Was my first time. I was very nervous. Bryce and others there made me feel relaxed!Very neat clean and professional. Everyone.Shop is out of this world great!!!!Tattoo was perfect! Better than I expected.

Theo is incredibly kind, patient, and professional. After doing extensive research for the right artist to do my first tattoo, I’m confident I made the best choice. He is not only friendly and personable but also made a genuine effort to stay connected with me throughout the process. And YES, I absolutely love my first tattoo! Ive already booked my appointment for the next one.

Started my journey in June with Tez. We did a cover then I came back today for the background. The shop is super clean, the artist are all very friendly an accommodating, the different styles are crazy cool. This place is A1.

12/10 always great coming here, spike loyal(Bryson) is the guy who has done the two tattoos I have and they are fantastic. The atmosphere is very welcoming and they know how to take care of you.

Emily has done multiple tattoos of mine, and thats for good reason! 👏 she has been a joy to speak to and is very welcoming. I cant stress enough how clean she is, especially in the work that she does😮‍💨 Im saying, ya, its relieving to be in a clean environment. If you have any questions regarding the process, she will not hesitate to answer any of them, and if it is your first time?? She makes it very comfortable for you. You wont regret coming to her for that tattoo youve been planning on getting 😂

Had a piece done a couple weeks ago and I could not be happier. Booked an appointment with Emily and she happily accommodated me within the short time I was in Atlanta. She took my reference picture and perfectly captured my amazing dog.She was easy to talk to, patient, and unbelievably talented.Outside of Emily the vibe in the shop was so chill and inviting. All the other artist are so supportive of each other and welcoming of customers. Not once did I feel out of place or intimidated.Thank you Emily! Hope to be able to work with you again.

I am absolutely in love with my watercolor tattoo. Emily perfectly recreated the inspiration picture I sent her, capturing every detail and bringing it to life on my skin. The colors are vibrant and blend seamlessly, creating a gorgeous piece of art. It exceeded all my expectations! The tattooing process was surprisingly comfortable. Emily frequently checked in to make sure I was doing okay. Her gentle touch and precise technique minimized any discomfort. She is an incredibly talented artist, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a beautiful watercolor tattoo. I cant wait to return for my next piece!

The shop is a good-sized space, has a good atmosphere and overall clean. The artists are great and I definitely recommend their services. The owner however was not always cordial or professional at the shop, as he knows this but doesn’t want to take ownership in his actions. His artwork is fine though and has a rustic feel. Cannot return to the shop as me and the owner do not see eye-to-eye. There are overall better, positive shops to support in the Atlanta area.

Just got my second tattoo with Theo at Golden Anchor. Not only is the tattoo amazing, everyone in the shop is friendly and inviting which made for a super fun experience. Would recommend this shop to anyone.

Came here in 2016 for a chest and shoulder piece. It was an excellent experience from initial communication, setting expectations, designing of the complex art pieces I wanted intertwined, and overall vibe. Came back in 2024 to continue going down my arm and it’s gotten even better. Hats off to the ownership and team! A++++

Went here on a whim with my buddy to get matching skateboard tattoos. Needless to say our artist Billy Ziro did a phenomenal job. Would highly recommend, and would drive another 6 hours just to get another. Very professional but really enjoyable atmosphere.

Got a large arm piece done by the owner. Love the work he did and he was super accommodating with scheduling and working with me driving from another state. Worked well to brainstorm my ideas and put them into reality.Complimentary snacks and drinks for customers, chill staff, good tattoos.Props to Golden Anchor and Theo specifically.👍

Just got out of getting a tattoo from one of the artists - Christian - and man I can’t say enough good things about this shop and especially this artist. His attention to detail is just insane. I asked for a very detailed design and wanted it on the top of my hand. They said it’d be hard to get all the detail in such a small size but he took the challenge on and absolutely crushed it!!It’s officially my favorite tattoo for sure.

Since January of 2023, Ive been trusting this location and Tez to create exclusively for me. I have over 10 pieces ranging from small to Large. I recently got a tattoo by Cristian. It was one of the best tattoo experiences I’ve had. Cristian’s work is amazing. The design was better than I could have hoped. The shop had a great atmosphere. The other artist are super supportive of each other. They kept coming over and complimenting his work. Cristian was very patient with me. Some tattoo shops have this air of intimidation, but not Golden Anchor, it was so chill.

It was my first tattoo and because I had a such a great experience, in every aspect, if I decide to get inked again, Golden Anchor will be the spot. Theo did an excellent job with the portrait of my dad and my fav peony flowers! Great work is coming out of this shop from the other artists as well. I highly recommend.

