Im a first timer and this place was highly recommended, and for good reason. I had an amazing experience from start to finish. I ended up going with Sienna as my artist and I couldnt be happier with that choice. She did an amazing job and was so accommodating for my design. I loved every minute of working with her and I cant stop smiling every time I look at my tattoo. Its a memorial for my brother who passed 2 years ago and I am over the moon with how awesome it turned out. Ive already been getting compliments on the line work and shading. I 100% recommend Monolith and Sienna. Amazing experience all around.

Sienna helped turn my idea into a high quality, unique piece of art! I absolutely love my new tattoo! At the consultation, I let Sienna know exactly what I had in mind, but I was also hoping for her to add her own artistic flare. It was spot on! The line and shade work are beautiful, the studio itself was clean and safe, and the team was friendly and engaged throughout the entire process. I cant wait for my next visit!

I called to see if they had any walk-ins available and the front desk asked a few relevant questions before pairing me with an artist whod had a cancellation AND specializes in EXACTLY what Id described to the front desk woman. Even though I was a random walk-in, the studio took the time to make sure I wouldnt have a randomized experience.Once I got to my artist, Kit, he looked over my reference photos and chatted with me briefly about what I wanted. This was my first ever tattoo, so when he came back with a PERFECT custom drawing (in 6 different size options) for what he could do, I very much appreciated him recommending sizing and location with brief explanations to how the details would hold up over time.Even though I have no reference point for what a tattoo experience should be, I was blown away! The actual tattoo process was so much fun. Id brough my emotional support friend and the three of us just chatted the whole time. It was so positive and I will absolutely be going back! I trust Kit to only give me a tattoo that he knows he will be proud of

Got two tattoos from sienna. They are absolutely beautiful! She is very kind. I’m an awkward quiet person and she didn’t make me feel uncomfortable at all. She’s a wonderful artist and a wonderful person. Will 100% be going back to monolith for my next pieces.

Shout out to artist Morgan Cohen for her incredible work. Her talent speaks for itself, just look at this amazing original piece. You’d never know it was a Nautical star cover up + the color and design matched what we had planned out flawlessly. We’ll see you in a few weeks for highlights. Been 20 year since my last session, made a phone call landed a walk in on Saturday morning got a nice consultation for a sleeve and even had time to get a flash piece done. Kit is awesome artist super friendly makes the time spent there the experience you want. Super excited for next appointment with Kit, clean fun and relaxed environment. I had an incredible experience coming to Monolith for my first tattoo! Morgan took the time to explain the process of everything and periodically checked in on me to make sure I was doing okay. I felt very comfortable getting my first tattoo from her and I will most definitely be going back to have her work on some more pieces for me (: Also this is one of many of her vibrant flash designs!

I had the best experience with Dave Lue. He was very patient with me as I kept changing things on the design. As he was tattooing he made sure I was comfortable and had great bedside manner. My tattoo came out better than I could ever imagine! Everyone at Monolith were all friendly and welcoming. I will certainly will be returning and recommending Monolith/Dave!

Heather did tattoos for both my wife and I and did a fantastic job. She was awesome, funny, meticulous, gentle, and honest. She stayed a couple hours late on a Friday night to get walk Ins done for us after we stopped in only a couple hours before closing. She was patient and made sure we were happy and confident with placement and details of our tattoos.The whole shop had a great atmosphere. Another artist had a dice set on hand so we had references.

Jesse has done two awesome pieces for me. He’s efficient, checks in on his client, and does really great work. Easy to talk and work with! 10/10 will get more work done by him!

I’ve been getting my tattoos from Jesse at Monolith for over a year now, and I’m always happy with the results! He is friendly, reliable and so talented!

I can not rave about Monolith enough. I’ve had 3 tattoos there done by 3 different artists and each one was amazing. I got my very first tattoo by Gabe who was absolutely amazing. I got light headed after we were done and he helped sit me down, and get me some sugar (lollipop) and water. It was a situation that should have been completely embarrassing but he was so unbelievable kind about it that it wasn’t. My second tattoo there was done by Brittney and she such a great person! She did a cute willow tree leaf cluster on my hip and I adore it. It was pretty painful and she made sure to help give breaks, ask if I needed anything and was super intuitive. My last tattoo was done by Taya Kathleen and I will recommend her to everyone I know always. She is the best! She has done two tattoos for me over the past year, a rib tattoo and a coverup. Her work is stunning and she is the sweetest person ever! She was so helpful and left me with my two favorite tattoos ever. I will be going to her for all of my big pieces I have planned and was so happy to meet her. Overall the staff is wondering and the front desk girls are beyond helpful in answering all of your questions. It is such a great place to get tattooed and the environment is so friendly and inviting. I will always recommend them to everyone who needs a studio to go to! ❤️

