Carmel Tattoo INK

My mom and I came here back in February to get matching tattoos for my 21st birthday. I had put so much time into deciding what to get, designing, and researching, especially since this was my first tattoo. However, I am very dissatisfied with my tattoo and Carmel Tattoo did absolutely nothing about it. A customer should feel confident about putting a permanent thing on their body-- that is why I went to a shop like Carmel Tattoo Ink expecting good artistry, and good customer service. However, I got neither, I was dismissed, and ended up with a tattoo I dont like.To start off, I was scheduled with an artist, but when I got to my appointment, I had a different artist named Kelly who was covering her shift. Though my mom and I were getting the same design, I wanted mine slightly larger so that it would blur less over time and be clearer. I went first, and my mom went second. Even 2-3 days after I got my tattoo, I could tell it was not done well. It was blown out, the sanskrit characters were not tattooed correctly, and the details were blurry. My moms tattoo was a lot better, so it shocked me that an artist with so much experience would produce such different qualities of work with the same design. I was also charged more for my tattoo ($150) than my moms. I contacted Carmel Tattoo, concerned about how it was looking, and they said I doubt its blown out and questioned if I was following aftercare correctly, even though I was following EXACTLY what they had told me to do. They also said that peoples skin is different, and ink can spread on some skin. I then went to another tattoo shop in Bloomington and got a second opinion, and I was told that it is not due to my skin, but because Kelly used a needle that was too big for the tattoo, and it was blown out. I am extremely upset about the end result of my tattoo. Since it is in sanskrit, the characters have small details which are important, and with the way it healed, the tattoo is already illegible, and its only going to get worse from here since it looks like this only 3 months in. I am now figuring out how I can get this lightened through laser and redone, which is going to cost a fortuneI emailed the owner in February, and she again said its not blown out, despite me having a gray haze all around the tattoo now, and blurry letters. She said she would talk to Kelly about it, but never got back to me about that either. Just wanted to share my experience, hope this helps.The first photo is my tattoo 3 months healed, the second photo is my tattoo 1 week healed, the last photo is my moms tattoo 3 months healed.

I came in for an appointment with Zach and it was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had! He was professional and patient with me while I explained exactly what I wanted and really helped to ease my anxiety. He was accommodating and gave me extra pillows to make sure I was comfortable throughout the whole thing and even kindly added a few small details after the design was done per my request. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I will DEFINITELY be coming back to him for my future tattoos!! 🙌🌟🌟🌟

This place is very clean, professional, and easily accessible.Kelly designed the tattoo I added to this review. He exceeded my wildest imagination and expectations. He was extremely nice, professional, and it was very apparent he put a lot of effort and time into the design and the session itself. His passion for this kind of work really shows and I’ll definitely be hitting him up again soon for my next piece.

Brooke did my Rook piercing and I love it! She explained everything she was doing and how to do the after care! Their place was very clean and cute inside!

We picked this shop for my daughters piercing based on the great reviews and we werent disappointed. Brooke did a great job at explaining everything before the piercing (what to expect) and after in regards to aftercare. She also offered advice about placement, things to consider and think about. The price seemed very reasonable for the location, cleanliness, and professionalism of the shop and staff!

I just had my first tattoo experience ever and it was amazing!! Meghan was so sweet and personable, and did great work! I also got my double piercings done while I was there by her as well. It’s a great place with amazing work and amazing artists who know their stuff! I 100% recommend Meghan if you go!!

I had my tattoo with Adam, and his customer service skills and talent are superb. He was easy to talk to, worked hard to understand how I wanted the tattoo, and was patient with me with placement. The final tattoo was stunning. Highly recommend him and this business.

Pretty disappointed overall. Emailed ahead of time to let them know I was interested in a piercing and 3 jewelry changes. They told me to book appt online for a specific service. So I did. When I showed up, the piercer was irritated and got attitude that I needed more than 1 jewelry change and she wasn’t sure she would have time to do it all. Just a bad vibe from the beginning. I ended up just doing a jewelry change and didn’t even ask about the piercing. Went the next day to another place and got it done.Definitely won’t go back there. Wasn’t a fan. I’ll drive another 10 minutes to get better service.

Very professional tattoo shop. I’ve spent countless hours here lately, on many different pieces, and have had a great experience each time. Zach is very talented, knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. I’ve been pretty meticulous about a few pieces and he truly never batted an eye until I was happy.

The shop is beautiful and the staff are super friendly. Brooke did AMAZING with my piercings and I love them so much, BUT just beware the jewelry isn’t good quality. It’s only been a month, and the jewel has fallen out of my jewelry. Unfortunately I am not in the area anymore, so I will have to pay more money to get it replaced. They did offer to replace it for free, but I would only have the same problem again, let alone the fact be that I am back in my home state.To add on, I got my doubles done as well not long after, and the jewelry is holding up so much better, since it has little metal pieces that curve around the jewel, holding it in place so much better.That is all, thank youu

Highly recommend Carmel Tattoo for ear piercing! Meghan did an amazing job re-piercing my daughter’s ears after they had closed up many years ago. I wish we had come here in the first place! Everything was super clean and Meghan explained everything so well. In fact my mom went back to get her ears re-pierced with Meghan a few days later! Thanks Meghan and Carmel Tattoo!

Got my nose pierced here a few years ago & everything was great. Recently I walked in with 2 friends hoping to do easy walk in piercings or at least schedule some, not a single soul in there greeted us or helped us. After 15 awkward minutes of waiting & employees looking up at us in the middle of their tattoos, still absolutely nothing. It got too awkward so we went to Indiana Tattoo Company on Rangeline instead. They were SO friendly & accommodating & actually speak to their guests lol

Brooke did an excellent job piercing my 9 year olds ear lobes. She took her time with placement, getting parental input as well as final approval by the kid. She explained the piercing process thoughtfully and clearly without overwhelming us or leaving us with unanswered questions. No infections 4 months in and they look perfect!

I got a nose piercing done with Meghan, and she was genuinely such a kind soul. she made sure i felt comfortable and safe and even helped me while i threw up and almost passed out. best piercer ever and i will definitely be booking with her if i get another piercing!!

