Trevor was amazing. Very accommodating. He definitely put me at ease. I have been trying to get my double nostril piercing to my liking for a long time in my home state. One visit with him and he made sure I left happy with the placement. I will definitely be going to him for all of my piercings here on out!

Anna did my nose piercing today and she was phenomenal! Very very kind, thorough, gentle and made me very comfortable that I barely felt a thing! Highly recommend!! The girl at the front desk was also super kind and very helpful as well but I did not catch her name! Overall had such an awesome experience!!

I took my daughter (6) for her first time ear piercing, Henry was absolutely amazing with her. He talked to her through the entire process and let her know she was in control of the situation. She only let the one ear get done today, but says shell let him do the second one in a couple weeks.We cannot speak highly enough about the compassion and understanding shared. I had such an easy going experience at CowPok. I came in for a piercing, and Anna was my piercer! She was extremely professional and straight to the point, while also making me feel extremely comfortable throughout the entire process. She is definitely going to be my new go to! I have 12 piercings total, and she was by far the best i have ever gone to!

One of my friends told me to go to this place and I’m so glad I took their advice. When I set up my appointment, there were only a few spots left for me to get 3 ear piercings in one session. I’m so glad I was able to get my 2nd and 3rd piercing! I’ve been wanting to get more piercings and this was the best place to go to. Trevor pierced my ears and talked me through every step of the way. It wasn’t that bad at all and I’m feeling confident that these piercings will heal quickly. Enjoyed my first experience here to get my belly pierced. Had very nice service but the second time around for my ear piercing I came from half an hour away with tolls and traffic and while i understand their five minute policy they sent a text saying “we’re running early” yet still sent us away for being two minutes late very rudely after we raced to get there and called telling them we would be there as soon as possible and they told us to still try and get there. It was a different girl working there that i hadn’t seen the last time. And she walked away for two minutes making it look like we were later than we were and told us that other people would be coming in shortly and that they’re running “minute to minute” I just think they shouldn’t have said they are running early if they are so booked. I was only getting my lobes RE-pierced it wouldn’t have even taken them the full 20 minute time frame but I believe she just wanted an excuse to be rude to us. Her customer service was clearly very poor and i would love to find out her name because all the other workers there were nothing but lovely especially Anna. nothing against them just wonder why they would hire someone so rude. They gave me a fee of $20 for being two minutes late while I’m very poor enough. Will not be going back to elmwood location and only williamsvilles. Upset with how rude they were to my mother who tried her best to get me there on time.

I absolutely love this place. I have brought my kids there many times for piercings and they are absolutely amazing. Super informative, gentle, and just an all around nice group of people. You go in and feel welcome the atmosphere is super chill and comfortable. Dont hesitate to go here 😊

I’ve gotten three separate tattoos from Hayley, all three were very stylistically different, and she knocked it out of the park with all three of them. Cowpok’s professionalism, communication, and cleanliness are all top-notch in the area, too. Great place for first-timers or those already with ink!

I will NEVER go anywhere else for my piercings! I have gotten everything from my ears to my belly button pierced and I’ve NEVER had a bad experience! Everyone that works at Cowpok from the piercers and tattoo artists to the jewelry experts up front are AMAZING! The best part about Cowpok is that not only do the piercers explain every step to you including after care, but they also sterilize everything in front of you so you know your having the safest experience possible!

My daughter went here to get her left ear lobe re-pierced as we couldnt get any earrings into it without it being very painful. The piercer only had to open up the channel and didnt even charge for the piercing! My daughter said it was the smallest pinch and it was done. The piercer, Anna B, was incredibly nice and helpful and explained everything as it happened. I highly recommend getting pierced by Anna and coming here for any piercing.

I was in town visiting a friend and made my appointment online. I made a mistake with the location and showed up to the wrong shop. Megan was so kind and still helped with my jewelry purchase and Trevor did an amazing install. I had two rings and a charm put in my ancient rook piercing. I am in love with it!Could not be happier with my choice of shop! Very impressed with jewelry selection and pricing. Can’t say enough nice things about this establishment. I will absolutely be back!

I got my nose pierced by Henry yesterday, 10/10, barley hurt and he was very calm and brought me through the process well, AND squeezed me in an hour early from my original appointment because I got there early.

Havent stopped in the joint in close to 10 years, and came back yesterday for my snakebite piercings 🌟 Jay did phenomenal, awesome service. I absolutely love how they came out. She communicated with every step, and professionally helped me add more character. Thank you all!

CowPok on Elmwood is a shoo-in for the best piercing parlor in the Buffalo area. Im a little biased, given theyve done my double brows, septum, a few other piercings, and just recently my double nostrils, but Im consistently impressed by the staffs skill as well as charisma. Its not going to be your cheapest piercing, but itll be a quality job.I specifically recommend Anna Beall and Trevor Lundvall.

