Kelly is an amazing artist! I came to him about a year ago wanting a willow tree and he did an amazing job. I came back in December to start the second piece, a fairy and dragon, and we just completed it a few weeks ago. He is always super professional, easy to chat with and provides a very comfortable environment. Both times I brought in a very rough idea of what I wanted (I’m capable of stick figures at best so he didn’t have much to work with), sat and chatted with him a bit about what colors I like I don’t and how I’d like the overall vibe to be when they were done. He pulled a beautiful image together in both cases and more than hit the mark. I get compliments on both pieces constantly and couldn’t be happier with how they came out.

Ive gotten several tattoos from Andrew, and his work is absolutely incredible! He goes out of his way to make sure things look exactly like I want them to and in just the right position. Im going to keep coming back until I run out of space. The shop itself is super professional and well organized. They always work with me to schedule a time and date when I can come in. Im so glad I found this place!

Worked with Trey English. He has been working on this tattoo for me for about a year and it looks amazing. I’m never disappointed with his work, and he is very patient and takes care with his work. He communicates very well about expectations and aftercare for the tattoo. He is great to have a conversation with. Definitely ask for him when you stop by. You won’t be disappointed.

Jason listened to what I wanted, designed the tattoo and executed a perfect piece of art / twice! Once on my right foot and once on my right forearm. The line work is impeccable and the details are amazing!

This was my first tattoo, and Josh made this the easiest and most pleasant experience I could’ve ever imagined it to be. He is SO incredibly talented, I can’t emphasize that enough. The poor guy was probably ready to put in earplugs to block out my 100th repetition of the phrase “I love this so much, this is amazing”. He explained what he was doing and why as we went along, and made completely sure that I was comfortable, had time to get up to take breaks if needed, knew every detail of the aftercare he provided, everything. He made sure the design was exactly what I wanted, and gave ample opportunities for me to modify it and the placement, but he just did such an insanely good job that it wasn’t even necessary. He bent over backwards to accommodate me getting scheduled during a time that worked well for me, and was incredibly fun and enjoyable to talk to during the session and while planning the session. I’ll definitely be back, and I live a state away if that emphasizes it further lolSomething else that stuck out was how incredibly kind and welcoming everyone else was in the shop from the moment I walked it. The girl who greeted me had a wildly good attitude, and a couple other artists greeted me and asked about what I was getting/etc, it was great. I’ve been into a decent number of shops with friend in the past, but this was the ONLY one that had such a positive and clearly passionate atmosphere, I was take aback to be honest. Thank you all so much!

I cannot recommend this shop enough, especially Jason. He is experienced and insightful, and fun to work with.

I’ve gotten all my tattoos here from Josh. By far the best energy for a tattoo shop when you walk in. Everyone is so friendly and nice and the overall atmosphere and decor are so fun to look at. Great prices, easy scheduling and great staff. 10/10

Had a relaxing experience with my largest piece done at Depiction by Andrew. He is super professional, laid back, and did a great job on my arm. Reception is the real MVP getting my appointments done and being quick to reply to any email I sent. The shop has a great atmosphere and the owner is a boss woman like no other. 10/10 would always recommend (and I do)

This place is great! Everyone is friendly, and Kelly did an awesome job of listening to what I wanted and took his time giving me a great tattoo! He even went above and beyond and helped to freshen up my older tattoo. Definitely will be coming back!

I have been looking for an artist for a while now. I was referred to Jason Mims. I tend to be shy. I took a chance, to be honest. I listened to every recommendation and in the end I followed his advice. I asked for a “cool tattoo” of something ive always loved.He has given me the best, most detailed and colorful tattoo I have ever gotten. Its healed perfectly (as per his instructions) and I hope to have him as my artist to finish my entire Nintendo themed sleeve.I have never in my life had as many people stop me and say “damn. Where did you get that done? And WHO?” So if Jason reads this, be awaiting my email! Mario is next. :)Ask for Tenley and she will set you up with the best artist for you!

Can’t praise Jason enough!! He was personable, professional and incredibly talented. He made our first tattoo experience incredible and special on a very meaningful day. He was so patient and kind and did fantastic work!! If I get another one, I will definitely be going back to him!!

Megan was wonderful. My daughter was very nervous about getting her septum pierced but still wanted it. Megan made her feel calm and she hit the sweet spot so there was no pain at all. 10/10 recommend.

