I researched multiple piercing and tattoo shops in Raleigh and Cary before scheduling an appointment for me and my daughter. I chose Fine Art because seriously, how many piercers can say they have 5 stars with over 500 + reviews!? I got the daith and my daughter had a second piercing in her lobes. I was extremely nervous because I heard horror stories about the pain involved with a daith piercing. Aside from a bit of pressure it was relatively pain free. Lilith was so patient, answering all our questions and putting us both at ease. Since we booked two appointments at once we waited a few months to get in BUT Im so glad we did. I would definitely wait again for her expertise and genuinely sweet nature!

Lilith was fantastic!!! I got my nose pierced, and I am normally skeptical of needles, however Lilith made the appointment amazing! She was so sweet, easy going and knew exactly what to say without me having to tell her. She was inviting, warm, and welcoming.The placement is wonderful! And she provided excellent advice on what side of my face, thorough cleaning instructions, and plenty of compliments!! I will 100% be back to see her for any of my other piercing needs! Lilith really is the best. I went last night to get my septum done as my first piercing since my lobes as a kid and I was incredibly nervous. I’m afraid of needles and the type to do an insane amount of research before I commit to anything, well Lilith did EVERYTHING I expected a piercer to do and more. I had a literal check list in my head that I created to tell me if the situation was a red flag and not once did I feel like I wasn’t in safe hands. With so many things that can go wrong with a septum, she reassured me and guided me through every step she was taking. I don’t know if I’ll be up for a new piercing any time soon but if I do get a wild hair, Lilith will be the only person I trust.If you’re wondering if the reviews are too good to be true OR if getting a piercing done with Lilith is the right move, stop looking. Book the appointment! She’s worth it!

I will definitely be back for future piercings! Lilith made me feel relaxed and comfortable, even as a piercing newbie (Claires circa 2003 doesnt count). I had my helix and second lobes done, but ended up regretting the jewelry I chose for the lobes. Lilith was SO so kind about switching it out, as much as I hated to ask. Its been a few weeks and everything is healing flawlessly. I cant wait to come back for more!

I have seen Lilith a few times over the years for piercings and jewelry. I have also had her pierce my daughter’s ears and later her nose. She always goes above and beyond for her clients. She’s extremely clean, gentle, knowledgeable, and friendly. I won’t go anywhere else for my piercing needs. I highly recommend for adults and children.

Fantastic experience for my 6 year old.They were very gentle, patient and helpful with her plus they have a really cool and incredibly clean studio. So far the piercing looks to be healing perfectly. We had to drive from a good ways away but it was totally worth it. Would definitely recommend and return here for future piercings.

I wanted to get my ears re-pierced and I moved here recently, so I did a little research. I was surprised Fine Art Body Piercing wasnt on the top of Yelp’s list cause first of all, it has incredible reviews, second of all Lilith Mae works with children, third she lives up to the reviews.I am kind of a weenie when it comes to needles, but since she has worked with kids, I thought it would be a great spot.Lilith was kind, responded the same day, listened to me, checked in on how I was feeling and explained what she was doing.Definitely recommend going. Even with my re piercings. She did an incredible job!

I trust this woman WITH MY LIFE! She was so spot on in matching my piercing Inspo pics and I truly felt so comfortable asking for little changes (of which she matched every time.) I have really bad anxiety when it comes to needles but not anymore because she literally took it all away and assured me it wasn’t bad. Lilith was so amazing! My kiddo got worked up after the first ear and I thought we’d be leaving with just one ear done that day. Lilith is absolutely amazing and so skilled! I had my daith pierced and barely felt a thing, just some pressure. Im about five days post piercing now and theres zero redness, and no pain at all. I cant wait to get the other side done and switch out jewelry. 😊

Lilith is amazing!!! 🥰🥰🥰 I was referred to her by a friend and im so happy i chose her as my peircer! I first went into her with a pic of tragus and outer helix piercing combo. Not only was she the sweetest but measured my ear and helped with placement! Came out AHHMAZING and Ive had nothing but compliments! She gave great care/cleaning instructions and the 3 holes healed great! I have referred her to several friends now.I just went back for my 2nd piercing appointment this time for my daith. Again, so caring, sweet, and professional! Piercing went amazing (she tries to be as painless as possible) but site started bleeding after. I went with my friend a few months back during her Halloween special and got a flat helix! I am still in love with the piercing. Lily is amazing! I had attempted to get my helix pierced twice before (once at a mall many years ago and once at a tattoo shop). Neither one turned out well. I decided to give it one more chance. Lilys piercing is healing so much better than either of the others. When I came back to have the post size changed I went ahead and got a forward helix piercing from her as well. She is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home.

