NYC Tattoo Shop

I went to this tattoo parlor for a Friday 13th event and it was quite an exciting experience. It has some lit vibes and everything looks spectacular. Tattoo artists and the clientele here is very chill and laidback. There are a lot of designs to choose from.

My friends and I went on a flash sale special, do take note that the $44/$88 is for the minimal designs in their book and nothing more than 1-1.5 inches. Theyre fast to charge up. My tattoo artist was fine and did awesome line work. However, am giving 2 stars only because his station was left completely dirty and had to wait an extra 40 minutes to get started because somehow when we got there they only had one tattoo artist in the shop and I also had to wait extra for my artist to clean his station. My boyfriend also got this tic tac toe one but he mentioned that the tattoo artist had a heavy hand. True enough, his tattoo was bruised and swollen for nearly a week and was charged $100 for that.

Booked an appointment with Rusty and let me tell you this; if youre in NYC and looking for a tattoo, go to this shop and ask for Rusty!He did amazing tattoos for us, helped us with the placement and size of the tattoos. His work is super clean and hygienic and his linework is a-ma-zing! Keep up the great work, youre gonna be one of the best out there!Thank you so much for the tattoos and fun evening in general. We had an amazing time and wouldnt have want to spend our evening any other way. Oh and your playlist rocked! ❤️

10/10 experience with ANITA! This sweet, down to earth soul is super talented and did a superb job. I’m extremely impressed and satisfied with my tattoos. The entire process from start to finish was great. She designed a custom butterfly for me. She patiently listened to what I wanted and also gave me great professional advice. The end result..a dope tattoo that I love. Will definitely come back for more and would 1000% recommend to fam/friends. Quality work and reasonably priced. Clean environment, friendly artists. My total was around $420

I came in on the whim of getting a tattoo for my love. Anita greeted me upon arrival and explained everything to me as well as helped out with finalizing my concept. It is amazing to be able to walk in and made welcome when you are still brainstorming an idea. I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Paps is an amazing tattoo artist and is so versatile. Im always very pleased with the results - I have gotten 4 tattoos from him already. He is super friendly and listens to what you want very well. I will definitely be back for more!

Everyone is very nice and welcoming. Walked in after seeing street posters a few weeks ago and Thalia did a great quick design I’d been thinking of and I love it. 2 weeks later I came back for another small one and had the pleasure of working with Mickey. Very happy with both experiences and super glad I made the initial stop. Would definitely recommend anyone at the shop! They have some stellar flash tattoos they are offering as they build the business so it’s a great time to stop by.

Eli is the absolute BEST! They got my angel numbers looking so crispy and clean and even offered free touch ups (not that I’ll need any because they are PERFECT). I live in DC but will be coming back to them for my next tattoo. The price was so generous and the vibes were immaculate. Easy conversation and a great listener. Everything you could want in an artist 💕

Paps is the best tattoo artist I’ve worked with. My “get what you get” tattoos and custom pieces all have the highest attention to detail and most creative use of colors. Paps is an artist that will make your idea unique and beautiful.

Had some floral work done by Rusty a few weeks back. It has healed beautifully and barely hurt. He has a super light hand so compared to the other pieces I have, this was a piece of cake. He was super detailed in his work and precise. Had a good convo, the shop was playing solid music, and he did a sick job. Overall awesome experience would go to him again

When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Bethany and she was supper accommodating with the flash designs and understanding! Bethany was not too aggressive with the needle but made it so the tattoo will last, I love it!I had a lovely experience, would definitely come back! The studio may be small but it is so welcoming!

I had such a good experience with Tarcilla, who I found on instagram (@tata_tattoony). Her design for our custom tattoo was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. She also was extremely accommodating with any changes we wanted made.The tattoo was very detailed and her shading was beautiful. Super happy with the results, will definitely be coming back!

