Scott did an amazing job on a mother daughter tattoo for my mom and me. He was so friendly and accommodating. He understood the importance of this to us and made sure it was just perfect! This was my mom’s first tattoo and he made her feel so comfortable. We will both definitely be back. By far the best experience I have ever had. Was recommended from a good friend. We emailed Kip and got some rates-He’s very pleasant and had a quick response through email. He booked us an appointment pretty quick and upon arrival, he was very friendly, reasonable, and skillful. In about two hours, he had both me and my hubbies Tattoos completed. He is a remarkable artist and me and my husband highly recommend him.

I had some tattoo work done earlier this year, unfortunately the line work and shading left a lot to be desired. I found Kip from Double Deuce on IG and loved his posted work. From the second I contacted him he was more than accommodating and told me what he could do for me. I have gone here twice now and this place is great. Scotty the owner is friendly and makes you feel welcomed. He explained everything that was going to happen before and after getting my tattoos. He keeps the shop clean and made sure to open anything he was going to use in front of me. He did an awesome job both times.UPDATE: (November 2023) I have gone back a third time (technically 4 times) to finish my lower sleeve and add more to the roses. As always Scotty was very friendly and the shop was clean. Honestly you wouldnt know anyone had been in the shop before I got there. If your looking for friendly service, a clean place and dad jokes (from Scotty) this is the place to go. He did an awesome job on all my tattoos and cant wait to go back.

I’ve been going to Kip for about 5 years now and he has been nothing except for superb. I recently went in for a Phoenix hand tattoo and I was a little nervous being turned away by other artists in fear the tattoo was too challenging, I asked Kip and he didn’t shy away at all and it came out exactly what I was picturing in my mind. I got my Bender tattoo here. And then promptly forgot where I had went. Ive been searching to remember where it was and today I found them.I chose this place because the other shop I first went to was very unprofessional and didnt even acknowledge my existence when I first came there. Luckily I found this shop while driving away from there.The work was perfect he made my really strange idea if Bender in a flannel eating bread.Im definitely coming back to get two more big pieces and my two sleeves.Heck, I like this shop so much I might even go carny level tattooed woman with it.And yes, Ive been searching for 2 years to remember which shop it was so I could leave this review, they were THAT good.

Kip was amazing to work with from start to finish on the memorial tattoo I had done for my sister. My family up in NJ got the same exact tattoo, but commented on how much they loved the work Kip did on mine more than theirs! The colors were so much more vibrant and the roses were so much more realistic! I have a couple of other tattoos and this tattoo is the best one I have ever had done! I can’t stop looking at it! I love the shading he did on my roses and how he just made it all come together and flow . I now have my go to artist for my next tattoo! I had my session with Kip. The shop was super clean and followed Covid precautions which as an immunosuppressed individual made me feel super safe and taken care of. Kip was punctual and ready to go with sizes and styles already out to be chosen and offered to resize some of them; however there was no need because I had already spotted the two that were perfect! Wait time was absolutely minimal and we jumped right in. I felt super comfortable no anxiety and Kip was quick and thorough!!! Best tattoo artist I’ve had in NC, very talented with line work and attention to detail. Quickly became my favorite and I will forever keep him as my go to artist! If you need wording or something with intricate line work Kip is your man even though his whole portfolio and style is amazing.

Immediately I was impressed by clean, and well lit atmosphere; I felt comfortable knowing that the artists make sanitation and sterilization a priority. Went in earlier this week with my cousins for tattoos (my first). Edgar was able to talk to us right then, and we set up our appointment for that evening. At our appointment time, Edgar drew up our designs beautifully, and was so amazing during the entire process! He was calming and as gentle as possible; really made this a very positive experience for us! We LOVE the tats - the design and shading was perfect for all 3 of us. I’ve been getting tattooed by the owner, Scott, for years now so I’ve gotten to know the shop and its artists quite well. They are an amazing group of people who run a clean, friendly and fun shop. They all have unique specialties and a dedication to their craft. They work together to ensure the right artist is doing your piece. I’ve spent roughly 36 hours in this shop and I’ve seen nothing but top-notch consultation and tattoo work while there. I can’t recommend them enough and I won’t go anywhere else!

