January I got my cat portrait by Maria. I’m obsessed with it! Last month, I got a Studio Ghibli flash from Barbi. And next month I’m getting another custom art piece from Maria.Maria is incredible with neotraditional and black and white. Barbi does color work and anime that is out of this world. Great atmosphere and personalities!

My husband and I always get tattoos together when we visit a new state, and I’ll admit I suck at planning ahead so we called today to see if they could see us as walk ins (it’s also Memorial Day so major kudos to this shop for being open!!) and by our surprise they said they could see both of us!! Everyone is SO friendly and the vibes in here are simply unmatched. Very clean and organized. We both had the pleasure of being tattoo’d by the lovely Nina and she is a very talented artist with a gentle hand. We each provided a loose reference picture and she really made our visions come to life. I can’t recommend this place enough, and we will DEFINITELY be back the next time we’re in ATL. Mid December I went to see Barbi Dwire for a cat tattoo. I was blown away by her design. It captured my cats personalities in one tattoo.Barbi was so pleasant to work with. Maria did an amazing job on my tattoo. And as an added bonus, she’s also a super friendly and super nice person. The artwork was excellent and I would definitely go back.

Getting my first tattoo was nerve racking as hell but once I met with dude I knew I was in good hands, felt like talking with one of my best buds and at the same time very professional and serious about his art while still being down to earth. Kit was an amazing person to work with both as an artist and in accommodating my schedule. A very enjoyable experience and this tattoo healed up quicker than any other Ive had. Unfortunately she is going to be moving soon, but I would recommend keeping an eye up for any guest artist appointments with her and book them up!I also enjoyed the studio which was small but clean, efficient and cozy. The set up included a TV which made the tattoo time fly by.

All my tattoos have been done here at Apocalypse. They have fantastic artist/people that work here. I always feel welcomed and comfortable here. The aesthetic is one of a kind. I’ve had Maria do a fantastic job on a Halloween flash tattoo last year. Amazing work! Most recently I had David do an amazing Tokyo Ghoul tattoo. Couldn’t be happier with these artist and place. You can’t go wrong with any artist here.

What an absolutely incredible experience!! Nicole Willingham is a master at her craft. Period. I do not have a photo yet that does her work on me justice. We had great conversation! Had work done By the big cheese Ryan Willingham @ ig- Shamrock_shonin. Dude does phenomenal work. Sat through a whole day, and a partial to get my Shinron completed. Worth every penny. Staff is super friendly 10/10, shop is extra clean 10/10. Communication 10/10. I recommend his shop to everyone! 10/10.

I have tattoos from Gabi, Wayman, Ryan, and Adam which are all brilliant. I would recommend Apocalypse to anyone wanting to get work done. I reached out to the company after reviewing each artists work and narrowed it down to two artists and reached out via the website. The owner got back to me within 12 hours and recommended Wayman. I then reached out to Wayman who also got back to me within 12 hours. We scheduled a zoom call and immediately I knew this was my guy. He walked me through the entire process from design to completion. We reviewed some ideas I had, and he just ran with it coming up with several great designs! (maybe hes trying to get me to come back ;) ). It was a great experience, I highly recommend Apocalypse Tattoo and Wayman Humpries! Will definitely be back soon!

I walked in on a Wednesday on a whim..from the receptionist to my tattoo artist Gabi, the experience was flawless. Gabi was super nice, professional and did a killer job. By far my best tat experience. The whole staff was very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward to booking with them again. Thanks Gabi and team.

After having my appointment abruptly cancelled on me by another shop, I was in need of a new home to get my tattoos (check the other reviews to hear about that experience). During my search for Atlanta based shops, these guys showed up on my list before, but I ultimately didnt end up choosing them at first. Im sad I didnt. Everything about this shop felt much better -- the staff were friendly and welcoming, theres tons of nerd culture stuff around, and there are TVs set up everywhere to watch whatever is playing at the time.While my idea wasnt anime/gaming inspired, it was a fantasy piece, so I set my appointment up with Maria, who seemed to have the kind of style I was looking for to have this done. The deposit was $100 to hold the spot, but like most shops, that went to the price of the tattoo. I explained the idea, and waited patiently for the date to come.My day came a little early as she had a spot to fill, and wanted to know if I wanted to take it, which I obliged. When I arrived, she showed me the initial design, sized it, etc. I realized afterwards I wanted a bit of a modification done to it, and she was incredibly receptive to the change and made it without even batting an eye.Despite her typical policy of only doing six hour sittings, she ended up going an extra hour or so to finish the piece, which I was incredibly grateful for. She was detailed, meticulous, and her line work came out beautifully. This was also the first tattoo where I decided to have some color put into it, and I was stunned by how it looked.I would easily recommend this place to anyone looking for ink in the Atlanta area, and look forward to going back for my next piece.

