An all around amazing experience! Made me feel so comfortable as a walk-in and worked with me to find a design for a piece Ive been wanting for a long time. Found their shop after walking out on a different artist who wasnt willing to tweak the design to a style I wanted permanently on my body. They were able to get me in right away. All of the employees were so welcoming and made me feel right at home, especially as a woman. Chatting with Gabby eased all of my nerves and when I worked with Nick he was more than willing to change the design until I was in love with the piece. He was thoughtful of the placement and my wellbeing throughout the whole process. Definitely recommend and I love how it ended up turning out! My favorite tattoo so far!

I am so happy with the Tattoo I got from Nick. He took my drawing and made it into something I love. Went to other shops and did not get the welcome I did when I came here. Dont waste your time anywhere else just come here. This was my 1st Tattoo and if I ever get another it will be done here as long as I live in Montana and I might even drive back if not. Thanks Nick for being awsome.

Got my first tattoo here. The artist (and owner) was accommodating, patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to talk to me about what I wanted, instead of trying to rush me into getting something (like some other places out here). Glad I went here!

4-06-2024Went in around 12:40pm and left my name and number cause it was busy.Told them that me and the wife had a date night and would like to get work done. Got a call around 4:30pm to get tattooed. The wife and I couldnt be happier!! The hole shop had a great vibe and Nicolas is a outstanding artist and just a chilled dude! We will be going back and thank you for making our night the best date night!!

The staff was very nice and squeezed me in for a quick walk in between appointments. This is one of the cleanest shops I’ve ever been too. However, i got a simple tattoo on my wrist that has blown out due to the artist having a heavy hand. I have plenty of other tattoos and i knew the second the needle hit me that it was way too deep.

Best experience I’ve had at a shop. The place is sick on the inside, staff is incredible! Very professional, kind & very friendly. Nick gave us our tattoos today, two of them. Got us in and out quickly & he made me feel like it was MY tattoo (because it is) and he wanted to only enhance its quality and placement of things. Top notch man. Thank you!! Huge shout out!

Gotten all of my tattoos here (so far). They all do great quality work. I’m very happy with the healed results of all of them. The biggest problem when people get tattoos is not listening to the directions of how to treat it for the next few weeks. If you do everything correctly, you’ll have positive results.

I have to say that the whole staff here were very nice, fun, and respectful. They sounded like they knew what theyre doing. Although, I have to say Im disappointed with my tattoo by DJ. Looking at it from afar isnt bad but then after examining the details, I can tell the line work was terrible. Makes me feel like a kid drew it. I will just have someone in my hometown for it. Not worth over $100. Oh well 🤷🏽‍♀️

From the first moment the owner returned our inquiry call, he was kind, helpful and professional. Our appointment went so smoothly with tattoo artist DJ doing a spectacular job bringing our family tattoos from Montana to life! The owner (the wife) was so precious, gave us shopping places to enjoy and truly made our experience one of a kind and memorable!

From start to finish, the experience was top notch. The staff were so warm and welcoming that I felt comfortable right away. My brother and I got some very simple matching tattoos with Nick and we both couldnt be happier with the experience and final product! He was friendly and personable, making it an easy and worry-free appointment. Ive now gotten both my tattoos through Tattoo Alley and have nothing but positive things to say about the employees there and the awesome artwork they produce.

Have been going to Sean for years! Every piece I have is custom. Sean can take the craziest ideas and turn them into amazing art pieces! DJ & Nick havent done any of my work however Ive seen their work as well and it is also superb. All 3 of these men turn out amazing work that stands up to the test of time. Highly recommend anyone working in this shop. They will not disappoint!

I went here for a walk-in tattoo while my friends had an appointment. It was about 3 weeks ago and my artist was DJ. Long story short I ended up with a with lots of bruising and also a lot of bled out ink. First time ever for both of these things out of 14 pieces. Very bummed about it.:( Beware the heavy hand. Other than that the shop and its owner were pretty rad.

Nick was awesome and does beautiful work. He worked with us to get us scheduled in fast. Very clean shop and friendly workers. My husband and I couldnt be any happier!