We took our 5 year old to get her ears pierced the day before kindergarten, and she was so excited. We were FIVE minutes late because of traffic, and they wouldn’t fit her in. The way we were treated from the moment we walked in was UNBELIEVABLE! I would never recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I each got two tattoos here and were absolutely blown away by not only the turn out of the tattoos but also the professional, cleanliness and customer service of everyone. Booked an appointment with Kelly for a tattoo, submitted all documents and Designs when the appointment was booked drove 3 hours to get there when Kelly came out for the appointment late he informed us that he was switching us from a tattoo appointment to a consultation because he didnt have the time to do it. Claimed it would take him 2 and 1/2 hours to draw up a two-word nine-letter tattoo, designs were already submitted for the tattoo why would it not be ready when you have a scheduled appointment for a tattoo?Kelly was very rude I do not recommend Carmel tattoo ink very unprofessional shop and very disorganized receptionist was extremely rude when we arrived also save yourself the hassle and find a better tattoo shop. Luckily we were able to go to Crawfordsville and get an amazing tattoo at Dark Blossom Tattoo and Craft dont waste your time with carmel tattoo inkUpdate:Owners have reached out after this incident and have done everything within there powers to rectify the incident, will update again after resolution.

I loved my experience. The staff were so kind and easy to work with. The artist printed out many different sizes of tattoos to make sure I get the perfect size. It was my first time, and I got a rib tattoo. It was painful, but so worth it as it turned out so amazing. Great prices too, I highly recommend

Carmel Tattoo Ink is a very nice place in the Arts District. It was very clean and they are very professional. My daughter had her ears pierced when she was little at another place and she would get infected and someone suggested we try a tattoo shop since they use needles and they cause less damage to the lobes than ear guns. The lady today did my daughters lobes and she was very nice and professional. She was playing Encanto when we arrived and she chatted with my daughter. She barely noticed she got her ears pierced. She was very caring and friendly and made my daughter feel at ease. Only complaint I have is that it is hard reaching them on the phone at times but this is only because on busy days they are booked pretty solid and busy. I’m thinking that they don’t answer the phone because they are with customers in the shop.

Meghan did my second ear piercing. She is so professional and so sweet. She makes you feel so comfortable but also is very mindful and demure, we love you Meghan!!

Zach was great! My first tattoo and we did a Lord of The Rings themed half sleeve. A portion is Narsil and the map of Middle Earth and the other is the Witch King of Angmar from the book and lord of the rings online description. I highly recommend working with Zach he did a phenomenal job.

My friend and I went in to get two tattoos on a whim one day. The artist and owner got together and discussed options with us. These were tiny tattoos about 4 in in length and maybe 2 or 3 in tall. They were also in color.We were quoted $250 per tattoo. When I said that I could drive 20 minutes south to the city and get them done for half the price the owner said, Id like to see what those tattoos look like for anything less than $250 And then he just walked by us without saying anything else.We drove to Midwest tattoo about 20 minutes south of this shop and got two incredible looking tattoos for a total of $260 and that is including a tip.I would not go to the shop they are overcharging just because they are on the main strip in Carmel. I am sure they do great work, but they wont be doing any of mine. I posted a picture of how my tattoo came out. To the owner: I guess you can get a really nice tattoo for less than $250! 2 of them in fact!

Meghan is amazing!!! She is extremely sweet and cares for my needs! I have received multiple services from her and she gets it perfect each time!

I received an industrial at this facility and it ruined my ear. And yes, i do know and i did follow proper after care. My piercer (i don’t remember her name) leveled it completely wrong, gave me a bar that was way too short and not even the correct gauge. I received a 16 gauge bar that left no room for swelling and the piercing itself requires a 14 gauge long bar. I am beyond disappointed especially considering the price. She also nicked me with the needle and neglected to tell me. I will be re-piercing in the correct position. As you can see in the photo below my entrance and exit piercing do not line up and all of the stress from the bar i previously had in (provided by this shop) was developing piercing bumps.

Mara gave me my first and only tattoo I will ever have and “incredible” does not even come close to describing the gift that Mara gave me. Believe me when I say what Mara gave me means more to me than anything I have ever received in my life. I’ll explain shortly.To be completely transparent, I knew Mara outside of her work. I already knew how talented of an artist she was, so when I finally conceived of the subject matter of the tattoo, I was so excited.Although it is strictly against my religious beliefs to let’s say “desecrate” my body with anything, I was considering getting a tattoo for years, but I wanted something that would be religiously meaningful to me (not something like a turkey leg).One day I was talking with Mara about possibly getting a tattoo and she just happened to show me her phone and staring me in the face was a picture of a tattoo that she had recently finished that was a single word in biblical Hebrew written on someone’s forearm. It looked fantastic! I could immediately make out the word “Hallelujah.” But it wasn’t just the word itself, it was the perfect and precise tattooing performed by Mara that had me speechless. It was at that moment it came to me. The perfect tattoo subject matter. One that I could look at every day and would bring me to tears of joy!According to shema-explained from brandeis.edu, “the Shema, is the central affirmation of Judaism. The prayer expresses belief in the singularity of God, that is, in Gods oneness and incomparability.” The Shema is an affirmation of Judaism and a declaration of faith in one God. It is biblical and comes from Deuteronomy 6:4–9, 11:13–21; Numbers 15:37–41.I found some images of the Shema online and showed the lines to Mara. I asked her if she could do a tattoo of this message on my forearm similar to the Hallelujah image she had shown me and she confidently said, “of course.” I was ecstatic! I immediately asked when we could do it and I signed up for her first available appointment the next week.On the day of getting the tattoo, I was not nervous, instead, quite excited. Not only was I excited about what I was about to receive, but I had never been inside a tattoo shop before and was interested in the entire process.My first impression of Carmel Tattoo INK was great. Very open and spacious. Clean. Well lit. Examples of tattoos everywhere. Mara had everything prepared for my appointment. Her work area was clean and organized. She had examples of her previous work on her walls. Since I had sent her an image of what I wanted she had already printed out several stencils of different sized lettering that we put on my forearm and agreed which size appeared best. We triple checked to make sure all the lettering was correct. She then shaved and cleaned the area of my forearm. Applied lotion and the stencil very carefully. She positioned it perfectly on my forearm.It was time to apply the ink. I wasn’t even nervous, which seemed strange to me. I was still so excited to get this done. I was very confident in Mara’s abilities and was very much at ease. I always wondered how painful it was to get a tattoo. I had heard the forearm is an easier place and doesn’t hurt much. I was surprised when Mara began, she just barely touched me with the needle and asked me how that felt. I said, “It’s fine. Doesn’t hurt at all.” I will say when filling in the lettering, it felt like a cat scratching my skin, but it was not painful. Now the entire process took a little over an hour and I was comfortable throughout.