Great first experience. The staff was very welcoming. Nathan immediately began consulting with me & gave me great advice on some aspects of the tattoo that needed to be changed. He was very easy to converse with, and was very verbal throughout the whole process. He made sure to show me all the sanitary precautions as well as tatted an awesome tattoo on my ribs. Nate was phenomenal! There was not many reviews about him so I made sure to leave this and spread the word that THIS GUY IS GOOD. He was extremely patient with making sure every detail of my tattoo was exactly how I wanted it. The experience was amazing, for my first tattoo Nate was light handed and consistently made sure I was doing okay. The actual store was steril and the guys in there treat everyone who walks through those doors like family. I will definitely be going back for my other tattoos.

Scott is a veteran artist with old school skills and new pony tricks all rolled into one. Not only was he extremely talented, professional and easy to talk to, but his COVID19 safety was 100 out of 100. In my mask, with he in his, the entire experience felt safe, clean and even therapeutic. I’ll be back and I’ll recommend him to all my friends, clients, students and family. I’ve been to 5 other tattooists in Wake County- all were good, but none of them compare to Scott for cleanliness, intelligence and professionalism.

I have had work done here twice by Scott Russell. Both times I have found myself floored by his work. In most shops, the work has to do all the talking because the staff isnt very personable. The staff at Double Deuce is always awesome, friendly, and most of all experienced. They are professionals who will always give great opinions and advice. Scott is a consummate professional while maintaining an inviting personality. Ive been through the tattoo process almost twenty times and Ive only returned to an artist once. Me and my friend wanted to get a tattoo for the first time, we shopped around for a little bit and found Double Deuce fairly quickly. I checked out the website and I really thought that this was the place for us. I was able to schedule a consultation with Edgar, within a couple days of emailing.I was nervous, but he definitely put us at ease. He was able to fit us in due to a cancellation and we were so excited!He was able to do my finger tattoo, free hand and it came out so great!I would definitely, recommend him.Tooch was very nice too, he greeted us and it added to the great atmosphere. They were the only two people I met but, I bet all of the artists are great! Definitely would recommend!

Awesome experience! Just got my third tattoo from there and I was very impressed. Derick gave a great consultation and drew up my design. It was perfect. He even touched up my other tattoos and now they look great too. Very professional and friendly, not at all intimidating like the other places I have been to. Price was fair and the work was amazing. Had an amazing experience here! I came in to get my first ARM band tattoo, and Mike did a PHENOMENAL job. His line work is very clean and the tattoo turned out exactly the way I had pictured. The quality of the work is top notch. The whole place was very clean, from the door all the way to the restroom in the back. Very good prices and professionalism.

My experience with double deuce tattoos was great. Scott was the dude that did my tattoo. I love it. He really took his time and did a great job on it. The price was reasonable and the atmosphere was cool and laid back. I enjoyed my experience with the shop. They get 5 stars in my book.

The atmosphere was a little weird, but the piercing itself was done perfectly and the price was a lot more reasonable (in comparison to others). Steve Tucci did a great job, you can tell he knows exactly what hes doing! Very knowledgable and confident in his practice, and made sure I was good before it was done. Scott is, in short, a phenomenal conversationalist. Ive been tattooed at 2 other shops in the Raleigh area and the conversations I have had with my artists have seemed forced and uncomfortable. As far as the actual tattooing goes, I walked in with my idea and watched Scott sketch it out quickly and efficiently. Within 10 minutes we were on the table and laughing and chatting. The shop is clean, friendly and just a damn good spot to grab a piece. I will certainly come back and might be making his my shop of choice. Way to go guys.

Got my tattoos done with Scotty who is now helping me with the galaxy concept for my sleeve that I already started. He was very communicative with bouncing off ideas and providing suggestions which were awesome so Im excited to see where the tattoo goes. Double Deuce is a really great tattoo shop. I have been here twice and had an amazing experience both times. Scott is insanely talented and super easy going, AND he probably has the most gentle touch Ive ever experienced when being tattooed and I am probably 25% covered in tattoos, so Ive had my fair share of artists. While I was getting my tattoo my fiancé had the pleasure of Tooch helping him out with stretching his piercings and he experienced seriously almost no redness, you couldnt even tell! The shop is clean and theyre up front and honest and willing to answer any and all of your questions and their pricing is way beyond fair. Remember, you get what you pay for, and at double deuce I always feel like Im getting a total steal. Highly recommended for tattoos and piercings.