As a studio monolith is who I recommend for everyone there’s an artist for every need. Everyone is always so kind and helpful. I’ve been going to Angela for about 2 years now, she always brings my ideas to life and exceeds my expectations. All of my tattoos are from Angela and her fine line work is to die for!!!! From my very first contact with the receptionist via email, I was treated with complete courtesy and well taken care of.I had to change my appointment date and time and wasn’t treated like I was a hassle or burden. I got a tattoo from Andy Beswick. He was the coolest, most down to earth guy you could ever ask for. Knowledgeable, friendly and funny.The shop is immaculately clean, well lit and comfortable. I had the best tattooing experience at Monolith. I initially met with Edward and we talked about my design. He was completely honest with me about my selected piece and let me know the design I picked would probably not age well. So I reworked my design and scheduled my appointment. A month before my scheduled appointment I was asked if Id like to come in and be tattooed by their guest artist David Lue and I jumped at the opportunity to get my tattoo sooner. David took my concept idea and worked magic. His design was so much better than what I presented earlier. Dave was very professional, made sure I was comfortable the entire time during my sitting and was such a nice, kind hearted man. The whole time I was being tattooed, other artists stopped bye and commented on Daves work and how good it looked. I agree, my piece looks so good and far exceeded my expectations. Im now looking forward to my next tattoo at Monolith, I just have to come up with an idea.

Huge shout out to Dan O., an extremely talented guest artist, who designed and delivered a beautiful abstract sunflower tattoo for my upper arm. I feel like I was gifted a painting, not just a tattoo! All six of my tattoos have come from Monolith artists for a reason. Every single employee/artist is highly professional, talented, and extremely courteous and kind. I have nothing but positive reviews for this business! Life-long customer!

Got my first tattoo from Morgan Warren! She did an absolutely amazing job and she was so kind, gentle, and willing to listen and talk through all the options and concerns. Terrible service and professionalism. If you want to waste your gas and time then this is the place to go. I cannot recommend a place any less. Wasted 4 hours of driving just for them to not have my appointment booked after I already called and booked an appointment. Any good reviews must of came from employees because theres no way you can have a good experience here. I would strongly suggest finding somewhere else to go to get tattooed!

Savannah is amazing! Went to her for a couple script tattoos and she did awesome and made me feel comfortable making adjustments and making them perfect! Always a good time visiting Adored!

Had the best experience here! Morgan, the artist, is a true gift! I came in nervous to get a tattoo that means so much to me behind my ear, knowing that can be a tough place for the artwork. Heather the artist was amazing at doing my ring finger tattoo. She was so patient and kind! The place was clean, and all the staff I met were very helpful. Brian is seriously the best! Clean shop, smashingly talented artists, reasonable pricing for the quality of work you receive, cool merchandise, they offer aftercare products, and not a single soul in that place was anything but friendly, kind, down to earth, and terrific to interact with.

I sent my ma here to get a very personal tattoo (as most are) and first of all she couldnt be happier and more proud to show it off. Eddie did the tattoo and was so patient with her, listened, was very welcoming and considering ma has a low tolerance for tattoos she said it wasnt that bad. The finished product is absolutely beautiful. In addition the entire staff is super nice, very clean and overall wanting to make the experience of something personal and permanent the best possible. I would highly recommend monolith as they make making a mark a truly personalized experience! THANK YOU!!!

My daughter went here to have a tattoo cover up done, she was late of course, but the staff was super accommodating and professional. Jesse did an amazing job and had a very light touch. My daughter is so happy with the product and will go back in a couple weeks for the final touches. We will be returning for all our tattoo needs.

Edward has been working with me on a full sleeve tat for several years now (including a cover-up) and his skills are second to none. Hes always booked out at least 4- 6 months.... but its worth the wait! Cant recommend him enough.