I got a tattoo to match my partners (my tattoo on the left) and she (Meghan) made the template easily and accepted all of our suggestions and requests with no problem. Absolutely lovely place which was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Could not recommended more

It’s been over a year now, I’ve never done any reviews before for anything but I regret this tattoo since I walked out. definitely not what I asked for, I showed pictures and the guy seemed to be confident about it but it turned out so bad. it is what it is now. ☹️☹️ my ring finger was supposed to be a really small heart, that doesn’t even look like a heart at all 😣

We got our 10 year olds ears pierced by Taylor. She came highly recommended and lived up to all the recommendations. She was patient, understanding, and professional. She did a wonderful job making our daughter feel confident and comfortable. She did both ears with no pain or trouble. DO NOT go anywhere else to get ears pierced. Taylor is the best and I cannot recommend her enough.The shop was everything a parent would look for, clean, bright, and friendly.

Set up an appointment with one of the employees to get my septum pierced by her trainee. canceled on me last second and ghosted me. could’ve at least gave me information. i’ve came here previously and their prices are also just ridiculous for this terrible costumer service

There is a reason this tattoo shop is ranked so high. Very professional, patient, and welcoming. I came to this location because my daughter got her ears pierced at another commercial place and they pierced them too low. Her one ear was about to rip. They were able to do the piercing over again and were helpful on how to treat the old piercings to help them heal. My daughter said it wasnt painful and they were great at explaining everything to her. Very impressed and highly recommend.

Absolutely loved my experience here! I was nervous to get my ears repierced since I let them close up many years ago due to lots of infections. So, when I finally got the guts to pull the trigger, my friend recommended this place because he took his youngest daughter here to get her ears done.Shelle was the best! She listened to my concerns about infections and took her time explaining the different types of metals that the earrings are made of. She helped me pick out these brilliant Opal earrings and made the process as painless as possible. She asked me if I was squeamish about needles and had the cutest kitty cat mirror for me to see when I was done. She was also super nice and very social. She even gave me this business card so you can check her out, but also it gives instructions for aftercare with your piercing.On a sidenote, this place was immaculately clean. I loved the vibe they have going on and I am dying to know where I can get a dark green version of that huge couch they have in their lobby. Highly recommend this place for anyone. Definitely going to look into them for a possible tattoo or touch up soon!

My sister and hubby accompanied me to this place to get my nose piercing. I was super nervous about getting a nose piercing but Brook was awesome. She went over different jewelry options and also if I wanted my placement to be where I can add a nose ring later. She made me feel so comfortable and explained the whole process from beginning to the end. She was very gentle and very professional . She even went over the after care details with me as well. I am so happy with Carmel Tatoo ink. I love my nose piercing. I wish I had done it a long time ago. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Not only was Adam extremely talented, but he also doesnt have that chip on his shoulder so many tattoo artists Ive spoken with seem to have. Very nice and courteous. I sent him a picture of the desired tattoo a couple of days before the appointment and he was able to redraw it correcting the proportions and making it unique. The SaniDerm that they put on after the appointment really does work! After removing it 5 days later, the tattoo was almost completely healed. Super happy!

I came to Carmel Ink for my first tattoo, and I have returned here for a second and third tattoo. Each time I have used Zach as my tattoo artist, as he does an amazing job of bringing my ideas to life. Not only does Zach do a great job with the tattoo, but he makes the process fun and relaxing. All three of my tattoo have healed perfectly and when it’s time for more I will be coming back to have Zach do them.

I had looked online at a whole bunch of places and artist portfolios all over the Indy area when I finally decided on here because of the stellar rating. I really liked Micheal Hockmans animal work online, so I requested him and was able to set up a consultation just a month out, and then the actual tattoo appointment just another month out. If I had one complaint, I wish I couldve seen the first design he came up with a little bit earlier, but we had a design that I loved before the appointment, so its all good. This was my first tattoo, and he was gentle and started slow for me so I could get used to the needle, and then it only took an hour. He was super thorough about aftercare as well, which was appreciated. Im extremely pleased with my piece and the service I got here and would definitely recommend!!(If the picture looks weird at all, its because its still in the dry, flakey stage of healing.)

Took my 10 year old daughter to get her ears pierced here after being recommended from one of my moms groups that its a lot more sanitary, less painful & more accurate. I highly recommend Noah he definitely did not disappoint he was super sweet & comforting reassured her he does piercings all the time & that she would be fine. He did not rush & made sure he marked her ears evenly before starting. He was so encouraging to her throughout it all & even sent her out with a sucker. My daughter said she enjoyed her experience and that she really liked Noah & she loved that he was so nice. I have a feeling we will definitely be back in the future! 😊

This is my second tattoo and one that I was very unsure about getting. I was also self conscious about my birth mark on my leg and I wanted to get a tattoo that made me feel more feminine without totally covering something that was apart of me my entire life. Michael talked with me, heard all all of my desires, and created a custom piece that truly flattered me! The design is beautiful and has truly made me love my birthmark! He was so understanding about my concerns and checked on me throughout the entire healing process. He put time and detail into every part of the process for my tattoo. He was personal, professional, and truly cares about every piece he does. If you are unsure about a tattoo, design, or just need some awesome ideas from an amazing artist, go see Michael!!!

I could not have asked for a better first tattoo experience! Naturally I was hesitant about how the design would turn out considering I walked in the day before with only a rough idea, but Phong was able to turn the ideas I had into my dream tattoo! He was also very gentle throughout the tattooing process, which Im sure anyone afraid of the pain will appreciate! I will definitely be coming back for any and all tattoos I want in the future.

I went in to get a Tattoo cover up and Mara did an excellent job. I never thought I’d be able to love my tattoo again. Not only did she do a great job covering if she added some more flair to it to make it even better. She is very personable and took her time to make sure I was comfortable with everything and did everything to make sure I was happy. Mara is the best!