Everything was pretty great, except they forgot to tell my sister the specific instructions on how to heal her nose piercing because she is a diabetic. She specifically asked if she needed to do anything differently and was told no. Four days later, it was still bleeding. She called in and was told how to care for it, and they said she should have been told at the appointment.

Someone recommended we see Anna for my daughters ear piercing and it was the best decision. Anna was excellent - they explained everything calmly and carefully, and spoke directly to my daughter in such a kind, respectful way. Everything from our initial reception through the checkout process was welcoming and outstanding. Plus the space is beautiful. I highly recommend.

This is a different kind of review… I had a patient come in today for an MRI.. livid with us because we told her she couldn’t have her BRAIN SCAN done with her piercings in and she couldn’t take them out.. she kept trying to show us a card from Cowpok saying “implant grade titanium, mri safe” written in marker.. please don’t ever do this as someone who knows nothing about mri safety.. MRI safe metal does not exist magnetic or not, only mri conditional. And safety aside, the piercings she had in would’ve made the brain scan completely unreadable due to metal void artifacts. Please reconsider ever giving people the impression they can always have an mri with their piercings, no matter the metal.

Update 5/14: I came back for 3 new piercings, I’ve been getting pierced here since 2015 and this is where I’m comfortable. It’s always been regarded as one of the nicer shops in town with expensive jewelry, the piercing price isn’t too much and I always tip my piercer to let them know i appreciate them and their work. I came to my appointment on time and again like the last, things were behind schedule. Luckily I had time to spare so I didn’t have a problem waiting and the wait room is comfortable, 15 minutes and I was next up. I’m happy with my piercings but I’m not happy about being overcharged. I reached out to my servicer and they told me email my concerns which I’m waiting to hear back. I know they have to pay for their equip & rent but charging for the jewelry AND the back piece is a bit much but ok I understand.The one thing that makes no sense is that even tho im spending $200+ and only in the building for 20-30min, I can’t use the wifi. To be a loyal customer and spending my hard earned money, and can’t even use their wifi while I wait is so sad. The girl in front asked me again if I needed to fill out the form which she already asked when I checked in & I told her I did online, then she said she doesn’t know the password and she couldn’t give it to me anyway. Wow ok. Otherwise she was helpful with my questions about the jewelry. Either make a guest wifi or allow the person who asks use it while they’re simply waiting to be serviced. It’s not like 30 people are using the wifi when there’s 3 tatt booths and 3 pierce rooms, if I was a random person asking but no I’m a customer and they’re acting like I’m a freeloader at a coffee shop. Besides being overcharged and not being allowed to use the wifi while my appointment was 15min behind, I love it here.—————I love the way they’re gentle and tell you what they’re doing so you feel calm. I’ve gotten many piercings over the years, everyone is nice here. Love the space, beautiful atmosphere!

Went and got my ear pierced by Anna and they were awesome. A few of my friends have gone and recommended them and I recommend getting piercings done by Anna!!

Got pierced here about a month ago (21st October) and my experience was great. Pierced by Trevor and they made the experience really comfortable. Piercing came out great and a month later I still love looking at it. On my way out I started to pass out and Trevor and the person at the front desk (Chloe, I believe) both were very accommodating, and gave me all of their attention to make sure nothing worse happened. Luckily it didnt. I felt very safe there the whole time and the piercing came out really nice. Overall a good experience I would go there again.

Very calm, collected, communicative, sanitized. My only complaint is that the starting price for a single piercing on each lobe is $124.

I’ve been to both locations. Anna is who I usually see at Elmwood. She’s knowledgeable. Makes you feel comfortable, especially with more intimate piercings. Offers great input and guidance when it comes to the care are process of getting pierced. This is someone who you can definitely tell is passionate about what they do and will always guide you in the right direction! But everyone at cowpok is awesome, regardless of who you go with :)

Trevor and the girl at the front desk were phenomenal. Trevor pierced my septum and repierced my philtrum and made it a breeze and he was so professional and friendly. The girl at the front desk helped me pick out my jewelry with my budget and style in mind. I was in and out within 20 minutes. I cant say enough about how great my experience was!

I took my daughter to the Elmwood location for a septum piercing for her 16th birthday this year. We had the most AMAZING experience with our piercer and the person who helped us pick out jewelry. They were patient(I mean incredibly patient it took my daughter a while to decide on jewelry), kind and explained every part of the process. Trevor was absolutely phenomenal!!! I was so impressed with his knowledge, professionalism, kindness and humor. My 15 year old got his septum pierced and it was just an over all great experience. Trevor will be our go-to piercer now. The girl at the front seat was also very professional, kind and knowledgeable.

I brought my extremely nervous 8 year old to get her lobes done and had the most amazing experience. Chloe at the front desk was so kind, explained to my daughter how everything would go and helped her pick out her jewelry. She was so patient and genuine and really put my girl at ease. Trevor did her piercing and was fantastic, he explained everything in great detail and made sure he asked for her consent before he touched her each time. He made sure to remind her she was in charge and had the say when things would happen. After he was done he told her how proud he was and that she was so brave. When we went to go cash out Chloe had picked out a button for her that said “I was brave at CowPok”. The shop and Trevor were very clean and professional. Highly recommend, especially for taking your younger/teen kiddos.

