My daughter and I recently got matching tattoos from Hunter before starting our cross country trip back home to NYC. The tattoos are incredibly detailed and soBEAUTIFUL. Hunter was great to talk with as well. She made us feel so welcome and very comfortable. We all laughed a lot. Cool place with a cool vibe. Can’t recommend this place enough!

We took my ten year old to get her ears pierced today and Ryan did a phenomenal job. He explained every step of the process to her and waited patiently when she got a little nervous. Thank you for the great service!

I got my ears pierced here and it was so quick and painless. My piercer, Ryan, was really helpful in guiding me through the experience and what to do for aftercare. I was recommended this place by a family member who has been pierced here multiple times before and they loved it as well.

They did my Ole ladies nose piercing and they did a phenomenal job. 0 issues with the piercing healing and placement was superb. Family friendly if you have kids. Definitely will be going for more piercings and tattoos.

I went in to get a simple tattoo with my daughter, her first, for her 18th birthday. I had just started a second job and was on a time crunch that the person I had made an appointment with at a different shop could no longer accommodate. It was super important to me that this take place on her actual birthday. Called Ryan at Society 9 and he was able to accommodate us. He was awesome. It is a small tattoo, didnt take long and didnt require much care but he still was very thorough with her and told her how to best care for it. He even ended up doing a nose piercing for her and her aunt. The shop is clean, with a great aesthetic. We have an appointments on the 8th for a back piece and we cant wait!

Got my daughters, nephew and myself pierced with Ryan. He talked us through the process, made us feel comfortable and he had a great touch, we barely felt a thing! 10/10 recommend!

Ryan is very professional, kind, and informative. The shop has great pricing and the work speaks for itself. I am so happy with my tattoo. I will definitely be going back for future work. I just wanted to say that Hunter at society 9 did awesome on some of my tattoos. She does a lot of my siblings tattoos and does an amazing job. She made me feel comfortable when I was getting tattooed. I really appreciate this company. Heard awesome things about this shop would go again for another tattoo.

We went in for a belly & nose piercing, Ryan serviced us, he was amazing. Everything he used was packaged up and sanitized. He was professional, respectful, attentive and everything you’d want in a piercer. Even allowed me to bug him with text msgs after the belly piercing got snagged at a concert the same night. The place as a whole is a class act! it’s spotless, professional, kind and very welcoming! Definitely 💯 recommend!

Ryan was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Got both earlobes pierced and was in and out in 15 minutes. $60 out the door for piercing, jewelry, cleaning, and maintenance product and instructions!Highly recommend, just make sure to make an appointment.

Took my daughter here to get her bellybutton pierced. This place was very clean and inviting. Ryan is who pierced her he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will check this place out for some tattoo work.

He interacted with our very nervous daughter with compassion and respect, explained the process first, and followed through with his promise to let her know just before he was going to puncture her ears. I walked in and was immediately impressed with how clean the shop looked and smelled. The owner greeted me and was very friendly, making me feel very comfortable in discussing the tattoos I wanted. He wasnt able to get me in but was able to set me up with Angel who absolutely nailed both the tattoos I wanted to get. My friend and I came in for a last minute tattoo. And Jerimiah was great. Was willing to work with our ideas we had and was very patient and professional! Saw the other tattoo artist work such as Lee and Anthony, they do great work as well. Great clean environment to be at.We live out of town and is worth the drive to be back!

Tattoo was good, but customer service was rude, but one guy was really nice to us. The woman that helped us was asking my friend what you want and my friend was trying to explain to her because it was their first tattoo and the lady said “so you want letters and name” she was being sarcastic to my friend. Then the guy was late as well that did the tattoo so wouldn’t recommend going here for the first tattoo.

Love society 9, I’ve gotten all my piercings done by Ryan and he never misses. They have always been amazing, and super professional. The shop is super cool, really warm. Just love everything overall.

My wife and I have gotten tats in shops from Maui to Cabo and many other states. This is hands down one of the best shops we have ever been to. The owners and artists are great people and highly skilled. The shop is super clean and it has a very friendly vibe to it.We won’t go anywhere else for tats. We even brought my wife’s cousin from just outside of Portland down to get work done by Joe Solo and our daughter came down from Seattle to get a tattoo from him as well.5 stars are not enough. This shop is a 10 star tattoo shop. If you are ever in So Cal and looking to get some top notch work done check this place out.

My sister, my brother-in-law, a myself all went here to receive tattoos. I was actually very pleased with the two I received on my first visit that I went back for a second visit. Lee was very professional and very talented. We all are planning to return to get more work done. All the stuff is actually very friendly and easy-going a very pleasant environment

Ryan Smith did a spectacular job on my tattoo. He also fixed an older tattoo I had and made it look perfect. He was very helpful and friendly. The shop has a very comfortable atmosphere with good service.

Hunter (@hunterspearsart) has done about 5 or so of my tattoos for my sleeve and all of them have come out amazing. She is a great conversationalist and her stipple work is beautiful. She listens to what I want and I allow her expertise to do the rest. She is now my go-to for all tattoos!

Best nose piercing place in Bakersfield! They’ve helped my nose after a bad piercing that led to an infection from another tattoo shop, twice! They have great service, take care of their customers, and have great prices. 10/10 would reeeecomendend.

I love the location of this place and the inside of it looks badass. I’ve been going to Tom for all of my body piercings for about 2 years now, I always recommend him to all my friends and they love him! Every piercing is quick and painless he has a stready fast hand which makes the process a lot better. My friend got a huge thigh tattoo done of one of Toms original pieces and he did the whole thing in one day and it looks great! The color is sooo vibrant which minimal pain she said. Congrats on the new shop!

When I first came in they made me an appt a week from then. I paid my 50$ deposite and left. When I came back for my appointment, they were not ready and had scheduled the wrong date. The artist then pushed the appointment back twice until telling me about a day of appointment. When I arrived parts of the tattoo had been removed and I was not made aware of this until I was in the store. I didnt want the new tattoo that was drawn up. They said my deposite of unfundable despite it being for a tattoo they would not do.Mine may be an isolated incident but I would never advise someone to come here

Anthony Santini is my new go to tattoo artist. He is professional, and makes sure you get what you want. He has a light hand, I had almost no pain when getting tatted behind my ear and neck. My healing time was quick with little scabbing. He uses natural products on your skin for cleaning etc. The shop uses a special print machine to produce the template to stick to your skin. Tech has come a long way from using the purple ink and transferring with deoderant lol. Very clean sterile environment. He does some badass lettering, and his images are nothing short of amazing. I love the use of white in his work to highlight and make it pop. It gives it life. I want him to redo 2 of my other tattoos so they dont look so flat. I do need him to touch up the chains at the bottom of the moon.
