If you are coming in with an idea in mind someone will certainly help you along the way.Here are some tips for a smooth experience:Tattoos: Have an idea before you come in, and understand that prices will vary based on size, color, shading, position, detail, etc. Artists have difficulty giving you a price when they dont have a clear idea of what they are doing. Be open, and honest, the staff are the to help you get exactly what you are aiming for. Communication is key. For letters, numbers, and names, be sure to have them written out legibly, and to triple check before you start the letters. No worries, theyll do this with you too.Piercings: we didnt experience this, but again, have an idea in mind what you want and know that they are great at what they do.TYSM Alex for taking care of us. I went to Josh to do a half sleeve and I can’t say enough about how happy I am. He took the time to listen to my ideas and I made the decision to let him design my sleeve using the ideas I gave him. I was blown away with what he came up with. Not only was the design amazing but his work surpassed all expectations. The realism he was able to capture in this piece was more than I could have hoped for. He was also really easy to talk to and was able to answers all questions I had going in. The biggest thing that impressed me was his patience as well as how diligent he was in communicating with me on times, ideas, etc. If you’re looking for a great artist make sure you go see Josh at Indiana Tattoo. You won’t be sorry. I won’t go to anyone else in the future when it comes to new ink. I got my doubles as well as a rook piercing and a helix done here and it was a great experience. I came to the piercer because I had sat in on a friends appointment and loved how everything was handled. Cannot stress how clean and professional the atmosphere was and everything possible was done to make sure that I was comfortable. 10/10 do recommend and I would most definitely go back again.

He just went on a mission on his ownHe took a 20 minute break and came back high as a kiteI ended up paying $725 and he never even started the tattoo I went there to getI went to Mystic images the owner Adam took care of me fixed everything did my tattoo which is 27 inches long. I made a piercing appointment online with Shelle for my daughter. The day came for the appointment, we drove 40 minutes across town in the height of rush hour, for Shelle to have left for the day. The man I spoke to was very rude and stated “Well what do you want me to do? I can’t pierce her.” He did not try to contact Shelle or anything, told me that I needed to email her. I sent her an email and waited over a week for a response, I received none. Definitely not a great experience on either fronts.

Hudson was amazing! He gave me really good tips about taking care of my new navel piercing, and made it very quick and painless. Wonderful prices too! He also pierced my nieces ears, and was as patient as his other reviews claim. She was so scared but he did so well letting her know what he needed her to do for it to go smoothly. Definitely the most professional piercer I’ve met.

Took my sister to get her septum pierced, the piercer pierced through her cartilage causing massive amounts of pain and blood. A piercing that’s supposed to be easy was excruciating. Immediately went to another shop and they were all shocked that she had that done to her. Had to get it removed. 80$ for a messed up piercing and pretty much torture. Wouldn’t go here

So I got a tattoo here awhile ago, Ive got a cat that has helped me through so much in my life that I wanted tattooed. Alex ended up doing my tattoo and hearing my story, just an absolutely amazing experience and he captured my baby perfectly. Today, I got reunited with this cat and realized I never posted a review. I really applaud the protocols they have in place to call first and wait until they were ready for us. Hudson promptly called us in. The atmosphere inside was very welcoming. Amazing place. Phong has done 2 pieces for me, one was a redo that turned out way better than expected. The second one, was really special to me, my daughter drew the piece and he replicated it in perfect detail. He met with me and my daughter, we talked about the piece and how to design it and then he took great care in re creating the work my daughter had done. I love his work and I am so thankful! He is incredibly talented! We also had my daughter’s ears pierced there and they were so wonderful with her, it was such a quick and painless and really cool experience.

I was a little nervous about my new daith piercing, but Hudson was so kind and calm. He explained everything thoroughly, checked in with how I was doing throughout the process, and took the time to carefully explain aftercare. I would not hesitate to go back for any other piercings and absolutely recommend that you check it out.

I got my helix pierced on 8/8/20 by Hudson and he was AMAZING! I was nervous but he definitely eased my nerves! He took time to explain everything to me thoroughly and was a complete professional! My only regret is that I didn’t go with his first recommendation of my helix placement. I couldn’t fully see how it would look where he initially marked it, it seemed a little too high so I had him lower it a bit and he did just as I asked, no questions asked. Turns out, he was spot on with the first marking so my piercing is a little lower than I wanted it to be because of me however I still love it! I plan to go back and get another one as soon as possible!

I called multiple places looking for help with a piercing being swollen and needing my jewelry changed. One guy told me to take ibuprofen and he couldnt help me. One girl took my name and number and never called me back. Both in Carmel.. Finally called Indiana Tattoo Company and Shell answered. Wow what a blessing she is. Not only was she incredibly professional, she was so knowledgeable about my problem and fixed it effortlessly when nobody else in carmel would help me. Im not going anywhere else in the future. Shes great.

