Carli has done three large tattoos for me including a new one today. She is an amazing artist and tattooist. She goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and fully understand what to expect. She communicates quickly and makes sure to answer any questions you have. On top of all that, she is a genuinely friendly, outgoing person and fun to hang out with. Her private studio is comfortable, clean and perfect for a multi-hour tattoo session. If you are looking for a custom piece of art, go see Carli, you wont be disappointed.

I had such a great experience with Carli! She took my ideas and concept and made such a beautiful work of art. I had a somewhat tricky space I wanted filled and she really exceeded my expectations with filling the gap with a really creative design and lovely negative space. She was so much more collaborative than any other artist Ive worked with and made me feel like a person rather than just a canvas. It was my biggest tattoo yet so my body really wasnt happy towards the latter half and I felt like Carli was patient and understanding. I absolutely love my tattoo and the experience was just so great. Highly recommended.

The best tattoo artist I’ve been to hands down. Carli has so much experience artistically under her belt and after this experience I feel like I can trust her with my tattoos more than any one else I’ve had them done from. The process was a lot less painful than I’ve had with other tattoo artists and she actually was able to adjust her technique to better compliment how my skin takes ink and heals which was such a blessing to have. This was my first appointment with her and she and I were able to effectively communicate on how the design would lay out (as this was my original design for the most part). And we were able to talk about how we could go forward with future appointments to make things a smoother process for both of us too. It was very refreshing to have open and honest communication. Her style of art is so beautiful and it translates to skin so very well. She gives you lots of information on after care and uses saniderm for the protection of tattoos which is something I always like to use. The shop atmosphere gives you a lot of rich woods-like antiques and comfy cabin cottage-core decor and it’s very cozy and interesting to look through. I’m so happy to find a tattoo artist that I’m comfortable with and grateful for the experience I got to have as well.

So glad I found this amazingly talented artist! Carli has the cutest little studio and always makes you feel very comfortable and welcome. She even has a mini fridge with water and juices to help keep you hydrated and refreshed throughout your tattoo experience. (The juices are a huge help!) Shes done 2 tattoos for me now and I am always so impressed by the end result. Top notch artist to work with. She is very open with communication and making sure you get the tattoo you want. I will definitely be a returning client! :)

Carli is the best. She comes up with great custom designs and can tweak them to perfection! Cozy studio, stunning designs, great communication, cool person, great music. Cant say enough good things.Have gotten three tattoos with her already and plan to get more.

My experience was Great. Carli is amazing!!! She is with you every step of the way. From discussing and setting up an appointment, designing, and then the actual tattoo process. She’s a true artist that makes your ideas come to life. She is so talented and hilarious. Most importantly she is very communicative and makes you feel comfortable through everything along with being truthful and honest with you. A artist you truly can trust!

Carli is a fantastic artist, and genuinely wonderful person. Best new tattoo shop in the Appleton area? YES.I have done four sessions with Carli in the last couple of years. She uses quality products and supports other local businesses. Today, she did my inner upper arm (picture pending after the second session) and helped fill in the rest of my arm. She definitely helped me laugh through my pain!This was my first time in her new spot! She is a professional who will take the time to explain something and answer any questions you may have....this includes during the healing process! She is very easy to talk to (or not if thats your thing), she is available and easy to reach, and during the session she is always checking in to see how youre doing.She is a genuinely kind human with a great eye. ...she will not steer you wrong on placement or design.She is very talented and I am thrilled she has her own place.The place: Park in the front lot to the left of the building if you are looking at it. Park closest to the street - walk to the back door - stay on the first floor - go in the next door and her studio is first on the right - you will see her logo on the door 😊 There are bathrooms in the hallway. When you enter her space, be prepared to be amazed at the level of detail she put into decorating her space. If you are having a longer session and need to order food - there are multiple options!The place is VERY clean. She has a fridge with beverages...with apparently some of the best apple juice known to man 😉Its comfortable, its cozy, it speaks to her style. I cannot recommend this artist, her work, or her new location enough! (And she has merch - I got merch and you should too)!#tattoo #appleton

I’ve come to Carli for the last 4 tattoos I’ve gotten. She puts her heart into designing each tattoo one of a kind and the designs have amazing soul to them. She is great at making sure you feel comfortable and happy with the design, placement, and never makes you feel pressured.The space is clean and welcoming! She offers drinks (hello capri sun!) and a comfortable table while you’re having your tattoo done. She’s friendly if you want to chat, and happy to let you listen to music if you prefer.All my tattoos have healed up amazingly and I get stopped by people on the street all the time asking where I got them done.As long as she’s here, I am never going anywhere else!

Truly fantastic. Carly is incredibly easy to work with, and is really mindful her clients. She’s really good about checking in with you every step of the way. I can’t imagine a more seamless or comfortable tattoo experience.It also helps that she’s insanely talented, being a stunning illustrator and a top-notch tattooer.

I cant say enough good things about my tattoo experience with Carli! From talking about what I wanted when I scheduled the appointment, to answering questions I had about the design, to actually placing the tattoo she was very patient and took the time to make sure I was getting what I expected. Her space is clean, warm and inviting, and theres so many cool things to look at! There were plenty of opportunities for a break, without feeling rushed at all. She did the most incredible portrait of my cat, and I cant believe I get to look at something so beautiful every day. She captured her perfectly! Carli herself is super nice and funny, my husband and I drove 2 1/2 hours for the appointment and he opted to just hang out at the studio rather than bum around town like he had planned because we both liked her so much. Great playlists, too! If I lived closer Id be in her chair all the time, but Ill definitely go back whenever I can and will gladly send people her way!

I had the best experience at Carlieyed Tattoo. Firstly she is an incredibly accomplished artist. She is super knowledgeable about all things “tattoo”! Her line work and illustrative skill are unmatched. Carli’s studio space is clean and well maintained. On top of all this she’s accommodating and funny. Great playlist, too! You’d be hard pressed to find a more skillful artist in the area. Thanks Carli for the wonderful experience!

Carli was great!! She explained the whole process throughly, my tattoo in remembrance of my grandma turned out fantastic!! She cares so much about the quality of the tattoos she does! Highly recommend Carlieyed Tattoo!!
