Pierced my daughters ears at 3 months and the person who did them and assisted us with this was amazing! 😊 Eliza thank you for being so nice and patient with my daughter and us parents as well that were very nervous for the milestone in our daughters life ❤️❤️

Worst hosting. They dont care if you really give them business. Very rude and uninterested in customer service. Stopped by after looking through their webpage. Walked away because of their rude behavior. Will get it done somewhere else. The real owners should take this store staff seriously as they are driving customers away!

Banter Jewelry (formerly Piercing Pagoda) at 195 Fox Valley Drive, Aurora IL 60604 is not honoring their warranties.My gold chain I bought there was under a warranty. When the clasp stopped working I went to exchange it (which was supposed to be free with the warranty) on May 30, 2022.They pulled out and showed me the identical chain, but refused to exchange the chains unless I paid $150 because they said the price of gold had gone up since I had originally bought it in 2020.I spoke to Customer Service who looked up my account and also told me by text that I was entitled to exchange my chain for free.I went back to the store the next day (May 31, 2022) but they continued to refuse to do the free exchange, even when I showed them Banter Customer Service texts saying I was entitled to a free exchange. They called the owner and she told me that she didnt care what Customer Service said and whether or not the chain or clasp were broken, I would have to pay the $150 for the exchange because the price of gold went up.Later that pm, after I spoke to Customer Service again, and they contacted the owner and then called me back. I was told that they no longer made my chain (even though they had shown me the identical one at the store) and the new model was now $150 more and they were sorry for the misunderstanding when they told me i could exchange it for free.On June 3 I went to the Lombard IL store location, where I had no problem exchanging the necklace for free, and getting a new warranty. I filed complaints with the office of the Illinois attorney general and the Better Business Bureau.I had to pay tolls and gas expenses to drive to the store in Lombard, as well as the gas for the two trips to the store at the Fox Valleys Mall in Aurora.As of July 22, 2022 Banter has given no response to my complaint to the BBB, nor made any attempts to reach me, although they know my telephone number and email address.Banter at Fox Valley is not honoring the Banter warranties.

Great experience working with Eliza. I was hesitant with all of the negative reviews, but my sister-in-law recommended them. The staff was friendly and accepted walk-ins for piercings. They pierced my child’s ears, provided cleaning instructions and let me see where the ears were marked before piercing. Would recommend to anyone else looking to get their child’s ears pierced.

I brought my daughter on her birthday to have ears pierced. There was only one lady and we waited almost an hour. We picked a pair which cost $54. The sales lady gave us a check of $80, which included the earrings, piercing, cleaning solution and a check up appointment. She said that at the check up appointment they would give my daughter a brand new pair of the same earrings and make sure the piercing was healing well. She didn’t even ask me if I wanted the cleanser or check up appointment and next thing I knew she’d charged me the $80. Well, my husband and daughter went there today for the check up as it has been six weeks since her birthday. There was a man there and when my daughter asked for the promised new pair of earrings he stated that it was just a warranty for one year. My daughter was extremely disappointed. I think the lady is deceiving us. First of all, she is selling us a unnecessary warranty without even asking us. Secondly, she falsely stated that this warranty includes a new pair of earrings at check up. My daughter was so excited for several weeks and came home so disappointed.

