The best tattoo shop ever! The work is always amazing, And they are all always so friendly and welcoming. I’ve never had a bad experience. I’ve brought a couple of my best friends here and they had a great experience as well. Plus their shop is super cute!! This will be the only tattoo shop I go to from now on.

Definitely my favorite tattoo shop!! Maygen is an amazing artist!! She’s done my last 3 tattoos and will continue to be my go to artist! She also did my husbands Raven tattoo. The shop is super cute and has a very welcoming atmosphere.

Absolutely love this place! All of the girls are so welcoming and kind. They are reasonably priced for the amazing quality you get. I’m so excited to go get this piece continued The environment is calming and laid back. I’ve had many people ask me where I get my tattoos and I’m always so excited to tell them about garden of ink!

I went to get tattoos with my friends (3 of us total) on a flash day. Due to delays on our end and how understandably popular the shop is, we weren’t able to get in on that day but the artists kept our contact info and scheduled appointments for us to come in together and get the same deals as the flash day. They didn’t need to do this but we were very happy to get the tattoos we were excited for! All of our designs look amazing with beautiful shading and are exactly what we wanted. I stumbled across this shop on Instagram and had been so hesitant to find a new shop/artist since moving to NC, but I was so happy when I did commit to coming to them! Vanessa did my tattoo and she was so sweet and fun to work with. The response time for the shop is very quick, and the pricing is also fantastic! I’ve gotten so many compliments on my arm piece Vanessa did only three months ago ❤️❤️ I also got my nose pierced free of charge for willing to be a guinea pig for one the apprentices at the shop haha. I love that this place is women owned and operated, everyone here is so professional and fun, I can’t wait to come back for another session.

Garden of Ink is adorably decorated, the shop is very clean and inviting. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. I love that it is an all female staff. Vanessa did an amazing job on my tattoo! Will definitely be back in the future.

I’ve had a great experience with this shop! Vanessa did my lip piercing and also pierced my husband’s ears, and she was so helpful and professional. All of the other artists at the shop are friendly and there’s a comfortable vibe here. I will definitely come back to this shop to get tattoo work!

Ive had the absolute pleasure of receiving 3 tattoos here from Maygen and I will never go to another shop again. All of the ladies here are so kind and talented and will make you feel so at home. The first tattoo Maygen did for me was a beautiful tribute to my baby daughter who passed away. The experience was like a therapy session and now I have a beautiful permanent reminder of my baby. She also took a concept I had for another tattoo and completely ran with it and completely wowed me with the final results. I love this place!

Am absolutely in LOVE with my tattoo!!!! This was my first ever tattoo experience and it was such a great time! The shop was decorated in such a fun way and the people were so incredibly kind and hilarious too! Vanessa did my tattoo and she did a truly incredible job and would absolutely go to her again if I could. I got a bouquet of flowers for the members of my family and she did amazingly!!! I got the tattoo back in December for my birthday and am almost a year out and it still looks gorgeous!!! Truly a 10/10 experience and would LOVE to get another from Garden of Ink!!!!

I was visiting NC from NY and wanted to spontaneously get a tattoo with my fiancée. I googled shops around Winston-Salem and this shop specifically spoke to me. I booked with Cat and thank God I did! Cat is an amazing soul with a warm embrace. The knowledge we left with was remarkable. Her art work is amazing and we left with beautifully done tattoos. I wouldn’t have done my first tattoo elsewhere. OH and Cat is Hispanic

The people there were so kind and friendly, the environment was just what I was looking for as it was my very first tattoo, I went with the back and my mom got a matching lotus on the side of her lower ribcage. the work is beyond breathtaking and im so thankful for that experience and for Vanessas kindness and assistance through all the questions we had.