Great experience today with Meghan. Accidentally let my septum close up and she was incredible. Explained the options, everything she was doing and was able to taper it open rather than repiercing! The shop also had a variety of jewelry rather than the basic silver barbell. Definitely recommend :)

I got my first tattoo today. Regis was really nice and friendly. We talked pretty much the whole time. He gave very thorough instructions on how to take care of my tattoo. He also spent at least a half hour drawing the tattoo before we decided on what would be best for the stencil too. It looks great and the service was great as well. I will definitely consider coming back again. : )

I love Carmel Tattoo INK! I’ve been here for piercings by Brooke. She did a great job opening up an old helix piercing and re-piercing my other helix piercings. I’ve also been tattooed by Mara and she’s amazing! Not only did she do beautiful work, but she is kind as well and didn’t make me feel unwelcome since they were my first tattoos and I was a bit nervous. I’ll definitely see her for any future tattoos!

Edit: Michael moved to Forever Gallery and that place sucks due to Michael. Him and another artist did some shady stuff after they left here. Shame a Vet is of such poor character. Man I was so young a and dumb... Id still go to Carmel INK. The owner and his wife are good people.Michael has started on a great piece. I am very grateful for his time and effort. The work he has done so far healed excellently. I look forward to continuing the piece & many more at Carmel Ink!

I went here on Wednesday to get a walk-in tattoo but even though they were booked, Josh managed to get me in the next day and was super great! He made sure I was happy with the design and we had great conversation while he was tattooing me!

1 star because it takes 2 to tango. What I want on my body is my choice and has little to do with the artists judgmental opinion. That said, if i bring work to an artist, they have to be comfortable with doing it in order for me to get the work done. It takes 2 to tango. Just tell the client youre uncomfortable doing the tango, dont invite them to tango in just to blatantly disrespect them.They will get my money, and 5 stars. You will not. Im aware it will fade. Im aware it wont look good.... I dont care? Its my body? I dont care that you dont like it. I like it. Humble yourself.¿Update?: (photos included!) Just got my first tattoo. Barry was really nice answering my questions and putting me at ease about the process. I came in with a design I drew and he upsized it so it would look clearer. Im really happy with it and can hardly wait for it to heal up and shorts weather to be here so I can show it off. Im already thinking about what color Id like added to it. When I have the budget to go back for more.

I recently went to Carmel Tattoo to get my first tattoo. Michael was great! As a first timer, he was extremely thorough explaining what was going on and answering any questions. I am beyond thrilled with the outcome. I would highly recommend Michael and Carmel Tattoo to anyone.

Wouldnt recommend for any atypical piercings-Got my forward helix done here about a year ago and was just told by another piercer that the placement was way off I really dont have the anatomy for it. Apparently theyve got a hard time holding down a position here and are pretty infamous for poorly executed piercings. Shout out to Mystic Images!

Great location for piercings. Skip the mall shops. Dont take a chance on a shoddy airgun.Just took my 5 and 15 year olds here and Brooke was great with both!Cant speak for tattoos but for piercings, this is a great place.

Got my first two tattoos here from Mark. Everyone was super nice and comforting and accommodating. The tattoos turned out to be awesome. Super pleased.I am from Michigan and I think i’ll always consider going here if I decide to get more tattoos.

I do not recommend this place for piercing. Ive since been informed by other piercers that I shouldnt have been pierced w/ a 20 gauge, that the standard for a conch piercing is 14 or 16 gauge at least, and that it wouldve healed a lot faster if done correctly! I was also told that the piercing angle was not straight and that the grade of titanium jewelry they used was subpar. Now Im faced with either having to stretch it over time, or I may need to have it re-pierced...both will extend my healing time considerably. Either way, Im not happy. :(

Great environment, I got mine done by Zach and he did a perfect job! Very friendly. Came out very clean. Been going back to him ever since you got a good artist on your hands!

Josh took over my tattoo appointment unexpectedly and did an amazing job! He made me feel comfortable and showed me multiple options of both tattoos that I requested in all different sizes and variations in order to produce the best image possible. He even helped me make a final decision based on my preferences as I am very indecisive! The price was reasonable and the shop is incredibly sanitary. I will definitely be back for more tattoos with Josh!

Brooke did my daith piercing today. She explained everything really well to me - before, during, and gave me a way to reach out if I had any questions about after care. Seriously such an amazing place!! My experience here was by FAR my best piercing experience I’ve had! I believe the woman who helped me was named Brooke! I called to see if I’d be able to book a double orbit conch same day, they were very booked up with only a few openings (I was surprised they had any honestly!) but were able to squeeze me in same day! Now, Brooke was truly phenomenal!!! I informed her of my health issues prior to my piercings and she truly cared for me the entire time, making sure I was okay every step of the way! She was so outgoing, sweet, and knowledgeable! Answered any question I had and then some! I couldn’t say enough about her! Thank you SO much, Brooke! I hope to come back soon!

My sister-in-law got a tattoo on 01/30/23 at this establishment. Her tattoo artist was Adam French, one of the owners. I was there during the entire process from start to finish and was extremely impressed with Adams attention to detail and the way he explained the steps in that process. This was her first tattoo, and it had a very special meaning to her. Adam made her feel very comfortable from the moment she walked in and continued until the tattoo was finished. She couldnt be more pleased with how amazing the tattoo looks, and the skill that Adam possesses. Both my sister-in-law and I would highly recommend Adam and Carmel Tattoo INK for any design that you might desire.

Had Adam do a half sleeve. Took 2 sittings, Adam explained everything in detail as to what the design would look like. I highly recommend Adam and Carmel Tattoo INK for tattoos and piercings. The shop is very clean and organized. looking forward to doing more business in the future.

I had an old tattoo that wasnt looking very good. It was blurry, and faded. I had it recolored a few years ago, but just didnt look very good so I made an appointment with Carmel Tattoo for recommendations. I ended up meeting with Phong. He made a few recommendations. One of which was to keep the existing tattoo(sentimental) and add to it. I wasnt sure what it would look like. Phong laid out a basic design and asked me to trust him. I did, and couldnt be happier! Phong is extremely talented and very detail oriented. Its about 90% finished with only some shading left.

Adam Finch did an amazing job on mine and my husbands tattoos. We were both first timers. He does great line work. It was a calm, clean, and explained experience. We went over what we thought we wanted and he was able to take those words and turn them in to perfect designs. We were not the ideal customers as we had a kiddo in tow but Adam rolled with it and let us take a few breaks to accommodate the restless toddler. Great experience and the artwork has healed very well for both of us. Reasonable on pricing and timing. Will be back for sure.