Its sad to see that Im not the only one who got scammed by their fake instagram sale of $88 tattoos. I really liked one of the designs advertised for that sale but when I got there and showed them the post, they said they wouldnt be able to do the design for the $88 because it was too intricate and that price was only for tattoos that would be no bigger than 1in x 1in. I was really confused as to why they would advertise that design if it wasnt even part of the sale, and why they wouldnt disclose the size limit anywhere in the caption, but I still wanted to get the tattoo so I decided to pay the bigger price for the bigger tattoo. This was a mistake. The tattoo is simple, its just a heart made of barbed wire, and frankly its not that big either. I have an older tattoo that is pretty similar in size, a bit smaller, with much more intricate detail that looks MUCH better than the heart. Its only been two years and the tattoo has completely bled and looks like garbage. Im still appalled that I paid almost 3 times the price compared to the other tattoo only to end up with such an awful result. I genuinely regret going here and will for sure never get another tattoo from this place.

Anita is the BEST. She took the time to figure out exactly how I wanted my tattoo finished and was incredibly patient with me. I will absolutely be working with her again for future tats.

When I say Tarcila got me all the way together!! She did just that from drawing my tat out and helping me figure out a concept for my coverup. She was so polite and quick!

Came a few months back for their promo flash deals and worked with Mickey. When i sent him a healed pic he offered to touch up a lil dull spot. I came in early and he touched up both the tats i did with him and they pop and look great. He even touched up another tattoo i had with faded handwriting. We had a great convo and plans for some more work. Thank you forThe “hustle butter” cream for my healing. Definitely recommend him!

My mom and I came here to get tattoos to remember our trip we took to New York. Paps took FANTASTIC care of us! He was professional, quick, and very friendly. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for some new tattoos.

I scheduled an appointment for September 4 at 10 a.m and when I got there the store was locked and empty. I tried calling a couple of times but no one answered. I opened my email to make sure I had the right place and that’s when I noticed they canceled my appointment for that location and rescheduled me for their location almost 30 minutes away!I called that number and got a lady who told me that it happens and in order to get a refund I needed to send her boss a message on Instagram. She refused to give me his phone number even when I told her I’m not sending an Instagram message, I wanted to talk to him on the phone. She ended up hanging up on me. If I hadn’t disputed the $100 appointment fee charge with my credit card company then I would have never received a refund for no service.At 10:25 while I was walking away (I was on the phone by their store the entire time), the tattoo artist walked up and unlocked the door. He said he had overslept, but he wasn’t in a hurry or even apologized for being late.I definitely don’t recommend going there.

Just had my first tattoo with Anita, and I say first because I will definitely be going back to her. She worked with me over the course of a week, drawing multiple sketches and making my vision a reality. She was patient, thorough, meticulous, and I couldn’t be happier with the final product. She’s also a total sweetheart! I HIGHLY recommend her!

Had an amazing time at this tattoo shop! I got a flash tattoo done by Paila (@paila_tattoo) and he was quite literally the best artist I’ve worked with. He was super kind, super efficient, and I experienced the least amount of pain of any of my tattoos.If you go for a flash tattoo, be prepared to wait a bit because of how busy the place can be. There’s some good coffee shops and pizza places around.

Anita is a very skilled tattoo artist. Her attention to detail ensures that each tattoo she creates is top-notch. But what makes her stand out is her friendly and caring nature. Shes the kind of person who makes you feel comfortable and relaxed during the tattooing process! I’ll definitely be going back to her if I plan on getting another tattoo!

Went to Eli to get my tattoo colored in that we started at my last visit to NY. I’ve now been going back to Eli for about 2 years now. Incredible artist, patient, listens, but also has a point of reference. The experience is always fun, memorable, and truly can’t wait to go back!

My friends got me a birthday tattoo with Tarcila, she was so reassuring, I’ve felt the place was nice but the care and preparation she did over her station was so caring and neat. The result of my tattoo was beautiful, by the way was my first one and she definitely made it easier to think about my next one!