This was the cutest/best place to get a tattoo! Everyone was so nice! Nick did a wonderful job drawing and tattooing my tattoo! He would never let anyone leave unhappy, that’s for sure. 10/10 recommend!

My friend and I scheduled time with Nick. We came in with simple ideas. Nick took our ideas and ran with it. He put his own artistic spin on them, and we LOVED the results.The shop was clean and had a cool setup. Everyone was very friendly. Another artist even have us some recommendations for things to do in Bozeman (were from out of town) and we had a great time.

A tattoo shop that truly goes above and beyond. The tattooers are true artists, and are always friendly and willing to help. If one tattooer doesnt feel comfortable with a certain style, theyll refer you to one of their colleagues who might be better suited with it. They will also tell you if what you have in mind is a bad idea, even if it costs them an appointment, which to me, in the tattoo world, is important. They arent just out for your money, and they take pride in their work. The shop is always extremely clean and orderly, and tastefully decorated. Its certainly not your average, run of the mill tattoo shop, with black or red paint. The theme here stays true to Montana, with earthy colors and some awesome stained wood. Ive had several smaller tattoos done here, as well as a half (as of right now) sleeve, very well planned and vibrantly colored by Nick. Everywhere I go, when my arm is visible, I get stopped.

The Tattoo Alley crew is phenomenal. Every single one of them is friendly and always willing to talk with you about anything you can think of. The styles are diverse across the board so if the person you talk to doesnt quite do what youre looking for one of the others will more than likely be able to hook you up with what youre seeking.The place is very clean. They take their sanitation 110% seriously so if you have any problems with the work you get done in the shop its most likely because you werent paying attention to the after care instructions that they go through with you.DJ is the main guy I go to but if it came down to it I trust every single one of the crew to take the needles to my skin.If youre looking for a great tattoo for fair prices this shop is for you.

We called ahead with 4 tattoos, showed up with 5 people getting tattoos, we had told them a design on the phone and some of us changed our mind. Loren aka Sugar was awesome! He was very patient with us and all of the changes we had made. He did an amazing job on the tattoos and they were extremely fair priced! Will recommend Loren and this shop to everyone!!!

This was a very clean, and professional environment! Nick listened to exactly what I wanted to have done and took the time to make sure the designs were perfect before doing the actual tattoos. I have had 2 tattoos done here and I do not plan to go any other place! Highly recommend this place!!

Me and two of my friends went in for a few tattoos and we all absolutely LOVE them! DJ and Sean were very professional and the store itself was clean and felt like a safe space to go get a nice tattoo

Ive visited many tattoo shops and this is by far my favorite. The artists and staff are all friendly and energetic. The work I got done looked great and healed without a problem. Great atmosphere in this place.

Had a very good experience for my first tattoo. My artist was friendly and professional, and gave good guidance for after care. Were very friendly to me as a walk in for a simple piece. Even offered me free touch ups for that piece. Would definitely recommend.

Came in for a tattoo on the recommendation of a friend. Service was fast and friendly, but the colors mixed were not what I wanted and the simple stick figure tattoo I got has lines of such varying intensity that I am going to eventually go elsewhere to have it touched up. Parts of my tattoo never even got inked, other parts are so deep and fuzzy that it looks blurred after less than 3 months. :-(

Id been to every tattoo shop in Bozeman before I came here and this was the shop I thought had the best quality, the fairest prices, and the friendliest staff. Even today when I came in exhausted after work and not making too much sense, Nick was patient and I left happy with some great work done. Sean is my go to guy and hes done an entire half sleeve on me. Easily the best shop here in Bozeman.

This is one of those shops that just feels like home from the moment you walk in. I brought a friend here for an appointment she had scheduled some weeks in advance and decided to see if I could add something small to my collection while I waited. The artists were beyond happy to help me out and I absolutely love the lil ghosty guy I walked away with! I no longer live in the area but Im so excited to return to give him some background next time Im in Montana.