It was a great experience. The artists were all very friendly and experienced. The building was clean and had space to wait. Not the easiest to find, but worth going to. Parking was a bit difficult, as well. The tattoos turned out terrific though!

Ive been to their old Elmwood location to get a septum piercing and recently to their new location for a cartilage and both times have been wonderful. They are very knowledgeable of their craft and happy to help if you have any questions. They help you through the piercing both before, during and after the appointment. I had a very traumatic experience when I previously had my septum done at a different shop. I won’t name them just out of respect and I’m not one to bash anyone publicly. Just to sum it up the previous time it took an hour just to get the jewelry through and it was just so unbelievably painful. I went today to Anna and oh my gosh it was very quick and just a pinch! They went over all of the anatomy of the piercing itself so I could have an understanding as to where it is placed/how it’s done and how it heals. I would highly recommend coming to her for your piercing needs!

Can’t recommend this studio highly enough! The stylists are always friendly and helpful and Anna is BEYOND amazing. I’ve gotten several piercings from Anna are they are always kind, efficient, and willing to explain the procedure start to finish. The jewelry can be a bit pricey, but it is high quality and they always have more basic affordable options available as well. Overall a very welcoming and and enjoyable experience every time!

I got my septum pierced this morning and Bri was very kind and helpful when it comes to picking out the jewelry! Anna was a great piercer and incredibly gentile and explained the process of piercing and healing very thoroughly. They did the piercing quickly and made the environment very welcoming and painless considering I was a little nervous beforehand. What people don’t realize is you are also paying for their expertise. These are professionals who give advice, address concerns, and offer aftercare. The jewelry is high quality and thoughtfully sourced.For example:I had a lot of concerns with one of my piercing (I changed the jewelry way before I should) they were kind and patient. I sent the photos (Covid) and they gave me advice that ended up saving the piercing.I would absolutely recommend Cowpok.

I got 4g lobe piercings by Anna here, and the experience was so wonderful! It was my first time at this location, and everything was very clean, and everyone was super nice! I felt very comfortable the whole time, and Anna did a great job explaining everything thoroughly and making sure I was okay! It felt like everyone was just as excited as I was for the larger gauge, and overall it was such a smooth, positive experience! I love my new piercings, and couldnt recommend this shop more!!

I got my first tattoo done by derek and he did amazing! he spent a good amount of time drawing the design directly on me and made sure it was exactly how i wanted it. he was really kind and said if i needed a break or if i wanted to split up the session, it would be totally fine, but i powered through lol. he made me feel super comfortable the whole time and did an amazing job on the tattoo. i have my next one booked with him already :)

Ive gotten my nostril, some ear piercings, and jewelry changed here by Anna and have had nothing but the best experiences. I recently got my septum pierced by Trevor and was nothing shy of amazing as well. Completely respectable staff and have the easiest conversations with every time that make me feel that much more comfortable. They’re always very informative and kind. Got my septum pierced yesterday and everyone was great! I dont know her name, but the woman working at the counter was extremely helpful in helping me find jewelry that fit my budget, and Anna was really great in letting me know what to expect/how to care for the piercing (and helped me literally breathe through getting it done - I always psych myself up in my head). Ive only ever been here for a tattoo waaaay back (which was also a great experience) but Ill definitely be coming back for future piercings!

Top to bottom, I loved every minute I spent at Cowpok. You are greeted by enthusiastic folks right as you walk in. They hype you up for what piercing youre getting and have a gorgeous, well-lit display case with tons of options. You can opt for a more affordable piercing or ball out on some really high quality jewelry.I was pierced by Anna! Their professionalism and well-timed humor made the (what I expected to be very scary) experience both memorable and pleasant. 10/5 stars, would take the piercing out and let them redo it.

I went in to have my septum pierced after having it done incorrectly (at another shop) about 2 years ago. My current piercing was still in and had completely healed so I was hopeful that it could just be pierced in the correct spot and I would take the old one out or possibly wear them both. After consulting with Anna we concluded that the best decision would be to take the current one out and let it heal for a month or so, then come back to get it re-pierced correctly. Anna was SO kind and accommodating. I decided to get my eyebrow done that day instead and I am very happy with the results. The entire experience was perfect from beginning to end and I was ecstatic with the selection of jewelry as well. I will absolutely be returning!

I had went here with a couple of my friends. The people there were awesome. No way am I bashing the piercer at all he was awesome. But what we were not informed of was that we had to pay for the barbell and balls separately. Not only that but I had lost my ball and I was expected to pay again for a small ball. The piercer told me the ball was on tight. But it still came off. Now I have to change my piercing because no other places uses the same as them. If I lost a ball I shouldn’t have to pay for a replacement

Cowpok is truly the one and only place to be pierced in buffalo. I’ve been pierced here several times and can say that the staff is always so kind and attentive! they answer all of the questions you have so thoughtfully and thoroughly. also, their jewelry selection is SPOT ON and so beautifully curated.