Just moved to Brooklyn & decided to utilize this shops flash tattoo promo to find a new artist (this is how i found the artist who did my initial half sleeve out of state). Made an appt for 11AM, shop says it opens at 10AM. No one ever showed for my appt and i waited for them for 45 min, called their # & messaged their insta. Was really excited to find a potential new artist & am a little bummed at the inconvenience :(

Me and my friend decided to get a last minute tattoo during our trip in NYC. We looked at their Instagram and really liked Anita’s style. We reached out to her on Instagram, she replied superfast and we could get an appointment immediately the next day. She works super safe and secure. Even when I wanted part of my tattoo to be a bit darker, which was literally one dot, she cleaned and rewrapped the whole station again! Would definitely recommend!

Paila was awesome. Super friendly, nice, efficient, personable. Tattoo came out better than expected. Im from Oregon and I booked an appt online, was a little worried. My worries were unnecessary. He made the process smooth and easy, didnt try and up-sell us. Was super polite about asking if he could film/photo for his instagram, which we were happy to do. He also observed excellent sanitation protocol and gave us some samples of tattoo cream that were great. Overall awesome experience, would recommend.

The guy at the front was a little bit rude. He told us we had two people ahead of us as welkins but it turned out to be more like 6. Was not honest at all about the wait time or if we could leave and come back. I’ve gotten plenty of flash tattoos both big and small I feel like this place has one of the worst systems set up. Also idk if they were having problems with their systems but it was cash only. Wouldn’t try this place again.

I found this shop on instagram because they were running a promotion and I’m glad I did! Mickey was both my sister and I tattoo artist and it was a great experience. He had great energy and conversation. He also added his own spin on the designs we brought in which was nice also. He took his time and gave suggestions. I look forward to coming back for more ink !

He said to come back for a touch up and when we showed up he pushed us out of the shop and locked us out without hearing a word. Never have been treated so poorly. If you end up here go to Lawrence (Val) 100x better work and service

If I could give them a 10 star, I definitely would! They are clean, courteous and professional, but also super friendly and most of all make you feel comfortable. They do get packed because of all the walkins so making an appointment is definitely suggested. They are reasonably priced and will work with you depending on your budget. NYC Tattoo Shop took myself and three friends during a walk-in promotion, and the artists were incredibly welcoming and flexible with the designs we sought. The prices were also very fair for the level of work being done. Mickey has a gentle touch and did a phenomenal job with a fine line floral design I requested.

Wow. Just wow. I booked an appointment on Thursday for a 9:30 pm appointment. Right after I messaged Ryan on IG about a “one and done” tat he had just posted up. Ryan was super nice and very thorough in explaining pricing to me and etc through IG messages. I arrived at 9:30 and had to wait a little bit before I could get tatted but I didn’t mind as the tat I was getting was gonna turn out super nice. Ryan stayed until 11:50 that night just to finish my tattoo and lemme just say, the tattoo is one of, if not my favorite tattoo I have. He killed it!! Not to mention how dedicated he was to the job. Will definitely be returning just for Ryan!

My sister got a tattoo here and suggested I should try it out.I drove 1 and half hour to the City with an appointment for a flash tattoo. Getting there the tattoo artist showed me different sizes of the tattoo I wanted starting at $180!!!! Not like $88 like advertised in the website. A waste of my time. That’s a scam. disappointed.(EDIT: tried to warn other users on instagram, on the flash tattoo post, they deleted my comment after about a minute…)

Came here with a group of friends and we all loved the outcome and customer service was out of the world.So after we left, with some aftercare they gave us to write a good review...3 out of 2 of the tattoos ended up being blown out. My friends tattoo of a moon was lopsided and my friends tattoo of a moth was hurting her more than it should have and was on the verge of infection . We all are not new to having tattoos, we know the ropes. I want to say they did their best but...they looked from one another through apprenticeship and when bad habits teaches bad habits it can’t be helped

Traveled an hour and a half to get here because I called and was told that I could walk in for their flash deal 45 minutes prior to arriving. Get there and was told it’s actually a 2 hour waitlist and was asked if I called the right location. I did. Extremely frustrating.