My 2.5 year old daughter had been asking for earrings. She got hers done yesterday at Carmel Tattoo Ink. They were highly recommended. They were amazing!! Had a great experience getting my nose pierced by Ellie a couple of months ago. Went back in today after my piercing fell out (which was totally my fault) and wasn’t able to get in back in myself. Brooke was so nice & walked me through everything while putting it back in for me at no charge. Love this place and will definitely go back myself and recommend to my family & friends!

A few months ago I came in to get my nose pierced. I don’t have much of a pain tolerance and I was extremely nervous. Luckily I got Ellie and she was so incredibly patient with me and very kind. She didn’t make me feel bad for being nervous. She truly was the best and I had the best experience with her. My piercing healed up wonderfully, and the placement of it was exactly what I asked for. I cannot recommend Ellie for your next piercing enough! I will probably be back for many more piercings from her.

I have been to Carmel Tattoo Ink to have traditional style tattoos done by Mara Luedeman four times now since November 2022. The employees are friendly and welcoming and the process is very easy. Their scheduling system sends me appointment reminders which is really nice. Mara is friendly, personable, and professional and takes her time to understand what I want and to get the perfect placement. I don’t mind making the 1.5 hour drive. I love my tattoos. I plan on getting many more tattoos with her. The prices are very reasonable and there isn’t a long wait time either. Go check them out!

I just took my daughter to have a double piercing on her ears. Brooke was so sweet with my daughter, walking her through all the steps. The place was very clean. My girls ages 8 and 10 were extremely nervous when we went here to get their ears pierced. We had made an apppointment with Liz and we are so glad we did! Liz was wonderful with the girls. She was so gentle and quick the kiddos didn’t even notice she was done! When I told her how sensitive their skin was she recommended we purchased the best kind of jewelry (titanium) to make sure of no metal allergies. My girls are doing wonderful with their ears and even have mentioned they would go back to her! Thanks Liz!

CTI is my all time favorite place to go for any tattoo or piercing. I have been going for 7 years now. The shop is so clean and the service is fantastic. We trust them so much! Aside from my own tattoos and piercings we also took our son when he turned 6 for his lobes. I will and have always recommended them to anyone who asks.

I went to this place for a nose piercing and tattoo with my family. The nose piercing was done first, and then the tattoo artist worked on the tattoo. Everything was fine, and I paid the tattoo artist separately. However, the nose piercing artist was busy with someone else, so I asked the girl at the register (who said her name was Shelby) if I could make the payment for the piercing. She responded very rudely, saying she didnt know what was done. I asked the other girl who did the piercing, and she told me the amount. Shelby continued to ignore me and said something about being behind on something. After waiting for a few minutes, I went to her and asked her to take the payment. I also told her that she should be more polite and helpful, but she pushed the register and said I didnt have to pay anything and I can leave without paying. I told her that I wasnt there for freebies and went back to the girl who did the piercing. She said she couldnt leave her work, so I asked for an alternative option to pay, and then came to register to process the payment.Overall, I hope this place treats everyone the same and is not prejudiced or rude.

I took my 7 year old daughter here for ear piercing. Meghan was wonderful! She was great with her and did a fantastic job!

Went to get my ears repierced Elisabeth was very nice. Turns out they werent fully closed just needed to be opened a little. So she didnt charge me for a full piercing just the cost of the earing which saved me about 50% of what I was expecting to pay. The store was very clean and nicely decorated too. If I ever want another piercing Id definitely go back.

I got my first big tattoo by Michael, and I could not be happier. He spent quite a bit of time at my consultation. I showed him the ideas I had, and he took those and put his own twist on them, and it turned out awesome. He is extremely skilled artist, laid back, down to earth, and professional. The shop has a great atmosphere. It super clean and spacious. I spent five hours there in one sitting, and the time flew by. This was my first tattoo. I’m 51, so it was a really big step for me. From the moment I arrived, Josh made me feel so welcomed and comfortable. He helped me with my design and was so kind and compassionate when I was so nervous. I will recommend him to everyone who I tell about this experience. His sweet spirit and incredible talent was a gift to me. I will never forget him. I know I won’t because I have his artwork on my wrist every day now. He was a true inspiration! After our in-laws had a great experience w/getting their daughters ears pierced, we decided to follow suit with ours... absolutely no regrets! The people were kind, gentle, informative, & the results have been my daughter having almost no discomfort/swelling, etc. Im very impressed. The place also seemed extremely well taken care of. I am currently 1/3 through my sessions with Michael. This is my first tattoo with any ambition. I had a value brand tattoo done in a basement shop earlier this year, and will never go to less than a professional again after my experience at Carmel Ink. It started with a meet up about a month ago. I sat down with Michael and discussed what I wanted, the reasons, and the source material. He had previous with Dark Tower tattoos so we discussed potential designs he could implement. I have no artistic sense, so I am happy that he could take the thoughts of what I wanted, and implemented them into his own unique artwork. On the day of, his area was very clean & he was great at giving me a rundown of what we would accomplish that day. He bared with me through some of the unexpected pain(Not incredibly bad)and did a great job of giving tips to distract myself. After a 2 hour session, we are 1/3 done. The rose is BEAUTIFUL with the shading. He walked me through proper tattoo care for my tattoo and we booked our next appointment. Overall, very happy so far and would highly recommend.

I just got my third and fourth tattoos done on Wednesday and they are wonderful! Michael (who also did my second tattoo last year) took my ideas and translated them into beautiful tattoos that will stand the test of time. The environment is clean, professional and relaxing. I have not had a negative experience here. I like this shop so much I recommend it to all my friends (two of which have gotten multiple tattoos done by Michael as well). The staff is also very informative and helpful when it comes to the whole process from design/consultation to aftercare.

Ive gone to 3 different tattoo shops to get work done but have never been overly impressed by the work nor have I ever felt welcome and wanted. My sister and I called the day of to see if there was availability that evening (I had also sent an email and received a response right away letting me know to call). When we showed up, we were greeted right away and introduced to Michael, our tattoo artist. He shook our hands and met with us right away. Not only did he make us feel so comfortable and make the entire experience enjoyable, he did a phenomenal job on our tattoos. He chatted with us the entire time and gave us time to make sure the tattoos were in the right place and what we wanted. Pricing was a little more than the other shops but worth EVERY PENNY! I cant wait to have my next one done! Also, I received an email following my appointment from the owner letting me know she saw me and hoped I had a great experience. Michael also followed up within a couple days to make sure everything was feeling ok. What treatment! I would highly recommend Carmel Ink and Michael!!!

