He is such a highly skilled artist that he could do what we wanted with his eyes closed, but he honored the fact that this was a big deal for us and helped us feel relaxed, comfortable and like valued customers. 5-star rating from us! ❤️

Edited to add - Rich has done 4 of my tattoos now and reworked 3 old ones to make them brighter and cleaner. This last one is just stellar (photo attached). I will be going back to add color. The fine lines are just phenomenal.Rich is the only artist we use for our work! We can always trust him to put our ideas into art. I always have a very unique piece to love. The shop is exceptionally clean. We love Rich and will never use any other artist!

It was an absolutely great experience from beginning to end.I needed advice on a coverup. Id never had a tattoo covered before, so I knew nothing about what needed to be considered. Of the 8-10 shops and artists I contacted, Rich was literally the only one who explained my options and answered questions via email before scheduling an actual appointment. He also had appointments available before 2022 which was fantastic. I was really looking to get my old tattoo covered ASAP. Plus, he is clearly a great artist. I had no complaints about his coverup design; he nailed it in one.The shop was very clean and we both wore masks the whole time. I felt very good about the whole experience and so far the tattoo has been healing well. Prices felt very reasonable to me. Highly recommend!Rich did the cauldron with the ghost!

I had a consultation and my first of two sessions. I have never felt more at ease in trusting a tattoo artist. Rich is an affable, talented artist who maintains a clean environment. I felt minimal pain and am really happy with my work so far.

The ONLY place I’ll go for ink. Rich has done almost all of my right arm sleeve. His shop is spotless and incredibly clean. His demeanor is professional, courteous, and funny. Rich’s work is phenomenal. I researched artists for over a week and came across Rich’s portfolio and sought him out while he was at his former shop. After my first session with him, he had a customer for life. Cant recommend RTP tattoo lab enough, if you want work done, this is the shop.

Rich is one of the most talented tattoo artists around. Im so happy I found him. So far Hes created eight pieces of art for me and his talent seems to increase with each piece. Im very much into color & Richs shading and color choices really make my pieces pop. He also is able to look at the bigger picture so every tattoo is in proportion with the other so everything flows just beautifully. It also doesnt hurt that Rich is easy to work with, open to complete collaboration and has a nice musical playlist. I always look forward to getting more work done with Rich because I know Im going to walk away happy.

Rich is by far the best tattoo artist out there today and happens to be a great guy! He has the atmosphere to allow you to sit back, relax, and get some new ink and not have to worry about anything. He is very gentle compared to other artists I have worked with. Talent? Just look at the pictures of his work. Cleanliness? My doctor’s office isn’t as clean as his (for real). He is obsessed about making sure his office and equipment are clean. I love that no one else is allowed in the shop while you getting your work done during the Pandemic. Phenomenal talent and professionalism.

I had been putting off having my tattoo fixed for years. Rich was recommended to me and decided to reach out. I had a tattoo of black text that had bled/blurred on my ribs. I loved the tattoo but it was no longer legible and I knew it was likely not salvageable and cover-ups are typically challenging. I didnt know exactly what I wanted. I asked for something floral to cover, rewrite the text, and add a lady bug. Rich put together the rest and was able to come up with a beautiful tattoo to cover up the previous. There was some scar tissue to work around and the previous tattoo was still fairly dark. Despite this you cant tell that it is a cover up. Its not too dark and I cant even tell where the original tattoo was. The tattoo session went very fast despite being 2.5 hours. Rich is professional, humourous, chatty, and just generally easy going. Having similar senses of humor, he had me cracking up and made me feel relaxed and at ease the whole appointment. Rich was usually quick to respond to email, but dont worry if it takes a bit - hell get back to you. I left very happy with my tattoo and Ill surely be back if I decide to add another.

I guess we all get our tattoos for different reasons. Losing my husband is what brought me to Rich’s door. I was 51 and had never been inked, but he was easy to talk to and understood the need. His place is clean with cool music and a comfortable chair. I’ve gotten three tattoos in five months and can’t recommend him enough.

I have traveled to various states over the years and rarely plan a road trip that doesnt involve a stop in NC to get another tattoo from Rich. Ill start by saying that Rich is a class act. My first experience with Rich was at Warlocks a little over a year ago - I had just moved to the area and was going from shop to shop trying to find a new artist. I ended up choosing Rich because of his laid back personality and obvious professionalism. I cant say enough positive things about Rich and this shop. I recently had my first piece done by Rich, after receiving strong recommendations for his work.The shop is easy to get to off I-40 (just a couple of turns), and sits in a little strip shopping center. Rich immediately puts you at ease--he is amiable but obviously also professional. The shop is very clean and has some Star Wars artifacts and posters along the walls (a major plus in my book).Rich is very willing to chat or make small talk while working on your tattoo, and has lots of great stories, but is also fine with silence. He walked me through the prep stuff he did, just because I was curious. I could not be happier with how Rich did my tattoo, and he is the only number I am calling whenever I want to get my next piece done.

My forever tattoo artist! Rich is fantastic at what he does. I have 5 pieces completed by him, totaling 8 sessions so far. I have never had to second guess his placement or advice. His studio was always extremely clean prior to COVID, and he is somehow even CLEANER during COVID. I think it’s also important to note that during COVID, Rich has not allowed extra people in the studio, and as a female, he has never me feel unsafe or uncomfortable in any way. He is very professional, has great respect for people, and has pride in his talented works of art. Will recommend again and again!

This is my second piece done by Rich. Both are excellent quality. One is 6 years old and still very detailed. Hes light-handed and isnt going to drag through your skin. Rich has been my Tattoo Artist for many years. He always makes me feel relaxed and comfortable. I’m always extremely happy with his work!

Ive had 3 tattoos done by Rich now and Ill never go anywhere else. I was stuck on what I wanted to complete my half sleeve and trusted Rich to design and tie everything together. Cant recommend Rich enough! Cant wait for my next one.

I almost made a terrible mistake.... For a split second I thought I was capable, and that it was a good idea, to go somewhere other than to see Rich for a tattoo. But I came to my senses because I was about to have a nervous breakdown at the thought of someone else putting a needle to my skin. Rich is the sh!t, that is a fact.
