I promised my daughter if she got all As & Bs for the school year, I would let her get her nose pierced. When I was young, I always wanted to get my nose pierced too but was worried about not being able to get a job and stuff like that. Times have definitely changed, and while we got her nose pierced, I got mine done too.We found this location close to home and it had great reviews. Their hours said they close at 7pm and it was 630pm when we started to head that way. I called them first to make sure they could take us as we were only 10mins away. They were super polite and told us to come on in.They were very inviting. Elliott was our artist. He was very professional, provided great information about the process and what to expect. The whole experience was great.We love our piercing and definitely recommend this place.Be sure to bring your childs birth certificate if they are a minor as it is required.

I got my 3rd lobes and conch done by Elliot, as well as many other piercings. He does an incredible job with the placement every time and is amazing at calming any possible nerves you have about your piercing. The vibes are so welcoming and cool and you can look at the amazing artwork while he sets up for your piercings. The other artist are super sweet and chill as well. Elliot really is the best and incredible at what he does! Id recommend him to everyone!

I lost the end to my favorite industrial the other day. I came across this shop and stopped because of the reviews. The reviews are not wrong. I had the most amazing experience. Elliot helped me find an industrial that I liked, went over everything with me (Im used to the screw on ends and this one was different but i love it!), and was just an overall awesome person. I will definitely come back for any of my piercing needs. Thank you, Elliot, for being so great!

I’m so glad Elliott has moved to Equinox. He’s the best! I’ve followed him throughout the years and send all my friends, and even take my kids to him. He’s knowledgeable, kind, and patient with questions. The shop is super clean and chill. I just took my sister in law last week to change out her jewelry, and the selection is great! Five stars isn’t enough!

This place is fantastic! Not only is there some great shopping to check out, the staff is great! Dana did my tattoo and it was a great experience. I loved how it turned out. Not only that, after I got a few piercings from Elliot who is also super knowledge and made the whole process quick, simple, and as painless as possible.

Ive been seeing Elliott for piercings for years and I came to see him at equinox! The shop is wonderful, everyone was so nice, I felt right at home. His jewelry selection was amazing, I wanted everything. He helped me pick out what would work best with the existing jewelry I had in my ear. I get easily overwhelmed by options and he kept it super simple and easy. I will be back and I always recommend Elliott! He always answers all my dumb questions and makes me feel comfortable!

I’ve been here a handful of times over the past year to get piercings and new jewelry and this shop and it’s employees are always wonderful! everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. elliot ordered me some new jewelry for my septum that i couldn’t find online and also pierced my helix today, made the process super easy and answered all the piercing care questions i had, super cool too! i also absolutely love looking at all the cool paintings, crystals, and trinkets that are up for sale here, lots of really neat stuff in the shop! seriously, this shop is the best around.

My son and I went there today to get his ears pierced for a second time, let me tell you this place is awesome! The staff was so friendly and informative and our piercer Elliott did a fantastic job! Not to mention the rest of the store was very interesting and drew you in more. We will definitely be back!

Nothing to say but this is an amazing tattoo studio. All the staff are friendly and willing to answer questions. Jeffrey Harp is an amazing artist and will definitely have him do more work in the future.

Ive been getting a partial half-sleeve worked on by Lauren Purson here at Equinox. I have nothing to say but AMAZING things about her, her work, and the shop as a whole.This is honestly an amazing shop. I genuinely feel cared for while my body is getting worked on. Its safe. Its clean. The vibe check passes with flying colors.Everyone that Ive interacted with who works there is truly enjoyable to be around and genuinely lovely.10/10 recommend this shop as a whole, and Laurens work specifically.You cannot go wrong getting a tattoo here.

I have been wanting to upgrade my jewelry for a while and went by Equinox to see Elliot. I explained what I was looking for and he had the perfect pieces for my nose and rook piercings. Elliot is very knowledgeable and explains what he is doing which helps calm the nerves. The whole process was quick and painless.