Updated review: They finally have a piercer in the shop!! I came to get my rook done (on Feb 6 2022)and Megan was amazing! She made the experience very easy and as painless as possible because she was super quick. Loved her energy!!highly recommended!! Everything is so organized in there, they know what they are doing, you wouldnt worry about anything. Everyone is so friendly in there as well :) they will explain to you if its your first time getting a tattoo. Im sure I will go back there for my future tattoos!! It might be a bit pricey but it will be worth it I promise :)

Got my tattoo here and it was great working with Jason Mims. It didnt take as long as I thought but would for my first tattoo, Jason was understanding if I needed a break for a bit and he was fun to talk with about games and movies.

Very nice staff, and a very clean studio.Megan Z Malone (@maggiezmalone on instagram) was my piercer. I got my nose pierced and she helped me open up one of my old ear lobe holes that had almost completely closed up. It was a great experience with her. She was very friendly, and made the entire experience as painless and enjoyable as possible. I will be back, and will recommend anybody to her. Im glad I stopped by. Thank you Megan!

Megan did my ear piercings and she was great! I walked in not really knowing where I wanted placing but she took her time to listen to what I wanted now and in the future and gave her professional advice on what would look good. I got a total of five different piercings and I’m in love with the placements and the jewelry. The whole experience was so great. It was a great and fun experience. Defiantly found the only piercer I will ever go to.

I am so amazed with Sams work & so grateful that I get to have a piece of her art on me forever! Shes incredibly kind and even more talented. Drove 5 1/2 hours to see her, and Id drive 3x that to see her again! The atmosphere of the entire place is very relaxed and welcoming, and its decorated beautifully. Everyone there is incredibly nice as well. This is easily the best tattoo shop Ive ever been to, and easily the best artist Ive had the privilege of being tattooed by.

Husband and I had been wanting couples tattoos. And since it was his first I let him pick the style. After doing our homework and seeing her work we decided to go with Sam. She was great at our consult and even better with communicating with us what would work better with our skin tone. Felt little to no pain and my husband and I loved the outcome.

Chris did a great job! I sent him my inspiration pictures, and what he designed was above and beyond what I imagined! This was my first tattoo, and his dry humor/confidence in what he does definitely put me at ease! Will recommend to anyone who asks!!

Me as my husband had a great experience here! We went in for small last minute anniversary tattoos, and they were very accommodating! The receptionist was super nice and booked us with John. He did a great job and explained everything in detail to help us with tattoo placement. Also the place was very clean and comfy. Snacks and coffee were a nice little add on 😊 we will be back!

I got work done by Andrew Shelton, who is phenomenal, but the entire staff is friendly and great artists. The shop has a relaxed feel, is clean and is using social distancing and requiring masks. This is a great shop and you should come here for your tattoos!

I got my septum pierced by Megan Malone and it was the best piercing experience I have ever had! The studio was cozy, clean and the people were kind and welcoming, and was overall a really positive experience!

I got a memorial tattoo for my dad, who recently passed away, by Sami who did an amazing job with it. It is absolutely beautiful and i love it. I came back to get my nose pierced afterwards and Megan was great, she helped me pick out my jewelry and was so sweet. Definitely will come back for any other tattoos and piercings I get in the future

I absolutely love working with @maggiezmalone. I had my 11th piercing with her last week and like the 10 previous with her. It was smooth sailing. Friendly, knowledgeable and charismatic I had a great time despite getting some pretty painful piercings. She’s the only piercer I’ll work with and well worth the drive from my house in Burleson.

Incredible tattoo studio. Probably the best team of tattoo artist in Arlington. There is a fresh outpouring of encouragement, helping each other, teamwork, artist individuality, perspective, leadership, beautiful artwork, they appreciate you and you can witness the artist speaking words of edifying and the energy is good because of it. I’ve been tattooed by Shane Vick for several years, but I’ve referred so many people to this place and they’ve all become regular customers. Most of the artist are talented in several styles of tattoos but they all have a speciality that they are very strong with and they work together to make the clients and each other better. Excellent leadership artist.