I’ve gotten multiple tattoos from Mike. Been coming here for over 3 + years now. Everybody at the front is always helpful and very pleasant. Mike is top tier when it comes to tattoo artists in the area. I highly recommend going to him for your next tattoo!

Ive never gotten pierced before, Ive always been worried about the pain. Anna, my piercer, did a wonderful job. I picked out my jewelry, and as she was preparing she went through each step of the process with me. I felt very comfortable, and the actual piercing barely hurt at all. She went over the aftercare with me, and I got a paper with the instructions as well. I was in and out within 10 minutes.They have a large selection of jewelry, with different designs and colors.Will definitely return for more piercings in the future!

Ive gotten multiple piercings from Cowpok and whichever piercer I had was amazing. Staff was friendly and easy to talk to. Its a comfortable and relaxed environment. I took a couple of friends from NYC here to get piercings as well and they were amazed at how professional and amazing the place was. They tell me all the time that they want to come back again when they visit.Especially with covid I love how they are handling things. Everything is by appointment to ensure there is no overcrowding and the equipment is sterile and tables/chairs wiped clean. They send you texts when theyre ready for you to come in so you can wait in your car. Just everything is great. Will definitely come again soon and highly recommend.

This is always my go-to place for piercings. Not only did the girl at the desk make sure that I got exactly what I wanted for my nipples, she even showed me rings for my septum for when I can change it in a couple weeks! She gave her honest input and didnt mind telling me the price on several pieces. Anna the piercer was beyond helpful with easing my nerves before the piercing! She helped me breathe and she assured me several times the jewelry was sterile and made sure I loved the placement. Would recommend this place over any piercing shop in buffalo.

To be honest, at first, everything seemed really nice. The workers seemed professional. The piercings looked nice. However, they only really promote rinsing ear in warm water to clean it (on website and in person). They act like saline is optional and brush it off. That is not true. You need solution to really prevent infections from happening.2/4 of my piercings ended up becoming very infected even after consistent “warm water” and sleeping on my back. And since they didn’t give me a long enough bar and my jewelry is a very tiny ball, one of the two infected earrings became partially imbedded. A doctor was able to remove the imbedded one and give me antibiotics. The other infected one he couldn’t remove so i went to another piercer (since i’m out of town) and they not only removed it pain free for me, but they taught me that warm water only is DEFINITELY not enough (you need some solution).Additionally, before this, another one became imbedded from me sleeping on it which is my responsibility, HOWEVER, i do recommend that if you go here you get a big piece of jewelry as your first pair so they don’t imbed when your ear swells or if you accidentally sleep on it.At the end, I only have 1 left out of the 4 I got. Spent 200 dollars just to have 1 left at the end.In all, I expected a lot more expertise and better recommendations from professionals. They should not only say you need warm water.Maybe with the tweak of a few things like a more efficient earring size and actual saline solution, I would have had a better experience, but they did not provide or recommend that when I went. Bummer.

Heard greatly about this place! Had great reviews and had many people tell me about them! I made an appointment for my daughter (13) on the website for the Williamsville location. I made sure I read through the website to be positive that they would do a minor. After reading through reviews and the website I booked an appointment and went through with all the ID guidelines. I also booked with the manger to make sure my daughter was getting the best. A few days after i booked the appointment they had sent a text stating my appointment had been APPROVED and was all set! My daughter looked forward to it the whole week and made sure to tell everyone her exciting news. Today was our appointment and drove 45 minutes for only us to get there and tell us that my daughter had to be 15 years of age in order to get a nostril piercing. They told us they have TRYED to give us a call a few days prior regarding our appointment for a 9 year old. I never received I call or email stating anything of the such. Not only was there failed communication but the two employees at the counter were very rude about the miscommunication and tried to sell us something else. It would have been nice if they had made it 100% more clear on there website regarding age and had better communication with there customers.

My daughter and I got some piercings done yesterday. The piercer who I do not remember her name was amazing. Especially with my 7 year old getting getting her ears pierced for the first time. This was my first time at cowpok and it was very clean. I would definitely recommend cowpok for any tattoo and piercing needs!

This is by far the best piercing shop i’ve ever been to. up until now i’ve always gone to different piercers, but im definitely always returning to anna at the elmwood location. she made me feel comfortable, walked me through everything, and overall made the experience way less stressful. if you get nervous about piercings like i do, please book with anna. plus the shop overall was very nice with high quality jewelry.

Went for jewelry. Theyre always helpful, and service is quick and informative. I wish I could order jewelry and pick it up rather than making an appointment (because usually I know EXACTLY what I want). I also wish they had more of the stone plugs in! They used to always have a variety but I feel like its been less so lately.