I have had such an amazing time in the shop. It is set up super well. On top of that the artists are amazing. So far I have been tattooed by Brie and Jenn and they were both so amazing. Getting things scheduled is easy and they are super accommodating especially with comfort levels.I can not wait to get more tattoos from them.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff are amazing! I have used Taylor Anne as my artist for several years now and this place is filled with nothing but quality artists who take pride in their craft and are TRUE and authentic artists! I also enjoy perusing their Provisions shop and eating all the delicious FREE candy (who doesnt enjoy free candy!?)! They treat their clients with respect and I always feel like family when I walk through the door! There simply arent enough stars to give them ✨🫶✨

Couldnt ask for a better experience! I was tattooed by the owner Taylor and she was professional, easy to work with, and very welcoming. I felt right at home. Above all else her tattooing skill and artistry are as top level as they come. Give them a try and you wont regret it.

The final product never looks like the reference sketches I bring in, but that’s probably a good thing. 😂Love this shop and everyone in it! Super clean and welcoming. Plus they have neat stuff you can shop during breaks.

This place is the best! It’s such an eclectic, funky, and fun environment that’s super clean. The artists here are insanely talented. Jacob is my tattoo artist and his work is amazing! I can’t recommend this shop enough.

Equinox has phenomenal artists and great shop management. From first reaching out to set my appointment to finally getting inked, the process was thorough and gives you the assurance that youre going to get exactly what you want.Setting the appointment online is easy, and it gives you a lot of specificity about placement and details, as well as a place to upload photos for reference. It does require you to make your deposit at the time of booking, and that varies based on how much time it will take. If your session is shorter than the time frame that you booked (mine went very quickly) they simply apply the overage to your final balance. Good practice, clear instructions.My artist was Jeff, and Ill just start by saying Ill go to him again. He nailed the design, helped me fine-tune the placement, and let me know what to expect with that specific tattoo placement. Even though it wasnt my first time in the chair, its nice to have an artist who will take the time to make sure youre informed and comfortable with the process. Jeff has a good hand with the needle, he doesnt rush, but he also doesnt run up the clock just to fill the time. He is personable and engaging, so sitting there getting tattooed wasnt boring or awkward.The other artists also have great work and there is a real sense of friendship in the shop.Equinox artists are on the pricier side, but you definitely get what you pay for from start to finish. Expect to pay a pretty penny, but also expect an amazing experience with results you will love.I whole heartedly recommended Equinox to anyone looking to add to their existing work or to get your first tattoo. Youll be glad you went there; it was worth every penny.

This is seriously the best place to get a tattoo. It’s even the best place to just hang out and chat. The staff is amazing; they’re all such lovely, kind, supportive people. I always have a blast when I’m there and getting tattooed. In fact, I usually stay an hour later just to talk, and I always feel welcome. Even better than just having a great, fun atmosphere, all of the artists at Equinox are top notch. I get all manner of compliments on the tattoos I’ve gotten. The work I’ve seen done by the other artists is always gorgeous. Everyone there is very professional, keeping high standards on cleanliness and safety as well as the quality of work. Shannon, who works the front desk, is also a gem of a person. She has gone above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable while getting my tattoo and she keeps everything organized for easy check in and check out. I would recommend Equinox to anyone and everyone who wants a tattoo. I would give more than 5 stars if I could!

This shop is great. Super clean and friendly. They make you feel welcome. I sat with an artist for a consultation and she helped me realize what I thought I wanted wasnt the type she specialized in and made a recommendation that I go with another artist. She was 100% correct. I now have a new favorite tattoo and tremendous respect for someone willing to admit when they are not the best artist for the job.

Hands down best tattoo shop I’ve ever experienced. I’ve had a few smaller tattoos from other shops, but I had a larger piece in mind and wanted to book with one of my favorite original artists Taylor Ann. She had moved to this studio, so I emailed to schedule a consultation. All communications were prompt and professional, I ended up setting up a consultation with Jenn due to enjoying some of her art and overall style. She listened to everything I wanted(a difficult cover up back piece) and said that she was excited to create my new piece. My first session was 4 hours, everything went well and healed perfectly. My second session was today(4 hours) and I’m beyond impressed. The environment is clean, fun, and inviting. If you want an authentic and talented artist, go see Jenn! All the artists at this studio are talented and seem to love their craft, and offer a truly individual style. Thank you Equinox and Jenn for an amazing experience. I look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Wonderful experience! I got several smaller tattoos done by Jeff & he did such a great job on all of them. He made sure they were exactly where I wanted them in the size I wanted & worked with me until we had it perfectly. Definitely recommend!