I went in as a walk-in for an upper ear cartilage piercing. Hudson was very nice, very professional, got me in right away, explained everything thoroughly before he did anything. He walked me through it as he was doing the piercing, gave me thorough after care instructions & answered all the questions that I had. The environment was very clean & inviting as well.

Hudson was the nicest piercer I have ever encountered! He was super kind about the fact I was nervous because I hate needles and was super gentle and kind through the whole process. I had a rook piercing done with Shelle. The experience was exceptional and the piercing turned out perfect - its been 2 months or so now and has healed marvelously. I have also visited Shelle for a jewelry change (which was, amazingly, free, but I did tip her!!). Both of my experiences with Shelle have been outstanding and I would highly recommend her for piercing.

My friend rylee and I went in tonight for piercings and had a great experience! We were walk-ins and we were helped right away. The piercer new exactly what he was doing. I’ve been to other shops and had piercings done, but none of them compared to this place! He was able to talk me from 2 piercings to 4 with very reasonable prices and a painless (given the circumstances) process. Would definitely recommend to friends, and I plan on going back as soon as these piercings heal!

I first ran in here to buy some solution for cleaning a piercing, which I got somewhere else and received bad information from that piercer. Hudson was so knowledgable and saved me money by explaining the best ways to clean it. Tonight I went in with a piece of jewelry not purchased from there, he changed it as well as showed me how to care for and remove it if I need to. He spent a lot of time and gave me the proper education for caring for my piercing. It was a great experience and I would recommend anyone go there for their piercing needs.

I had my nose ring done in 2016 in 2018 I had my snake bites done. Hudson is an amazing piercer. He answers all questions honestly and he is extremely kind. Jay did such a great job with my first tattoo (second altogether) that I’m back today for my fourth session with him! I’ve been giving him ideas to work with and he takes them and makes them into original tats. The facility is nice and clean, and everyone who works here has shown nothing but professionalism!

Got an old tattoo covered up with a half sleeve. The owner, Jay, did an awesome rendering of EXACTLY what I explained it was that I wanted. Got me on the books quick, and finished my arm in one sitting. The building was emaculately clean and all of the guys there were awesome to hang out with while getting the work done. As far as the tattoo, I will ONLY be coming back to this place for all of my future work! Highly recommend!

I had my amazing tattoo done by the one and only Phong Ho! He was beyond professional and helpful throughout the entire process. He was patient with me when choosing fonts and the size and really helped me understand where it should go and why. The studio was very sanitized and clean and I felt very comfortable getting my tattoo done there, I highly recommend Indiana Tattoo Company and couldn’t recommend enough Phong Ho!

I personally have been going to see Jay for years. He is incredibly talented at his craft, as well as really easy to talk to. Many times I will give him 15 different ideas and he somehow is able to draw something that is even better than what I was thinking in my head. He is incredibly professional, his shop is clean, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him as well as Indiana Tattoo Company as a whole!

Three stars because they had very kind service. My only gripe was that I asked if their jewelry was titanium, piercer said it was. Maybe I misheard?A month later my belly button piercing begins to become extremely irratated. I go back to ask for certs and its stainless steel I should have asked for those at the start knowing I have sensitive skin, whoops.Edit I lost this piercing because of them lying about materials and now have a huge ugly scar on my belly button that turned into a cyst. I could say unkind words about how much this scar upsets me but Im better than that.

Hands down the BEST tattoo & piercing shop north of Indy! Do not go anywhere else for your next piece of ink or piercing. The employees here are incredibly friendly, experienced and understanding. I went in about a week ago for a large leg piece, and Nick was stellar! I walked in without an appointment and he was so chill about it. He was able to depict exactly what I wanted in a tattoo, and his line work is OUTSTANDING. His hilarious sense of humor was one of the best parts of my experience as well. We had the friendliest of conversations during my 2 hour session :-) Not to mention, he charged me appropriately. I paid for a high quality tattoo, and thats what I got. Ill be going in at the end of this week to get it colored in, and I have no doubt that it will turn out beautiful. Additionally, Indiana Tattoo Company is very clean. Nick was diligent in his sanitation techniques, making sure to clean all instruments and furniture before and after tattooing. He used Dr. Bronners to lightly wash my tattoo when he was finished, and he used Saniderm to wrap my leg, which is definitely the way to go. 10/10 would recommend Indiana Tattoo Company

Hudson has done piercings for two of my daughters, my mother, and my sister. He is great. He has such a calm soothing voice that all of them mentioned it. We will be back for anything else needing a hole!