I have adored every moment of every experience I have ever had at Cowpok. I had several ear piercings done in April and Chloe and Anna were fantastic to work with. Chloe is great at helping you style your piercing and explains why she does or doesnt recommend a piercing, piece of jewelry, etc. Anna explained everything before and as she was doing the piercings. I just went back to plan another set of piercings and my experience was, once again, completely awesome. Go, let them put holes in your body, youre going to love it.

Absolutely amazing!!! Went to get my septum done a week ago and my piercer was so good with explaining what I must do to take care of it. Was fast and not painful. My wait was amazing! Had my 4yr old sister with me and they let you draw with chalk outside and even have her a juicebox. Love them so much. Very clean environment

I went to the Williamsville location for the first time yesterday for an ear piercing and absolutely loved it! It’s a vertex but comfortable and fun atmosphere. Mike was funny and made the experience enjoyable! Definitely plan to come back for my next one!

I had my nostril pierced years ago, when I was in college in Texas, and it felt like I had been punched in the face, it hurt so badly. And it still hurt after a month, so I took it out and gave up.Until almost 20 years later, I still wanted a nostril piercing, and was referred to CowPok. I was nervous because of my past experience elsewhere, and a little intimidated because I’m a lady in my 40s. Most of their clients seem to be younger people.But I worried for no reason. They were warm and welcoming, and helped me through the entire process. And the actual piercing…it was so expertly done, I honestly barely felt it. Mike was very kind and very encouraging. He was quick with my piercing and very clean. Mike likes to make jokes throughout the session, which made my anxiety so much better, and I felt welcome and safe.. He made extra sure I had the correct anatomy for the piercing and he also checked how my skin would react first.

I have been a client of Cowpoks for many years now and have always enjoyed every moment Ive spent in the shop whether it was for a new piercing, a jewelry change, or a tattoo. After many years of playing it safe with piercings, I recently started branching out into the types that have otherwise intimidated me. After two very well informed conversations with Chloe, I received a surface piercing which was done by Anna, and I honestly dont know how it could have possibly been a better first experience. Very impressed! My SO and I went there on a Sunday as walk-ins for tattoos. (They do walk ins Sundays from 2-7). We highly suggest if youre choosing this option you get there early though.The shop was immaculate and beautiful. Mike did an excellent job on our tattoos, giving great attention to detail. I called cowpok during the pandemic last year and everytime I called to inquire if they were doing piercings Chloe will let me know they havent but I waited patiently until they did because she was so kind and sweet. This is the only Studio I will go to for a piercing. Not only are the prices great the staff is friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and you can tell they really enjoy what they do. The staff is very knowledgeable; yet some make it more comfortable than others. Mike was very rough changing my jewelry, where Anna was slower and notably gentle. Seemed more comfortable. Gabe was not helpful at all over the phone and when asked to speak to someone else, he said just come in. Felt dismissive. Very expensive here but huge jewelry selection.

Cowpok is by far the best place for piercings in Buffalo and surrounding areas. The vibe is great, its clean, and the employees/piercers arent super pretentious or stuck up which I really appreciate. Theyre super friendly and do their absolute best to make you feel comfortable and informed. Some piercing/tattoo shops have people working there who act like theyre way cooler than everyone who comes in and they can be really unwelcoming or rude. It makes me so much more nervous when I know Im going into an environment like that to get pierced but Cowpok is the complete opposite. I highly recommend Anna B. as she is so down to earth, professional, and has a calming effect on you. All 3 piercings Ive had done by her(chest surface anchor, nape surface bar, vertical labret) were awesome experiences and I have nothing but positive things to say. They have fantastic high quality jewelry, some of which is extremely expensive but they also have choices for every other budget range which is nice. I wouldnt give anywhere else for body mods in WNY!!

Super professional all the time! I always tell Anna, I have been to them too many times to get my nose pierced (due to just mishaps of my own -pretty clumsy and either I or my kid knocks them out). Lol, but she is always friendly and radiates positive vibes! I will always rank them high! Next piecing hoping later this year (just not another nose ring)! The piercers are wonderful, explaining everything they are doing and going to do. Both my older daughter and I returned for second piercings and also took my younger daughter there to get her ears pierced for the first time. Highly recommend them.

This is the best place to get a piercing in buffalo. I got my nostril pierced and before tip it was less than 80 dollars. The price of your piercing depends on the jewelry you choose, they have affordable options. Trevor pierced my nose and he was super cool and made sure that I was comfortable during the whole thing. I definitely recommend coming here!!

My 10 y/o niece had her ears previously pierced at a mall location and had a terrible reaction and had to let the piercings close and heal up. I brought her to Cowpok on Elmwood to get them re-pierced and it was such a great experience! Chloe at the front desk and Anna the piercer were so helpful, professional and calmed my nieces nerves. Not only do her piercings look amazing she has had no issues with the healing process or any reaction/infection! (And as much as this a review of Cowpok it’s also a PSA to take kids to a professional to get their ears pierced 🙂)

The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The place is always very clean. They will change your jewelry for free (dont forget to tip them for this awesome service!) and its usually super fast. I suck at changing my own septum piercing and they handle me like professionals.