I highly recommend Monolith, such amazing artists, clean, super friendly environment. Each artist knows how to produce a quality tattoo. They dont disappoint, and you will come out with an amazing tattoo. Each artist is very well organized, and very professional, yet friendly, and they make each customer feel like they are the most important person there. I cannot express how happy I am with the service, and the tattoos that they produce. This my go to place, Gabe is my go to guy, his style is amazing. He super chill, very talented in what he does. This is the tattoo place to go, I know if one artist isnt comfortable enough with doing a design you want, theres someone there who will be. The wait time between setting up a consultation, and actually getting the tattoo is super fast, usually only a few days between, depending upon the artists schedule, wait time on the day of your appointment is unbelievably fast. You want to make the right choice when it comes to tattoos, and studios. Monolith is absolutely the right choice, from start to finish.

Let me just say at this point I want to get every single tattoo done here lol. The environment here is so amazing. Its calming and friendly and does nothing but make you feel welcome whether its your first time or your 100th. From the very first second your greeted by 2 of the most amazing ladies Ive ever met to check you in and explain everything. Second they have such a diverse selection of artists here that if you cant find what your looking for your not looking hard enough. Personally to start Im doing a full Pacific nw sleeve so I chose to go with keisha and let me say if I could time travel I would make the same choice over and over again. She is by far the most non judgmental most patient and most all around caring person I could have found to be my first.... and second and third( like I said. She is doing the entire sleeve.) I am almost 10 hours into my sleeve and she is just amazing. She is there to make money dont get me wrong, everyone is, but you would never know. She makes it seem like the only reason she is there is for you and for the art and Im pretty sure thats mostly true. Nothing feels rushed and your not made to feel like a burden of you need a break. (Small bladder. My bad!) Bottom line, if you want a tattoo and you dont ar least go to monolith to check it out you are making the biggest mistake of your life.

Recently got tattooed by Gabe DeVoll at monolith a week ago. First off, Monolith offered one of the smoothest, friendly, and efficient tattoo experiences I’ve had. It was super easy to schedule an appointment and consultation. It was all very well organized, which I truly appreciated. I met Gabe to talk about my tattoo after we had corresponded via email. He was stoked to do that tattoo and that pumped me up. I was able to pay my deposit and the rest of my tattoo with Apple Pay, which was super convenient. All in all, great experience. Gabe was super friendly and we talked the entire length of the tattoo. I will definitely be back and recommend them to others.

Such a rad shop with even better humans. I’m continually impressed with their flexibility and the range of artists. Most recently, I had my ribs done and I had a nice privacy screen for the entire appointment.

I love it here! i’ve gotten all 6 of my tattoos here from various artists and every single one of them has been incredibly kind and accommodating. i love that i can just text the studio number and get an appointment scheduled! it makes it so easy for me to get a tattoo. thanks to every artist and person at Monolith who has worked with me! Angela did tattoos for my boyfriend and I for our 1 year anniversary. We got a simple cute design of the constellation Lyra. She had us in and out in under an hour! Angela was super nice, the shop has a great atmosphere. Everything was nice and clean. We got some free stickers! I would highly recommend this studio.

Monolith is a very clean, well kept, easy to schedule tattoo studio. My tattoo artist Keisha created an amazing shoulder piece with memorial bee component. She always makes me comfortable and welcome. I have brought my son here for hus first tattoo and my niece, amongst many others we recommend to make the 3 hour drive from Portland. Its well worth it.

I had a wild time here recently. Did a walk in with Heather (awesome lady) that was split into two sessions. I tried contacting the shop 5 times over the course of two weeks to get in to finish my tattoo. The counter person, Shea was extremely sketchy and rude to me every time. She would tell me she’ll check with Heather and then ghost me. Finally i was told I could come in, and so i did. When i got there Shea told me Heather was not available, and told me i was not allowed to wait for an opening and I “should just leave”. I was shocked at how rude she was considering how kind and sweet everyone else has been when I’ve been there before. COME TO FIND OUT Heather had no idea I’d been trying to get in this whole time and Shea was LYING to both of us and sending me away.I don’t know what there is to gain by a counter person lying to potential clients and being rude but i can’t imagine the impact this could have on an artist’s client base.My advice: get rid of this girl before she taints Monoliths reputation. That being said. LOVE LOVE LOVE Heather V. and all the other amazing people at Monolith.