Double Deuce is the place to go for a REALLY GREAT TATTOO!!!I went to Double Deuce because my daughter had been there and had 3 awesome pieces done. I had been thinking of an idea for a tattoo for 3 or 4 years and finally went to Double Deuce and talked to Scott Russell to get the work done. Not only was this going to be an original tattoo it was also a cover up of a smaller tattoo of an Eagle that I did not think looked right. When Scott was done I had THE BADDEST super hero eagle tattoo you have ever seen!!!!! The colors are truly amazing and the shading is just off the charts!! I could go on and on about how awesome this tattoo is, but lets just say I already know what I am going to have done next and I will be back to see Scott REAL SOON!!!! I’ve gotten 5 of my piercings from Tooch at Double Deuce and I don’t know why I would go anywhere else. All of them have healed very well and quickly, his placement is always perfect and his piercings are almost painless. I’ve gotten my last few tattoos here and I have been very happy every time. My artist is usually Scott and he keeps everything clean and does amazing work! This is the only shop I will go to especially with covid they have taken extra precautions and I feel very good about going there even now.

I visited Double Deuce Tattoo earlier this evening and was totally impressed. The shop was clean, the people were super friendly, and the prices were really really good. Tooch did my tattoo (my very first tattoo ever!) and he made me feel completely comfortable the whole time. I showed him a drawing I had done of what I wanted to get and he took that and created something a million times better then what I had drawn. It came out looking better then I could ever have dreamed. I will definitely be back!!

Got my 4th tattoo (first in NC) from Scotty at double deuce. He did a great job and was very responsive and professional. He’s also a pretty funny dude which definitely helps with sitting for a tattoo. Will definitely go to him for my next piece.

I got my first tattoo in North Carolina from Scott and I love it. It was the best healing tattoo Ive ever had! When I wanted another tattoo, I returned to the shop and talked to all the guys there, getting all of their opinions. Not one minute did I feel pressured to get a tattoo and they were very honest about what would and wouldnt work instead of doing whatever I wanted regardless of logistics and how it would look in years to come. I eventually came up with a few random ideas Id hoped to throw into one tattoo (which I thought would be very difficult to do) and Derick did a fantastic job incorporating every element Id wanted into an awesome tattoo! My experiences with both Scott and Derick were great and I will not be going to another shop for any future tattoos!

Double Deuce is the only place Ill go for piercings and tattoos. I’ve gotten all 7 of my face piercings and 4 of my tattoos here and I am very happy with all of them. Everyone working here is a pleasure to talk to and work with. None of them have ever made me feel uncomfortable, rushed, or unworthy of their time. Everything is very clean and very well sterilized between each persons visit to the chair. Best experience and service Ive ever had at a tattoo/piercing joint and I plan to get any and all future work I want done here.

This is, by far, the best shop around. Ive been a customer of Scotts for years, after going to at least 3 other shops and FINALLY finding the right one in Double Deuce. The atmosphere is great, you walk in and someone actually talks to you, instead of treating you like just a customer. Scott will consult with you, and give honest opinions about what you want and what he thinks is best to get the best outcome for your tattoo. Ive had six pieces done by Scott over the course of the past year and Im on the schedule for my 7th. Ive spent close to 24 hours total sitting in the chair and have had a chance to get a good long look at Double Deuce. The staff is always courteous and helpful to myself and the people that I see walk in the door. As other reviewers have noted, the place is very clean and a safe environment is a top priority. Ive been in dentist offices that look worse.Ive had straight up stencils that Ive put together as well as original art done and in every case the output and quality of the work exceeded my expectations. Scott does a great job of making suggestions to turn any idea into a one of a kind work of art. He pays particular attention to the placement of each piece making it look like part of my body as opposed to something slapped on willy nilly. I recently had an opportunity to share his work with colleagues who specifically travel the world to get a piece done by so and so in such and such location. Dark and clean lines, sharp angles, and fine needle work made the Double Deuce tattoos stand out above all of the comparisons. Im not interested in color, but Ive seen some amazing color work done by the guy in the next booth over, Derek. If thats your thing, I dont think youd go wrong there.Overall, a great place for a first time experience or adding to your collection. My daughter is interested in some piercing and my son is talking about his first tattoo and should they choose to follow through on those ideas, Id point them right to Double Deuce.