I was referred to this tattoo shop from a family member. This would be my second tattoo. Scheduling was very easy and the staff was really kind. Jen did mine and my husbands tattoo and she did a great job! It is less irritated and healing faster than my first tattoo and it looks great! Jen was very kind and patient and made me feel comfortable. I would defiantly recommend this place and will be going back for to Jen for my next tattoo 😊

On vacation and called ahead to make an appointment. I was fit right in for an add on tattoo. The place is beautiful and clean. Great atmosphere and the “5 chicks and a Rick” were great! Ceilidh was amazing! She took the time to re-draw and re-position until I was happy. I scheduled an appointment for another tattoo the next day but the snow storm made it impossible to make it. I was on my way out on Tuesday and asked if I might be able to come in on Monday (which is when they are closed). She took me in and the tattoo was beautiful. The detail and the talent she put into it made it even more special. Thank you so much Ceilidh!

I love this place so much. The environment here is friendly, open and welcoming. The quality of tattoos here is outstanding. I would never go anywhere else to get a tattoo. The prices are fair and I love the results. Both times Ive gotten a tattoo with Taylor, she saw my vision and created something completely different and beautiful. I recently was tattooed by Ceilidh Watson at Equinox and it was one of my best tattoo experiences. The shop is very welcoming and the front desk girl, Shannon is as sweet and accommodating as can be. All the artists are hilarious and you can see the comraderie between them. Which is cool in a tattoo shop to see as a client.Ceilidh gave me exactly what I wanted and more! Cleanest line work, best color and shading! I got a ditch tattoo and it barely even hurt she was so gentle.10/10 would recommend this shop and these amazing artists to anyone I know. Amazing!

I came here specifically for Jenn Golgan for my first tattoo. The entire experience was wonderful, from booking and scheduling with Shannon at the front desk, to Jenn being super nice and walking me through the process. The studio is clean, and they are super picky about their sterile fields, which you want when someone is using needles. I would highly recommend!

I just want to highlight Melissa (AKA Wikilea) as probably the best piercer in Atlanta. She is extremely cool and professional, and while I don’t have anxiety with piercings, I can see that she would have an extremely calming effect on anyone that does. She can make or order you just about whatever jewelry you could want. She is also so kind and respectful of all of her customers. I’d recommend her to anyone, from parents wanting to get their children’s earlobes pierced, to someone in their 80’s wanting a funky ear piercing, Wikilea’s got you!

Absolutely love this place. The second my mom and i walked in we felt extremely welcome. The shop is modern, clean, and not intimidating at all. The staff here listens to exactly what you want and pairs it with their professional opinion to create the perfect tattoo for you. 10/10 will be coming back.

It is easy to book an appointment via email. Clean and taking extra precautions during covid to keep clients safe. Following guidelines, as far as masks, hand sanitizer, distancing, and limiting people in shop to tattoo artists and those getting tattooed. As far as work goes, Ive had Jenn do several of my tattoos, she does great work at a good price. Id recommend this shop to anyone.

This is such a great place to get tattooed! Super friendly and welcoming staff. Also the artists are so talented. You do have to book an appointment to get tattooed since theyre not doing walk-ins, but its 100% worth it!

This is easily my go to tattoo shop. I’ve been tattooed by three of the artists here, but am striving to get one from each artist! The shop is clean. The employees aren’t afraid to have a laugh. And the prices are fair. You won’t find a better shop in the Atlanta metro area! I recently moved to the south side of the perimeter and don’t mind making the drive one bit; hell, I’d probably still frequent this shop if I was in a different state! Stop in, even if it’s just to peruse their artwork for sell! I guarantee you won’t regret it!!

