We came in to have our four year old daughter re-pierce one of her ears. She was very excited coming in, however upon arrival our daughter became hesitant and didn’t want to get it done. Ally & Ashley did an awesome job comforting her by playing her favorite songs over the speaker and encouraging her to dance with them until she got the jitters out of her way. Even bribing with a yummy lollipop. Our four year old eventually sat back down and they got the job done. Ally & Ashley went above and beyond our expectations!

My 8-year-old daughter got her ears pierced at Rowan over the weekend, and the experience couldnt have been better!! She felt no pain and didnt even wince. She loved picking out her earrings, and I could tell she appreciated how Ally treated her like a big kid and addressed her directly when asking if she agreed with the placement on her lobes, giving cleaning instructions, etc. Ally and all the staff were phenomenal and even gave my son a lollipop and extra stickers so he felt included. Ashley, RN was my piercer and she was so sweet, professional and attentive! This was actually my second time at Rowan for my tragus piercing as a nurse was not available for my initial appointment. This is where the top tier service came into play - not only did I get a text from the manager Sydney on the day of my initial appointment, but I also got a call from the studio as soon as they opened (10am) to advise that a nurse was not available to do the piercing at my appointment time (12pm). Rowan kept my appointment on the books and offered to do another piercing. After browsing the studio & jewelry options AND taking a few selfies 😆 in the studio, I decided I would reschedule since I REALLY wanted my tragus. I wanted to add a third piercing to my lobe but have had prior piercings reject. I was a walk-in. Sam and Kayla were AMAZING at answering my questions and fitting me in.Kayla was an expert and talked me through the entire process and breathing techniques that made the piercing quick and nearly painless . I bought the aftercare spray and my lobe healed up within the month. Definitely recommend this location.

My daughter wanted to have her ears double pierced for awhile. We read great reviews about Rowan and decided to give them a try. They were wonderful!! From the time we walked in the door until the time we left they answered questions and made sure she was comfortable. They took their time and precise to make sure the piercings were even. My daughter said after we left that if she wants her ears done again that is where she wants to go.

I waited 18 years to get my second lobe piercings. I’m very particular about procedures and was waiting to find the perfect place. I am so happy I chose Rowan. Ashley was very patient and detailed oriented. She adjusted the placement dots several time to ensure that I was happy prior to piercing my ears. She was awesome. The procedure was painless!!!!! Paid $200 for a single basic piercing and “fancy” earring. Less than 6 months later, the front of the earring broke off leaving only the post. I had to remove, and it quickly grew up. When I went to the store to see if they could help me, I was told if it’s after 2 months, not their prob. Refused to give me new earring, new piercing, or any type of partial refund. When you pay a premium for a service/good, you expect decent customer service. Not the case with Rowan. Save your money and go elsewhere.

We had a great experience getting my 10 year old ears priced. Nurse Alexis took great care in getting everything cleaned and correct and it was over before she knew it. A great experience over all.

Driving through from ATL today on our way home from camp we decided to stop at Krog to get out some sillies. I was with my 5 and 7 year olds who have been talking about getting their ears pierced for a while. I have had piercings myself done at Rowan and when I saw there was where we were I said Hey lets do this! We dont have a Rowan at home in Orlando so we decided to seize the moment. From the moment we walked in Sydney was so helpful and friendly to us! Naturally my little girls suddenly became a little nervous, but she reassured them and helped them pick out the perfect earrings. I even decided to add a piercing (constellation) to show my girls just how quick and easy it is. Courtney, the piercer, was so patient and kind to my girls. She took great care in making sure the holes were well placed and even. The three of us had our new jewels and were sent on our way with goodies. If you are looking for a spot to get new piercing I highly recommend Rowan Krog District. A fun Mommy Daughters memory to have forever!

I visited the Atlanta location on May 26. While the staff and piercer were kind, I have been so disappointed with my post-appointment experience. Several weeks after getting two lobe piercings, I returned to the studio due to painful swelling and had to get one of my piercings switched out. It was honestly quite painful as well as expensive. I paid quite a lot for the two piercings and two sets of earrings only to then have to pay for another earring type. I really wish when I had my piercings done that the nurse had chatted with me about the gun versus needle option, and any risks regarding swelling using the gun. I had to get one of my earrings switched out to the type used with needle piercings as it has a longer post and while I was there, I asked if I should also do the second. She indicated that I did not. Now I am experiencing the same thing where the other earring is so tight and painful and I’m going to have to go to nearby piercing shop to either just get it completely taken out or switched to a different type of post (another additional cost). Super expensive and disappointing experience with Rowan to be frank.