This place has completely ruined my ear. I have done 13 piercing on my self to which I have never had an issue with healing. I know where the placement of my piercing should be and the industrial I got was completely put in the wrong place. I asked for a 14g and was very obviously given 16g. The women who pierced me nicked my ear and did not tell me to which I am now struggling with piercing bumps that are slowly developing into keloid’s ( I have multiple cartilage piercings to which have never keloid). The industrial that she did only took 10seconds but bleed profusely for 5 minutes to which she never said sorry and I was never asked if I was alright ( again I have never bleed this much ever when giving myself a piercing, so this was definitely concerning). On top of that my appointment was canceled and the women who pierced me failed to inform me that she had canceled my appointment and I ended up showing up and she was not there. I was taunted and told “ oh you’re ready to grow up” by my piercer after telling her that I do my piercings myself and was nervous to get it done by another person let alone in a shop , but being the person I am I was excited to get this piercing for so long that I took a leap of faith to get it done professionally. I ended up having to take the piercing out and redo it myself because the bar laid on the ear rather then being lifted from the ear; the bar the piercer pierced me with was way to short which became the cause of my piercing bumps. Again I know what a piercing placed in the wrong place looks like as I just removed a nipple piercing placed in the wrong place ( to which the nipple piercing did the same thing as my ear…currently). I do know proper aftercare and rinsed daily with saline solution and still ended up with these problems. Overall my ear is completely ruined and I may never be able to recover from this issue.

Hands down the best tattoo place around! I have gotten three tattoos in the last week and I am OBSESSED! For my first one I had Rob. He killed it and made it exactly how I wanted it. He is very talented and fast. For my other two I had Adam. He killed it too! He was thorough, professional, and detail oriented. He also is very fun to be around and has such a positive, outgoing spirit. Michelle helped me schedule my appointment and responded very fast and she was SUPER helpful. Overall, this tattoo shop is very sanitary and the atmosphere is great! I would highly recommend going here for your tattoo! Michael Hockman is an incredible artist and is very personable. From the time I arrived at Carmel Tattoo INK until the moment I left, Michael made the tattoo experience fun, easy, and quick. I appreciated the professionalism Michael displayed, and his skill, as my tattoo is perfect! I will return and have Michael do another tattoo soon, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants some work done.Update - Michael has continued to work on a space a nature themed sleeve for me over the course of the last 6 months, and I am in love! Very professional and clean environment. I was welcomed by all the tattoo artists and each one checked the progress Michael was making on my tattoo. The Celtic knot work was extensive but very detail oriented and I was overwhelmingly pleased with the results. My son and I both got our tattoos and it was great spending the day with Michael. It looks like home goods and a tattoo shop combined into one making it feel very relaxing in there. I like their paperless consent forms, save the trees!A few months ago Ellie did my septum piercing and when I say that was the most painless piercing experience…I’m not kidding!! She triple checked the placement and it’s perfectly straight. She has a very gentle hand at piercing and is so comforting to be around which definitely put my mind at ease during my appointment. Plus she’s hilarious so I enjoyed my time in the shop with her! I went in for a consultation and he was so kind and knowledgeable and helped me with the final details, so I set up an appointment. Michael worked with me to create an awesome back piece that exceeded my expectations. It incorporates all of the tattoos of my family into an original piece of art he designed. My piece is large so I have two 8 hr sittings.For the appointment Michael made sure that I was comfortable and he got a lot done in one session. Because my appointment lasted for 8 hours I saw more of the the shop than most people will. It is clean with awesome artists. They also do a lot of little girl ear piercings.

The people at Carmel Tattoo are not only excellent artists but excellent people. I’ve had nothing but fantastic experiences and have now spent over 80 hours being tattooed by Adam. I have recommended countless friends to come here and can only say good things about my experience. It is extremely clean, well lit, and comfortable. Carmel Tattoo Ink is located in the arts district in downtown Carmel. They have some designated parking behind their building, but if those spots are filled, there is public parking right next to the reserved area.Inside it’s clean and very beautifully decorated. Love the vibes. The receptionist was very friendly and kind. I was just in for a piercing, so can’t comment on the tattoo portion of the business, but they looked to have a clean and professional setup.The piercing is done in a private area, and the workspace is organized and clean. Shelle is absolutely wonderful to work with. Takes her time, friendly, and very professional. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. I received a tattoo from Michael last Friday. Not only was he professional, but made sure I was taken care of throughout the entire process. This being my first tattoo, Michael made it easy and painless as possible, being gentle, thorough, and precise. He also went over the aftercare procedures and made himself readily available for any questions. I would definitely recommend Michael for any tattoos and because of my experience I have already started planning my second. It was a great experience by a talented artist.

Michael just did the best coverup tattoo for me! More amazing than I could have ever imagined. I loved the shop, very clean and friendly people. Michael did such a great job drawing up my new tattoo to make it the perfect shape and size to cover the old one! His vision with all of the shades of gray and black in the tattoo really make it pop. Went there almost a week ago for a forearm tattoo. When I called and spoke with Justin, he was very nice and they were able to get me in that night. My appointment was with Adam. When I first arrived, the space was nice, welcoming and had an old school or traditional tattoo parlor feel to it! Its clean, organized, and inviting! In no time at all Adam had my tattoo drawn up and within an hour I was done! It wasnt a small or simple piece either. Their attention to detail and the way Adam kept asking me if its what I wanted...is it the right size? Do you like the placement? His honesty was greatly appreciated when he recommended a part of the tattoo be bigger so it didnt look awkward. Saying I really enjoyed my experience and love this place is an understatement. The space is very clean and welcoming and Barry did such an amazing job on my tattoo, it brought tears to my eyes. I drove 35 minutes to come here and I would come back time and time again. I scheduled an appointment for a nose piercing for myself and a friend, and Noah was WONDERFUL. Super calm, explained the process clearly, was very friendly throughout. His demeanor was so helpful as I was kind of nervous, but I felt very much at ease the whole time. So beyond happy with our new piercings! The shop is clean and bright - masks and several rounds of cleaning procedures took place while we were there. Highly recommend - thanks for a great experience!

Elizabeth pierced my 10 and 9 yo’s ears. She was very patient, caring, and professional with them. All was good until one kiddo was too scared to get her 2nd ear pierced. Elizabeth waited for over an hour with us while we convinced her to get it done. Not once did she mention the lobby of people waiting on their appointments. All she wanted was for my scared kiddo to not have to come back to finish the process. Thank you for your compassion and treating each client like they are the most important! The girls newly pierced ears look great!