I met Nicole at a tattoo convention in Columbus. Due to health issues my line work couldnt be finished at the con. I scheduled an appointment for seven month later and Nicole kept the stencil the entire time. She is so talented, patient, and caring to her clients (even half way across the country). We kept in contact all seven months preparing for the big day and let me tell you. Ot os completely worth it. She even gave me a discount I wasnt prepared for - she charged me the convention price instead of her usual.

I have never felt safer in a tattoo shop than at Apocalypse. Every artist is both BRILLIANT and incredibly accepting. I’ll never go anywhere else for tattoos. There’s a TV in every room, so you can watch a movie or a few anime episodes while getting tattooed. Pricing is also very fair and super transparent! Huge shout out to Ryan, Nicole, and Wayman!

One of my favorite shops in Atlanta! Ive been tattooed by Gabi multiple times, and each experience has been so calm and positive! Shes very conscious of when I need to take a break, and she doesnt have a heavy hand. Her work continues to improve, and I always walk away happy with the piece shes given me.

I got tattooed by Kit Corbett last Saturday and I will say it was the best tattoo experience Ive ever had. The shop itself was very clean, very comfortable and it was a beautiful space. Everyone I met was incredibly friendly, charismatic and helpful. Kit was absolutely wonderful, not only did she draw my tattoo better than I imagined myself, but she was also incredibly kind, gentle, and all around a wonderful human being who made the process very easy for me. She made me truly feel like I was in a safe space, and that was very important to me. I absolutely love my tattoo (I actually almost cried with happiness when we were done), and I cannot wait for Kit to come back to town so I can get another piece by her and I will definitely be booking appointments with the other talented artists in the future! 1000% recommend this place!

I’ve been getting my tattoos done here for almost the past year. My artist Wayman is extremely talented, very professional and friendly. The staff is very welcoming as well. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Everyone working there is top tier!

Scheduled an appt with Gabi Jones and paid a deposit. When we were emailing about the idea, I asked about tattooing a quote and they responded, Id love to do that!!! The day of the appointment, I show up and Gabi refuses to tattoo what I explicitly requested in my original email. They want to do two of the words, leaving off the other eight words of the quote we agreed on because they thought the other words didnt really add anything to it. I say I dont want it anymore and they refuse to refund my deposit even though they clearly baited and switched tattoos on me.If trusting your artist to give you what you agree on and pay a deposit for is important to you then avoid this shop. Their artists seem decent but their business practices arent.

I got a Tattoo by Maria ! If you go definitely ask for geez. She does amazing work and truly cares about her art and customers. She has great ideas to make the piece as great as it can be and you can tell she loves what she does. Wouldn’t want to get tattooed by anyone else.

I went to Apocalypse Tattoo to see their talented resident anime artist Drew, and I am so pleased with his work and professional demeanor. I requested a custom Haku from Spirited Away, and he designed a stunning manga style piece for my leg. His speed and communicative nature really helped me to not focus on the pain, and the tattoo was finished in two hours. Definitely an amazing shop, and worth the visit!

Today I got tattooed by Nicole, and let me tell you, she exceeded my expectations and did such a phenomenal job. I had two floral rib pieces and they came out better than expected. She was warm, inviting, and always made sure I was comfortable. You can tell she enjoys what she does and is super understanding and down to earth. She does get booked really fast. I came in in January and left my deposit and got tattooed today on March 29. It was definitely worth the wait. Shes patient and genuinely wants you to be happy. Not only is Nicole super sweet, the other staff are great as well! I highly recommend this shop. Thanks Nicole, theres more to come!