We had the best experience getting my 4 year olds ears pierced. She was very nervous going into the appointment but as soon as we got there the team made her very comfortable. They allowed her to pick out her earrings and then walked her through every step. Nurse Ashley and Angie also pierced both ears at the same time which was amazing and my daughter did not flinch or cry. She actually laughed getting out of the chair right after. It’s been a week since and we’ve had no issues with her piercings bothering her, no swelling, no scabbing, and the after care has been a breeze as well. Lastly, we had a question on how to use the solution we purchased to clean her ears and DM’d their instagram and was quickly replied to with step by step instructions. All around great experience! Can’t wait to go back for my second hole!

My daughter and I got piercings at Rowan. The aesthetic is super cute and they are friendly and clean. I have it 4 starts due to the pricing of the jewelry. It’s extremely expensive and we still have to go back to get our posts downsized after 2 months so the out of pocket expense STILL isn’t over. We spent $432 for 3 piercings (including jewelry) that’s insane to me 😨 aside from the price we had a great experience.

The best piercing Ive ever got!! I got my helix pierced and had some previous issues with another piercing before (from a different place) and they were so understanding and gentle with my piercing it barely hurt. It has healed great i have a sensitivity to jewelry but theirs is great I had no swelling or itchiness or pain 10/10 recommend for anyone

This place is beyond amazing! I got my helix cartilage 2 months ago from another piercing company and the earring had become imbedded in my ear suddenly one morning. I was panicking and called Rowan if I could come in to get it fixed. They were extremely welcoming and helped me as soon as I walked in the store! Ashley helped get the old earring out of my ear and quickly replaced it with a new one, took about 10 minutes! If you are looking for a place to get a piercing in Atlanta, you must come here! Employees are wonderful and the atmosphere in the store itself is stellar!!

Very disappointing experience at this location on July 2, 2024. I brought my two daughters in for a 6:45 appointment that I made online. The staff was clearly ready to leave and the entire experience was very rushed. The lady who pierced my daughter’s cartlidge did a nice job. The girl who pierced my 13 year olds ears did one of them completely uneven! It looked ridiculous and she didn’t act like it was a big deal at all. My daughter got huge tears in her ears. She had to take it out, which was painful, and then repierce it!!! I paid over triple here what I would at Claire’s so I could get a trustworthy, knowledgeable piercer and this girl clearly had no experience. Then she had to deal with the back of the earring and my daughter said it was almost unbearable. Then I paid a few hundred dollars, received no apology and was asked to leave a tip. Which I did.These were birthday gifts for my daughters and the experience was completely ruined. They have a beautiful selection of earrings, but we were so rushed, we hardly got to look. Save your money and go to Claire’s!!! Or spend the same, possibly less, and go to a tattoo parlor where they actually care about you.Lobe piercing that was botched was $151.37 with tipCartlidge was $131.16 with tipNot worth it for inexperienced piercers. Don’t take 6:45 appointments if your staff is only concerned with getting out of there at 7:00 on the dot.Please Moms DO NOT take your daughters here!

We were able to walk-in. Which was helpful. She explained the benefits of needle vs device piercing. We are thankful for the nurses but more specifically Kayla. She made my daughter feel at ease! Thank you for accommodating us.

Took my 4 1/2 year-old to get her ears pierced. The nurse who did the piercing made the process, smooth simple, and helped to relieve her fears. Only negatives was we had to wait a little bit even though we had an appointment, and it is a little bit pricey. However, I like that they have nurses who do the piercings.

I attended a walk-in healing appointment and it was a great experience! It was relatively pain-free, clean, professional, and fun! Definitely coming back for more piercings!