Husband purchased earrings as birthday gift 10/12/17, informed him thanks, however, prefer something different. He returned and repurchased different pair 10/16/17, same result. I went to store 10/21/17 to find a pair I wanted, salesman informed me he was going to REFUND the earrings to allow me to receive the 30% off discount that day. Then charge me for another pair and apply the difference. Completed the transaction, looked at the receipt and informed him he did not run the transaction as we agreed as a refund then purchase, he completed as a store credit then charged the rest to my card. Requested if he could fix it. He expressed he wanted to make sure the prior salesperson received the credit. I expressed, that did not have anything to do with me. Requested a manager, wasnt available. Went to store the following day, manager explained I needed to contact customer service so that they can assist her with removing the store credit to allow me to receive a check from corporate. Contacted customer service 10/23/17, customer service tried to contact manager during phone call, unable to reach manager at the store to instruct her who to contact to reverse the charge. Customer service left voice message indicating the store manager will call me back once she is able to reverse the payment. No call, reached out to customer service Wednesday 10/25/17, spoke with a guy same information as prior customer service rep. Floor manager left me a message Friday of her Friday/Saturday hours. Arrived at store Sunday 10/29/17, floor manager informed me she was unable to reverse payment per corporate, call them. Reached out to corporate customer service, spoke with rep for 2hrs. and manager Wendy for 1hr. They offered a store gift card, informed them I wanted my full refund, store credit and store gift card are the same. I had my original receipt when I arrived, agreed to a refund, not a store credit, salesman chose to be dishonest/deceitful & use store credit for co gains. It is 11/7/17, still no resolution. Horrible customer service, turned my birthday gift to a disaster. All I want is my refund; which three people told me they could do and decided they did not want to refund me my money. I will never purchase anything else from them again.I should receive my full refund.Again, Full refund, no gift card/store credit. I did not agree to either, when I discovered the salesman wrung the transaction wrong. I immediately brought it to his attention. I had my original receipt when I arrived, agreed to a refund, not a store credit, salesman chose to be dishonest/deceitful & use store credit for company gain. Contacted customer service as advised, informed I would receive a check, they gave me the run around, and now a store gift card and no resolution. Do not purchase from this company or Zales, they are connected.

I took my child to get their ears pierced on a Sunday. Noticed both employees were with customers upon arrival. We waited patiently. Finally, one employee became free and you’d think they’d acknowledge our presence by saying “hello”, or maybe “I’ll be with you in a moment”, or something! But no. Instead we were completely ignored. I had to say “excuse me” to get his attention. I asked about getting ear piercing done and was told weekends are by appointments only. Was told they couldn’t do it because they were completely booked for the day. We remained in the mall area and went elsewhere for what we needed. Each and every time I walked by, both employees were just standing around with ZERO customers. So much for being “booked”. Horrible customer service.

Customer service was awful . Salesperson was so rude to me and my boyfriend when he was getting his ears pierced. Kept trying to sell us the warranty and other un necessary things. Employees was very disrespectful when he marked the spot on my boyfriends ear to be pierced and I said it needed to be lowered a little . I’ve had my ears pierced 4 times. Just completely rude language and tone, especially not the way to treat paying customers. Employee was very pushy and looked like he hated his job and never smiled once .

What a great experience for my 12 year old daughter! We checked out Piercing Pagoda and Claires. It was a no brainer once we looked. The people at Piercing Pagoda took time to explain the process and to make my daughter comfortable, and she was thrilled with the end result. I highly recommend this store and will bring my other daughter when its her turn too. Thanks Piercing Pagoda!

My 1 year old girl got her ears pierced here. It was fast and easy but a month later, one earing fell off (thanks God she did not swallow it, we found it in the house). I could not get her in for a few days due the being busy with two babies, but when I did, the lady there at Pagoda said they cannot do anything and I have to try to put it back myself. I tried, but she screams and cry a lot and now Im stucked because I dont know what to do since the hole in her ear might be covered already. Not happy at all!!Update: they put a new earing back and the guy was really nice and understanding!! It was,fast and easy again.

Very slow, need more than one person working. The guy is taking forever and several people have left with no acknowledgement. I really wanted leave and not buy anything but my mother found something she liked.

Did not ensure that my baby’s back piece to earring was in place and it came out within the hour. Earring eventually got lost. No care at all for this issue. Do not take your kids here to get their ears pierced go to a tattoo shop.

Do not get peirced at a place that uses a gun, a gun jams a hole in your ear which can cause blunt force trauma, a hollow needle is much safer and better , go to a tattoo place not a mall that uses a gun

Terrible customer service. The men who work there are so rude and unwilling to serve or sell. I think the jewelry store would have more sales if it takes the time to select the people who will be part of its team since they are the image of the company.
