Lost Lagoon Tattoo

I have been tattooed at Lost Lagoon close to a dozen times and by several of the artists. I have had nothing but phenomenal experiences. Every tattooer is wicked talented and between them all, you could get just about any style of tattoo you can think of. The scheduling team is super responsive and helpful for making appointments. I’ve had to reschedule on a couple of occasions and the owners and artists have been so kind and flexible with me. Highly recommend LLT!

Came to see Viv for my very first tattoo and it was the best experience I ever could’ve had for a first tattoo!!!! Her energy is SO incredibly positive I immediately felt so comfortable right when I walked in and throughout the entire service! She made sure to communicate with me about what exactly I wanted and where I wanted it to make sure there was no confusion and I appreciated that so so much!!! Safe to say I will be getting a lot more tattoos and they will definitely be done here!!!! 100000/10 recommend :)

Love this place!!! Ive been on the hunt for a quality shop for years, stumbled upon the lost lagoon Instagram and Connies page and booked an appointment. Connie is phenomenal, and nailed the pet portrait requested. Seriously better than I ever could have imagined! The artwork, attention to detail, and overall experience was the best Ive ever had in a shop. Will 100% be back and I definitely recommend this place! Krissy was tattooing being us, and did the most amazing black and grey plague doctor tattoo. Jessy was a ball of sunshine, and her adventure time tattoo was so perfect. Overall great experience with Connie at Lost Lagoon. Everything from my consultation to appointment was easy and comfortable with her. The shop itself was easy to locate, clean, and welcoming. Not only did the time fly by but she was able to take my thrown out ideas and make it into a cool composition that was executed with her amazing technical skills. Super happy with the whimsical tribute to my dogs! Highly recommend, if youre looking for quality work and a laid back atmosphere this is the place.

This place has a super comfortable feel. You walk in an you just feel welcome and calm. Definitely one of the best tattoo shops Ive been to. Krissy did a fabulous job on my tattoo and shes always so accommodating and her artistic talent is out of this world. Steve and Vivian were also so welcoming and just give the shop a great vibe. Was an awesome experience cant wait to go back.The shop itself is clean and cozy. Colors and artwork on the walls give for a good atmosphere. And the fountain out the front window gives a good view while being tattooed haha.The website was super informative which I greatly appreciated, had info for parking and what was offered. Really fantastic tattoo shop!! I went and saw the artist Sunshine for an adorable Hello Kitty boxer tattoo. Shes a huge sweetheart and pleasant to get work from. More importantly, though, shes a fantastic artist and my tattoo turned out perfectly! Def highly recommend Sunshine for any adorable, fun, colorful ink!

Great experience. Vivin was very friendly, professional, and prompt. I wasnt sure exactly how I wanted the piece to look, and at no point did she rush me. She listened to everything I suggested and was able to get it exactly how I wanted it.I will 💯 come back for more.

Steve Sims is a great artist. He can do just about any idea you give him and make it unique. My recent one is the water color tree; the other 3 are what he did on my boyfriend. Amazing work!

Vivian and Steve are the perfect dynamic duo; Vivian on the business side is very responsive to emails and helpful with questions. Then, when you’re in the shop, she’s fun and friendly from start to finish! Steve is amazing at what he does and you can tell by his work that he loves it because he puts his heart into it. I have received so many compliments on the two pieces I’ve had done, he brought my ideas to life and puts in perfect details. I can’t even see myself getting tattooed by anyone else! In addition, Lauren is amazing when it comes to permanent makeup! I’ve never felt so confident with my eyebrows and many friends cannot tell that they’re tattooed!

The artists are absolutely incredible! Came in and got some simple tattoos and I could not be more pleased with how they came out. Told the artist to have fun with the colors and we were not disappointed one bit! If you are getting your first tattoo or adding to the collection, this is the place to go!

I just got my second tattoo at Lost Lagoon Tattoo . I got my first one there last year . These were not decisions I made lightly . I did a lot of research and talked to a lot of people . Two different places I spoke to , were just not the right fit . I ended up going to Lost Lagoon by a recommendation of a respected FB friend . When I contacted them , they were kind, and willing to do a very small project on a senior getting their first ever tattoo. I found their place to be welcoming and clean , it was like visiting a friends house .Jessie did my first tattoo , a post it note from my beloved daughter . It was important that it look exactly like my daughters writing , and it was perfect . It was this positive experience that led to my decision to have my daughters portrait done one year later . Again, the most important thing to me was the authenticity and Steve did not disappoint . He captured my daughters essence so well . I am four days in , and it is healing so nicely !I could go on and on , but Ill spare you the ramblings of an old lady , LOL ! If you want a quality tattoo from super nice people , get on their books .

Second time I’ve been to this shop and had just as great experience as I did the first time. The staff is very friendly. While under the tattoo gun, they make easy conversation to make the time go by. I’m already contemplating my next tattoo!

I’ve gotten many tattoo pieces done by various artists at lost lagoon. I love this atmosphere and the artists so much. They are all amazing and friendly, they make your visit seem like a hang out with your close friends and makes the time fly while getting tattooed. Each time is such a great experience which makes me keep coming back for their incredible work what ever style I’m feeling. Lost lagoon is a clean shop and take your safety seriously with a clean and sterile station after each client.

