Alex is an incredible artist! He did an amazing job incorporating everything I wanted into my tattoo. This was the most comfortable and painless session I’ve ever had. Absolutely beautiful.

My brother and I got tattooed by Vinny. It was my brothers first tattoo and my 30th tattoo and it was the best experience we could have asked for. Vinny took our Lord of the Rings matching sibling request and made two stunning tattoos. The shop is clean, fun, and friendly. Vinny is exactly what a tattoo artist should be: professional, kind, skilled, and funny. He made the whole experience great from start to finish. Claw and Talon, youve made two return clients out of us!!

We knew that this place was a hidden gem when we walked in. The art all over the walls and the atmosphere was welcoming and eclectic in all the right ways. Absolutely amazing. Taphas was an absolute saint and touched up a tattoo that was badly done by another artist. Im telling you, he worked some sort of magic because it looks amazing now. Me and my boyfriend also got shoulder tattoos and he was such a perfect choice for what we were looking for. His technique was great and the color packing he did was vibrant and even. If youre at all looking for a great, local tattoo shop the artists here are friendly, kind, and talented. We could not be happier and will be back in the future for sure.

This place is an absolute gem! Im notorious for getting anxiety in new spaces but when I walked in to get my first ever tattoo I immediately felt comfortable. the artwork around the shop was very impressive, the artists were warm and welcoming and the whole atmosphere just put me at ease. Taphas did an amazing job, not only did he perfectly capture what I wanted out of my tattoo (a tribute to my beloved dog that had passed away) but he was also so kindhearted and gentle with the execution that I ended up getting a second one I had wanted for 14 years but was anxious that no one would be able to pull off so small and he beyond nailed it. he kept me laughing and smiling through both and just made the whole thing such a great experience. I highly recommend Claw and Talon Tattoo to anyone who is looking for a talent-packed positive experience. Thank you Taphas!! I love my new ink!

I had a wonderful experience with Claw and Talon. I emailed them to inquire about a tattoo and received a quick response and set up an appointment for the next day.Vinny was my artist and he killed it. The tattoo is perfect and he clearly cares deeply about doing good work. It was also a pleasure to talk with him about metal and music.

We went for my daughters new tattoo. She called and she was able to walk in without an appointment. Tattoo Artist was really nice and paid attention to my daughters tattoo preference. The studio is quite organized and clean.

We were visiting Colorado for the Taylor Swift concert. My daughter and my niece wanted to commemorate the weekend by getting a first tattoo. We just popped in randomly and was greeted by a very friendly young man (I’m sorry I forgot his name). He did my nieces tattoo and did a fantastic job. Vince knocked out a tattoo for my daughters first time and she was very comfortable and the experience was very pleasant. He did an amazing job and we are very thankful for the experience. Thank you for helping make this weekend one they will never ever forget.

Kimmie was fantastic! We were here from out of town and wanted to get family tattoos and she nailed it.

Kimmie just did my tattoo and she was absolutely incredible!!! Gentle and kind but with an absolutely beautiful finish! Will come back again to get some more from her. The whole shop is super friendly and all the other artists were hyping each other up

I started going here bec my original artist, Taphas, started working there. Taphas was off that day so I went to another guy named Vince or Vinny(?) He did just as good of work as Taphas and made the process very comfortable. The work turned out great so I’ll definitely be seeing Taphas and Vince again.Honestly, I had heard negative review from this idiot I know but of course he proved to be the idiot that he is.The shop was clean, pretty, and the other staff was very nice and accommodating to me as well. I had a great experience at Claw and Talon and I strongly feel you will too.

We were in town for a short period of time and they got us in. The prices are unbelievable for the quality of work. This shop is professional and clean. Kimme is an amazing artist and super knowledgeable. She helped us realize our visions for our tattoos. She really brought them to life. We left with two tattoos that we are happy with. If you’re in the area, this is the place to go. You won’t regret it.

I had a tattoo today with Kimme, I cannot express how much of a great experience it was. Genuinely one of the most impressive artists I’ve ever met. It was really nice at the shop too and it really was just a good vibe. Kimme and I talked about the entire time and despite the constant conversation about a bunch subjects she performed at an upmost degree.

Made an appointment with some friends for a Saturday afternoon and we had the shop to ourselves. Alex was our artist -- super cool human. There were killer tunes, some candy, lots of free parking. Would totally go back if I lived in the area.