Asked nick to redo a stencil, which i then liked, and then the tattoo was the same as the original stencil. it was a very simple shape and is crooked on my body, which i specifically asked him to correct the first time. my friends tattoo is super cute and perfect though.

I got a tattoo here about 8 months ago, by the big guy in the far back corner, Izzy I believe his name is. I have a lot of tattoos and this by far was the most expensive and worst looking. There was a portion of the tattoo that has many intersecting lines and he dug the needles in so far that he removed a good chunk of skin in the middle. Now there is a big white scar in the middle of my tattoo. All the black straight lines have bled out, and they are of varying thicknesses and darkness. 8 months later i am still getting infections and cysts forming under the tattoo. The ink is terrible quality, and has already started fading. He was going on about he mixes his own inks and how they are superior to other tattoo artists. For your health and out of self respect stay away from here, east main isnt much better either.

Sean and Nick are great guys. They are professionals and take their art seriously but the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. And, the music vibe is eclectic! The studio is clean bright!

If I could give a Negative rating i would. I walked in with 4 friends wanting to get tattooed and they were rude and not helpful. We all ended up leaving. I wanted a tattoo on my finger and he said he wouldnt tattoo my hands unless I was heavily tattooed I was wearing jeans and long sleeve, he didnt know how many tattoos I had, just assumed. What does having me being tattooed heavily have to do with placement? Im aware that I would have to get it touched up in the future. Disrespectful & rude. Would not recommend. Thanks anyways guys.

Great staff that will go above and beyond for a client. Dont have an appointment? Call or show up they will take time to work with you or set up the earliest availability they have. Very friendly great atmosphere awesome tattoo work.

Tattoo Alley was great, very clean and professional. I walked in with no appointment & they were super nice and managed to get me in. Cameron did an excellent job and I will definitely return with my next tattoo. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I are on vacation in Big Sky and decided to get a tattoo to commemorate our experience in the mountains. Both the guys working were incredibly nice and helpful in drawing up what we wanted. The end result was great and if we are ever back in the area we would definitely hit them up again.

Worked with Izzy who helped draw up an idea I had and in less than two hours for the biggest tattoo Ive ever gotten. Cant say it didnt hurt, but Ive definitely not had a more comfortable experience!

Shawn has been working on me for years. I am a retired Marine who lives in California. The work I needed had deep purpose, fallen brothers. Needless to say, Shawn nailed it! Going home for a pin up soon. Love these dudes, check out their outstanding work.

The experience was horrible. I did the tattoo in two sessions. DJ charged me $525 for something that looks like a prison tattoo. I asked him to fix the things I saw wrong and he said after he completed the tattoo and never did. I am embarrassed of it. He is heavy handed and has no business tattooing.

Nick is very talented!! He has exceeded my expectations over and over. Hes fun to be around. His color tattoos are like nothing Ive ever seen!

When i called around the places in Bozeman, Tattoo Alley was the most friendly and helpful on the phone. I quickly and easily got an apointment set up. I was nervious because it was my first tattoo but the calm atmostphere and fun music helped ease my nerves. DJ did my tattoo and had a helpful and fun attitude the whole time. Ive only heard good things about this place. Dont let rhe literal alley scare you away!

Went in for a walk-in, and they were all VERY rude. Each of the artists acted like they hated their jobs and didnt want to be there. No enthusiasm, no greeting when I walked in. I talked to a guy for a little while and decided to leave without a tattoo because he had no genuine interest at all

I have several tattoos & my mom went to get an awesome piece on her hip & I was IMPRESSED! Im in town visiting & will definitely let them work on me! Highly recommend!

These guys were awesome, my navel piercing had slightly closed up and he helped me out and gave me the cheaper option too... plus theyre super sarcastic and hilarious. Thanks :) Ill be sure to repay you w some cheaper dog meds :)

I got tattooed here a week ago, and cannot recommend this place more! My artist was Loren- he did a fantastic job with both the drawing and the tattoo itself.

Nick was quick and skilled. He gave me what I asked for even tho it wasnt exactly what he had drawn up. I really appreciated it.