I have been to lost lagoon for two tattoos. My first was a very simple small piece. Very well done and Jessie was so sweet to work with! My second a much larger piece by Sunshine. She brought my vision to life, exceeded my expectations and is just a joy. everyone at the shop is so friendly, its a beautiful place and I hope to get many more tattoos from them!!! I have had multiple tattoos done here, as well as getting a full face of cosmetic makeup done (brows, lids, & lips). Every person here is wonderful & does a fantastic, professional job, leaving me looking better when I leave than when I walked in!!! First time here. I booked on appointment with Vivin after she posted that she had a goal to do so many bum tattoos by the end of summer. I asked her what she was interested in doing and I chose a mandala. I opted for color, but had no preference in what colors she chose. I received a reminder email one week before my appointment. I arrived to the appointment and Vivin was finishing up with the colors before we got started. From beginning to end, it took about 4 hours from my appt time until I left. The bum hurt more than some of my other tattoos, but Vivin made sure I took breaks to stretch and she was very easy to talk to. The other artist that work there were also very friendly and easy to talk to. I would 100% recommend Lost Lagoon to anyone and will absolutely be going back to Vivin for another one!

Loved the work Jessie did for me! She took a vague idea I had for years and turned it into a work of art. First tattoo as well and I was put at ease every step of the way and every question was answered.

Vivin is amazing! She fixed my old faded tattoo and spruced up another one too because she had extra time. She was super sweet and easy to talk to. I love her ideas and style and that she was honest with me about what she thought would look good and what wouldnt which made me feel like she actually cared a d wasnt trying to rush me. I needed to purchase a gift card for my sister for Christmas and I just cant say enough about how wonderful the staff was. The Owner/Manager, Vivin, was especially nice and extremely helpful in getting me what I needed. Two of my younger sisters get tattooed here and just love everyone that works at the shop.

This is a great shop filled with talented, knowledgeable artists! So far, Ive had the pleasure of working with Jessie, Sunshine, Connie, and Viv whos apprenticing, and I love the pieces Ive gotten from each of them. The shop is always clean and everyone is friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have, especially Vivin. With so many professionals and distinctive styles, theres someone to fit any design idea who will make it a real work of art! Not to mention, their monthly Flash Friday events are an incredible deal and so much fun as a community event. Love LLT!

Ive been looking for a good shop since moving back up to the area from Chicago, and they have absolutely blown me away. Ive gotten tattooed here twice now, and will be coming back for more. I was referred to this shop from my coworker when I wanted ink done before my wedding in October since my artist has moved states. I was nervous to have someone else work on me but sunshine was amazing in the art she put out for me on my quill/feather water color-ey tattoo that when I wanted more work done I booked as soon as I could to have her do an abstract design on my arm as a filler. I absolutely love her work and the shop is beautiful and the rest of the staff super nice down to earth fun. My experience at Lost Lagoon Tattoo was amazing! Connie had completed my tattoo on my upper arm. She was a blast to work with. At the consultation appointment, Connie was very professional. She asked me questions to get a better understanding of the art work I was looking for and what I liked/disliked. Connie blew me away on the artwork she came up with. Even the color scheme we had collaborated together. Connie made me fee comfortable and checked in on me. The staff was friendly and we all had some great conversations. Definitely down to earth people. I cannot wait to get my next tattoo! Loved everyone one at Lost Lagoon.

I got my first tattoo done by Steve Sims, and I couldn’t have been happier with contacting the shop and talking to Vivian about appointments and what I wanted all the way to now as it’s healing. Vivian has a lovely attitude and was very easy to talk to about the process, and Steve did a wonderful job. Clean shop, clean process, and answered every question I had. He does incredible work, and I am in love with the artwork he tattooed on me. I know for fact I will be going back many more times.

Steve is an excellent artist that created a beautiful freehand tattoo that I absolutely love!! I was a bit nervous about it being freehand but he exceeded my expectations!! The studio is very clean and the staff was friendly!! I will definitely be booking my next appt with him!!

Steve has been my go to for 5-6 years. His work is phenomenal and I always get compliments on my sleeves. Krissy is super awesome too. Shes fast and gentle and always in a good mood. My two favs all in one place!

Came in to get an old tattoo re-worked and was lucky enough to have it done by Steve. He had a pretty messed up, old, awkwardly shaped piece on my back to re-do, and spent a lot of time drawing and re-drawing until it was right. Ive never had an artist work so carefully and diligently to make sure the tattoo was really done to their liking. He stepped away and looked at it several times and touched up what needed it and didnt stop until it was up to his standards. The shop was clean, workstations were clean, original artwork throughout, and Steve was on time. No need to look any further when ready to get another done.

Last weekend I made an 8 hour trip to Woodstock and my first stop in town was this shop. I cant say enough great things about the people or the quality of work. When you are going to spend 4 hours in a chair it certainly helps that everyone in the shop was very friendly and welcoming. I walked in nervous as hell and felt very much at ease by the time I got in the chair.Steve did an amazing job on my Bill Murray/Groundhog Day piece. While on vacation in Woodstock I had a number of people compliment it and that continued once I got home as well. It is so strange and wonderful to see a person catch this piece in passing and watch their eyes light up. It has led to me telling so many people about my amazing trip to see the filming locations from Groundhog Day. Itll be impossible to ever forgot the trip thanks to this piece and retelling the story on a regular basis.

This is THE top tier tattoo shop of the NW suburbs. Every artist is solid talent. The owners really put a lot of work in to make the shop special and it shows. Great vibes all around. They have themed flash events which is a great way to get in for a quick lil tattoo. I love this place so much.

Steve is a many of many skills and can execute so many styles of art. His versatility and clean, quick linework has kept me coming back for almost all my ink! Steve and Vivian are a pleasure to hang with while getting work done and the shop had a very comfortable, clean and welcoming atmosphere.