Ive gotten pierced at Fine Art Body Piercing probably about 11 times. Lilith is amazing in every way! Im always terrified but she eases my mind, answers all of my questions and somehow makes most of the piercings Ive had relatively pain-free. The studio is great and she has extensive jewelry options. These 5 star ratings are no joke. She really is amazing! I rarely do reviews but she deserves another 5 stars. I went in nervous and she made me feel so comfortable through the whole experience. I didnt handle my piercings well (light headed after, etc...) and she was quick to address my feelings and pampered me with snacks and cool clothes. I never felt rushed while I got my bearings back, even though she had another client after me waiting. I was embarrassed that I had to lay there as long as I did, but she was so thoughtful and kind with the whole experience. Will definitely go back for any future piercings!!

I got my septum pierced elsewhere a few months ago but it didn’t seem to be healing very much after 8 weeks and trying to put in new jewelry was a nightmare. It was also crooked and slightly low. I decided to take it out after researching for the best piercer I could find in the area. This led me to Lilith Mae. I texted her about how long I should wait before having her repierce it and she got me scheduled. The shop is spotless, the salt water aquarium brings instant calm vibes, and Lilith is incredibly warm and professional.She explained everything and truly took her time lining up the piercing. The first one I got elsewhere hurt a ton (likely went through the cartilage) but it was truly painless when Lilith pierced it. It was over in a flash and as someone who had 7/8” gauged ears and multiple piercings in my youth, I can honestly say I have never been to a piercer of her caliber. If you need something stabbed and adorned with jewelry, cease your search now that you have discovered Lilith Mae. I am truly impressed and will never go anywhere else for a piercing.

I wrote a mega long review in the past but I think the internet connection went bad when I tried to post it.....anyways, this has been my best experience! She is so kind and helpful and I felt very calm. I think we all have a little anxiety getting a needle in our body, and even though I was a little nervous I still knew I was in good hands. I decided on this shop after reading reviews and looking at the pictures on the shop Instagram account and liked the piercings she does (piercing placement is important, people!) so I decided to drive from Greenville NC to get my left conch, right daith, and right industrial all done. I really enjoyed the vibe of her shop and everything about the setting. She is so nice and I liked talking to her throughout the process. I have autism so I get a little worried in settings where Im out of my comfort zone and feel I may be a bother to others, but even though she didnt know about my disability, I felt treated like a normal person (I have gone to shops where I felt like they treated me differently). Im more used to interacting with people in my field (getting a PhD, Im a violinist and am most at home in an orchestra) so when I do anything cosmetic that modifies my body, face, or hair, I feel I just lack the social abilities for those contexts. She was great though and the conversation flowed naturally so I can also say she is disability friendly, which is a lot. I went two weeks ago, and these pictures are within the last couple days. Everything is healing great and she had exactly all the jewelry I had in mind to put in. Ill definitely return back when Im on breaks from my doctoral program. In the future Im going to come back for a jewelry change on my current opal cluster (not pierced here, did not like placement) and put a tiny opal there, and then have her pierce my helix snug to the curve (like I wanted to begin with) with the opal cluster, because she placed the other piercings she did EXACTLY how I wanted! Then Im also contemplating a forward helix or maybe even a triple forward helix (edit: on the ear with the conch)...anyways, I trust her with everything and that is why I look forward to coming back for anything related to my piercings. She is so classy and professional and has a great selection of jewelry. You really have to go to her! I am thinking Ill even bring my best friend from out of state to get her tragus pierced! She is 100% perfect and I have no complaints whatsoever. I like that her shop is JUST her business and it is not within a tattoo shop; a lot of those places that are a tattoo shop with a piercer on staff tend to be overcrowded and not focused on you, whereas with Lilith she has a small occupancy so that you are the focus, as it should be when getting a piercing done! She should be the one training everybody else on how to socially interact with their clients, because she is so easygoing and nice and clearly loves what she does. 5 billion stars! ❤️

I came in to the studio for a septum ring after quite a bit of research and speaking to several piercers in the Raleigh area. Now Ive had many, many, piercings done at various studios across the 4 states Ive lived in. This was by far and away my best experience. Lilith was lovely, attentive, and walked me through the entire process even knowing that I was a body mod vet. I never felt pressured to upgrade jewelry or buy products, the studio was immaculately clean, and the whole thing just felt tailored to making me comfortable. She also remembered that I had asked for something understated which I had mentioned in an email several weeks prior which actually surprised me. I honestly can not say enough about this shop. There is a reason that Lilith had so many five star reviews, its very well deserved. I will definitely be coming back for any piercings I get in the future. Thank you so much!Little update: my septum is healing exceptionally well no irritation and it stopped any kind of swelling or crusting within about 48hrs (not changing the jewelry just yet though obviously). Note for folks who havent had this piercing: it may appear a bit crooked the first few days because of swelling as mine did. Once it settled the piercing is nice and straight and the placement is excellent.