Heather Venable was my artist. Im pretty tatted and Ive had multiple artists over the years. Heather was solid AF...good clean work, she worked with me and had good suggestions. I got my first tattoo done here and Im so glad I did! Great customer service from all employees and artists. I wouldnt recommend anywhere else! The prices from each artist seemed very reasonable and worth it! Im diabetic so my artist, Gabe, made sure I was comfortable and okay throughout the whole thing which was awesome. Their shop is so nice and clean as well! Such a professional and chill environment. Cant wait to get more work done in the future and add more! These guys really are the best!

Made an appointment in advance, the process was really easy. Everyone was really nice and friendly. The artist sanitized everything but it is not healing like any other tattoos we have. Literally have a half sleeve that healed with no problem but this is just bad all around. The tattoo is subpar. The shading is so patchy and the outline is so thin in some areas and then thick in others. Already planning to try and have it touched up or salvaged when it heals. This is the blotchiest thing I have ever seen.Maybe the artist was in a rush or just wasnt interested in the design but it definitely shows. The low quality of this is shocking. It is healing awfully. I dont even have words to describe it but tears have been shed.4 stars for the friendliness and shop vibesBut its a 1 star tattoo.

I went in on one of the days walk-ins were available and had such amazing service from the artist! Angela provided excellent service and a fantastic tattoo to match! If anyone is on the fence about getting a tattoo from anyone at monolith, do yourself a favor and do it! Angela was fantastic and I can’t recommend her enough!

I went to Monolith on south 97 to get my first tattoo yesterday, and I left with not only a fabulous piece of permanent art on my arm, but also a smile on my face. Maia Papaya is a talented, funny and informative tattoo artist, and I can’t recommend her work enough. I spend two hours laughing, smiling and being wowed at the process. Plus, if you were wondering, the studio is both beautiful aesthetically and spotless when it comes to hygienic standards. In short: I highly recommend Monolith to anyone in the Central Oregon area looking to get their first or fiftieth tattoo.

I had an awesome experience. Angela was very nice and chill. She made what I wanted perfectly. I got it about 4 months ago and it still looks the way it did the day I got it. It was my first tattoo and she talked me through the whole process. The staff is amazing and really nice.

The tattoo artist Michaela was absolutely incredible to work with on a tattoo piece and did exceptional work. Not only did she invest her time and art into this piece but she went as far as studying the history and the markings of this specific bird she was tattooing so that it was perfection to the real swallowtail bird. I have never had a tattoo artist be so invested in every detail. That being said, monolith tattoo had incredibly kind customer service, they were clean, holding every Covid-19 mandate, and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I appreciated the extra mile of customer service and friendly faces to help with booking, cleanliness, and payment. I highly recommend this company and everything they stand for. Incredible people work here!

I got a tattoo from Taya and it was an amazing experience. She made me feel super comfortable while I was in the chair getting my tattoo. Asked if I was doing okay multiple times and She is really easy and enjoyable to talk to which is a plus. She listened to all my ideas when drawing up my tattoo and created exactly what I asked for. She definitely pays attention to detail and wants to make sure her clients are getting what they ask for. Will definitely be returning to her for my next tattoo.

Went in for a consultation with Heather and was able to be tattooed same day! Heather was super sweet, professional, and I feel that she really listened to me and what I wanted! Shop was clean and everyone seemed very friendly! Would recommend Heather for finger tattoos, she did awesome!

I went to monolith for a memorial tattoo for my furkids Heather was beyond amazing!!!!!! I was nervous and had a little bit of anxiety she was extremely patient with me I never once felt.judged and she took her time to ensure every detail was perfect 🥰 she understood how important this tattoo is for me!!!!!! She treated me like family made sure i was comfortable the tattoo turned out greater than i could of imagined she has a life time client now ❤️ I highly recommend her!!!!!!

Would give more than 5 stars if possible! From the second you walk in the door you are treated with nothing but kindness and respect! The counter workers are always more than happy to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Andy has done all of my tattoos, with perfect results every time. All of the other artists I have spoken with are also super cool! Studio is kept very clean, cleanliness is never a concern. The only place I will recommend for anyone looking for quality art!

I got my first tattoo last week from Michele. Not only was it a fantastic experience, but I couldnt be more in love with my tattoo! The entire staff was friendly and I cannot rave enough about Michele. She made me feel comfortable and her art is amazing!