Well let me begin by sharing that I was shopping for a cover-up tattoo. I visited a tattoo shop downtown Raleigh to inquire about my options. Lets just say the artist was not welcoming, he was dismissive, and gave me the overall impression that his business did not need my business at all. He also suggested starting from scratch with an altogether new tattoo to cover-up the one I had.I visited Double Deuce some days later because I noticed it in a shopping plaza I frequent. I met Scott. I met Scott. I met Scott. Some folks are just deal sealers that youd risk it all with. Scott was knowledgeable, he answered all my questions and he suggested that the tattoo be touched-up ONLY. I fell in love with him immediately because I am not a tatooey girl anymore. I got the tattoo done when I was 18 and never had it touched up. I only had that tattoo. He said Ill use the tattoo you have and embellish it. My embellishment will get rid of the portion you no longer want.Scott did an amazing job. He saved me. He enhanced my tattoo, made it pop and inked over the area I wanted gone. Hes amazing. I got a space shuttle tattoo on my forearm and it is fantastic I couldnt have asked for a better turn out! The artist Zane williard was really professional and was really cool to talk to during the process, the tattoo turned out beautiful, the lines and shading were extremely clean and well done! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great tattoo shop and artist.

I’ve had nothing but the best from the guys at Double Deuce. I initially went there about 3 years ago to get a train wreck on my arm fixed and the results were amazing. Scott did a super job recovering what I had and turning it into a wonderful piece. Since then my wife has gone to Double Deuce, Scott, to get a full back piece and it looks great. I have also integrated more work into the initial repair job and am on my way to having a full sleeve. These guys do more than tracing flash art onto skin. The staff has always been courteous, timely, and professional. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Double Deuce for any art work.

Great experience with Mike (Needlez). Based on the design idea I shared, he helped make sure placement and size were just right. Then, we were able to mix the perfect shade for the monochromatic look. This was my first tattoo, so Im grateful for his responsiveness to my questions leading up to the appointment. Also, the Covid protocols and general health and safety precautions were clear and clearly followed. Im sure this is the case no matter what year, but worth an extra mention in 2021.

This is what getting a tattoo is supposed to be like. Double Deuce is a clean establishment, with a very friendly staff. I met Errol, Tooch, and Scottie, all made me feel very welcome. Tooch was my tattoo artist today, he was fun, confident, and professional; he did a great job on my tattoo and my friends as well. While I was waiting my turn I had awesome conversation with Errol, who I will be returning to see (he has great interest in working with me on finishing an old Star Wars piece). Just got my first tattoo done here. Ive always gotten my tattoos by the same artist in NY so I was very weary of just going to anyone here. I was recommended by a friend and Im so happy I listened. Steve was awesome. He was so friendly and we had some great discussions lol Ive been getting compliments left and right on my tattoo. Steve is extremely talented and I cant wait to get my next one from him!

Ive been getting Tats for over 15 yrs from Baltimore, MD to around the Raleigh, NC area. My best and favorite work has been from here. The artist Scott not only does a great job but always makes me feel comfortable and welcome. The store is always clean and sanitary. I highly recommend over the other stores in the Triad.

Double Deuce is an amazing shop. All of the artists there are so laid back and will make you feel right at home. Ive been coming here since I was 16 and Tooch has done all of my piercings. His work is absolutely amazing and I refuse to go anywhere else to get a piercing. Recently I made the mistake of going price shopping for a tattoo and ended up with a really shitty first tattoo. I brought it in and not only did Tooch fix it and make it look amazing, but he also fixed up a portion of my finances tattoo as well! Im never going anywhere else for ink and Im so happy with the end result. I live 45 minutes away from the shop and the drive is totally worth it. I recommend this shop to everyone I know!

