Aether Tattoo Club

I went in to have a current tattoo enhanced and re-worked, as I was not as happy with the original work (that was done by another artist at a different shop). Stephanie Lowe was amazing. She took the time to talk with me about my options and go over ideas. She hand drew (on me) the design enhancements and made sure I was aware of all the changes and additions she was making while she was drawing. I could not be more thrilled with the end results!! Stephanie is a true artist and I will be going back to her for all future tattoos. I highly recommend her and this shop. It was inviting and a very comfortable atmosphere.

Such a fantastic experience here. My husband and I wanted to get tattoos while we were in town and Angela was happy to accommodate us on a very short notice. Our tattoos turned out PERFECTLY and we had an awesome time hanging out. Angela even gave us excellent dinner recommendations afterwards. Thank you SO MUCH!! ❤️

Great experience … Olivia’s a hugely talented artist that we’re lucky to have in the area. Honestly everyone in there seems to be stoked on working there which speaks to the positivity of the shop. Good place to get tattooed, don’t delay, get in touch with them about your next piece!

Steph did an amazing job, she’s creative with her vision and so attentive to detail. She made me feel very comfortable and was also accommodating when I had a small change to the design. She’s a true artist!

We went in hoping for a walk in appointment for a few small pieces, John happened to be free and welcomed us in no problem! Such a clean shop, good vibes, and John was so so SO nice! Our tattoos ended up way better than we expected, and we absolutely love them. Definitely will return for more pieces with John. Loved the experience.

Got the linework done for a Japanese Traditional piece for my left arm and Angela (the artist who did the piece from design all the way to the linework itself) is an angel! A comedic angel! Its rare I ever feel so comfortable in a tattoo shop that I feel like if I wasnt experiencing such intense pain that I couldve fallen asleep. Id rate the shop and her work higher if I was capable of going past a 10/10. If you like the style find her on insta @amukaitattoos , best artist Ive met in Montana after a year of being here and cant wait for our next session!

Aether was a terrific experience from the consult to completion of the work. Angie is incredibly talented and willing to collaborate. The shop is lovely, and the other artists were warm and welcoming. So many modern tattoo clubs and shops are elitist-not the case here. Highly professional and immaculate.

Definitely the best tattoo shop in all of Bozeman. Aether has become my go-to shop not only in Bozeman but my go-to shop in general. They have a great group of artists and the talent is top notch. Olivia is incredible and I’m super lucky to have some of her artwork on my body. My style is bright and colorful and Olivia nails the colors, the line work, and my overall creative vision every time. So stoked on all my artwork I’ve gotten at Aether over the years.

The shop is badass! My tattoo came out badass! Stephanie was fast, detailed, and badass. Everyone else in there are badasses! I definitely recommend it and will be going back for more tattoos!

The artists and staff here are so warm and welcoming. John is super great and made sure I felt comfortable while getting my first tattoo. Love this place so much Ive already went back for my second tattoo!

I recently got some ink and I had a great experience at aether tattoo! My artist john was very skilled and I felt comfortable giving him the creative reigns as the artist, especially after seeing some of his other work. He didn’t mind making little adjustments and seemed to ask all the right questions so my tattoo is placed and shaded perfectly!Everything was clean, the artists there were professional but fun people. I would definitely recommend this shop and any of the artists there!

I got a tattoo with John Warren, and I cannot recommend him enough!!! Besides his style being excellent -- super clean black & grey -- he is highly professional, easy to talk to, and really takes care to go the extra mile to make sure your tattoo is great. I have rarely had another tattoo artist make me feel more comfortable. The shop is really clean and homey, too, perhaps the coziest studio Ive been to. I will DEFINITELY be returning to work with John. He is super talented and skilled as an artist, and just an all around quality person. Get a tattoo from John if you can!

Olivia’s done three pieces on me and she has been astounding! Her shop is immaculate and everyone who works there is so down to earth and welcoming. Even though I am moving out of the state I have already decided that I will be returning to the state to have her finish more work on me. Although I am biased towards Olivia doing work on me I must say that all of the artists do an amazing job and they all possess their own special qualities. If you ever find yourself in four corners you have to take a minute to stop into the shop I promise you won’t regret it!

Went in for a consult about what I wanted, greeted right away by Oliva she she was very kind & helpful. The environment was extremely welcoming. I set up my appointment up with John, & me with different options for whats best for my sleeve with no hesitation. Ended up getting exactly what I wanted, he helped make my sleeve better than it was. I will definitely sticking to Aether, and John as my artist from now on.

My daughter and I each got a small piece done together here. It was my daughters birthday and her first tattoo. We planned to get matching tattoos. Our scheduled artist canceled on us, but these guys were awesome and got us in so we could still celebrate our special occasion. John Warren was patient and very considerate of my daughter being 17. He made her feel comfortable and he educated her on responsible tattooing for her age. Thanks John!

The atmosphere is very welcoming. The artists are very kind and understanding of what you want while also giving their own professional input. My artist, Gregg, took a lot of time to make mine perfect after redoing it on paper and on myself several times. I am very impressed with how devoted they all are to their work. Thank you!

I got a handful of little tattoos from John yesterday, and Ive never been more pleased in my life. The artists here are skilled and knowledged in what they do; the only way youre getting a bad tattoo is on your end. Excellent work, great conversation, good company, pleasant atmosphere... a lot of pain but that comes with the territory. 11/10! Will be back here in a few months.

Great shop everyone is super nice, very clean. I was tattooed by olivia and could not be happier. She is an amazing artist line work, shading, the detail everything about my tattoo was perfect, and just what i wanted. Shes one of the best and worth the wait.

Olivia did my thigh piece. Absolutely stunning. She answered all my questions and really calmed my nerves. It was my first real piece done and I continue to get compliments over and over again about the quality of it. Its almost 3 years old now and still looks new. I will always recommend Olivia and her work to everyone I know.

Greg did an amazing job with tattoos for my husband and me! Our tattoos are pretty small and the details and shading he was able to add to them was really impressive. Plus he was very friendly and fun to talk to!

The shop itself looks amazing. I have a good dozen tattoos that i have recieved from all over the western US. This was the worst experience I have had with an artist. I had an apointment scheduled on a certain day at a certain time and the day had to change because they had something booked (which was no big deal to me). When i showed up on the day of tattoo, i was told i was a half hour late, (although email confirmed otherwise). She refused to do it and said she was so mad that it wasnt a good idea. Although I respect the decision to not put ink on a person while angry, I do not appreciate a rude attitude when I was willing to pay a lot of money for something that we where both excited for. There are other tattoo artist out there so oh well. I do not recommend the artist but the establishment looks legit.