About 4 years ago i started working on a sleeve with Tez. The first time i got tattooed by him was a walk in inquiry about price and what i would like to get done. He listened, gave his input and we agreed on his price and started the tattoo. Ever since he’s been my go to tattoo artist.

I had an appointment with Lartez to get a full upper-arm tattoo of a Grizzly bear and I was amazed at what he created. The mock up was dope and the tattoo was even better. This was my first tattoo and I enjoyed the experience. I will definitely be back to see Tez. Golden Anchor was clean, friendly knowdgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend.

How do you miss a whole letter working from a stencil? Shaky lines and no quality control, it’s Atlanta. Plenty of places that won’t keep you waiting for bad tattooing. Go somewhere else or take a chance and then have another shop corrected like me.Luckily Atl has some great shops and the pizza is great next door 🍕

Bryson did my tattoo and its just gorgeous. I got to distract myself with netflix while I was in the chair for hours. He took really nice pictures after so that was really cool. It seemed really popular so the other artists must be great too. This is my first color tattoo and largest one yet, I couldnt be happier.

Came in to get a tattoo as a spur of the moment decision and Im in love with the way it came out! Customer service was so good! I dropped by about 10 minutes before closing and they still let me get a last minute tattoo. Shop was super clean and really chill vibe. Bryce did my tattoo and he was awesome! Got the sizing, lettering, and placement perfectly. Its been about 2 months now and its healed really nicely. Really pleased with how it came out!

I had an unpleasant experience with my original tattoo artist and had quite a difficult time trying to find another artist who could fix his mistakes. Enter: Julius! He blew me away with our first session and I’m beyond happy with it so far! Ive always wanted tattoos but was very picky about who I let put something permanent on me. I had been interested in getting tatted since I was about 14 years old and it took until I was 30. A good friend of mine recommended me to one of the apprentices at the shop, Bryson aka spike loyal, now journeyman. I was blown away by the tattoo he did on my chest for my brother and havent looked back he does all my work and have watched him grow as an artist. Its been 2 years now as a repeat client and I couldnt be happier. Hands down the best shop around. All artist in there are A1 and the master of the shop Theo also takes time to make everyone feel welcome. The same goes for the rest of their artist. It feels like a family not just a shop. Ill never go anywhere else. I love this shop. If you want to see the work Bryson has done for me go to @rusty_gg249 on ig. No need to follow just peep the work. Thats all thats on that ig account. 10/10 would recommend anyone in the shop for a beginner or veteran tattoo enthusiast.

One word. FIRE! Golden Anchor is the only place I get work done. Great friendly staff, every artist is great. Everyone is professional and helpful just an overall great experience. I wouldnt recommend Tez. He does not listen and will not give you the tattoo you want. He wants to do his desired tattoo even when you are telling him you dont like it. Maybe it’s a habit of Tez that he does not remember the customers that he does this too in terms of not wanting to give customers what they are inquiring about. I see I’m not the only one, proof of my original review😊 His customer service was bad in terms of his attitude nothing towards the shop in general or perhaps his work. No need to be emotional. Tez adjust your attitude and listen to what the customer wants and not what you want to do. As an artist it is ok for you to give your input as you would be considered the so called expert but to demand what you want to do is unacceptable. He has no respect for the craft because he wanted to give me what he thinks is the norm and what he liked which was the exact design when showing me looking through what I call tat book on the wall because you can maneuver the large designs like going through a book and saying thats exactly how he would do it. I wanted my own variations.

First off this shop is amazing, super chill and just very relaxing to be in! All the artists are amazing and good people to be around. Emily has done two pieces on me thus far and she is always a delight to work with! Emily has a soft hand and is super accommodating when it comes to the design process. I feel like Emily truly understands her clients and knows what they are thinking when putting together the tattoo (placement, color palette, etc). I love Emily’s energy and her focus on giving the best tattoo that she can. Definitely go see her and get some beautiful new artwork done 💕!

This was my first big tattoo and I did a lot of looking before choosing a place to get it done. I chose to get a larkspur flower done by Emily. SHE WAS AMAZING! The work is absolutely beautiful and she was very flexible and excited. We probably went through at least 5-6 design changes and she made it seem like no big deal. The tattoo was over pretty quickly and was very well executed. I’m so happy with how it turned out and I felt so comfortable and safe with Emily. She is very trust worthy and communicates well! Would absolutely go back!