My friend and I walked in here almost when everyone was done just to see if we could get something done. We both had Lindsey and she was freaking amazing. I got two small designs on both wrists and she was super calm and intentional with her strokes plus she allowed my friends back there to hold my hand. It came out so good and I love it. I was a tiny bit confused about aftercare but that just takes a google search. It was super clean and she was funny the whole time making my friends and I laugh. The pain was manageable and Im really glad I had the pleasure to be tattooed by her and I cant wait to go back to get my sternum done!

Amazing place!!! i got my first tattoo from nate and it was wonderful!!! he was super sweet and everyone there was welcoming!!! not to mention he did an amazing job and made sure that i was comfortable the entire time and checked up on me to make sure i was still feeling okay! if you need a tattoo or are looking to get your first tattoo i 100% recommend claw and talon tattoo!

Lindsey Foy has done 3 of my tattoos now. She is very talented, takes the time to listen to what I want, and was super kind and accommodating when I wanted to add something on to one of my tattoos the next day. She did a portrait of my Akita that I get so many compliments on. I will definitely work with her again!

This wasn’t the biggest shop but the artists were all very kind. It was a good vibe and they were really helpful in making decisions around the design I’d chosen. Vince (the owner) is an amazing human and he alone is worth going there. Lindsay did a masterful job with both tattoos she gave me and she was extremely accommodating.

Best experience getting a tattoo so far! Jay was the artist that did my tattoo and was amazing from start to finish. He drew exactly what I envisioned and the finish product was better than I imagined! The other artists that were tattooing their clients were really friendly and showed genuine interest in making sure I was happy with the experience and the tattoo! If I wasnt moving away from Colorado I would come back here for any and all future tattoos!

I love this place! The people there are amazing. I personally go to Vinnie (Binkie). I have had both of my tattoos done by him, and have not been disappointed. In all honesty, everyone there is amazing! I have yet to hear a bad review of this place, no matter who you see. They are even know to put on different music if you are uncomfortable/anxious about the tattoo. Highly recommend! Go here! If you do see Vinnie, tell him the dude with a fist on his fist sent you :)

Came in with a basic tattoo idea as a walk-in and Mark was willing to take the time to figure out exactly what I wanted & to work with me on getting the tattoo done exactly the way I wanted it. He took the time to listen to my input & was able to create my vision perfectly. Mark is very light handedly so he wont dig too deep while tatting you & his work is really clean. He was also very reasonable with his pricing and I got exactly what I wanted for a great price! All around a great tattoo experience & I would highly recommend Claw & Talon!

Ive seen both Lindsey and Vinny and am obsessed with my tattoos. They are beautiful and healed well. These artists are very talented and professional while also creating a comfortable environment.

I worked with Lindsey while she was still an apprentice and after she finished her apprenticeship. She does excellent work makes everything go by quickly. I preferred to listen to music while she tattoed and she had no issues with this. The shop is clean and has reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone getting their first tattoo or their 15th.

Called two days in advance to get a small quote done on my hip. I am not new to getting tattooed and wanted something small done, here in Boulder. Professional, quick and cleanly. I only had a small quote done, but from what I can tell, these guys are all very talented artists. I am very happy with how it turned out and will probably return here again in the future to get more!

My girlfriend and I decided to try to get a couple small tattoos while visiting boulder for a night. Elatia knocked it out of the park for us. She was friendly, casual and attentive to what we wanted.Thanks for a great experience!

Went in one afternoon after calling ahead and seeing If they could take a walk-in. I was there for my first tattoo and was tattooed by Vinny. He treated me with great professionalism and gave me exactly what I wanted while making me comfortable. It was a great first time experience and all the artists at the shop were awesome to be around as well. This shop will not let you down.

I’ll say first that the artists in the shop were very down to earth and I felt like we got along really well right off the bat. I came in to just get some background/negative space filled in on my sleeve. I don’t even know what say. I’m planning on going somewhere else ASAP, hopefully find a better artist that can either salvage this or just black the whole section out as a cover-up piece. I hate to say this because the guy that tattooed me was a really likable guy, but after about 45 minutes in I realized that he was not a competent tattoo artist. He was very receptive to working with me, spending more time to blend colors and focus on details as we saw fit, very personable. But at the end of the day there was no real artistic talent or intuition from either of the guys there. The women next to me got a tattoo on her leg and did not seem excited about it.This was an overall disappointing experience for me. I will not be returning. I honestly don’t think this is the place you want to have someone permanently draw on your body unless you’re a cheap college student and don’t care about making mistakes yet.Cheap prices tho >.