Had a great experience with Paps!! Very pleasant and relaxed environment, absolutely thrilled with how it came out! And as a bonus, he used my favorite type of dressing.

I originally came here after I saw the flash-sale on Instagram and saw the page had a ton of followers and looked legit, which I later found out they have almost every month, it seemed like a way to get people in-and-out. Regardless, me and my girlfriend made an appointment on a Saturday and arrived on time, we waited about 2-3 hours before someone finally came up to us. The wait was extremely long but Alise made our experience worth the wait, she was understanding and knew what she was doing, she was also the friendliest out of all of the artists there. The pictured tattoo was done by Alise, although I love the piece, a couple weeks after it was fully healed I saw there were a couple of line breaks and the tattoo looks faded compared to my other tattoos I’ve gotten elsewhere. I have plenty of tattoos including large pieces so I know how to properly take care of it, based on other tattoos I’ve seen done at this shop I think the issue comes down to the ink they use. I don’t think the wait is worth it again so I’m getting it touched up elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend getting anything intricate here, only small “flash” tattoos. I wish they had a better appointment system which they actually followed and perhaps a front desk person to take care of guests instead of waiting for an artist to finish their work to then go take the next person like clockwork, it felt very rushed and impersonal.

Waste of time.Back in november I went for the 25-40$ tattoo days. I waited 3 hours for an artist to arrive 2 hours after my scheduled appointment. Not only was he shaking while doing my tattoo, he couldnt apply my transfer paper correctly which took 4 tries. Dont come here if you want intricate, detailed and well done tats. This is what it looks like 3 months healed.

I loved my tattoo experience, Tarcilla did an amazing job and was very helpful when I was looking at designs. She kept her station and my skin very clean while she was tattooing, and she clearly has a very good eye when it comes to shading and values. She was also so cool to chat with and I love how my tattoo came out. It was a great experience. I would 100% get another tattoo from her, I liked her a lot. That said, I would not ever let Mickey do any work on me or anyone I know. I went with someone else who got their tattoo done by him the same day and it was horrible. I had originally put a review because of a promo at the shop, but I am revising it because I genuinely don’t want anyone else to get their tattoo messed up by him. The tattoo my friend got is now extremely scarred, the shading is very sloppy. It will have to be gone over by a new artist to repair the damage done. There was a complete lack of technical skill, hygiene, and time management in our entire experience with him. He also did not properly wrap the tattoo once it was finished, and the pricing was a complete racket. I waited with my friend for hours after my tattoo had finished. All of the other artists that were there that day seemed great and since we were waiting for Mickey for several hours to finish the subpar tattoo he did, I got to see a couple finished designs by other artists. They all looked great! Overall, I would return only if I had scheduled with a specific artist that I knew would not be Mickey. My friend had a very disappointing experience and her tattoo will ultimately never look as good as it could have if someone (anyone) else there had produced it. We will be looking for another studio to fix the tattoo he did.

As someone who has multiple tattoos, I came across this shop on Social Media, and decided just to take a chance, and I was not let down. Anita was amazing, very caring and open to ideas. I appreciate her taking her time, her line work incredible. She really brought my ideas to life. I went here to get my first tattoo! And it was honestly an amazing experience, Dean..he did my tattoo and was funny and made me feel comfortable as well! Definitely coming back in the summer to get my second tattoo!

Overall, this was a great experience. I Came early in the afternoon, Lawrence was waiting for us outside and walked us through their specials and offerings. He was super professional and answered all sorts of questions about designs, cover up’s, and general tattoo stuff. He absolutely blew me away. This is my 12th tat, and by far the best. His precision to accuracy, my flinches from pain, and his delicate touch made this the Easiest 3 hour sesh. The whole time we talked about all sorts of experiences and I will say, he’s a great conversationalist and kept me distracted from what could’ve been a long and gruesome experience. If you made it this far, just know he’s the guy to go to! Check this place out, they won’t disappoint. The other artists are also super fun, they checked in, had conversations with us, and we all had a good time. The place was clean and they wiped down all instruments. Nothing bad to say honestly.