The first time I walked into Depiction was for a consultation for my first tattoo. First off, the studio is so clean and so welcoming, on point. I had the pleasure of having Sam as my artist and not only is she super fun to talk to but she is immensely talented and I now have two tattoos from her and cannot wait until I get third. She really takes the time to design an original tattoo based on your idea. She also answered all my questions and concerns. My first tattoo was a 6 hour, one session piece and it is amazing. The other artists in the studio are equally as talented and they have plenty of books on display so that you can choose the artist that is right for you. Very professional studio from initial contact through our first appointment. Tenley is an amazing manager who responded to emails promptly, and continually kept me informed about my appointment. John Clark spent the most time I have ever spent with a tattoo consult to make sure he understood exactly what I wanted, and my daughter wanted for our tattoos. We arrived for our first appointment to begin our tattoos, and John confirmed what my daughter and I wanted, and to make sure we were both happy with the layout of each tattoo. He gave practical, and useful advice for the designs, and position; as well as discussed advantages and disadvantages of our choices. This tattoo is my daughters first major piece, and John spent a lot of time during the process explaining what he was doing, and what she could expect. She sat like a pro for 3.5 hours, and having an artist who cares as much as John cares made it so much easier for her. Thank you very much Tenley, and John for such a positive experience. Well worth the drive, Cant wait to finish up our artwork.update. got my tattoo finished yesterday, and could not be happier. it looks amazing. also got a second tattoo while I was there, and it is also cool. again, highly recommend seeing the people at Depiction

If it would allow me to put 10 stars I would!!! Im blown away with this shop and its artists. First off the customer service is beyond spectacular, your treated like a celebrity through the entire process. The artists arent ego driven a-holes like most places, they are super cool and nice family oriented people. I promise if you have been looking for a shop to call home like me dont look any further these are definitely your people. Plus the artists here take serious pride in their work and they are damn good at it.

This place is amazing. The staff is very friendly and professional, the studio is immaculately clean and inviting, and most importantly the artists are talented. Be prepared to make an appointment and have a consultation if you get inked here. They dont take walk-ins and tattoo cheap flash art youre going to regret years later. These artists will give you a masterpiece. I got a full color tattoo of a leopard and lotuses on my upper arm here about four years ago. It healed very well, and to this day its vibrant. People ask me where I got it all the time, and comment that it looks new, maybe a few months old at most. I went to John for mine, but all the artists are great. Just check out their portfolios.

Not only does this studio make all others Ive been to look dumpy, but the artists and service are first class all the way. Had a tattoo done by John (who was recommended to me by more friends than I can count), and he did a fantastic job. Its truly a piece of art on my arm . I also appreciate the extensive care instructions I was given after the tattoo was complete. I wish I had those instructions with my other tattoos (which I got at another studio); they may have held up much better. I will definitely go back to Depiction for more tattoos

From Tenley (front office- superwoman) to Kelly (tattoo magician) I am so happy with my experience. Tenley answered my sob-story meltdown after having a tattoo experiment gone wrong. And after much consoling on her part- I asked for her recommendation on who to see. It took her 2 seconds to name Kelly... and I have to tell you. He was incredibly patient with me, I must have changed that tattoo plan 3x... and he was very gracious every time .... got my tat yesterday and it is everything I hoped and more. Ive never had someone so professional and understanding- he was very gentle and even the sore spots werent all that bad .. will never go anywhere else ❤ thanks guys

These guys look REALLY good, their work looks awesome. Too bad these guys are horrible at returning calls or emails, after various attempts at setting up appointments or even trying to get return emails, I finally gave up.These guys must be that good that they get to pick and choose who and when they work. Too bad I was looking forward to having them as my artists. For those that do get a call back or an appointment congrats you probably wont be disappointed.

I was referred to John Clark through a friend who gets his work from him. Needless to say, the black and grey, realistic lion he did on my forearm sleeve was PHENOMENAL. The stencil going on wasn’t even as flawless as the end result. He killed it. Now I get all my work done at Depiction. Clean shop. Professional. Easy to work with schedule even though all of the artists are high in demand. Each artists has their own wheelhouse as well, even though each can do it all. Regardless of what you want, Depiction is the place to get it.

IF THE OWNER SAW So i asked For Polynesian tattoo paid over 2 grand wasnt Disrespectful or anything an i didnt even get the art style i asked for I dont understand Why? I put trust in the artist he used no ReferenceAnd decided to freehand my whole arm Without putting drawing on paper to Visualize The image he should have shown me to see if i aggree to it.And its Been depressing to have normally they do extremely good work an i came back? To see if i could get a touch up an the artist told me he normally doesnt do that an he really didnt want to touch his own piece he worked on like no one deserve to be treated that way when i gave full payment an was no trouble its still a good shop but needs to Clarify if they cant do certain stylings before taking payment i

Have had 2 tattoos here by 2 different artists. Great guys, they know their stuff. If you want custom, go here. If you want to pick off a wall, they have a book, but this isnt that type of place.