It took me a great deal of effort, multiple people, and even a special tool to get their earrings out, only to discover that the piercing was so crooked and messed up that nothing else would even go in. This place will upsell you at every stage and give you an inferior quality piercing. Please save your money and go to one of the many fantastic places around the Atlanta area that won’t over charge you and will also do a good job.I would be okay paying more money if they actually did a good job, but not only do they not do a better job than a local piercer, they are actually worse!Do not go here. Go to a reputable local ear piercer or tattoo shop. I cannot say this enough, folks.This place pierced my ears over a year ago and in that entire time it has never healed properly despite constant cleaning and sterilization.Their default piercing is also extremely small in diameter and means you can only use their shitty, upsold earrings in your ears.Again, if you’ve made it this far in the review, I urge you to please not go here for your ear piercings.

I got my first piercings done by them, the initial experience was very good but they put the second piercing way too close to my head so the earing would dig into it, went in to get it fixed a few days later, and their solution was to make me purchase a new earing.

I went here about two weeks ago and ever since my left piercing has been really irritated and red and just last night my skin grew over the piercing and I had to get it pulled out by a doctor, which was very painful Because it was a square shaped diamond. I don’t recommend this place if you have sensitive ears ,also they don’t do a very good job at piercing placement they placed my second piercing way too high on my earlobe and made it to where I had no room to get a third one. Would not recommend!!

Do not go here please. Save yourself a ton of money and frustration and go to a reputable tattoo or piercing shop that will cost a fraction of the price and do it correctly!!!Coming here they had very limited options and tried to upsell me on every step of the way. The pricing was not transparent. Went through with it and 6 weeks later I couldn’t get my piercings out to change them. Watched videos, multiple friends tried, we could not remove them. I called Rowan and they said they would charge me $30 AN EAR just to take my earrings out. Went to a local tattoo shop and they removed them for free- and they even had to use a special tool to remove them. Then to only realize my right ear piercing was completely crooked and we couldn’t get anything back through without assistance and a ton of time so had to get it re-pierced. Went back to the same tattoo shop and they said they had never seen a worse ear piercing ever.

I have always got my piercings done at a tattoo studio but decided to try Rowan as I live close by. I recently went through a bilateral ear lobe repair and was getting repierced post healing from the procedure so was very hesitant. Nurse Ashley was so patient and helpful! We redrew the dot for the piercings probably 10 times just to make sure they were even/centered without it being over my healed stitching. She never seemed annoyed and genuinely cared + wanted to make sure I was completely happy. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend Ashley any time!The only con is that it is quite pricey (both the jewelry and the needle piercings) and you have to use the limited jewelry available. For example, needle piercing is $50 for 1 piercing and 1 earring (not a pair) is minimum $70 + you have to pay to come back to get it downsized. Device is more affordable but also depends on what you want pierced!

My 12 year old daughter just got her ears double pierced. She was a little nervous about the idea of a needle piercing but the staff were very kind and guided her through the whole process. Afterwards, they were very helpful and explained exactly how and when to clean it. Overall I would recommend this place!!

I took my 11-month-old daughter here today to have her ears pierced and had a great experience! She cried a lot beforehand, and we had to calm her down a few times. Throughout it all, Holly was extremely gentle and patient with her. I highly recommend the Rowan Piercing Studio. The place is immaculate, and the staff were professional and kind.

We thought Rowan would be a great place to get our 10 yo daughters ears pierced. It was very expensive, but she was so excited and they have nurses! They said there was very little chance of it getting infected, and if there was an infection, they would help us. (They use the gun). Our daughter followed all the rules and cleanings religiously. Within two weeks one ear was red, tender, and swelling (Im sure this is fairly common despite their assurances). Hm. Good thing they got us covered, right?! We called and were told to bring her in for an evaluation. When we got there they said they couldnt see her for over an hour, but we could schedule an appointment for next week. Infections can be pretty time sensitive, and you would think they would prioritize a piercing gone wrong over a new piercing, and make some time. Nope, cant interrupt the revenue. So we left, dismayed. The next day her ear was so swollen, you couldnt see the little earring anymore. So we went to a doctor and had it removed. I give them two stars because they didnt live up to their price and marketing.

Took our 7 yr old here to get her ears pierced. It was a little challenging to find given that we’ve not been to Krog Street market area before, but we were welcomed very quickly and had a nice experience with the piercer. We opted for needle piercing over the gun which is a bit pricey but felt that it was worth it overall. My daughter had a great experience and loves her new earrings!