DO NOT HAVE FABIAN TATTOO YOU he’s very unprofessional and rude he refused to tattoo my friend because he didn’t like her “energy” and he tattooed my other friend and this was the result after 10 days. Then kicked us out when we wanted to get it fix. TERRIBLE WORK DO NOT COME HERE

I randomly found an ad for their special promotional flash sale and decided to go on a weekday. I didn’t know what to expect.Once I arrived I was greeted by Paila who made me feel at “home” right away. He answered all my questions and concerns and he magically helped me on a specific tattoo I always wanted. Not only did he do my tattoo.. but he absolutely killed it with the design and details!If anyone is unsure on who to talk to or has no idea which person to go with… PAILA is your guy!! I love this cute tattoo shop in Green Point. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and the stations are always very clean. Everyone wears masks. My tattoo artist JD went above and beyond for my tattoo wishes and made them come to life. I would recommend making an appointment here.

Place was kinda weird.. the tattoo it self was fine, but the IG ad said flash sale $44 but ended up spending $200 because the $44 option was soooo tiny and would end up blurring together over time. made an appointment for 3:15 waited till about 5:30 to get the tattoo. didn’t have me sign any consent form or anything like that which i thought was odd.. also didn’t tell me any after care, luckily this wasn’t my first tattoo. to top it off on our way out 2 artists got into a disagreement and the one flipped the table on the other artist.. ran to get cash and they were still arguing when we got back..

I was instantly greeted when I came in and they gave me time to look at all their flash pieces. Giovanna was my artist and they were great! They made sure I was comfortable throughout the process and checked to make sure I was happy with the design before finishing up. Had a wonderful experience ☺️

Booked one of those flash appointment special. didnt know what the expect based on the numerous reviews of other folks whove went there. I guess it depends on the day, time of day and the artist who are working there at that moment, but I had an absolutely pleasant experience with Giovanna. An amazing artist who took her time to execute what I was looking for. I am super happy that I went there, I have an amazing tattoo and I will definatly be going back to get more work done from Gio!

Not a welcoming tattoo shop for people of color. Went last week to partake in the sale and watched as they prioritize, my friend, and I even though they were too young black women who were there before us even after being seated, I watched as the two women stood waiting to be held, they then proceeded to ask one of the artists if they could ask her a quick question, which then the artist quickly cut them off and said “I’m clocking out” rudely and refused to help them even after the two young women decided they should leave, that artist stood there for a good 10 minutes doing absolutely nothing. It was very clear that they were NOT interested in serving them. IT gave 1950s in 2024.The lack of colored skin on their Instagram page should’ve gave me the hint that these tattoo artist maybe aren’t skilled in all types of skin

Originally came in the shop not knowing what I wanted, but then came across this dagger. Lawrence did an amazing rainbow color scheme on my arm. I let him have freedom with it, & it came out better than I imagined it. Its perfect! Thats why I keep coming back to this shop.

Got a small hanja lettering tattoo here done by Mickey - he was the absolute best! I walked in and didn’t really have an exact idea or image of what I wanted but he gave me a detailed design consult without rushing me. Hanja (korean chinese characters) that doesn’t use the typical font is so hard to describe!! Somehow he just took my shoddy drawing (lol) and vague descriptions and custom designed the exact tattoo I wanted. I was super impressed at how steady his hands were working on the very, very fine straight lines; mostly though his professional and friendly manner made me comfortable in communicating the teeniest details of what I wanted and his skillful work resulted in the perfect tattoo. Def would come back here to get another one from Mickey!

Came here cause I saw the Flash Sale sponsored post on Instagram and was absolutely intrigued. The people there were so friendly and nice and they definitely worked with you if you have a design in mind. Im absolutely FLOORED with the amount of professionalism and will definitely be telling family and friends about this place.