I absolutely love Claw and Talon. I wish I could give it more than five stars, because it has earned a thousand in my book. Vinny was the artist I worked with most recently, but everyone in the shop is fantastic. Sam and Chelsea were so kind, and made conversation even though I wasnt their client this time. They both do very excellent work, but Vinnys personal style was what l was looking for in this particular piece. My latest piece was a cover up of several scars on my forearm. Ive been embarrassed to wear anything but long sleeves for a long time, until Vinny helped me. I came into the shop at noon, and even though he was busy he drew the tattoo and got me in that night, working late to do the outline. While I was being tattooed Vinny let me sit how I was most comfortable (even if it would have been easier to have me sit a certain way). I spent my two hours chatting with Vinny and Sam, who made me feel totally welcome. The piece I have now is not done yet, but it looks incredible. Even with out the color to finish it yet, the art draws the eye away from the horrible scars I have. The crisp lines of my flowers are exactly the look I want. They are beautiful and feminine, and I feel like I can proudly show off my art work in a girly outfit instead of having people ask about the scars. Vinny helped me not only move on, but erase a chapter in my life that is not a part of who I am. He gave me something I can proudly show off to anyone. The shop is clean, with a warm atmosphere. Whichever artist you work with will give you a terrific tattoo, at a good price, with an environment that you dont find often. Thank you so much to the wonderful artists of Claw and Talon, especially Vinny! I will always come here, and recommend it to everyone I know. I cant say it enough, THANK YOU CLAW AND TALON!

What a wonderful experience! I was tattood by Vinny and my friend was done by Wes. Both were professional, easy going, and fun people to be around. Vinny did a free hand spider web on me and it looks like it was always suppose to be on my arm! So so happy! Will be back!

Ive been tattooed by Morgan three times. Two walk ins, one planned. Shes so easy to work with and will adapt her tattooing style to give you what you want but still add her own beautiful flair. Youll get a wonderful work of art and hang out with a wonderful lady!

First- Justin was amazing. Clean, knowledgeable, professional and some of the cleanest line work Ive ever seen.Second- Amazing pricing. Other shops wuoted me 40 to 60 more for the piece I wanted.Third- Respectful team. I felt comfortable and relaxed and excited.Highly suggest this place

Got my tattoo done by Mark Schwartzman, my second done by him at this shop. INCREDIBLE WORK. I was beyond happy with the results, it looks superb. Super friendly shop, easy going and very professional. Mark did an incredible job and I could not recommend this place any more!

I had a intense touch up on a beautiful piece, the touch up done by Vinnie. I cant blame him, only myself for not choosing the right artist. But I do wish hed been like, Im not that talented, maybe you should go somewhere else. Instead of just going ahead and doing mediocre work.

Good prices. Doing COVID well enough. Lindsey did a great job and I will 100% be back to see her again. Their prices seem fair and they are quick to respond for appointments.

I came in with a very simple tattoo design. The artist rushed it an it is very obvious in the work. Parts of the tattoo are still raised a year later, or scars. The lines are not straight or even. The center piece wich is smaller an detailed is not even and looks like he just didnt want to spend the time to put a smaller needle on it. Not only that but the other artist in the shop when I was getting my work was extremely rude. I have no doubt they all have talent, but if they arnt interested they are going to rush through your work to get to the next client with more money.

Awful experience. I made an appointment with Nate 5 days in advance, and gave a $20 deposit. Not even 24 hours later I had a flight change that conflicted with the appointment, and had to cancel. I came in right away, and still with over 72 hours notice asked for my deposit back. Nate NEVER told me that this deposit was non-refundable, and was extremely rude and patronizing about the situation. He refused to give me my $20 back, claiming this out of the blue policy of non-refundable deposits. It was obvious he had pocketed and spent my money, and was unable to give it back in that moment. Please send $20 to my Venmo account @margaretlewis , I will delete this post.

I came here for a little triangle tattoo on my knee the lady was nice and professional. Shop minimum is $60. The place did look a little dirty though with bags of chips and drink laying around. Would come again though

These guys do a awesome job me and my wife have both received tattoos from here and the artists are great I highly recommend this place the owner is really nice and Justin is great artist his script lettering is on point definitely going to pay him a visit again.

Great shop and artist except venny. I have got a tattoo here about a year ago and it’s beyond faded. Line work is off shading is off and my skin is rejecting the brand of ink he used. Would not advice going here

I would give it no stars but Im forced to give 1.The stench of rude and pompous, really float thru the air as soon as you walk in. Stopped by to make an appointment and an artist claimed my idea for a few small tattoos were lame and unoriginal. If I wanted and felt the necessity to criticize his inked up arm, I would have, but Im not a dick. Will not have any work done here and will continue to spread the word about this spot.
