I freaking love this shop! Aaron is the man and so nice and patient and an amazing artist. He did great things to my right forearm! I highly recommend this shop and Aaron or any of the other artist! Super great atmosphere and snacks!

Such a great experience. Everyone was warm and inviting and incredibly skilled artists. I felt at home and very much at ease while getting my tattoo. Aaron was a joy to talk to during my session and I couldnt be happier with the end product. Ive already revived many compliments.

Aaron was a gentleman that pierced my daughters belly button. Is very friendly He explained everything He did everything to put my daughter at age so she wouldnt be nervous or as nervous as she was. He helped her to relax to talk her through the whole thing explain what was going to happen at every single step ahead of time and what to expect. The staff who was friendly also the place is very clean and you could tell they take their work seriously and are proud of what they do. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get piercings or tattoos. Great group of people. Thank you Aaron for taking great care of my daughter and explaining everything so thoroughly. Pre-piercing and for post piercing care. You rock.

Had been thinking of getting some new work. Aaron W over at Pretty in Ink Tattoo came up with a rad piece to show love for my running accomplishments and personal style. This place is amazing. I called in to book an appointment for a tattoo removal session I’ve been meaning to get to for a while now. Aaron was super helpful throughout the entire process and really knows what he is doing! Made the process a breeze and was super professional/clean. My daughter got 3 piercings on her lobes and Aaron was so comforting! He explained the process to me and her, and he was considerate of the fact she gets faint around needles. He made sure she was alright after standing up, too. And she even got a cute free sticker!

I reached out about a tattoo and I was scheduled the next day! I sent an idea of what I wanted to Aaron and he did an exceptional job. He presented some ideas for color and shading I ended up going with his suggestions.The shop was clean and welcoming. I felt heard with the details I wanted to stand out. Aaron does amazing work!

I followed my amazing tattoo artist eerie peach ( book her now) to this shop, from her previous. The space is very clean, and easy to locate and get to. It’s big enough to have space but intimate enough that there isn’t a ton of people around watching and making it loud and chaotic. The vibe is very calm and chill. I have been getting tattoos since I was 16 I’m 38 now and heavily tattooed, she is by far the best I have had. Very straightforward, if she can’t do what you want she won’t, ( she can do a lot so that’s rare) she is amazing with placement and seeing your view. She has a brilliant eye and her line work is exceptional ( most important for me). Also her gentle touch. One tattoo I was putting off for years she did such an amazing job and it was less painful then areas I wasn’t afraid of. All of my tattoos have healed beautifully another important thing. I have about ten tattoos done by eerie and more planned for future. And again there are three other great artist currently doing work there as well. All with different styles to offer.

Loved Aaron’s passion, personal attention , and creativity in getting this one of a kind piece. No doubt I found an artist for all future tats. Thanks Aaron!!

Went here with my daughter to get her first ear piercing. Aaron was fantastic! Amazing bedside manner that really helped my daughter who was super excited but is afraid of needles and shots feel comfortable and worked through it with her. He was extremely calm and collected the whole time and worked with us parents to work through her fear to get her ears pieced like she wanted! Will definitely go back for anything else we need!!!

I have had the best experience getting tattooed with Eerie Peach! I have gotten multiple tattoos with her and both times I have felt so comfortable. She is great at turning what you visualize into a beautiful art piece. I will definitely be coming back whenever I need a tattoo. HIGHLY recommend.

So when it comes to getting a tattoo, I come to Eerie with my ideas. I love how talented she is, as she is able to bring my ideas to life with the initial drawing and on my skin. She always makes sure Im comfortable through the tattoo process and just nails it with her tattooing. I also love the shop overall, as all of the other artists are very friendly and the shop is very inviting.

Just got my first tattoo here. I booked online with Kandi and I have to say I was really impressed with her and the shop.All the staff I interacted with were great and professional. I went in feeling super anxious and was immediately put at ease. Everything was clean. Kandi was just super amazing, attentive and extremely talented. I plan on coming back for future tattoos.

Went in on a Saturday to see about getting some work done. Ryan Daniel helped me out, he was very friendly and set me up with an appointment on Monday, I had this piece that I had been thinking about for a few years. He drew up his own version and it as great. Last time I was inked was 20 years ago, he made the process feel like my familiar routine. The piece he did came out very good, it was exactly what I had in mind. I was only in town for a week on business, had been to 2 other shops, they didnt want to help, Pretty in ink had great reviews , I choose them. Really glad I did, Ryan Daniel is great, I highly recommend him and this shop. Thank you brother for a great piece, I am beyond happy with it.Mike

I got my ears pierced earlier today and the staff was SUPER nice and made me not nervous at all. I walked in nervous cause it was my first piercing ever and wasn’t sure what was going to happen. They used very professional techniques and made me feel safe and the pericing backing dropped twice and they got a new one every time so i wouldn’t get a infection. I would recommend this to my friends and actually did recommend it to one of my friends today! Thank you guys so much 😊😊