Everyone is so nice here. Ive gotten a piercing as well as a tattoo, and I am very happy with both. The piercing was fun, professional, and the piercer was amazingly sweet and adorable. Mark, who did our tattoos was sweet and very funny, even with the boring little ones we went in for. I feel confident in their sanitation, their ethics and I would 100% go back.Fair warning- be prepared to drop some cash on a piercing. They carry good quality jewelry, which costs a bit more than you might expect. That def caught me off guard the first time I went in.

Anna was super nice and did a really good job on my tongue piercing, it was my first time getting a piercing and she was super good about explaining it all in lots of detail also the lady who cashed me out was nothing but extremely nice! Staff was very nice and the store is fun and clean, but they put one of my piercings to close to the bottom of my lobe. It has been a while and life has been hectic, so I ignored it but when I finaly switched out what I had been wearing since i got it done for some heavier jewelry, i could really notice how bad the placement was. I called to tell them but they wouldnt offer any help.

They are clean, great at asking questions, they tell you clear and easy steps to clean your piercing/tattoo... Overall great environment. You NEVER have to worry about infection unless you are just NOT doing your aftercare correctly. Every piercing Ive ever had done was at CowPok... I wouldnt go/recommend anywhere else.

We came in as walk-ins and were able to get our tattoos done within 20 minutes of arriving. We had Mikael and he was super friendly and did a fantastic job on both me and my friend. The tattoos were reasonably priced and we will definitely be coming back!

On 7/12/2018 , My wife and I along with our four year old, had the privilege to get a tattoo by one of there talented artists (Mike) . Upon waiting for said tattoo we discovered their extreme curtesy and customer service to not only us but others as well. The piercer that was working took interest in making sure our son wasn’t bored while we waited by chalk coloring with him and pulling out some classic pogs. Over all fantastic experience. Our tattoos came out perfect,crisp, and clean. The store itself was highly clean and professional. The staff was highly knowledgeable about piercings and tattoos. 10 out of 10 in my book.

Got my nose pierced and would HIGHLY recommend. The piercer was super nice and pacient and answered all my questions. Very clean place, not too expensive. Everything used in the piercing process came straight from packaging making sure it was clean and sterile. Not too painful and very quick. No infection or any problems after the fact.

Came from all the way across town after hearing everyone say good things about the shop . When we arrived the women at the desk tells us to take a seat and that the artist would be available in a half hour . We sat down for 20 minuets as other customers came in and filled out forms that we never received . Finally the receptionist ask for identification and give us a form, when we let her know the person getting the tattoo was 17 and accompanied by her mother she told us New York State law prohibits minors from getting tattoos wich , is fine the problem was she could have told us that 20 minuets ago . In my opinion the whole atmosphere was awkward and tense . In conclusion signs should be posted and or we should have been advised when we walked in all the rules and regulations.

Anna was a professional and made the piercing experience a speedy, mostly pain-free, and pleasant one. After 17 piercings, Id highly recommend her.

I went to get my nose pierced. I went here 3 times and each time they didn’t let me get it pierced. The first time was because I didn’t have identification. Second time the lines were too long so we ended up leaving. Today I went again with my parents and sister to get it pierced. We had identification and everything. But they wouldn’t let me get it pierced because we had different last names. They said that they needed proof that we were related. They said I needed my birth certificate. But I was unaware that I needed that. I didn’t see anyone before me have they’re birth certificate on them. That was so unnecessary because they have seen me 3 times with my mom. How could one just say we’re not related because we don’t have the same last names. The lady was very rude to my mom as she was trying to explain why we don’t have the same last name. My dad was there to prove that I was there child but they didn’t care and only wanted proof that my mom is my mom just because she had a different last name. She told us to leave and that were not welcome here. Horrible staff members. Everyone in the waiting room defended us saying that it’s not that serious and that it’s just a piercing. Others said that u don’t need a birth certificate and can just have proof of identification.

I got my industrial changed out by Trevor and he was super nice and let me know why I had the irritation bumps and what was wrong with the jewelry I currently had in. I am so relieved to finally have better quality jewelry! The girl at the counter who helped me pick out the jewelry (I never got her name) was also super nice. I got a double helix piercing in August, I waited to see how my ear would heal before writing a review. It has been healing beautifully. I have multiple piercings and by far CowPok the cleanest, most knowledgeable shop that Ive been to. If you have a question they are willing to help you out so dont be afraid to call and ask! I will definitely be coming back in the future!

Staff is very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Jewelry itself is overpriced, but if youre nervous about infection, bad piercings, or any other horror story, they will make you comfortable while they professionally perform their services. My only complaint is the prices. But at least you know its offset by getting the right thing done right.