This is hands down the best tattoo shop. It’s professional, clean, fun, and full of amazing artists. You are greeted by the nicest lady in the world when you enter. Shannon makes sure you are well taken care of before meeting with your artist and her energy can lift anyone’s mood. I have been tattooed + microbladed by three of the shop ladies and have plans on getting work done by everyone in the future. I drive 4 hours to see Taylor Anne almost once a month. She is so friendly and easy going. It’s amazing how I can just give her a simple idea and she whips up exactly what I was thinking but better! Her quality is outstanding and her dedication to her clients is really inspiring. I’ve also had the pleasure of being tattooed by Ceilidh. If you are looking for a great traditional piece, this is your woman. She is very sweet and really does make sure her lines and colors make a bold impact. Rachel can give you those brows you’ve always wanted. No more waking up hours early and hoping your brows are not going to be a disaster anymore. As someone who was browless, I never draw my eyebrows on anymore. She is very thorough and will make sure the shape and color are what you inspire them to be. She can also give you the cutest freckles! Dont let microblading intimidate you.. Rachel is experienced and will help you get that 30 minutes extra sleep every day.I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Rick. His attention to detail is amazing and if you are looking for a spooky gnarly tattoo, this is your guy! Rick is mostly sarcastic and is typically seen giving the ladies a hard time. Don’t let him fool you.. He’s really sweet and will surprise you with his loves of Morrissey and basic lattes. I can’t wait to get some work from him in the upcoming months. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Elizabeth Anne recently. While the newest, her range of work is very impressive and she is a perfect pick for wanting to get something creepy.Basically.. just get tattooed here. The atmosphere is what you’re looking for in a shop and you won’t be disappointed with the work you end up leaving with. These artists take their craft seriously and will ensure you have a tattoo that not only looks great but will stand the test of time. They are extremely reasonable with their pricing and will give you a completely custom piece. I will never regret the long trips for my tattoos and look forward to the work these guys bless me with in the future.

Jeff is awesome. I followed him from his last place to add a second design to complete a half sleeve. So glad I did. He took a picture I had and turned it into a beautiful design that fits the existing artwork and it looks amazing! Really cool shop too, everyone is so nice there!

I have gone to different tattoo artists/ places and was content with them. I then found out about this place and I walked in & it was so clean, nice and modern. The people were SUPER friendly. Ceilidh did my tattoo and worked around what I wanted and I am so pleased. I am coming back and telling people about this place. I’m such a happy customer.

Rick Rayne is the bees knees. Hes such a crazy talented artist and a cool dude to match. All of the other artists here are wonderful as well, but Rick is the one Ive interacted with. Everyone here is talented and pleasant to talk to. Ive been getting my tattoos from Rick for about six years now and Id trust him with anything! I tell him what I want and just tell him to go for it and Ive never been disappointed.

I wanted a small, two-word tattoo in my grandmas handwriting (she passed away a few months ago). Some tattoo shops werent very enthusiastic about a small tattoo, but Equinox was more than willing to do it. Ceilidh was very knowledgeable and helped me make a decision about the color so the form of the handwriting wasnt compromised or blurred. Everyone at the shop was so nice, friendly, and welcoming without the egos that are unfortunately pretty common at tattoo shops.When I showed my mom the tattoo, she gasped and started crying, saying Oh my God, thats her handwriting before I even showed her the note we took the handwriting from to compare to the tattoo. My whole family is amazed by how much the tattoo matches my grandmas handwriting, and it means so much to me and my mom especially. Ceilidh did a fantastic job and I cant wait to go back for my next tattoo!

So first off this place is beyond amazing! I called at 8:30pm and asked for an emergency tattoo, they were extremely amaxing in letting me walk in. Then my exhausted self and stupid gps had some technical difficulties finding them in the dark, i called them and an angel of a voice directed me to heaven and reserved a spot! She even stood outside for me!!! I explained the the situation of a last minute tattoo (leaf for growth and strength to keep away negative thoughts that are no longer welcome in my life), happily signed my soul and in a few minutes i had an amazing artist blending ink and skin. She knew what i wanted and the color even better than myself. At the end of the day i am extremely happy and everything from customer service and artists to the decor and cleanliness was hands down my new all time favorite shop!

I had my first tattoo done by ceilidh and it was the most amazing experience ever!!! i was so nervous when i came in today. my knees were actually wobbling while she put the stencil on me and they continued to twitch as i got on the chair and during the session. i was so nervous about everything but she made me feel so comfortable and open. i laughed and talked all the way through it, minimal pain! i got my tattoo on my inner arm and it hurt a lot toward my inner elbow (where they draw blood, she called it a ditch :>) but she always did the lining and shading and color there first so it would be over with. she is very sweet and helpful, even sent some pictures of the tattoo to my mom ! i highly recommend getting a tattoo from her and i will definitely be coming back in the future

This place is such a gem! Everyone there is so sweet and made the experience so much fun. Theyre not intimidating AT ALL and want to make sure you are 100% happy. The shop is super clean and they support local artists work by selling it up front. You can tell they love art and their customer service is top notch. There is nothing bad to say about it!