Okay WOW—I just got my tattoo done by Heather and the entire experience from the moment I walked in was exactly what I wanted. Not only does my tattoo look incredible (a tribute to my late mother), but she literally made sure I loved the placement and took time to make sure I was happy. Monolith was very clean, organized, and inviting. Even walking through the front door the lady at the front desk (wish I knew her name) was very kind the whole time and engaged in conversation with me and made sure I had everything I needed. I received a tattoo from Bear and she made sure that the tattoo I received was exactly what I wanted by giving me multiple options that she drew up. She was also very open to changing anything I wanted and didn’t make me feel rushed or intimidated. I wasn’t sure where I wanted my tattoo exactly so Bear helped me decide on the placement as I fully trust her artistic eye. Bear is one of a kind tattoo artist in Bend and has unmatched detail in her tattoos. I was very comfortable the whole time and I was really impressed with the customer service at Monolith. The front desk lady even came by and asked if I needed anything or any water while I was getting my tattoo which I was really impressed by as I have never had anything like that happen while getting a tattoo! There are multiple artists with a wide variety of styles so Monolith would be a good fit for just about anyone! highly recommend Monolith and especially Bear if you are interested in detailed or anime tattoos! First tattoo in my 58 years on this earth. Taya was amazing! She took my design and created something I’m proud to look at everyday and share with others. I get tons of compliments on how clean the lines are. Monolith was a perfect fit for me! Very clean, professional, and courteous. I have and will continue to recommend Taya and Monolith!

I recommend going to monolith and getting work done by Sienna. She did an amazing job and was so pleasant to be around. Super easy to talk to and had a super light hand. I’m very sensitive with tattoos and the one she gave me on my ribs didn’t hurt bad at all.

Came in for a walk-in with Heather on Halloween. Love the energy in this place, very laid back and fun. I was tattooed here by Angela (@stipplingstuffco) and she was absolutely amazing! Got me in super quickly, had the most gorgeous designs and was super light handed and fun throughout the entire tattoo process! I’ve since gone back and gotten more tattoos from her.

Came down to see Zach and start a new project, I have had work done by him in the past before he moved down there and decided to make the drive down to keep working with him. Great decision, the shop is super chill, clean, and friendly. Overall great experience. Will gladly continue coming back for future work from Zach and hopefully work with other artists as well.

My experience was absolutely amazing, I had not had a tattoo in approximately 20 years! The entire staff was welcoming, and made me feel extremely comfortable. I was getting a rather large piece on my hip/back/side, a 7 hour session, I was offered blankets snd the owner changed the thermostat so that I could stay warm. The receptionist checked on me often, as did the owner. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable along with giving me a follow up call to check on me and my healing process. I am quite pleased with the results and look forward to my color session sometime in March.

I’ve now had three tattoos done here at Monolith, and I’ll definitely be back for more. It’s so rare to find a shop with so many badass artists, and even rarer to find such a shop with such genuine and kind service across the board. The shop is always insanely clean, vibes are welcoming, and literally everyone that works there is the nicest. Easily one of the best shops on the West Coast. Solid rates, sick people, sicker art - what more could you ask for.

My fiance and I took a trip to Bend, and we decided to get tattoos kind of last minute. We stopped by Monolith and they were all so friendly and welcoming. They got us an appointment for the next day, and Ryan was our artist. He was really professional and did an amazing job on both of our tattoos! We had a great experience at this shop, and will be returning (driving 10 hours) for future tattoos - thats how great this place was!

First off the place is very open and welcoming. Everyone is laid back, friendly and easy to talk to. I had my eye brows microbladed by Melanie who is so kind and fun to talk to and got the fist part of my tattoo done by Bear. Oh my goodness, the talent at this place!! Ive only seen pictures of the other artists work, but it sounds like all the artists are great to work with as well ☺️

Scheduled the consultation appointment a week in advance. Been working on this tattoo idea for 3 years to document a huge life event. Showed up early and the appointment time came and went. Took time off of work for something I was super excited for. I’m pretty sure I saw the artist I had an appointment with chatting with someone at the desk and then go back in the back and never come out. I did have two people there peek there heads out and snicker at me a few times. Even if I looked like someone you know..just kinda felt weird for a bit. Just kind of a bummer all around. The person at the desk was super nice and did offer to reschedule, but, fool me once..

I got my very first tattoo here today of a sunflower. Everyone here is super nice!! I called and asked about walk-ins they put me on their waitlist and I got called in thanks to an opening being made available. Keisha did my tattoo and she made me feel comfortable about it and made sure it was something I liked. They’re very clean and I will totally be going back.