Me and my girlfriend went to cowpok on Valentines Day. I got a second nostril piercing (on my left nostril I already had my right side done) and my girlfriend got a stud next to the hoop she had on her nostril. Ive gotten piercings here, and I just had a tattoo done. I went in for a walk-in, spontaneous memorial tattoo for my father on Saturday night and I couldnt be more pleased with the work I had done. Everything is a little more expensive here, but if you want piercings or tattoos done right, get them done here... hands down one of the best shops in Western NY. Clean and professional.

First thing I look for is if a place is sanitary. This place never fails!! I have gotten all my piercings from here since I was 16. Will NEVER go anywhere else. They are always friendly and honest. Prices are alittle high but the quality of jewelry is worth it. Wish the waiting space was a tad bit bigger because sometimes they do get alittle crowded.

Very rude staff, lady told me to get out because i didn’t have an id at 16…they also told my friend she wasn’t “shaped” right for a belly piercing. ridiculous

I got my nose pierced yesterday at the Elmwood branch. The lady at the counter was very sweet and the practitioner who did the piercing - Sarah, was a real professional. She did it before I even realized it was getting pierced!Prior to my piercing, I went through couple of youtube videos just to get a hang of how it would feel like. But, I was so much relaxed after I got my piercing. But, yes you will feel the prick, but everything happens even before you know it. Id recommend this place strongly.

My 8 year old daughter got her ears pierced at Cowpok. The staff were extremely friendly, knew how to talk to a child and made her feel comfortable. The piercing itself was fast & she had someone do each ear at the same time. They prepped her by joking around, keeping her calm and told her to blow out the candles on her toes. She didnt even whimper from the piercing and said It barely hurt. I was more nervous than she was, ha! I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional, clean, and safe place to have your daughter (age 6 and up) ears pierced. The only thing that you should keep in mind is that some of the art work was alarming for my daughter (a cow sucking on its own nipple) and a giant bowl of condoms. It is primarily an adult piercing/tattoo parlor so I understand why they have it, just a heads up for parents who may not be expecting it.

Ive been here at least three times two times for my tongue and once for my septum and every time was a delight the people are extremely nice helpful informative with absolutely any questions theres no wrong or right questions no funny questions and they just really make you feel extremely comfortable for real Ive also never had any problems with the healing process

Got my nipples pierced here twice... 1st time was perfect, fast and easy. 2nd time just recently got them done in August 2016 for my 20th BIRTHDAY, she pierced my right nipple so deep it was basically in my areola so i had her pierce it AGAIN because it was way too deep and looked so uneven.. Oh and my left one is totally crooked, you can tell. Im so disappointed and she honestly scarred me for getting piercings for the rest of my life. 😢

Theyre so clean and friendly, I wouldnt go anywhere else in Buffalo for a tattoo or piercing.Getting my first tattoo scared me and I was nervous about the pain, but my tattoo artist, Mike, talked me through the whole time. He started off with a small line to let me get a feel of the pain level. They even gave me a free juice box after because I was feeling a bit dizzy! I have a treble clef behind my left ear and will be getting a bass clef behind my right ear and I couldnt be happier with how my first one turned out. I have been getting pierced and tattoos since 2016 with Cowpok. But with the encounter I had with Cowpok not too long ago I will not be going back! I had a very beautiful rose gold medical caduceus earring in my cartilage that was well over $200. I noticed one day that the rose gold medical caduceus was no longer there and only the sliver post was. It completely broke off the post. I looked everywhere for the piece but I could not find it. Also my mom has her nose pierced by Cowpok and purchased a Swarovski crystal stud. The stud had detached from the post. She had looked everywhere, and could not find it. We both made appointments to go to Cowpok to see what could’ve been done. When you book your appointment it states to wait in your car until you receive a text from them saying they are ready for you and if you are late will you charged a late fee. My mom and I both arrive ten minutes early for our appointment, so we wait in our car to receive a text. It is now 5 mins after our appointment time and we still haven’t received a text. So we decided to go in. The piercer and the girl behind the counter were rude. They said “Do you have an appointment?” We said “Yes” They said “Two people can’t be in here at the same time!” We said “We both have appointments!” They said “It doesn’t matter only one person at a time.” I said “Ok well there are no tattoo artists or anyone receiving tattoos, and we are not here to get pierced we are here about jewelry!” Well once I made that statement they both were willing to help us. Anything to make $$$. I had explained my situation to both of them and the piercer stated to me “The only thing I can do for you is for you to bring the piece to me and I can glue it back on.” I said “I can’t find the piece that’s what I’m telling you! Can you replace piece? Or send the post to manufacturer so they can replace it?” The piercer said “Nope! No! We can’t do that! So I would just keep looking and then when you find it bring it into us and then we can fix for you.” I said “So even tho it was over $200 I can just eat the $200!” The piercer said “Yeah basically sorry there’s nothing much we can do.” My mom explains her situation. She just wanted a replacement crystal stud and she was willing to pay just for the stud. The answer she received was “We can’t replace just the stud and we can’t just let you buy just the stud, also we can’t change any jewelry under the mask and we would have to put your jewelry in.” 🧐🤨 I’m sorry but why should she have to buy a stud and a post when the post she has is still good! Also we weren’t asking for you to put the jewelry in! We understand that you can’t pierce or change jewelry underneath the mask! We got that! We can read! That is poor! More importantly poor customer service!! You pay all this money for what you think is “good quality” jewelry and when something goes wrong with it, Oh well it’s your problem now! If your out $200,$300,$400 well that’s down the drain you can kiss that goodbye!! The end result is that cartilage piercing is now closed because of not having an earring in it and my moms nose piercing is also closed from not having an earring in it but also is all scar tissue now!