I got a cartilage piercing and am so pleased with it. The artist who did the piercing was professional and very knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all my questions and didnt rush me in any way. The piercing itself was easy and exactly what I wanted. He definitely knew what he was doing. MUST READ: I have came here many times for many large and small pieces. I have a pretty decent selection of ink , but I have never got so many compliments on line work , artistic skill etc . Jay is my go to. ( though everyone is nice and professional ) He covered up such a bad upper arm tattoo I got years ago, I was so thankful . The pricing is extremely reasonable though make sure you tip 20% at least. These guys work hard and perform a amazing service .The building is very clean and bright ! I will be a returning and a referring customer .

Had an appointment today to start an arm sleeve with Phong. He did an amazing job, not only on the art but in his cleanliness as well. The line work is absolutely incredible. Im looking forward to the next few sessions and many more tattoos from such a talented artist and professional.

I just got my nose pierced here and the guy seemed to totally know what he was doing. I even had a friend that had just got hers done and everything seemed fine. So I went into the shop to get mine done. So, not only was the guy an hour late, but he totally screwed up my piercing. I got it done on a Saturday and its only Tuesday and I already have to take it out. He pierced a hole bigger than the jewelry so now the jewelry is sinking into the hole. I have to take it out and get it repierced in 2 weeks!!! Definitely am not going back there!! Would not recommend at all for piercings!!!!

Ive been tattooing professionally for almost 15 yrs and worked with J and Hudson for a year of that. Both these guys are some of the most professional guys Ive ever worked with. Reading thru some of the reviews I noticed that the one star reviews are duplicated stories which seems strange to me. Theyre also very far from the truth about either o e of these guys. For the record we parted on good terms which in this Industry is a very difficult thing to do. Jay helped me with a lot more than just my tattooing and I want to say thank you to him and Hudson for treating me like family.

The place is spotless, everyone was friendly and focused on cleanliness and safety. Hudson is fantastic! He did a small sunflower cluster on my wrist and literally charged me 60% less than another place quoted me. I can’t wait to get my next one...and the one after that and the one after that...LOL

I have been using Indiana Tatoo Company for over a year now . Phong is my tattoo artist and I’m extremely happy with his work so far . He is meticulous, creative and his work is probably as neat and sharp , as it can get. My recent shoulder tattoo took more than 4 hours to finish and he did it with less than 5 mts break. Very clean and sanitized tattoo stations much better than few other places I have used in the past (in Carmel & Indianapolis). Consistently great experience and will definitely recommend...

I received a beautiful piece from Phong Ho, and I couldn’t be happier with it. He genuinely cares about the quality of his work and does his best to make his clients happy. In addition, Phong’s line work is absolutely astounding and I have already gotten so many compliments on mine and asked who did it such a clean, detailed piece. His coeworkers all seemed very kind and welcoming, as well. I never felt uncomfortable or judged. The business over all looked incredibly clean and well kept (like very noticeably clean). Came here and the work they did and advice they gave me was the complete opposite of what I was told previously. My piercing looks great and they were so great to work with. Had the worst experience ever. I went to get my nose pierced and the guy had no idea what he was doing - he did not place the piercing in the right place at all and the actual hole was too big and the piercing was too small. This ended up making my piercing sink inside of my nose with some skin growing over it. When I went the next day to ask if everything was fine he didnt even answer my questions. I ended up going to the shop in downtown Carmel & she saved my nose! Horrible experience! 0/10 would recommend.

So many of my friends have gotten tattoos and piercings from Indiana Tattoo and they all have had to go and re-do them or get their tattoo covered up. I would never recommend this tattoo shop because all of the bad experiences. It is not fair, because when you get a tattoo you are permanently marking your body and why would you want to mark your body poorly. All of the lettering I have seen are uneven and just sloppy. Not taking their time on the tattoo. Also their customer service is horrible. When you are getting a tattoo or piercing done, it hurts obviously. I got my first ever tattoo done by Phong and he did an amazing job! He is very detailed and cares about the customer he is doing a tattoo on! I would 100% come back and recommend him personally!

Absolutely amazing. Phong was my artist and did excellent work. Its crisp, perfectly aligned, and the price was awesome. Look no further to get your tattoos done. They can do anything from simple to complex works.

I LOVE Jay. I have every tattoo by him, and I would never cheat on him. I followed him from Carmel Ink, and bring every friend who wants tattoos in to see him. Theres a bad rep going around about this place because Jay had a bad parting with Carmel Tattoo. This is slanderous, and basic BS. Jay is a straightforward artist, who wont cheat you. If the placement will age poorly, or if its too small, he will tell you it wont look good and then offer solutions. That is why I love him. That is why I trust him. Hes a good, honest artist, and a good honest man. I wont trust anyone with my skin, other than him and whomever he trusts. Loyal to ITC.

Jay is amazing to work with. Whether youre a skull & flames type or dolphins & butterflies, hes fun & professional. Super clean shop ascwell as an amazing artist & above all else, cleanliness & great art is key. If you need new ink, definitely check them out.