Lilith has done 7 very successful piercings for me over the past couple of years and I can safely say theres no one more qualified to pierce than her. I reccomend her to everyone i know and she is great at creating a welcoming environment. She always informs you about the risks of any piercing before you get it and is very easy to ask questions to. If you are nervous about getting pierced, have had bad experiences in the past, or simply just care about the quality of your piercing then she is the person to go to!

I rarely leave reviews, but I’m so happy with my experience here I had to! I had trouble with 3 piercings before finding Lily. So far she’s done 4 piercings for me and they are all healing beautifully! I’m not surprised. You can tell she’s good at her craft. The piercings were quick and relatively pain free. I felt at ease the whole time. (Lily is also just a friendly and genuine person and you can tell right away) Everything was explained well…from the jewelry selection (which is amazing)and prices, to the aftercare and when to downsize. There is a great assortment of very lovely jewelry, I am very happy not to be spending months with plain studs like I was expecting. Amazing place, well kept, and wonderful owner. She explains things very well and makes she made sure I understood exactly what was going on. Told her I totally see why she has 5 star reviews at this point and I totally appreciated being able to go see her for my tapering - been wearing earrings for 7 days now when I couldnt wear my piercings before for even 15 minutes without irritation. Lobe piercings are all I have and Im not sure if Ill do anything else, but if someday I decide for more, I wont go anywhere else!

Look no further! Lilith is amazing! I took my 14-year old daughter in for a second hole piercing and Lilith and her associate made the process easy, smooth, and very comfortable. Her associate answered every question we had with kindness. This is huge bc we called a few other places and hung up feeling like we were disrupting their time. It can feel intimidating trying to choose a piercing boutique for your child, but FABP made it easy for us. Liliths boutique was hospitable providing comfortable seating, offering water and even had an amazing saltwater tank to peep at while waiting. My son especially enjoyed this. Overall amazing experience and we plan to make this our go-to piercing spot.

My appointment with Lily was great! I found her from a google search and decided to book based on all her good reviews. She was very accommodating when my appointment had to be rescheduled. She is really sweet, knowledgeable, and makes the piercing appointment super fun. I did a double helix piercing and am so happy with the results!Update 4/6/22: about 2 months after my piercing, I snagged it pretty bad and got a friction bump. I texted Lily about it and asked what I could do to remedy the problem. She responded very quickly with great instructions and I was able to help heal it up!

A few years ago, Lilith re-pierced several ear piercings that I had neglected. It was such a comfortable and pleasant experience that I knew when I wanted more piercing work done, there was no one else I would go to. A few weeks later, she pierced my daith and was so great at teaching me about healing and care. This year I got to visit her new studio space for a double forward helix piercing. Lilith was amazing and squashed all my fears that I had about getting my piercings. I did three piercings on the right ear (1 at the rook and 2 at the helix) and highly recommend this place. Today is day 3, and I barely feel pain. Lilith was super professional and sweet. I didnt mean to be picky or demanding, but she brought drinking water from the next shop when I felt thirsty right after the procedure. I have pretty many experiences with piercings, and she is one of the best. The shop and her working space were hygienic and well organized. Im willing to revisit!

I got my nose (left nostril) pierced here about 2 weeks ago... The level of professionalism here is exceptional, and Lilith was sure to walk me through every step of the process. Lilith is absolutely wonderful! Had my first experience 3 months ago when I had my nipples pierced. She was great and my piercing are healing nicely and love them.I decided to get a PA done few days ago and the experience with Lilith was flawless! Such a beautiful person!