I went here after getting some bad treatment from another shop in town. I first emailed Monolith then came in and talked to Emily who was super friendly both in person and via email. I then spoke with Kailah who ended up doing my tat. I had 11 tats and she made it number 12 and I must say her work is amazing. The studio itself is super clean, friendly and the work done by her was awesome. I hope to go back in the future for more. I tell everyone I know to visit this place and book some time with the amazing artists here. You wont regret it. I think this is the best tat Ive ever had done hands down. Thank you for not only being professional but for making the time to talk to me prior to an appointment.

I got a previous tattoo from here and the artist was awesome. I went back to schedule another tattoo from the same artist and was given a date 6 months out for my appointment. In the time in which I planned this I was offered a job across the country which requires me to move before I could get my next tattoo which is disappointing in and of itself. But be aware that they have a non-refundable deposit policy which literally means, even if you give them two months to fill your spot and you have a serious reason to cancel, you will absolutely not get a refund. I love supporting artists and will continue to do so, but to my knowledge the artist didnt even take any time to design the tattoo yet, so for me this is ridiculous to not even give a partial refund, considering I was courteous enough to give a warning so that my time could be filled, and there was genuinely no point in doing so.

Had an upper arm piece started by Keisha and it was just an all around amazing experience. Very clean shop, everyone was super nice and friendly, and Keisha is just an amazing, magical person to work with. Cant wait to come back to get this one finished and hopefully many more. Highly recommended

This wasn’t my first tattoo with Monolith, nor will it be my last! They have proven once again to be the premier spot in Oregon to get a tattoo. Monolith is the best tattoo shop in Oregon! So many talented artists. I have had the majority of my tattoos done by artists there or artists that started there. Bend has many wonderful tattoo artists but monolith has so many great qualities besides good artists. Beautiful interior design. An awesome mirror for selfies :) There are a lot of artists so you get tons of variety on style of tattoo. It’s the cleanest shop I’ve ever seen. And you can get your eye brows and eyeliner tattooed there too! And last but not least they also offer tattoo removal! Go check them out! Even if it’s just to see their cool furniture :)

I have gotten a few pieces from a few different artists at Monolith and have had nothing but outstanding experiences with everyone and the entire process. This shop is a well oiled machine and everyone is so nice, the atmosphere is lovely and you can tell everyone really values their colleagues. Gabe is a treasure and I love working with him.

Absolute best place in central Oregon to get tattoos. Every member and employee are professional, friendly, and efficient. You never feel out of place when you come in as the front of house workers are super kind and inviting! My personal artist Andy Beswick is always efficient and quick, with perfect results. Very unprofessional. I made the appointment with them through Yelp and sent them all of the pictures and details how I wanted for my tattoo. And when I walked in, they looked at me like who I am and didn’t know anything. I needed to discuss again with the artist( the artist is only for walk in), even though I already spent too much time with them all the phone and made the appointment.And the artist didn’t do a good job at all ( actually he did good on one, and the other one was terrible). He kept try to make me to follow his opinions, even I already had my own style. For my first tattoo, I didn’t have any experience, that’s why I trusted him and think whatever, because my friend she really recommended me this place. Then my tattoo looked really bad after that. My friend she came with me and then she got shocked too. She tried to tell him what I wanted and he just tried to find another way to deny it and made us follow him and trust him. And my friend she felt awkward about it. Even I was not happy but I still tipped him 30%.Because I felt bad that he didn’t know anything or anybody told him that I will be his customers on that day and I liked the small tattoo he did on my wrist ( I did two tattoos on the same day)I will find the place to remove it. But very disappointed for the first time. I was so excited for my first tattoo and It was so hard for me to schedule myself a day off because I was very busy person. I may come back to give them another try for my next tattoo because my friend loves this place ( I am not sure when). But It’s not great experience to me at the first time.

It was a great experience my artist was Andy I got to have him tattoo crosses on My face and was able to tell him about my faith in Jesus and he was super positive and receptive we had a good conversation rip 🙏 I hope to meet some of the other artist

I also have to say one of my best friend ma I work here as well and seen some great art work from him . He an amazing person and the same goes for his fellow artist.

Ive followed Melanie for years now and I absolutely love her work! Melanie was amazing! She calmed my nerves and made me feel so comfortable. She walked me through every step and is a perfectionist when it comes to her art. I highly highly recommend Melanie if youre thinking about getting your brows done. Dont think...just do!