I needed a very last minute but very important memorial tattoo. A friend who used to live in Bakersfield recommended Rachel, but she was super booked and asked of any of the other artists could squeeze me in soon, and Ryan said yes! I cant say enough good things. His vibes, his skill, his compassion, he is amazing! He drew exactly what I pictured in my head and laid it down perfectly. I was concerned about how we would work out placement since I have some scar tissue, but he worked right over that and now I have a beautiful Memorial tattoo that also completely hides a scar Ive been self-conscious about since I was 13. Thrilled is an understatement! Rachel was there tattooing next to us and they were so supportive and it was such a healing experience. The only teeny tiny thing I would say made me slightly uncomfortable was near the end of my tattoo, another artist came in that I guess must be the boss or something? An older gentleman came in wanting a pretty complicated cover-up and she told him that she would do it but then after he left she told Rachel that she needed to do it. And Rachel very nicely explained that she didnt want to and didnt have time but this woman didnt let it go. She kept bringing it up and pressuring her. Even when we went outside to take photos of my tattoo afterwards in the sunlight, she had taken Rachel outside to lecture her some more. It made me feel bad because its hard to maintain your boundaries with a boss, and much harder if they dont respect your boundaries when you tell them what they are. I was just disappointed to see one woman trying to force another woman to do something she said she wasnt comfortable with. But Rachel is so strong and sweet, I would have snapped at some point, but she kept her cool. I will definitely be back for more art from Ryan and hope to get a piece from Rachel as well. Thank you for squeezing me in and thank you for treating my grief with respect and dignity and giving me a gorgeous piece of art to honor my loved ones.

The people here are incredibly friendly. Its very clean and the prices are reasonable even during this recession. My septum piercing included the jewelry, which is very pretty. He even walked me to my car because it was after dark in the inner city and Im a bit old lol.

Got my piercing done by Maddie & just have to say shes awesome! Made me feel completely comfortable!! It was fast& easy she definitely knows what shes doing!! Would recommend anyone interested in getting a piercing!! My wife also got a tattoo by Bree & it looks amazing!! She took her time to make it look perfect!! She has a very light hand so pain was minimal. Definitely recommend this shop!!

By far the best shop in town! I had checked out a few other spots and I just couldn’t get that “vibe”. Called up Aaron, we worked out a time that was best for both of us and set it up. I had given him a reference picture as to what I wanted, but I asked him to put his own touch on it and make it different. He had a dope sketch out when I arrived and basically got started right away. He knocked out this big piece quick but did it RIGHT. He was quick but didn’t cut any corners and did really good work! All of his artists in the shop were extremely cool and it just felt right get ink from them. Highly recommend! Looking forward to my next piece with them forsure.

In the process of getting my very first tattoo here by Aaron Wherry. Known him for years as an artist and educator, follow his work, so it was a no brainer to seek him out for this. So excited for the finished result! I will be going back in a couple weeks to finish. Very impressed with the clean and friendly atmosphere. Ill begin with noting, Aaron Wherry did beyond excellent work.Being from Bakersfield, Ive had several pieces of work done in different local shops. After moving up to Sacramento, Ive also had several pieces or work done up through California. That being said, Aaron is with out a doubt one of the most if not the most skilled artist Ive had work on me.It was absolutely worth the drive from Sacramento. I look forward to future sessions. I happen to be on a business trip to Bakersfield from Des Moines, IA and had a few hours to kill before a corporate evening outing that night. For the past few months I have been itching to get another tattoo since my last one was about 15 years ago. Being a kid who grew up in the late 80s, early 90s I was instantly drawn to the name Pretty in Ink and knew that was the place to be. I called up and scheduled a time with the owner Aaron Wherry to work on my tattoo. I was ecstatic to find out that he could create something on the fly and I didnt have to get a standard image from a book and/or catalog. I arrived at Pretty in Ink and was completely blown away by the shops professionalism and Aarons attune ability to create my vision of a tattoo with a brief description of what I wanted. Aaron Wherry truly had the artistic gift with not only drawing out the image but adding several creative touches throughout. Being a business man myself, I was very intrigued and impressed with what Aaron had to share about the tattooing industry since my last time getting ink. He is a very personable shop owner and his customers feel at home. In what seemed no time at all, he had completed my tattoo which was a perfect tribute to my precious little girl, and I know whenever I am in Bakersfield again and itching for another tattoo, I will not hesitate to call up Pretty in Ink and get some work done by Aaron Wherry.

Came across this place by accident and instantly knew I wanted to be tattooed here! Jeff did great work and worked with me to create the custom piece that I wanted! He was patient with me while I struggled through getting my sternum tatted and the piece came out great. The guys in the shop are so much fun and it was all around a great vibe. I really love this place. We called in and everyone had appointments already. Which i was like darn it but could completely understand. Then shortly after i received a call saying they could see us! They changed the music to our liking (even though when i requested Usher he cringed a little lol) When i was cold they turned the air off. Like wow who does that?? The whole vibe with everyone who worked there is amazing. Did i mention that Nick did an awesome job on both mine and my boyfriends tattoo! If i could rate them more stars i would. Madii is the only one I can trust now for all my metal needs. She has pierced me 6 times already and I wont go anywhere else! Ive taken four friends to get their piercings with her and theyve all been pleased with their experience. Cleanest shop in town and all the staff make sure youre taken care of. Just thinking about it makes me want another piercing :)

First time visiting this tattoo parlor, and Im sure it wont be my last. I called to find out if I needed an appointment and was told to swing by the next day when they opened. The artists were very friendly and Juan (who did my tattoo) explained everything that he was doing and made sure that I was happy with the tattoo. Only things to keep in mind is that they only take cash, but my bank was close by so no problem there.