Matt did a fantastic job! It was my first tattoo and Matt made me feel really comfortable. I gave him a lot of creative control and the sketch he produced was wonderful. I gave a last minute critique and he made a quick adjustment to the design. Needless to say, I love it and I really appreciated his flexibility! It was a great experience! Michael was down to earth, easy to talk to, listened and very patient with my daughter. We ended up with two great tattoos and lots of advice on how to care for them. My daughter is so excited and ready for another. We will definitely be back and hopefully I can talk him into working on a cover up for me.

Great first experience at Carmel Tattoo Ink! My mother passed away suddenly and unexpectedly this past July and I wanted to get a memorial tattoo for her. Adam did an amazing job. I had some specifics that I wanted incorporated in the tattoo but I left the design and color palette up to him. It turned out beautiful and vibrant !!!! The healing process was a breeze too. The shop is clean and the staff was friendly. I have already scheduled with Adam again to have an existing tattoo reworked. They really understood how important this tattoo was to me! I’ve gone to Michael Hockman for several of my tattoos and he’s recently started a half sleeve for me. I am consistently so happy with not only his creativity and designs but also his application and overall personality. He always exceeds my expectations with his artwork and is super pleasant to work with. I always have people asking me where I get my work done and I give them his name every time! My sister and I decided to get matching tattoos and based on the reviews and images on Carmel Tattoo Ink Instagram decided to schedule an appointment. I was told we would be working with Adam French. When we got to the shop everyone was very friendly and the shop was very clean. Adam discussed the design with us and where we wanted to have it. When he began the ink, he did a small line to remind me what it felt like. Then he went to work. The tattoos turned out beautifully. He even worked beyond the closing hours to make sure we were comfortable and happy. THEN if their staff personality and workman ship wasnt enough, they guarantee their work for life. If it begins to fade or we decide there is something not quite right, we can go back anytime and get it touched up.I will be back in November to have them update my first tattoo from 20 years ago!!! Best friends and I went and got piercings we absolutely love them! Ive had the same piercing(helix) from the past but it had blown out and got infected. I was nervous about doing it again but Noah was so fun and calmed all my nerves, this time around it actually didnt hurt at all he let me deiced when it was time and it wasnt anything but a pinch! I highly highly recommend you see Noah for any piercing hes absolutely great! Will definitely be back to see him

Just got an awesome tattoo from Michael yesterday. The dude is one of the coolest and nicest guys youll meet. Very easy to talk to. First of all hes easy to contact. He answers texts and emails in a VERY timely manner (same day in my experience). I went in for a consultation for my very first tattoo a month ago with an idea of what I wanted. I told him I was very open to different designs and he let me know some of the best ways to do my design. He came up with an AWESOME design and was very informative while explaining his process of doing a tattoo. Not to mention, he told me what I needed to do to be prepared. Once I went in for the tattoo, he went above and beyond expectations and was very friendly to my wife and I throughout the whole process. He made sure everything on the tattoo was perfect and went back over certain things multiple times to really get the true effect for the tattoo. Also, since it was my first tattoo, he made sure to explain multiple times what I need to do during the healing process. He made sure I completely understood and didnt get frustrated if I asked the same thing multiple times haha. Im sure all the guys at Carmel Tattoo Ink are awesome, but I would HIGHLY recommend Michael. He did an unbelievable job.

Im from Fishers, but i am an active duty military member. So when i come home my time is limited. Not only did Michael accommodate me by moving around his schedule so that he could fit me in the time i was here. But he also made sure i was comfortable, i recently got injured and am on crutches. So laying down or sitting needed to happen in a certain way for me to feel okay. We both powered through around 14hrs of work in two days, back to back. I cant say enough on his talent, professionalism, and welcoming personality!!The shop itself, well it is an upgrade from their last location. Their new location; which is just down the block from the old one. Has a open and modern feeling, very clean and welcoming. Every artist there is willing to start up a conversation and make sure you feel apart of their shop. They are all talented! I will for sure be coming back for another tattoo in the future!!!

I walked into the shop for the first time when I met with Michael. I told him a few aspects of what I wanted for a half sleeve and he immediately gave me a couple of ideas. He was able to fit me in for the whole session in about three weeks and came up with an incredible design for the session. It’s been about three weeks now after my tattoo and I must say, it still looks as good as when I got it! Michael has also been very reachable and has sent me reminders on what I needed to do for taking care of my tattoo. Overall, a great experience at a high class tattoo shop. I had a great experience!! This was my first tattoo and I really wasn’t sure what to expect. Michael was very professional and explained everything clearly. He definitely put my anxiety/concerns at ease. The tattoo, a cross with wings on my upper back, turned out great! I couldn’t imagine a better result! Michael was amazing! I walked in a couple of weeks ago to get it scheduled and talk about what I wanted. I normally draw my own tattoos, but I wanted this one to be extra special. I wanted a memorial tattoo for my grandfather, and he nailed the design! I was thinking something different, but his was way better! When I went in to get the tattoo done, he showed me his finished design, talked about what his plans were, and we got started right away. At the recommendation of a couple friends, I took my five-year-old to get her ears pierced here. Shout out to the shop for tolerating kids. Not every shop does, and that’s ok. Huge shout out to Brooke for being engaging and patient with my daughter and for doing a killer job with her lobes. Would definitely recommend this shop to other parents looking to take their kids to get ears pierced.

6 of us wanted to get tattoos to commemorate our grandma who recently passed away. Michael Hockman worked with all 6 of us to ensure he was capturing exactly what we wanted. His attention to detail was phenomenal. We came in today 6-7 people deep and he made the experience special for each of us and understood what this meant to our family. His tattoo shading was beautiful and he helped us think through the placement and sizing for those that weren’t sure about where to get them.He was so professional and prepared and took time to talk through the care and what to expect for the next few weeks. Carmel Tattoo may do good work, but I wouldnt know... because the one time I attempted to go in for a consultation my time was completely disregarded and I felt completely disrespected as a customer.It was later in their day and me and my wife show up to get a walk in consultation, which the front desk attendant stated they would be able to honor by the end of the day and asked for us to return in about 30 minutes.We left, walked around the city, then returned. We said hello to the guy working the front desk and he acknowledged us and told us to have a seat.We sat there for about 10 minutes, the front desk attendant eventually just... left without even acknowledging out existence. He packed up his belongings and left for the day.All in all, we ended up spending nearly 90 minutes waiting for nothing. I wish that if it was too late for them to accommodate us, they would have simply stated as such instead of outright ignoring our presence and wasting a sizable part of our evening.