Went to Equinox for a tattoo from ceilidh.The tattoo just didn’t look right and I wasn’t happy with it. I went back and she did NOT stand behind her work. I went to Mystic Owl in Marietta and they were able to fix it and made it look great.Stay away from Equinox and go somewhere better.

Looking at Taylors portfolio, it was obvious the high skill level she has with her artwork but the most impressive part was how comfortable the overall experience was. She took the time to understand the small details I was looking for in my tattoo and I look forward to going back for more!

I studied 10 different badass tattoo artist from the metro area over the course of a year and narrowed my decision down to Rick Rayne. I knew I had made the right decision from the start. He over delivered with his attention to detail and tying in all of the different elements during the final session of the tattoo, mind blown! Well worth the money!!! Good tattoos arent cheap and cheap tattoos arent good! YEAH!!!

I cant say enough good things about this studio. The place is spotless, and every artist there has great energy. Zephyr has been my artist for years; Ive followed them everywhere, and Equinox is far and away my absolute favorite.

Got through my first session. Will be back to finish out the work that has been started. Easy place to go for a walk in as everyone seemed pretty helpful to the people I witnessed walk in. If you have complex ideas just make an appointment and expect to wait a little while. So far Rick is doing an insane job.

This is a really great place to get ink! The shop has a cozy lobby area where you can check out artists portfolios, and at a glance you can tell the spacious work area is cool and clean. Shannon at the front desk as well as the artists are all friendly, very professional and helpful, and just all-round awesome. I found this place because my girlfriend was getting work done by Taylor Anne (which is also incredible, but this is my review of my experience) and I was originally looking to do a cover up as my next project, but one thing led to another...I looked at all artists portfolios (as well as on Instagram), they are all talented and have their own styles, so it is really about the particulars of the project you want done, not: who is good here?I ended up with Rick Rayne, and my original want was: a horror movie sleeve to cover up a tribal tattoo. I communicated with him, shared descriptions and pictures of components I wanted, and he was very honest about how a lot of the ideas were cool and great and he would love to do them, but that most of them would not work well to cover up a substantial tribal tattoo. Both of our enthusiasm about a horror sleeve project made me decide to first get a new sleeve (which switched from arm to leg in the planning stages, just to have more real estate to work with) and while we work on that, thus also having more time to discuss and decide how to best tackle the difficult task of covering up (well) a big tribal.Rick was everything I could ask for, when I saw his work, especially horror/creepy tattoos, I knew I had found my guy. He is very collaborative, bursting of ideas, enthusiastic both during design/brain storming as while doing the actual work, he will tell you if there are drawbacks or trade offs to what you want, without pressuring you one way or the other, only striving to allow you make an informed as possible decision, so youll be as happy as possible with the result, really loves his craft, is extremely talented and very knowledgeable, proficient and transparent with his process.We have only done one session so far, and the picture does not do it justice, but it does give an idea of how awesome the result is. He exceeded the even high expectations I already had based on pictures of his work I had seen. I cant wait for all the future sessions!

I can say without any hesitation that Equinox provided me with the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. Having gone to multiple shops and artists before, the staff at Equinox go leaps and bounds further in customer service than anywhere else I’ve been. I 100% recommend this shop for anyone’s tattoo needs!

Absolutely grade A shop here. A small art gallery, along with a tattoo studio, the artist here are supremely talented and very friendly. I will not go anywhere else to get ink work done, and my entire family gets it done here.

This is literally one of the best shops in the Woodstock/Acworth/Canton area. All of the artists here are so friendly and just all around rad people. You won’t be disappointed if you chose this shop. 5 stars is the least they deserve!

They make you feel welcome,and you never wanna leave they are so nice and this would be a good place to get your first tattoo they really care about what you want, and what you are looking to get tattooed.

I’ve had two tattoos done here by the owner loved them but she was wired about putting a poem on my ribs kept making excuses about adding punctuation when there’s not a lot of tattoos with punctuation on them and I doubt people who read the tattoo will be grammar police about it if you couldn’t do the tattoo that’s all you had to say and its odd that there are no POC on there Instagram page