Got my nostril pierced yesterday and it was a wonderful experience! Lilith was able to squeeze me in on a last minute cancelation but shes worth the wait! Theres a reason shes so booked up. The space is cute and not intimidating, I loved seeing the fish tank which had awesome variety. She provides drinks and snacks which was a nice treat to make sure youre hydrated and in good shape for piercing. She explains things well and is very skilled and efficient. This was my first piercing other than earlobes and her attitude and energy kept me so calm and relaxed that the piercing experience was a breeze. So far the piercing is healing beautifully with no irritation or soreness after the initial piercing part. I will definitely be back to get my ears curated in the future. Lilly pierced my niece and me a couple weeks ago. She was friendly and the space was immaculate. She is clearly knowledgeable, and shared information about rook piercings to make sure my niece was up for the healing and pain. She did a double conch piercing on me, and she listened to what I was saying about the kind of jewelry I wanted to put in at some point, which made her recommend the right placement for the piercings. Lilly told us she would be happy to change our piercings for both the piercings she did, as well as those she didn’t. The fee for changing a piercing is incredibly reasonable! It was as painless as possible, and we even left with cute goody bags with aftercare and maintenance. I live in the DC area and Lily’s pricing was on par with DC prices, but instead of going to a tattoo shop, it was a quiet and private experience in her studio. Can’t recommend Lilly enough! I know I’ll go back to her for future piercings.

Lilith pierced my daith for me after I had to take it out the year before. She was so sweet and had a ton of jewelry to offer me! She took her time explaining the process but still was quick enough to make the experience painless. She has the best goodie bags too. Was so exited to see Lilith, we had booked over a month in advance. My son was getting a second lobe piercing hes 14. My 16 year old daughter was getting her first lobe piercings and was a bit nervous. Lilith was excellent with walking us through everything, making us feel at ease. We have nickel allergies and that wasnt a problem with the titanium flats she uses. I also got my nostril repierced. She has a great selection of jewelry. We wont see anyone else going forward. Ive had three piercings done by Lilly (conch, tragus, and nose) so far and already have my fourth booked. In the past Ive had issues with piercings healing correctly, but the ones I had done at Fine Art have been beautiful so far! Her studio is adorable, she has an awesome selection of jewelry, and shes very sweet and informative if you end up having follow-up questions. Shes also great at helping you relax before and during the piercing.

I went and got my flat pierced on my ear. Lilith’s studio was super clean, everything was sterilized and she was definitely a master of her trade. I went with a friend and watched her sanitize between clients and even changed her glove when I picked up something off the floor and handed it to her. It’s those little things that make her amazing at what she does. Her jewelry selection was great— kinda hard to decide because there was so much. She made great suggestions and my friend and I really loved our piercings.

Have you ever had your Piercer stop piercing you for a second to wipe your tears?I had both sides of my nose pierced today, and as expected, my eyes watered. Lily has pierced my belly button and third lobe. A week ago, I needed my helix piercing resized to fit a piece of jewelry. She was only a message away and got me in a few days later to help. She answered all my questions pertaining to the piercing and didn’t get annoyed when my nerves began to kick in. 10/10 I will be returning.03/5/2022: One day my Daith piercing mysteriously fell out and once it did I immediately began to Panic, I then called Liliths shop and explained to her my situation she texted back almost immediately and gave me suggestions on how to fix it. Once I failed to help myself she gave me the option of coming to the shop so she could put it back in, I was so relieved and extremely appreciative especially since she fit me into her busy schedule. She’s literally the BEST, she is the only person that can touch my ears, lol. I highly recommend.

Absolutely the most premium piercing studio around. And with that said, also the most expensive place I’ve gone to get anything pierced so you better have some deep pockets. Lilith is a professional piercer located in Sola Salon Lofts along with many independent vendors. She can make you feel at ease and comfortable during your piercing. She has a selection of piercing jewelry to choose from and is also very expensive as well. Call me cheap if u want but I don’t agree on her pricing for the piercing and the jewelry, even the least expensive jewelry is well over $100. Outrageous!! I would certainly not recommend going to her unless you like throwing money away. I went to her 3 different times and each time was more expensive than the previous time. When she charged nearly $200 for one piercing, I said that’s enough for me. The last time I went to here she was over 30 minutes late. I don’t think it is a good business practice to have customers waiting on you.

Got my septum done by Lilith almost a year ago (May marks 1 year!) and I can’t rave about her enough. Recommended her to my coworker who got his nostril done recently and he also spoke on how kind and professional she was. I truly wouldn’t trust anyone else to do any future piercings more.

I got my nose pierced. I was pretty nervous beforehand but she very sweet and made sure I felt comfortable. Afterward I did feel a bit dizzy and she gave me some juice and had me lay down for a few minutes, then made sure I was ok to stand up.Her studio was very clean and organized. She also followed all COVID-related sanitary regulations (mask, wiping down the seat, etc.) She was very thorough in her explanation of the aftercare, and gave me some products for it. Overall I had a great experience with Lily, she is so sweet and accommodating! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who’s looking to get a piercing!
