste. They informed me they didn’t have tools to loosen the back on the earring and that it would be a very painful experience for me. They also told me to buy new DIFFERENT cleaner even though I purchased one from them for $20 that didn’t work.I wanted them to heal considering i paid almost $160 for them. I ended up having to get them removed at Urgent Care two weeks later. The video attached below is how they looked at urgent care. The picture attached is how they look two weeks on antibiotics. I’m still having issues with them to this day. Horrible experience, truly.My friend also got pierced here as well and they didn’t even clean her ear before piercing it.