Just got my tattoo here on Thursday. I absolutely loved this place. The vibe is awesome. Very laid back. Im pretty shy and introverted but felt super comfortable here. My tattoo artist was Mr. Theo and I cant say enough positive things about him. Hes easy to talk to and made me very comfortable. He even let me choose what I wanted to watch while he was doing my tattoo. Im so happy and excited that I finally found my official tattoo spot and artist. I cant wait to go back. I recently received a tattoo by Cristian and absolutely love it! From the moment we met and discussed my tattoo design, he was extremely helpful, insightful and a great listener. I was able to send him pictures of what I had in mind before my actual appointment. The day of my appointment he was extremely patient and thorough in sharing his design and ensuring it was placed exactly where I wanted. He made a few tweaks to the image with no problem! I had not had a new tattoo is almost 10 years and was so excited to find him and this shop! It did not hurt nearly as much as I had anticipated and he got it just right! I cant wait to see him for my next one. His design work and aesthetic are fantastic. I highly recommend him and his shop which was also very warm and cozy as well. Came in a couple days ago to get a shoulder tat from Chico. This was not my first time getting ink but nevertheless I was still very nervous. Each time is a first when you are seeing a new artist. Chico took amazing care of me, he was easy to talk to and he made me feel comfortable. Told me if for any reason I needed to take a break to just let him know. He is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. My tattoo came out so dope and everyone who has seen it says the same thing, look at that detail!!!! I absolutely love it!!! The shop is clean and everyone I spoke to that day was down to earth and nice. I have already given several referrals. All the thumbs up!

I took a sketch of a design to Bryson at Golden Anchor. He digitized the design perfectly. He helped me select colors and was patient and precise through the entire process. The tattoo looks amazing. In the same session, he touched up a tattoo that I had done years ago. He did a great job with that too. It looks exactly as it did when I first got it. I’ll def go back to Bryson for my next one.

I had a great experience with Emily ! Shes very personable and accommodating. @wynningtattoos tattooed one of her original mandala designs beautifully on my stomach . Its a sensitive spot but she was as gentle as possible which I appreciated. Communication was on point through the entire process. The shop was clean and had cool decor and the other staff were friendly.

We had moved to GA 3 years ago and I couldnt find a shop that matched my one in Ohio. I looked up some tattoo places near me, looked on insta and found Golden Anchor. I checked out the work on their website and was instantly sold. I had an appointment with Bryson and it was beyond what I expected! He was so detailed and listened to what I wanted for my tattoo. He was super funny and stuck with me through the whole process and the result is amazing! The two other guys that were there were funny as hell and upbeat. Its was nice. Where to begin? Well, for starters, I got my first tattoo here! ...Even after showing up to my appointment late. I dont recommend tardiness at all, but even so, Theo was understanding and really chill about it. The atmosphere was really laid-back, clean and highly professional. While getting my tattoo, it didnt feel like it took more than an hour since he chatted with me and my friends for its duration. He even recommended some nice spots for us to check out around town (the Cuban Restaurant a few steps away was great!), which I and my friends appreciated. I was a walk in customer looking to finish my sleeve that already had work done. Its a very clean shop and the employees there are super friendly with excellent customer service. I was able to find Chicos profile, which instantly caught my eye and consulted with him the same day. I gave him some ideas on what I want and he was able to make them come to life. Hes a true beast at his craft and I highly recommend anyone to book an appointment asap before spots are filled.

I just got my tattoo done here 3 days ago and it came out amazing! I originally came to get tattooed by Tez but he was booked for the whole month. after showing him my design he referred me to pastel and told me she was the one for the job, I was scared at first because Ive only been to one other tattoo shop in my life and the tattoo I was getting was designed by me, had a deep meaning to me and needed to be done right. Sure enough SHE DID AN AMAZING JOB and I couldnt be happier. I will say pastel is not the most talkative or enthusiastic on the outside but her work really does speak for itself and she takes it very seriously, pastel worked with my budget and brought my vision to life! the staff were all very friendly, held the door, asked me how I was doing and things like that! I had a great time here overall and will be back! thank you so much pastel I smile every time I look at my tattoo!

Tried this place in hopes of finding a new tattoo artist due to my last one being unprofessional, 2 weeks ago booked 1st appt for 6pm... wasnt seen until 7. Julius did a good job however the personal attention I was seeking was lacking when other artists enter the tattoo studio where we were working. After having them leave we were good. Booked another appt and deposit for Monday april 18, get email from artist at 1245 am stating they were fatigued and would like to schedule later time for tattoo. Strike 2! the 3rd one would be on me so I asked for deposit back. Ill try yet another tattoo parlor.smh

Theo and his staff are great! Tez has done most of my tattoos and I must say he’s very patient, thorough, and very professional with his work. I can see he puts 100% into his work and wants to see great outcomes. He takes his time with every detail and listens to what the client wants.