Just recently got my 3rd tattoo here with Michael Hockman. I saw his portfolio and knew he would be the best for my flower tattoo on the back of my arm. What he created absolutely blew my mind. Had a tattoo appointment with Michael here; he was super professional, took my concept and made such a gorgeous piece that I love to show off. The shop was clean, bright, and airy and I personally loved having the large windows to watch people in cars while I was getting tatttooed. The tattoo itself was quick, first time Ive used saniderm, but Michael explained it really well, and it healed so much faster and nicer than my other tattoos. I am super pleased with my experience here and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a tattoo.

I recently worked with Michael on doing a pretty detailed and complicated cover up of an old tattoo. Not only did he take on the challenge, he made it look easy! He took the time to fit the tattoo perfectly over the old one, and it looks flawless.He also educated me on the proper care to heal the tattoo so it doesn’t fade. I just got my fourth tattoo (second from Michael) and I’m already in love with it. Michael did an unreal job. In the consultation, which was super easy and comfortable, I gave him my ideas and he turned it into a work of art. As for the session, it was as painless as it could be. Michael got me a water and made sure several times that I was alright. I listened to music and watched YouTube and before I knew it I had an incredible piece on my arm. When I was finished he explained everything about taking care of the tattoo and keeping it pristine. I plan on going back to him forever and highly recommend him to anyone looking for grey and black work, at least from personal experience; he’s detail oriented and a fantastic artist. It is new to me (as a Mom of 3) that ear piercing is so much easier and is WAY LESS painful at a good tattoo business. This one is the BEST!!! Noah was awesome with my girls! He put us all at ease and he even sanitized the chair each time someone new sat down. I waited a couple weeks to write this review as 3 of us (me included) had ear piercing that day and I wanted to be sure that all 3 of us healed well. All of us are so happy with our new sparkly earrings and even more satisfied that we didn’t have one issue in our healing process. This is a direct result of Carmel Tattoo being so attentive to their sanitization procedures. Sorry for the long and detailed review, but the staff at this location deserves to know how pleased we are as customers. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! :)

Shelle did my piercings today and I was HIGHLY impressed! I received piercings years ago that were put in incorrectly and she got me all the way back together! I went in for a memorial tattoo after having to put my dogs to sleep within two days of each other. I was an emotional mess when I called to schedule the appointment and was treated very well on the phone by Michelle. We exchanged a few texts after that so I could send her my design idea. She was very kind and empathized with me about the loss of my dogs. When I went in, I barely had to wait more than 10 minutes; my artist Justin had already drawn up my design and was ready to go. Both he and the owner were wonderful; when I shed a few tears at the beginning, they asked to see pictures of my dogs and were extremely nice throughout the entire process. I cant begin to tell you how much I love my tattoo! Justin totally exceeded my expectations! He knew how much this meant to me and did an amazing job. Yesterday was my first time stepping foot into the place, and the place was very clean and tidy! There were at least 2 people in front of me, yet I was still able to make it out of the shop in about 15 minutes! I got my nose pierced, the experience was VERY fast and painless! I got my fourth tattoo this week with Michael. This tattoo is by far my absolute favorite! From the moment I walked in I felt that every one of my concerns was addressed: Michael made sure the placement was exactly what I wanted and moved it around a few times, he even helped me with what he thought was best and gave me an extra little piece of adhesive to replace mine if it wore off, so thoughtful!. Michael’s professionalism made me very comfortable and he checked to make sure I was okay the whole time. Great experience.

10/10 recommend getting your first tattoo here, as they have top notch after care instructions that make your tattoos look like they’ve just been done! I got my first ever tattoo done at this place by Aaron and it was amazing! He was extremely calm and made sure I was used to the needle before he really started on my tattoo. He does have a very quiet demeanor, but his happiness and personality really comes out at the best times.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences at carmel tattoo ink. ellie (piercer) is amazing. i’ve been to her twice for myself and once with a friend and she is incredibly friendly and does everything she can to make clients comfortable. she is super helpful and reassuring when clients are nervous or feel sick and she always hypes you up afterwards! will be going to her for future piercings!

My best friend and I got matching butterfly tattoos by Michael about a month ago!!! I’ve gotten a few tattoos at various shops before, but this was my favorite place. Extremely clean and professional. Michael was super personable and never allowed for an awkward silence! Our tattoos look amazing and we had so much fun getting them done!! Highly recommend.

This past weekend my friend and I went in for our first tattoos after reading all of the great reviews about their work. We only did minor tattoos, but Taylor made us feel very comfortable and relaxed since it was our first time. He did an awesome job. I definitely will be getting another tattoo and will be going back there for it!

Been in twice in the last month. first with my sister for a tattoo and then qith my daughter for a piercing. Great atmosphere and staff is very friendly. maybe next trip will be for myself.

Michael Hockman is such a personable and talented artist. My experience was very pleasant and laid back. I had my first tattoos done by him and am overjoyed with the outcomes! I highly recommend Michael to anyone looking around the Indy area for an artist.

I had written a review about a past employee a few months back. I had gone in for my first tattoo and honestly it was just a bad experience.But let me make it clear! That employee is no longer there. I think if the owner had been there the day I had stopped in this incident would have never happened! Adam read the review and when my friend called to talk to him he answered immediately and offered me two free tattoos for the incident. He was fantastic. I don’t have a lot of tattoos and I’m not sure if different artists can make it hurt less? 🤷‍♀️ But he did. It was perfect and his hands were so steady.I would recommend this shop to anyone! Even if it’s your first tattoo or 23rd! Their artists are great, personable, and for someone that never thought she’d get a tattoo...I’d do it 100 times if it was here!! Thanks for the Tats Adam! I had a great experience here. I was here with my daughter a few years ago, and came back today for my own tattoo. I’ve wanted a dragonfly on my outside ankle for many years. Phong did a fantastic job! He explained the risks of fading and needing touch-ups due to the location ahead of time, which I really appreciated. But he still did exactly what I wanted once he realized that I had my heart set on it. Carmel Tattoo is clean and professional. I would highly recommend it!