Only place Ill go to for my piercings. Extremely sanitary, nice, and helpful! They are pricey but its totally worth it due to the fact that they are very professional and you know youre being taken care of and pierced properly. :)

I went in about 2 weeks ago and was planning on getting my smiley done, the piercer I had, Sarah basically told me my teeth were going to rot out immediately so then i said i wanted my bottom belly button and she said I couldnt get it done, ok....so I decided the daith piercing which I told her but she decided to Pierce my tragus. Very dismissive of what I wanted, felt like she just wanted to get me out of there. Its unfortunate bc going into the shop it seemed neat and friendly but leaving I was very unhappy..

So I got a lip piercing done about 3 weeks ago. I was told to come back in 3 weeks to get it sized down when the swelling goes down. Swelling is down and the captive bead on the hoop is annoying as hell. So I go in, tell them my name and when I got it done. They tell me it will be another $40 plus tax to change it. WTF? Then Im told they cant size it down because part of it is still touching my lip. So the fact that 90% of it is sticking out, wobbling back and forth, and the bead is annoying doesnt seem to matter I guess? Looks like I will be taking it out. Will never go back. For anything. Ever. Dont go. They arent friendly like the other reviews say, and $80 is a rip off.

Had two differently sized gauges put in my ear. havent taken them out in years. they did a great job. the neg reviews here are suspect. the guy pierced on the wrong spot? really? and where were you when this happened? i have been a frequent customer and they didnt do well? are you a masochist? whatev. this shop is great. see for yourself.

I had originally made a appointment a few days before my 15th birthday and I told them what I wanted and they said I have to wait till I’m 15. Then they were telling me on the phone to make sure I bring my birth certificate and a parent with there ID. So I went today went into the place all happy to get my helix done for my 15th and they said I also need a photo ID which I just turned 15 and I can’t get one from my school because of COVID!! All together the person on the phone should’ve mentioned that once I turned 15 to also make sure I bring a photo ID so I can give it to them. Then this whole problem wouldn’t be a problem.

I am NEVER disappointed when I come here. Very friendly staff. They are quick, clean, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. I refuse to go anywhere else to get pierced!

Had my 3rd tattoo done here (1st with Cowpok) ended up with more of a colored scar than a tattoo. My current artist informed me it was due to “the artist” not knowing how to set depth of the needles on the machine. All my tattoos prior and after healed fine except the one preformed here. I would not recommend anyone get a tattoo here.

At first I didnt like the wait but once I watched and understood why, it all made perfect sense. You cant rush it and I love the process!!!! And Keith was amazing, he talked me thur it the whole thing, now it feels like I bit my lip to hard....lol love this place, my entire family comes here for their stuff....

DO NOT go here for an industrial piercing!!! They measured the earring (bar) to my ear, leaving no room for the piercing to heal… causing my skin to heal over the bar! This has gotten me a keloid on the top of my ear the size of a pea!

So update this place discriminated because I did not have a Vax card or a 24 hour negative covid test when they did not even have to place my jewelry or anything all I wanted to do was buy the jewelry and be about the rest of my day instead the girl in the front would not sell ke anything because 9f those 2 reasons so now they have the worst costumer service ever. Asked my boyfriend to pick me up a pair of plugs from Cowpok in a higher gauge (Im stretching my ears). He asked for glass plugs, and she scolded him about how plastic is bad because she misheard him. Ok? He asked for glass, not plastic. Then she gives him plugs that are too long, and refuses to refund him after 2 minutes when he texts me a picture and I tell him theyre too long. Never asked what piercing they were for either. He told me they seemed dismissive of him, presumably because he doesnt have any piercings (I have a few face + ears) and was only going off of what I told him to get. Im extremely disappointed in how my bf was treated when he was running an errand on my behalf.

I got my nosed peirced here about a month ago (its my first peircing) and i had a great experience carlos peirced my nose. he was very professional and sanitary and was capable of peircing in the exact spot that i wanted it. By the way its healing well also they were very patient with me without further due id definatly reccomend this shop to anyone