Andy did a wonderful job on my Oscar Wilde tattoo! He and the receptionist were super kind, easy to talk to, very knowledgable, and there to answer any question I had. They even made my sister comfortable as she waited while I was getting it done. Will come back and recommend!

The manager and Taya are the worst. They called 2 hours before my appointment to cancel and offered another appointment almost a month away, this after waiting for a month to get the appointment they just scheduled. They could care less when I talked to them on the phone. It cost me money to have that appointment cancelled at the last minute - dog sitter, day off work, etc. They really don’t care about their customers schedules. Arrogant management. If you want an appointment that will actually be honored or management that cares, look somewhere else. This wasn’t the only appointment that they have cancelled or rescheduled on me at the last second. They broke their own rules set out in the waiver you must sign. If a customer is more than 15 minutes late, then the tattoo will be rescheduled. There is no way Tayas first appointment was only 1-15 minutes late and it completely threw her off by hours, which means they prioritized this customer and finished his/her tattoo by cancelling my appointment. I wonder why? Good friend? More expensive tattoo? That client shouldve had his appointment end at the previously prescribed time, rather than cancelling mine to finish his/hers. Unprofessional at best.When I met Taya for my consult, she was standoff-ish and really didn’t listen to my suggestions. Felt very arrogant, but I was assured her work was great. I think she might have said 3-4 words to me, but I took a chance anyway. Now I wish I didn’t waste all that time waiting for Monolith to just cancel again.

I was in town for my birthday, back in March and their studio was hosting a flash tattoo event! Sweetb.tattoos did the most beautiful geo mountain range on my bicep! She was very professional, sweet and fun! I’m looking forward to my next appt with her!

Monolith is one of the cleanest shops Ive seen, and Ive been inked by many artists in multiple states. The staff was friendly, the price was reasonable, and my artist, Edward, did an amazing job on my tattoo. I highly recommend this shop!

Okay, I hate to do this but there are a lot of people in previous reviews that aren’t happy with the consult first concept, and frankly those comments while from one perspective seem valid, but after my consult and having my tattoos done, I am completely happy. Tattoos are a personal choice and it’s a relationship that you as a client and the tattoo artist must work to establish. Take your time, and go through the process, you should be happy.My artist—while I was getting the artwork completed—was skillful and careful. I didn’t feel much, and honestly I fell asleep... this may not happen to all clients, but I was extremely happy with the work....My appreciation to the front of house and Keisha! I plan to be a repeat customer....

1. Front desk experience2. Set consultation up then when send back was worried didn’t have design after trying to text and get info to artist. Communication lacked so 2 trips3. Once got to artist she was fabulous, but because of lack of commutation had a lot of design time and cost more then thought it would from estimate in beginning.4. A little strange when another artist hung out while receiving tattoo.5. After I wanted one more small item extended tried to call and email with little response. Then wanting another consultant when last time didn’t seem worth either of our time. I could communicate with a 5 min call and schedule to wait and talked down to was horrible and then referred out to another place.6. Really felt unimportant and dismissed that my time didn’t mater and “our highly skilled artists are very busy”. I don’t want detail and less steps. Really the reason I went was for the artist detail and they bit down another artist and my experience hasn’t been that with you.7. Front staff manager is rude and talks down to me and tells me things that are not true. Also lacks communication with artist not sure amour owners. But when had issue in beginning she wouldn’t pass on to someone she kept knowing all!8.Very disappointed that it’s this hard to add to what I got to make it complete. September for consultation and then how long for a 1” fine line and 1” bee. Hmmmmm sad, and I just recommend someone, not sure I would I. Future or I would say artist good process horrible!!!!!!!!

I started coming to Monolith several years ago and havent gone to another studio for a tattoo since. They have an excellent diversity in tattoo styles in-house, and often have visiting artists too. I have nothing but good experiences here.

Ive gotten multiple tattoos from the students and from different artists and this is hands down one of my favorite shops in Oregon. The talent coming out of this studio is real and everything is clean and professional all around.

My tattoo artist, Heather, was over an hour late the first visit. Then she rescheduled my 4 hour finishing work on me three times. No apologies. Contacted the manager at Monolith who made excuses and lied about contacting the owner. They charge $50 if a customer cancel but apparently don’t care if they do it to you. Horrible service.