Please do your research before going to this tattoo shop. My tattoo turned out horrible and I have seen many form the other guy Jay and they are so muddy looking and faded and no where near perfect lines. Nick is by far worse and he is on Indianas S.O list and did prison time. So make sure you do a search on Nicholas R Delheimer. Its hard to believe people like this are hired to tattoo if they are not even suppose to be around minors. He has been tattooing female minors as well

Dont listen to the other reivewers. They are all friends with the owner of another shop. They pulled this crap on the companys facebook page as well. Jay has done 5 out of 6 of my tattoos. He does AMAZING work. He has won awards and been featured in magazines. The shop is very clean and inviting when you go in. I drive 4 and a half hours to get my work done by these guys. I would be more than happy to show pics of there work, since Im pretty much a walking portfolio for them.

So first things first any one who posts reviews or uses them as judgement on determining where to eat or who to hire as a baby sitter or in this case where to get a tattoo all should know that, 99% of the 1 star reviews were placed by people with sticks up their asses , now from what Ive read amongst all of these 1 star reviews these people are clearly confused.... I have gotten my last two tattoos and a touch up from this shop, line work 5/5 . color/blending 5/5 . shading 5/5 . customer service 5/5 . and patience with customers 5/5. Ive also seen there interactions with other customers. People who are getting there very first Tattoo all the way to people who are just as covered as i am this is seriously one of the better shops Ive been to and Ive been tattooed all over Indiana

Super clean shop with reasonable prices and nice staff. Phong did my recent tattoo and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. He added beautiful details and shading and even gave me a discount for it being my first tattoo. Wonderful experience.

Had a great experience getting my daughters ears pierced by Hudson. He calmely explained everything he was doing and reassured my 6 year old that if she was uncomfortable with anything then we would stop.

Jay did a terrible job on my tattoo. He couldnt even draw straight lines! His cleaning and healing advice wasnt correct and to be honest he seems a little childish, I wrote an honest review on Facebook and he said he was going to sue me for slander...um I dont know where he was raised but in America theres freedom of speech. Everyone has the right to go to whoever they want but please dont make the mistake I did by going here, youll regret it. I was at least lucky enough to find great people to fix it and touch it up.

Hudson was incredibly calm, patient, and thorough with my daughter for her piercing. Thorough cleaning instructions. Couldnt have asked for better care for a girl who was really nervous!

Hudson was very professional. Im a nurse and am familiar with clean technique and he did everything right.He was nice and professional and he calmly explained everything he was going to do and the after care too.

Phong is great to work with. He wants to be your buddy and earn a lifelong customer and friend. He wants to work with you to give you what you want, and something you will love for the rest of your life. I love going to visit Phong, and talking about my ideas for my next tattoos with him. He always has you come back in to see if your piece needs touched up, and its always a great experience.

Nicks tattoos are horrible! Actually all the tattoos that come out of this shop look faded and 10 years old in the first month.You need to compare the work of this shop to some really good ones! None of these guys are even good. Not to mention the legal issues you will see when you search Nicks full name. Its something very serious so do little research and you will find out! Disappointed that I went in for a touch up on the red part of my tattoo and it looks worse than before. With over 20 years of experience, youd think a simple touch up wouldnt leave you scarred and discolored. Ive had 5 tattoos done here so I thought I was good for a clean touch up.

Definitely ask for one of the owners to do your tattoo. Had some other dude do a piece on my leg and knee cap. Both came out ok but the after care instructions he said are to leave it wrapped in some ceran wrap kinda stuff. Guy didnt wrap it air tight on my leg and it immediately got infected the next day due to the moisture from the ink still on my leg. Also a big red flag is when he was doing my knee I told him to give me a minute bc it hurt like hell (Im not one to complain while getting tattoos) he didnt even let me take a breath. Over priced af for the whole ordeal, just go somewhere else and get the same quality for maybe half the price. Old dude even bragged about over charging when other ppl came in for getting work done.

Had an appointment for sat 12/31. Artist cancelled last minute. Lucky I was able to get my deposit back.

Every bit of work that is on my body was done only by these two Artists.I could not be more satisfied !!!My backpiece alone was a result of over 6 hrs of consultation and resketches - never once did I ever feel like I was being rushed, ignored or not getting a fair deal in any way..The only thing that sucks is that THE ONLY 2 people that will ever ink for me are now 3 states away...Miss yall immensely down here Montgomery !!!!Yall Rock !!!!!

Honestly i got a tattoo from here and it looked awful faded uneven and all over not what i wanted. i had to go to carmel ink and have them do a cover up of what jay did also it was just rude service all around my first tattoo was on my ribs and it was a sensitive area and he didnt want to give me breaks or hed get mad when i would want to if youd like me to post a before and after picture i would love to!!!!