I stopped in for my second lobe piercings after walking past Rowan. Id been thinking about getting second piercings for a bit but didnt know where. Cleanliness and quality of the piercing were my top priorities because I dont want to deal with anything getting infected. I liked that all their jewelry is hypoallergenic and nurses are the ones to do the piercings, so I decided I might as well get it done now.It was easy to do a walk-in. I just scanned a QR code to select my time slot and fill out the waiver. The woman who did my piercing was very nice and offered me guidance in selecting one of their two piercing methods (device or needle). She said either device or needle is fine for the second lobe piercing. Needle is more expensive and she said that its more important for a cartilage piercing, so I just went with the device piercing.You pay for the piercing itself ($50 for two lobes) and then purchase a set of earrings for your piercing. For the second lobe, I could choose between a few of their stud earrings since those are sanitized. I selected the 3mm Bezel Set Crystal × 114k Yellow Gold Pair for $60 since its simple and classic. This seems like a reasonable price for hypoallergenic jewelry.The piercing itself was very quick -- less than 10 minutes probably. Before piercing she disinfected the area, drew on dots for where the piercings would be, and had me provide feedback on the piercing placement. Its a quick little pinch and youre done.She advised me on aftercare and provided a little goodie bag with a branded pen and makeup pouch and aftercare instructions. You can purchase the saline wash for your piercing from them, or they tell you what to get at the store. They do a complimentary check-in after 21 days with their nurses to make sure everything is healing properly (I havent done that yet since I just got it today, but I appreciate that its offered!).I also saw two babies/toddlers get their piercings done with the nurse who did mine before I went. She was really sweet with the kids and made sure to try to ease them through the piercing process.Beyond the piercing experience, the store has a really cute variety of dainty earrings. I cant wait to wear huggie-style earrings for my second lobe piercing, and Ill have to come back or check their website to look for a pair.

Just got my ears re-pierced today after letting my original piercings close up years ago due to allergic reactions. Loved finding Rowan since they’re supposed to be all hypoallergenic. The nurses were super helpful & professional and the experience was quick & easy. The space & earring options are super cute too. I recommend the needle piercing option with flat back earrings. So excited about my new piercings!

My little girl got her ears pierced this morning and it went amazing! Ashley was so wonderful with her. She helped her pick out the perfect earrings and explained everything that was going to happen step by step. I had a great experience! I paid extra for the needle piercings and the nicer jewelry and Im glad I sprung for it. Both piercings were quick and painless and are healing well. I feel awful for forgetting the nurses name who pierced me, but she was very kind and accommodating when I got a little fainty at the end after trying to stand. Would recommend them if you want a quick but quality piercing!

The energy at this spot is top notch. The jewelry selection is wonderful. While my actual piercing and nurse who completed it were absolutely lovely there are some things this location has room to improve on.I knew they did walk in appointments but there was no one at the desk when I arrived, only one girl doing piercings, and a very small sign with a QR code about how to make an appointment. At around 1:00 I made an appointment for 1:15. By 1:30 I was finally able to connect with the one employee present to ask my questions, she informed me that the woman who did needle piercings actually wouldn’t be there till 2 and was able to move my appointment to 2:45.We were back in the store at 2:40 only to hear that again they were running behind and ended up waiting until 3:20 before we could be seen. Meanwhile there was still no one at the desk to consult, book, check out, help folks just shopping for jewelry.It seemed like a missed opportunity for a great company. Heaving someone in the store who is not executing piercings to help with flow, consultation, jewelry, details, and especially appointments would go a long way. It seemed like they were just over booked or like the slots that people are able to book are not long enough with out pushing the next client back.I will be back for future jewelry but unfortunately the bar is now very low for what making my self an appointment and being seen or checked out actually means.

Need a certified piercing location??…look no further! My husband and I took our 7 months old baby girl there yesterday and the experience was absolutely amazing! It was quick and easy. We scanned the QR code for the walk in appointment, chose the earring we wanted for our baby, and it was time to put to put it on. Nurse Shameka and co-nurse (who I did not catch her name) did a great job piercing my baby’s ears. Both ears were pierced at the same time to avoid her having to experience the pain twice :). Highly recommend you come here, you won’t be disappointed.

My 10 month old baby girl got her ears pierced yesterday afternoon by Angie. Angie was very patient and took her time even gave my baby time between ears to relax. The piercing took about 30mins for baby including the detailed ear care instructions. This was a wonderful experience and I would gladly recommend this place to others.