First off everyone was very welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. Vanessa was my artist and did an amazing job. Personally I loved the entire atmosphere of the shop all together. I don’t think I’ve been to a shop that I was as comfortable to be there as this one. I will definitely be going back. I think I’ve finally found my “tattoo home” and ready to settle down. I came here back in April to get my first tattoo after hearing that it was an all women’s tattoo shop. My artist was Vanessa and let’s just say, I now have a total of 3 tattoos (soon to be 4) all done by Vanessa! Vanessa was so sweet and gentle! I’ve also had the opportunity to meet some of the other artists and they were all very welcoming as well! The studio is so cute, its pink! This is the only place I will ever come to get a tattoo!

I originally came to this shop during their Friday the 13th special and I was in love with how chill the shop was and the quality of work so when I was ready to get another I reached out in hopes of getting an artist that was there during the Friday the 13th sale but they were no longer working there so I was put into contact with Vanessa. To start with she was almost an hour late getting into the shop but I was understanding because of her night before helping the shop owners husband set up his gym. My tattoo was to take an hour and a half-two hours but it ended up taking 4 hours between phone calls, and walk in piercings. Little did I know my tattoo was going to be horrible! After the tattoo was done she told me she didn’t have much practice with color and that she had been nervous about doing it. Well that’s painfully obvious now because it’s scared like crazy from single needle coloring and needs some major love to look like I wanted to it. I have shown pictures while I was healing and she did not seem concerned with how it was looking but offered to do a touch up when it was fully healed however I just can’t put my arm through that pain again from poor technique/experience just for it to probably look even worse.

I’ve gotten tattoos from 3 different shops and this one has definitely been my favorite! I’ve been multiple times & def plan to go back for my next tattoo. Vanessa took me in on short notice and even stayed late to do some touch ups for my husband’s tattoos while we were there. She went above & beyond.Also the decor & music vibes in the shop are chef’s kiss 🤌

Cat was so amazing! They made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process and the work they did on my arm is so beautiful. It was a wonderful first tattoo experience.

We had such a an amazing experience with May , we stopped in on our way to the beach. She did a fantastic job with all 4 of us. My sister and I came to get our first tattoo together. The environment was very relaxed. Everyone there was kind and friendly as they quickly got our tattoo designed. We were assigned Cat, and she was very thorough and professional. She did an amazing job and I’m in love with my tattoo! She made sure I was comfortable as I got the tattoo and offered breaks if I ever needed it. I will definitely be coming for more tattoos in the future!

I just went in for my 1st one from maygen and she is an absolute dream to work with. Helped get the best idea and lay out with a lot of understanding and helpfulness. My first tattoo was with Vanessa and I was nervous for a spine tattoo but she was honestly so welcome and my experience was a 10/10 , I came back and brought my mom with me and she loves her tattoo!

Went in today with my dad to get matching tattoos! These were done by Cat and we absolutely love them. She was very hospitable, helped us create exactly what we were looking for, and overall just an amazing artist. The studio itself was overall very clean, and the other artists were very welcoming. It was a very positive environment and we highly recommend!

I LOVE this shop! I just got my hip and leg piece done by Meaghan and she is the absolute best!! I’ve been to two other tattoo shops before but this one is by far my favorite. The environment, people, and art is incredible and I couldn’t have had a better experience. Meaghan is an amazing artist, we had the best conversation and she really handled my piece with extreme care. The prices are awesome and I couldn’t recommend this place and artist more!!

I have been here 3 separate times ( two tattoo’s and a piercing) and had great experiences each time! The shop is so cute and the female presence truly makes me feel more comfortable. I have had two incredible experiences at this shop. Meg is an incredible artist and human being and she did a wonderful piece on my mother and I for my first tattoo on my 18th birthday, as well as another gorgeous piece about a month later. Both have healed exceptionally and continue to amaze me daily at the sheer detail and intricacy. I love this atmosphere and this kind, caring and absolutely infectiously positive staff.

