The Art Scribe Tattoos

This is a beautiful home studio right off the Coney Island boardwalk. Joseph worked with me and a friend for quick matching tattoos and made sure we were comfortable as he set up his (clean and professional) station, which I was weary about since this is my first visit outside of an official tattoo studio. But my apprehension quickly dissolved. My friend and I had originally walked to another tattoo shop in the area and immediately got a bad feeling about the place. The Art Scribes atmosphere is a lot more welcoming. Good conversation, reasonable prices and clean work! Very happy we noticed this shops advertisement outside the other tattoo shop. Will definitely be back!

After arriving at an off putting tattoo shop with a friend of mine looking to get matching tattoos, we were discouraged. But, luckily to our surprise we looked up and saw Joseph’s advertisement that quickly drew us in. We made the decision to check him out and did not regret it one bit. Joseph was welcoming and very professional. His space and setup are very clean, which was reassuring. I am very happy with the work he completed for my friend and I and will be going back for future pieces.

My first experience getting a tattoo here was my best experience, not only because the great work itself!! but everything about it was amazing, such a beautiful atmosphere and the vibe was more then amazing I DEFINITELY WILL BE RETURNING !!!

He is hands down the best in Brooklyn! He does awesome line work. Always pays so much attention to detail, is warm and friendly and just awesome to talk to. Beautiful luxury studio in the heart of Coney Island! Go get that tattoo!!

I had a such a great experience! The energy and vibe is amazing and the view of Coney Island beach while getting tatted is breathtaking. I love the studio and all of the bright colors it is decorated with. Cool tapestries and a comfortable space for a great tattoo experience. I love my fine line tattoo.
