This place is super clean, has an awesome vibe, and the artists are incredibly talented and friendly. Highly recommend.

I had won a gift certificate from Jessy at a raffle. The entire process from meeting with Jessy to go over my ideas, communicating with her, and the actual tattooing is well worth more than 5 stars. Jessy listened to my thoughts, took what I was describing and created a beautiful tattoo for my boys. The shop is clean and inviting. I’ll definitely be reaching out to Jessy for my next tattoo.

Got pierced by Jake recently and had a great experience. He was polite, professional, and easy to talk to. Very good at talking through everything, explaining what was going to happen and asking if I had any questions. The entire studio and piercing room were very clean, hygienic, well organized and clearly staffed by people educated and passionate about their craft.

I’ve been tattooed by Brittni about 4-5 times now. BY FAR the most talented, friendly, and professional artist I’ve ever worked with. Her work is amazing, she listens to my ideas and uses her creativity to draw up something better than expected. I get compliments almost daily on my tattoos! Customer 4 life.

I was tattooed by Brittini, she is incredibly talented and she drew an amazing portrait of the tattoo I had in mind. It was a great experience and it was nice to talk to her about the studio and the highlights of her career, she entertained all of my questions about her tattooing style and what got her into tattooing during my session. I would 10/10 recommend this studio!

If I could rate this place any higher I would! Brittni did a piece on my knee and and made sure I loved it, before I left. She made me feel comfortable and safe during the entire processes and was so sweet and the nicest! I also got pierced by Grey, and they were absolutely wonderful. They talked me through the entire process and gave me the reassurance I needed after a bad experience elsewhere, and made sure that I was absolutely okay with everything before doing the actual piercing. My experiences both times were absolutely wonderful and I will always recommend this place!

The backing of my earring got embedded in my ear, but these guys were so professional in helping me and making sure i was comfortable! i totally recommend ❤️

Update- I had to take my nose ring out for surgery and couldnt get it back in. I was able to get into the studio for help and once again they were amazing. I didnt catch the name of the gentleman that helped me but he was wonderful. I will go back to them every time.I had such an amazing experience with Derek getting my nose pierced. He was really gentle, I barely felt it and he was so knowledgeable. I loved how clean everything was. I will definitely be going back. Also the jewelry was gorgeous

This was my daughters first tattoo, she worked with Jesse. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. From the moment we walked in, to the consult, to the actually tattooing, everything was professional, and shop felt “at home”. Thank you all again for making this a great birthday present!!!!

Brittni is amazing! The shop is filled with such beautiful creations and creatures they have collected. It gives a very chill vibe once you walk in.First time finding a tattoo artist that I actually like and feel comfortable with here in Maryland.Brittni is so patient and kind with trying to get the right size of the tattoo I wanted. She had me fill out a few forms prior to starting anything and definitely took her time explaining what she was doing and which shade would be best for my tattoo.Even after I got my back tattoo, she has never neglected to check up on me and my healing process.I will definitely be back soon!

Her lines are so clean and the stippling work is on point. I felt comfortable and welcome by all from the moment I stepped into the shop! Shop was clean and pleasant with a noir aesthetic, original art and knickknacks decorating the walls. Laid-back but upbeat music with a dub vibe had the environment feeling relaxed and comfortable.My artist (Jesse Wilson) had me visit for a consult ahead of my first session, during which he listened to my ideas and created the design. The process to set my appointment was straightforward and timely, and Jesse was very receptive to my needs (the design involves an interpretation of traditional wood-block art; Jesse understood the importance of stylistic details and incorporated them into the tattoo design)Today (my first session), Jesse confirmed the final outline and layout for my tattoo and fabricated the stencil. The process for the linework went smoothly, Jesse was conscientious of my breathing and body movements, and worked deliberately to ensure that the lines and details were not warped by involuntary movement on my part.While some people may want or need a talkative artist, I was very happy that Jesse focused on the creation of my tattoo rather than small talk. While he did communicate to me to make sure I was comfortable, most of our conversation was limited to the work at hand, which reinforced my assessment that I had picked the right artist for the job.I may return to add to my review, but I will definitely be returning to Jesse Wilson at Studio Noir soon for my next session. He demonstrated sensitivity to my needs and took the time to make sure that my design was properly balanced and placed. Thanks Jesse!

I have been going to Brittni for several years now. To be honest, I would never think of going to anyone else for my tattoos. She has completed both arm sleeves, half a leg sleeve, and a sternum tattoo. I have loved every single design she has came up with. I am able to share my ideas with her and she makes them her own. She is super talented and truly a great artist. I’m lucky to have stumbled upon her when I did. If you don’t get tattooed by her, you’re missing out!

All of the artists at Noir are incredible. Brittni is a truly kind and talented soul. She has done many pieces on me over the years, and I never hesitate to recommend her services. Billy has also done some work on me that I brag about regularly! If you are in the market for a new piece of permanent art, you will not be disappointed by this team!

I havent been to the shop yet but I can speak to Brittni and the amazing quality of her work. She is an awesome artist. She worked with me designing my half sleeve and not only provided !making artistic design but was a pleasure to deal with. Shes really friendly and makes you feel comfortable while digging needles in your skin lol Would highly recommend her and I for one cant wait to visit Noir and schedule a new piece.

I got an entire arm piece done by Brittini. I actually was driving an hour and 45 minutes one way just to be tattooed by her. During my initial consult, she listened to what I wanted and provided her thoughts. At one of my appointments, what she had drawn didn’t work well once the stencil was placed due the curves of my arm. I love the fact that she was honest about it and spent the time to rework her idea to make it perfect. Her tattoo incorporated many different skills and showed her attention to detail. Her line work is amazing (main reason I chose to be tattooed by her). I’m constantly being complimented on my arm. Brittini was polite, friendly, and professional. I look forward to my next tattoo with her!

Brittni has done a few of my tattoos over the years , every interaction with her was professional, super clean and quality work. Over the years it’s been great to watch her grow as an artist and to this date I simply wait for another trip to Maryland because I refuse to allow anyone else to work on me!