Garden of Ink is an incredible shop with the nicest artists. I’ve gone to Maygen for 6 tattoos now, at both her old shop and Garden of Ink. She is phenomenal in professionalism, experience, and overall personality. She really puts her all into each piece and you can tell! Even though it’s a little over an hour away from me, this is my go to shop so I don’t mind the drive. The shop itself has a great vibe, feels so welcoming, and is super clean. I’ll 100% be back to get another one soon :)

Cat did amazing rework on my thigh tattoo!!!! the original was absolute tragic but Cat went above and beyond for me! Also, everyone was super chill and nice!! Definitely passed the vibe check!! I have found my go to tattoo person and I already cant wait for the next one!!! 💜💜💜

Literally my favorite tattoo shop ever - I’ve gotten all my tattoos in the US with them. It’s such a nice environment with girls that are always fun and supportive and helpful. Maygen did all my tattoos here and I love them. Got my piercings there too and always super satisfied. Plus the shop is so cute and the decor is amazing, love the good vibes!

I had an amazing experience at Garden of Ink, my sister and I went in for our first tattoos getting a memorial piece for our childhood cat that had passed away. Everyone there makes you feel very welcome and comfortable! Cat did my tattoo and not only is Cat an amazing tattoo artist but Cat makes you feel welcomed easy to talk to and listen to your input of what you would like for you tattoo. 10/10 experience and I would 100% a thousand times over advise people to go here and get your tattoo done by Cat. I am definitely going to go back for more future pieces!

I had a wonderful experience here, the atmosphere was very welcoming and they accommodated to my needs extremely well. Maygen was my artist and tried multiple different sizes of stencils and different placements to see what I liked best. All of the employees were incredibly nice and made me feel a part of the family!

Hands down the best tattoo shop I’ve ever been in! These girls not only are willing to work with you when it’s moving a stencil over and over, spending time touching up a design until it’s perfect or just making sure you’re gonna love what you walk out with. They take their time and ensure the work is great quality. They keep it until they are happy with it and you love it! I’ve had my biggest pieces and also my most important pieces done here and there is no one I could ask to do better! Just left the shop today and already ready to go back for another!! If you’re looking for a place to go this is the place!!

I 100 percent recommend Garden of Ink to anyone who is looking for quality tattoos and a great shop setting to get them done in. I am very picky when it comes to artists and Maygen (Mayhem Ink) has done 2 large pieces for me so far that completely brought my visions to life. Her line work and shading is one in a million. Communication is great. I drive over 2 hours to get my pieces done here and its been more than worth it each time. The shop itself gives off good vibes and it is super clean. Each tattoo I have gotten here has healed cleanly and in less than half the time than my other tattoos, speaking to the skill of the artist. The option of Afterpay is also a bonus that I have not come across at other shops. Definitely give this place a shot, Im so glad that I did and will continue to get my art done here as long as I can.

I’ve been to the Garden Of Ink a few times now. It’s hard to start over with a new artist when you move across the country. Im grateful to have found Vanessa! I’m beyond happy with her ability to take my thoughts/ideas and bring them to life. The shop has a chill vibe, it’s clean and they usually have snacks and good music playin.

I came in during their big flash sale and unfortunately they werent able to get everyone same day. Instead of turning everyone away they allowed us to schedule another time at our convenience! Great customer service and communication!! Loved the vibe as well

Super friendly bunch. I came in needing my faith piercing removed for an MRI. After having multiple people look at it, I finally decided to go to a shop to have a piercer look at it. She got it out super quick and painless, and replaced it with a plastic one. In and out in about 10 minutes.

I got a piece here in November by Maygen and I absolutely love it! The vibes in the shop are amazing and it is such a comfy place to be. I had questions after my tattoo and Maygen always answered promptly. This will be my forever place for any other pieces!