Came here for my first tattoo, a full spine, and was very pleased. Tooch and Scott were there to help me get the design down and Scott did an amazing job giving me what I wanted. The color and shading is gorgeous. The customer service was great and I will definitely be coming back here.

Both guys are extremely friendly and take the time to make sure everything is done right and to your liking. Both of my piercings (industrial and conch) from here were super easy and healed beautifully!

I can’t say enough great things about Double Deuce Tattoo in Cary. The shop’s owner Scott is amazing and the shop is as clean as a medical office. Earlier this year I had two pieces done by an artist who is no longer at the shop. I noticed some imperfections in the work. I called to speak to the artist and was informed he was no longer there; however Scott stood behind that artist work and fixed the concerns I had at no charge to me. I was very impressed with Scotts work and business practices. Not to mention Scott’s personality and humor keeps you from being bored while sitting in the chair for several hours.On Monday Scott started my sleeve. The work looks amazing. I have gotten so many compliment s on the piece and folks wanting to know who did the work. Scott did the piece using a rotary machine instead of the normal coiled tattoo machines. The pain was minimal, very little to no bleeding and no scabbing after four days. I am looking forward to finishing out my sleeve and starting on the other pieces I have envisioned with Double Deuce.

This is my second tattoo with Tooch. He did a great job both times. He soothed my first tattoo worries so we’ll i came back for a second one. He worked with me on the design all the way through the end. He made suggestions that were very good and I’m glad I listened to him about sizing, placement and shading. And he’s a nice guy to boot. I am going thru the hardest part of my life. Came in for the first time today. For a harry potter water color tattoo. Tattoo therapy is the best. Well what I got is beautiful. Its amazing. Kip did an amazing job. I will be back next month. He deffently made me become a client.

Scotty Nails is the bomb.com he has been working with me almost 2 years now to complete a sleeve and I can’t rave more about him. Honestly, I got 3/4 sleeve from The Legend himself Mr. Scotty! Without a doubt I’m coming back for more. Establishment was super clean. Precautions for COVID-19 completely enforced. I went yesterday for my first tattoo and have to say I had an AMAZING experience. The shop is so clean and everyone follows strict hygeine practices within the shop; always changing gloves, sanitizing tools, and having everything clean and ready to go for each customer.I was of course scared as this was my first tattoo but Scott handled it amazingly. He was willing to stop if I needed to and asked how I was doing and even told me for a first timer I was doing really well. He joked and helped me get my mind off of getting it done and the end result is AMAZING.What a great experience I had at DD and will be definitely returning for more ink in the future!

He went over the pros and cons and went out of his way to show me how clean the place was. He walked me through every step and the piercing didnt really hurt at all. My tattoo artist was Scotty Nails, and he was superb!!! He designed my tattoo to my specifications, and the actual application of the tattoo was virtually pain free!!! On a scale from 1-10, it was a 2. The most remarkable thing, is that I never had any bleeding, any bruising, and no scabbing. I have attached a picture that was taken 3 days from the day I received my tattoo and it looks OUTSTANDING!!! Praise the Lord, and give you business to Scotty!!! :-)

I got my first tattoo here a couple of weeks ago and couldnt be happier. I went in for a brief consultation with Tooch and set up an appointment that day. I had some issues with scheduling and Tooch was extremely helpful and worked with me to make it happen. On the day of, the process was great and he made it a breeze. The shop is very clean and the customer service is incredible. I highly recommend DD and Tooch to get the job done!

I went it for two piercings - my daith and my nose. Tooth took great care of me. Im terrified of needles, and he made me very much at ease. He talked me through everything as he was doing it, and sat and chatted with me afterward when I felt lightheaded. He gave me very clear instructions for aftercare and told me to come back in 8 weeks so he could make sure they were healing well. The studio was very clean, and he used very good aseptic technique. I was really happy with my entire experience!