So after 46 years of being on this rock, I finally decided to get a tattoo... After asking several of my sleeved friends, Monolith was my only option. Now its been about 10 days since I got my tattoo and I couldnt be happier. I waited a long time to find something Id want on me for ever.... Maddy and Zachary were super professional and lots of fun as well. Thanks again to Monolith for this experience.

I called this morning and they got me in this afternoon for a small peice on my wrist. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Andy tattooed me and you can imediatly tell how experienced he is! He cranked out the piece in 10 minutes and I just cleaned it off and it looks perfect! This is my first tattoo since moving to Bend and this is were Ill be going for my next piece for sure!

Deke did an awesome job with my tattoo, quick, efficient and crisp. Im super satisfied, plus he was a nice guy to talk to. Setting up an appointment was organized and smooth as well. Would absolutely go there again.

I had heard good things from other people around central oregon so I decided to go with them for my first piece. I was very impressed with how friendly and personable all of the staff was. Emily was especially helpful with coming up with the perfect font, size and layout. I am already planning on my next piece and will be visiting Monolith next month when I have the money to do it.

Absolutely love the artists work, but when i called to see if they accepted walkins the receptionist was really rude and unhelpful. I told her what my boyfriend and i were looking to get done and her response was well you need to know exavtly what you want. I told her what we wanted, but its up to the artist to make it their own... they may want a better face of their shop if thats the kind of people have to deal with.

Very friendly easygoing great atmosphere tattoos the best

Nate is awesome. Spends quality time discussing what I wanted and to personalize a custom piece. He was timely, very fun to work with and super easy to chat with! His art is stellar and fun to boot!

This shop is amazing, everyone I spoke to was incredibly nice and clearly passionate about their work. Deke is an incredible artist who undoubtedly deserves more than what he is charging. 10/10 recommend Monolith!

Best tattoo place ever. We travel over 3 hours just to get our tattoos from Aaron. We have been there twice and I cant wait to go back again! Everyone is very nice. Aaron is awesome!!!

I LOVED my experience at Monolith. I’m not great with needles and even worse with germs - so I was nervous. When we walked into the facility, I knew it was going to be better than I had thought because every surface was SPOTLESS (I even checked in corners for dust and such because I’m bizarre). I also have anxiety over strange things (like will tattoo ink cause issues down the road, etc) - and Nate took time to discuss with me via phone prior to my appointment about how the ink is made and everything, leading me to feel comfortable with my decision.When it was time for the actual tattoo (my first), I was surprised and impressed at Nate’s efficiency, steady hand, and ease of discussion. I had worried my tattoo idea (a tattoo correlating with my husband’s from my favorite book) would seem dumb to others, but if he thought that - it didn’t come through at all. When all was said and done, I was THRILLED with the outcome. He managed to get both my husband and my pieces done within just a about an hour. They’re all healed and look fantastic, I get compliments on it all the time.I’m so grateful for my experience with this fabulous shop and I’ll definitely be back for tattoo #2!

Nathan Gonzalez is the man u want to see if you need some ink. So if your in central Oregon this is the man to see for ink. All the staff is very friendly the shop is very clean which is very important especially these days ok folks long story short go to Monolith for all your needs

I personally felt that the artist didnt listen to my requests. I specified in detail what i wanted and it still was not what i asked for even with the art on my skin as a guide.I felt that I was over charged considering the size of the art and time it took the artist to complete it. Granted it was color, but I still feel that the cost was high, versus the overhead and artists time. Im not overly pleased with the work and part of the tattoo already is blotchy. I wont be back.

Called and got seen the same day (two names on either arm). Place is clean and the lady behind the cou nter was helpful and fun to yak with. Andrew drew up a design and I agreed to it and within 5 minutes was in the chair getting it done (name: Aaron and Maren were done) lines are strsight and clean. Looks awesome will know more in the upcoming days as to how it looks healed.

These guys deserve a standing ovation! The support to community causes and contributions that give is done out of pure humility and good hearts. Being excellent at their craft, good people and talented individuals lets me know that the will be here to stay!

Monolith is super inclusive, friendly, and badass. Taya is an absolute BOSS. She’s done a couple of my tattoos and killed it each time.

Called to make an appointment. When I got there I was told it was only a consultation. Had to wait three more weeks to get the tattoo done. Its a very clean place with talented artists and fair pricing.