I was very drawn to this place from the beginning because this is a all womens shop. This shop is a girls girl vibe and very down to earth! From the moment I walked in, I was met with smiles, laughter, warmth, and most importantly, I felt safe! Everyone there is a girls girl! Erin F. completed my tattoo and she was so delicate and detailed. She made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and that I was satisfied from start to finish! I came to the studio as a walk in and the minute I got there the girls were so sweet. It was my first tattoo so I was nervous, but it was such a welcoming, friendly environment. I got walked through every step and was made sure that I approved of everything being done. The artwork and fine lining was phenomenal and I loved how my first tattoo came out. Garden of Ink is a fantastic woman-owned and operated tattoo shop! Nikki, one of the owners, did the line work and some shading to my flowers that have healed, and recently added my new sloth and cardinal friends!! This is still in progress. It will be in color and I’ll update, but I already adore it so much! Maygen is also an owner and was working on a huge back piece while I was there, which is turning out amazing. I got to see a feminine lion back piece done by Vanessa, it was beautiful! Nikki also did my tragus and rook piercings. The shop is extremely clean, quirky and laid back. Maygen is such a great tattoo artist !! She is the only tattoo artist I let tattoo me. It never hurts and her work is so beautiful. The environment is very welcoming and friendly. It is ran by some awesome women whom are all very sweet and easy to talk too :)

I went to get my septum done and as soon I walked in I was amazed by how the shop looked! I was immediately greeted too and felt warm and comfortable being there! Erin pierced me and she made sure I was comfortable and walked me through everything, this was my first piercing and I am very thankful to have found this place to get it done at!

Th best shop around! I had the pleasure of moving with Meygan to her new shop from Lexington and I have been tattooed by her many times. Their shop is so welcoming and she always brings my tattoo ideas to life. She does phenomenal work and takes her time and gives breaks if needed. She offers all day and half day sessions so you can get a lot done at once. I’m a frequent all dayer and split it with my husband. I can’t thank her enough for all the work she’s done on me. Can’t wait to finish my stomach this week!

Went for the Friday the 13th flash event. Tons of cute flash, not the stereotypical stuff, the event was also really well organized with a vendor on site. Environment was above and beyond welcoming. I love that I was literally surrounded by women, Ive never felt so safe in a shop. Nikki was so quick with my tattoo and the lines are so clean, I absolutely love it! I have used Garden of Ink for most of my tattoos including both sleeves, chest, and legs. This is more than just a wonder tattoo studio, it is warm and welcoming like a family. All three women are excellent artists and give great suggestions in the design of my tattoos. I have taken my daughter in for several piercings and she has loved the studio. I got my second piece today from Nikki at Garden of Ink!!! She really captured what I was looking for in a really Bizarre design idea. We created a Human Centipede of Pleasure - She heard my idea and was able to create EXACTLY what I wanted!! I had so much fun, she was kind, focused, and soft handed through the entire session. I couldn’t be more satisfied with a day spent, and a tattoo to live with.today was very hard getting a ring of people tattooed around and above the knee. I twitched so much over a two hour session and Nikki was AWESOME! i am SO happy with my line-work, shading And color details.The pain was a Solid 7/10 but I am already booking my next tat for January. I will be coming back to see Nikki

Nikki is such a talented artist she has completed several tattoos and continuing projects and piercings for me over the last 8 months. She is professional, and extremely helpful in not just the tattoo technicality of the work but designing and coming up with unique pieces. I would never have gotten half my pieces without her patience and talent. It has become my therapy and like family with not just her but all the girls. Every single one of them I would let tattoo or pierce me!

I had my septum pierced for about 7 months and had surgery so it had to be taken out. A few days after surgery my ring was popping out and wouldn’t stay in my nose. I called Garden of Ink and asked if they would be able to help me get it back in. They said of course and when I got to the shop and was greeted by Maygen. She was the sweetest soul I have ever met and was happy to help me get my piercing back in. It took a bit but she finally got it back in and didn’t charge me to do so. I obviously left a tip anyway but this was by far the best experience I’ve had with a tattoo/ piercing shop and I will 100% be going back for my tattoos!!!