I most definitely had the best experience Ive ever had with my piercings here. I got my nose pierced at a completely different shop and two days later, it fell out. I called this place at random and asked what I should do - Tooch had me come in to take a look at it, and took all of the time and care in putting the ring back into a basically closed piercing, with all of the care and persistence as if it was his own original piercing. Very clean, VERY friendly, with a lot of dedication and perseverance. Tooch also asked me to come back in to make sure it was healing correctly, making me feel as if he genuinely cared about the well-being of me and my new piercing. I will forever be coming back for any future piercings or tattoos!!!

I have gotten two helix piercings at Double Deuce from Tooch and both of them look great!! I have gone to many different places for piercings but no one has done as great of a job as Tooch has. He pierces very professionally and helps you feel more relaxed before the actual piercing. He also has an excellent eye for accurate spacing of piercings. I highly recommend this place! Tooch at Double Deuce is the BEST! I went to have my belly button pierced and upper part of my ear pierced and it could not have gone any better. I have had both these areas done before by an other local tattoo/piercing shop and there was no comparison. I am so glad that I chose to have it done again, this time by Tooch. He was patient, thorough, conscientious with a major focus on safety. I would highly recommend him for any piercing anywhere you are looking to do it.

Just had my first experience at Double Deuce getting a standard nostril piercing. Tooch walked me through every step, made me laugh to calm my nerves, and it was quick and painless (seriously I didnt feel a thing, but I know everyone is different). I was impressed that he really took his time finding the ideal location for the piercing, and Im really happy with the result. I would definitely go back.

I took my daughter in today to get her eyebrow pierced. The shop was very clean and orderly. This was her first piercing (besides her ears) and Tooch made her feel extremely comfortable. He was both professional and informative and explained every step. Highly recommend Tooch for your piercings!

So Ive been here to get several of my tattoos done by Errol, and Ive finally decided to leave a review. This is easily the best tattoo shop that i have ever been to, but i guess its not really about the shop. Its about the artists. Its about the art. Let me start by saying I didnt really want to leave a review because if people found out how good a of a tattoo artist Errol really is he would be booked out for months (at least). Errol has gone above and beyond on every tattoo Ive gotten and his art always comes out looking better than I even imagined (my imagination is pretty awesome too). Again, go get a tattoo by Errol, but dont take all the spots because i still have work i need to get done.

Tooch took very good care of me. He walked me through my piercing to ensure I understood what would take place and made sure I fully understood the aftercare process. Tooch was well educated on the process and answered all the questions I had. I highly recommend Double Decue Tattoo! All staff was kind and great to work with.

Ive had nothing but awesome interactions with Double Deuce and the amazing people who work there. I had a tattoo done by Greg and I absolutely love it. I showed him a picture of my idea and he did his own art right there for me. Stunning art and a real character, Greg did an amazing job on the art Ill have for the rest of my life. A few days later, I went in for a tongue piercing and I met Tooch. He looked at my tongue and was very up front and honest about telling me there wasnt really enough room for the piercing. I was disapponted of course, but I totally respected the honesty. I feel like a lot of piercing artists would just take the money and do the piercing and leave me unhappy, but Tooch was better than that. He asked if he could do something else and I went ahead and got my belly button done. He was kind, courteous, and professional the whole time and made me feel very comfortable. The guys at Double Deuce take great pride in their work and it really shows. Clean work areas, cool and professional environment, and awesome people, I HIGHLY recommend this place to all looking for great art and piercings.

Ive had work done at Double Deuce on two occasions. The first was by Scott and then again by Derick. Both were great and truly professionals. They worked with me to make sure I got the tattoo that I wanted and then they exceeded my expectations with the finished work! As long as these guys are around, I wont be going anywhere else.

I cant say enough good things about Tooch, and my experience at Double Duece. My daughter and I got tattoos done by Tooch, and not only was the shop very clean and the guys very welcoming, but the professionalism and great personality of Tooch was amazing. He makes you feel relaxed, has wonderful people skills, and is the consummate professional. He is so precise and conscientious with his work. He genuinely cares about his work, cleanliness, and your happinesss with his work. This place and the guys here are the best and we will definitely be returning!