Gabi Jones gave me my dream tattoo!! I came in with a vague idea of what I wanted and she gave me the most incredible portrait of a moth girl! Wonderful bedside manner and a joy to work with. Ill be going back next time Im in Atlanta :)

Got my tattoo done by Nicole, and it looks amazing. Havent stopped getting compliments from people I know and bystanders. She was just as excited as I was to do this tattoo, which let me know she was going to do a great job. Everything was friendly and professional from the consultation to walking out the door with an amazing piece of artwork. The shops aftercare advice is great; my tattoo fully healed within less than a week! Will definitely be getting my tats from here for now on.

My go to for all things anime and game tattoo related. This is basically a second home for me. The atmosphere is very welcoming and spending the entire day getting stuck with needles has never been nicer. Ask for Nicole or wayman, tell them Shy sent you.

Yesterday I spent the day getting tattooed by the awesomely kind Nicole Willingham :) I came to her with a pretty distinct concept for a custom tattoo and she took my idea and made it even more amazing! The whole experience was great, she is great at communication from emailing back and forth all the way to discussing final adjustments to the tattoo right before she starts. She is very focused on your happiness with the work and is very open to suggestions with a great attitude. She is also great at making sure you are as comfortable as possible while getting tattooed (hey, we all know its going to still hurt and/or be uncomfortable to an extent no matter what). Plus she is just super fun to talk to, but also knows when to let you focus. The only problem I have now is that I love my tattoo so much I just want a million more from her ;)

I had a 13 hour tattoo done by Nicole here and I cant recommend this shop enough. Each artist has their own room, which is nice for privacy if you need it. Nicole was wonderful to work with and did an amazing job with my piece. Ive talked with everyone at the shop, and they all were nice and easy to talk to. Clean, comfy, and great work all around!

I absolutely adore this hidden gem of the tattoo world in buckhead. Nicole has tattooed me twice over the last few years and both of my experiences have been so easy and pleasant. She is the kindest and most patient of artists and is amazingly gifted in what she does. I also love that they have movies playing in all the rooms so that you have a good distraction from potentiallly painful periods of your tattoo process if need be. I cannot recommend this place enough based on the talent of artistry among the artists as well the level of professionalism and kindness and fun you get when you are there. My tattoo artist Wayman understood what I was looking for and delivered accordingly. Ive never had the opportunity to say, I have a tattoo artist but since hes done my first tattoo Ive never thought about going elsewhere. Hes down to earth, mad understanding and very creative. If youre looking for something out if the box, hes the man. Trust me. I love that shop!!! Great job guys!!!

This is an awesome shop. The artists are a great group, they care a ton about what they create, make awesome tattoos, and are easy to get along with. Over the last couple of years Ive gone to Ryan for a few pieces. I keep going back because Ryan delivers great artwork, is up front about everything, does what he says, is good company, and always does a great job. I highly recommend Ryan and the other artists at Apocalypse!

Ive gotten a couple tattoos here, and so has my fiance. After moving to ATL, I began the search to find a new shop, knowing I would want a bunch of work done. I stopped when I say Ryans portfolio, and he, as well as Dan, Adam, and Nicole, are outstanding artists. Im honored to have their work displayed on my body, and my fiances ink gets compliments whenever its seen. Id recommend any of them for their service, talent, cleanliness, and personable nature. Whether youre a needle-freak, or a first timer, youll have a great experience.

For his 74th birthday, my dad decided he wanted to get his first tattoos! I knew that I had to find the right person for my dad. Three words - GO TO WAYMAN. He provided the best tattoo experience that Ive ever had. He tattooed my dad, my brother, and myself. He was a perfectionist with the art (our tattoos are super clean and look better than we imagined) and he was chill and funny. He has great energy and made us feel so comfortable - we talked the entire time. Im so glad we went to him - zero regrets. The shop is very nice and clean, everyone was super cool. Just passing near and we found the place by Lenox mall. Nicole was great and made us time the same day; even stayed a bit late after closing to finish us both. Just a couple simple tattoos, but they came out great and Nicole was great about making sure our design ideas fit as we wished and would come out well for years down the road. Good shop, good laughs during tattoo, nice to watch a movie during the process.

Ive had the pleasure of being worked on by Nicole already 3 separate times . I highly recommend her as the experience was beyond great. She will even let you choose a movie to watch on Netflix while she creates beautiful art on your skin.