Saw an instagram ad for their $88 flash tattoos and decided to make an appointment a week prior. anticipated it and was extremely excited. once i got there, NOBODY ASSISTED ME. i sat on a couch for AN HOUR with my partner and friend and NO WORKERS even acknowledged me. who treats their potential clients like that???? the shop was not busy at all and some jesus looking guy (a tattooist) decided to assist a lady he was attracted to the second she walked in, instead of acknowledging the fact that i had walked in 25 minutes before her and was waiting for someone to attempt to assist me (there was nobody at the front when i walked in, and i had to wait nearly 30 minutes for the person at the front). i ended up getting the attention of some lady at the desk when she got back, and she told me to sign the empty back of the sign in paper because the front was already full of names from previous clients throughout the day. after i wrote my name, about 10 minutes later, the jesus looking guy decided to cross my name out from behind the sign in paper, turn the sign in page back around and decides to draw another line/column in the front of the sign in page that was already full so the lady who came in 25 minutes after me could get seen before me. NOT ONCE did i get acknowledged by any of the tattoo artist or staff, and not once did anyone try to assist me other than me having to directly ask the person in the front (who wasnt at the front when i arrived & was gone for nearly 30 minutes) how i’m supposed to check in and go about this. i was pissed off, waiting there for an hour (i got there 10 minutes early, around 6:05 & my appointment was scheduled for 6:20). i ended up leaving at around 7:15 and took my business elsewhere. what’s the point in allowing your potential clients to book appointments if you won’t even assist them? it’s unprofessional and disrespectful. never again.

I got a simple design but it was so quick and effortless!! Literally done in less than 5 minutes by an artisan of the craft. Would definitely recommend as all the artist are incredibly talented.

We had an appointment for 9-10 for both me and my boy friend but it seems they were busy so we got started pretty late. But I got Lawrence to tattoo me and he was great. Made me comfy. Was patient with me and answered a few questions I had. He kept checking on me and using humor to just keep my mind off of things. Even let my bf stay close to me. Overall a good experience. Hopefully next time I don’t have to wait too long.

Dean was my artist and was very accommodating and clear about how large the tattoos we wanted would turn out to be, how long it would take, and the price of it. He is extremely talented, efficient, and most of all a fun person which made the whole process go super smoothly. Definitely recommend this place and @deansahar to get your tattoos. Also my friend liked my tattoo so much, she dragged us back to get her own!

I would give this 0 stars if I could. Terrible management. I set up a piercing appointment online for Sunday at 2 pm only for ME to call at 1:50 pm to ask a question and get told that the piercer actually wasn’t in that day and then when I tried to get a refund, I was told to contact the piercer on Instagram, which I don’t have. Whoever I was speaking to said they would tell the shop owner about it but then I didn’t hear back for days. Called again and got the piercers number just for the piercer to also say they would contact the shop owner. It’s been a week and I still haven’t gotten a refund that should’ve taken 10 minutes to receive.

This place is so tiny and cute! My tattoo artist was Sarah and she was incredible. Super sweet, talented and made me feel very comfortable during the whole session. I will recommend her to all of my family & friends and will definitely be back for some more ink(:

My tattoo came out beautifully. Made a few suggestions the artist didn’t take into consideration. I don’t think he was too excited to be doing the piece but still executed it gorgeously. Didn’t say one word while doing the tattoo even when I tried to have a conversation with him to make time go by and be personable. Apparently they only take cash which was not told to me in the beginning so I had to find and atm and pay the fees after the tattoo was done when I could’ve been better prepared prior to. Also the check in website stated if you do this review you were eligible for a free aftercare product and the artist refused to look for the product. I do have tattoos but he did not offer any type of aftercare or conversation after “You should know how to take care of these” and placed the bandage on. Again. Beautiful tattoo. The rest of the experience was just meh.