Tooch was very informative about the tragus piercing I received. He kept the atmosphere light and funny. Didnt have an appointment but he fit me in. We will be back for future tattoos and piercings. Personable and professional staff. Very clean shop.

A few girlfriends and got nose and ear piercings. Tooch was very patient, gentle and took the time to answer our questions. We have gone back for follow up visits and to have nose jewelry changed. He has always been very nice and helpful. Great for first timers!

Not friendly in the slightest Christina did my tat and she was the most polite out of them all. She did a good job but not Interested in post tattoo care or touch up advice. Call to make an about me to get a touch up because I slightly scratched it while I was sleeping and they told me that because I was picking and scratching at it they wouldnt touch it up for free. Wouldnt go back if they paid me.

Guys are great and the artists do incredible work.Mike did an amazing job on me. If you need a great tatt, my advice double deuce tattoo is where you wanna go.

I went to Double Deuce for a new piercing. I had been there for tattoos in the past - which came out great. Steve (Tooch) walked me through the process and was extremely clean and very conscious about keep a sterile field. I would highly recommend.

The people here are so nice! I got my belly button pierced here and they went through all the precedures of cleaning it and made sure I knew what to do and told me to come back and they could change it out for me. I got my tragus pierced at Romantic Torture (super sketchy and a horrible place) and the ring fell out within 2 days. A guy working Tooch put in a new earring for me and was super helpful and nice! Double Deuce is an amazing place and I highly recommend it!

I would highly recommend this place. I got a conch piercing, and it was the best place to go. Tooch, the piercer, was very kind, and he showed me everything I needed to see and told me everything I needed to know. He let me ask all my questions beforehand, and he was extremely sanitary and careful with the piercing. I am 16, and havent had a piercing since my lobes when I was 8. Tooch made me feel totally at ease and confident during the whole thing. I am so excited to go back for more!

Got a great tattoo from Kip. He took a design I sent him and made it work exactly the way I pictured it. And for a more than reasonable price. I will definitely be back for my next one.

Went and had a daithe piercing done to hopefully get rid of my migraines. Tooch was very knowlegeable and explained everything as we went through the process. I have not had a migraine since! I am very pleased with their service and professionalism.

I went last night to get my ears re-pierced. Tooch was the artisan who did the work. He is one of those genuinely good people, those rarities that you dont often come across. He was meticulous in making sure the piercings were symmetrical in each ear, that I liked the placement, and he included every single step of the process. His sanitary practices were spot on, and I could tell he very much cares for people and what he does in his job. Lastly, before I left he informed that they do not take credit cards, and I never carry cash on me. He did point out an ATM to me, but I purposefully never learned my pin, (a bit of good self control there). So he told me to come back today with the money! I felt very weird about leaving without some sort of compensation but he wouldnt accept even a check for the amount until i came in today. He paid me a huge compliment saying You seem like an honest guy, you are not gonna just run If we all could be that trusting, and never betray that trust, how much better a world would we be in? I got my first tattoo today from here. I really liked the vibes when i walked in. Zane helped me out finding the right font for my Disney tattoo. I am absolutely in love with it. He did an awesome job.

I got a portrait piece done of my 1yr old son. Scotty was prompt and the parlor was spotless. With that being said, the portrait of my son that Scotty did was spot on!! I highly recommend Double Duece!!!!!

I have been tatted here twice by scott. Great experience and very chill atmosphere. When i moved to nc a few years back i couldnt find a shop with a chill vibe and overall great people. But double duece has all of that. As soon as I walked in tooch made me feel more than welcome. I definitely will be back for more work here.

I went in for a lip piercing and to get something new for my left ear, and got this sick corkscrew looking jewlery for it. Had Tooch taper my left ear and install the screw and pierce my lip, definitely going back for a few more and looking into some tattoos in the near future. Chill atmosphere and helpful with questions even.

Tooch and all the other guys there are very welcoming, down to earth and overall hilarious. My friend and I always go in and its such a pleasure. Its my favorite shop around. Ive been to other places and had awful experiences that resulted in me having to come to double deuce to fix the problem. Aside from being a very funny and sweet guy, Tooch is very professional.
