Atom was amazing, I was super nervous to get my nipples pierced. He made everything super comfortable and sterile. He was very patient to answer all my questions prior and overall made me feel so much more comfortable. He explained everything so thorough and even showed me the needle in the package to confirm that it was sterilized. Atom spent the time to make sure the piercings were clean, parallel, and most importantly that I was comfortable and satisfied with it; needless to say, he also got me in the same day! Thank you so much Atom!

Went here a couple years ago with one of my best friends to spontaneously get her nose done. Atom was so sweet and helpful in educating her where the best placement was for her nose and so that she could change it to a hoop later. He was so awesome that I knew whenever I’d come to visit Iowa again (I’m from Seattle) that I would get a piercing from him!Today I got two piercings, because he had so many cool pieces to offer that I couldn’t just choose one. He was very educational again and helped me decide exactly where I wanted to put my pieces. The room you get pierced in has all kinds of styles of art to look at to help calm you down and distract you while you get pierced.Lastly, he accidentally overcharged me for what I got, and honestly I wouldn’t have even known, but he caught me right as I was leaving and gave me back the difference. He’s a very kind and honest man and I can’t recommend him enough for all your piercing needs. My friend also came in today and got a really fun ear piercing and we are both over the moon about our piercings 🌙

Went in last weekend and got three piercings with Atom and he was the best to work with. Not only am I in love with how all my piercing turned out and how theyre healing so far but his professionalism and how he conducted himself was just the best. We worked on a more private area and he made me very comfortable and did an amazing job explaining the process step by step as well as instructions for care and the healing process and when to come back to resize the jewelry. My husband was with me and he was so impressed with the entire experience too! 10 out of 10, will do it again!

I got my tongue pierced here a couple days ago by Atom and he was so cool, he walked me through all the steps as he was piercing. He also gave me time after to breathe and settle in before explaining aftercare! I would definitely recommend for someone getting a first time piercing :)

I have been wanting to get snakebites (two lip piercings) done for a long time and was honestly a bit hesitant after moving to the area when it came to finding a new piercing shop. Atom pierced me about two months ago and everything is healing up great. Setting up an appointment was very easy and they had a huge emphasis on making it at a time where I could get undivided attention, which should be a regular occurrence, but seems to be a harder find nowadays. Atom was extremely thorough in explaining the process to me, making me comfortable, and sterilizing everything, and took a lot of time making sure my lip piercings would be lined up correctly and in a location that looked good. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured to say that they “looked” okay. Pricing was extremely reasonable, and you are paying for internally threaded body safe titanium which is a necessity for any new piercing (regardless of what other people tell you). I definitely had a bit of confusion about my resizing appointment and wish that had been set up at my original, but honestly that was probably more of a lack of communication on my part because after the piercing jitters settled I was ready to get home. Atom made sure to find time for me to come in and get resized anyways as my swelling went down, even on a day where he seemed to be busy. Definitely going to be the place I recommend friends and customers at my job to. Only heard good things about Ritual from other people and they for sure lived up to it.

We really appreciated Atom taking the time to do our walk in piercings. He was very knowledgeable, gentle, and kind. He was able to do 6 piercings between three people with precision, cleanliness, and care. Highly recommend going here for your piercing needs!

I took my daughters in the other day to get their first piercings. Atom was absolutely amazing! He walked them through step by step and made sure to let them know everything he was doing and planned to do! He did such a good job that they said “mom it literally didn’t even hurt!” 😂 I also got my tongue redone & I’ve had zero issues! I have been a customer of Atom’s for several years and have 5+ piercings that were done by him at Ritual. This shop is the only place in the area that I have found such high quality jewelry. I have had several of my beautiful pieces in for YEARS, since the day I got them, and none of them have ever irritated my body or become green/rusted. I always joke that the jewelry I purchase from here will outlive me - but it might be true! Matt did an excellent job on my most recent piece and I am looking forward to being a forever customer as long as this shop is around.

Atom is the best piercer ever. We brought our 9 year old to get her first ear piercings and our 13 year old to get seconds. He was very kind to them and to us; it’s clear he has done this MANY times! Everything was one-use and sterile. I’ve never seen someone so conscientious about measuring placement. (He used calipers to be sure they were even!) The actual piercing was expertly done and fast. He went over after-care in detail and showed us how to do it. Our 9 year old was very nervous, and he made the experience go perfectly.Tl;dr he is awesome; I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Actually myself and some family members were walk ins today. They found the time to take us right away for some nose piercings and tattoos! Both gentleman, (Atom, and Adam) were very friendly, interesting and so nice. Another co-worker there was also very interesting and friendly! Thank you all!

I had a great experience here! Atom is very knowledgeable about piercings and the whole process was quick and as comfortable as a piercing can be! He made sure I saw that the needle was sterile, that I was happy with where the piercing would be, and that I was comfortable afterwards. He also played music during the piercing and there was a lot of art to look at in the room, so as someone who is squeemish around needles, I felt like he kept my mind occupied. I took my sister here for her belly button piercing and Adam was the BEST! He explained every step of the process. He made sure my sister was comfortable at all times and told her before he did anything. He also did a wonderful job of explaining the different jewelry for her to make the best decision. I’ve never had a better experience for a piercing! Not only that, but the shop was very clean and cute inside! They also use an autoclave for their tools which is a huge plus! We will be back!

The guy that does all of my friends piercings is the best! My friend was feeling a bit light-headed and he walked all the way to kwikstar to grab her something to drink! The way he treats us is so professional and hes super generous when helping out with piercings or tattoos!

Id gone with a co worker and her daughter to get her ears pierced. I brought my daughter along so she could see the process. My daughter decided she wanted her done too. I loved my experience! I got my daith and doubles pierced and they look so pretty! Adam understood that I had a budget and helped me find affordable options. Called to see availability on doing a piercing. The gentleman on the phone was extremely friendly and asked a few questions such as type of piercing, age of client, and if they had any special jewlery in mind. After discussing a bit, I was pleased to hear that they could put me in the schedule that day. When I arrived, they were very professional and friendly. The entire process of the piercing took maybe 10 minutes at most. Atom was very knowledgeable on cleaning and aftercare procedures. The price was a bit higher than other places, but the quality of jewelry and piercing process shows why they deserve to make the money they do. Very pleased. I would recommend Ritual to anyone looking to get a piercing. Remember, cheap piercings arent good, and good piercings arent cheap!

I spent a lot of time deciding where to go to get my nostril piercing. I ended up going here. It was great! I have only ever had my ears pierced, so the person who does piercings, Atom, was very careful and explained everything to me. Everything was very clean and nice. There are lots of jewelry colors and sizes. Highly recommend.

My friend and I called super impromptu and they were very understanding and got us in. We went and there were so many good vibes and Adam did our piercings and he was literally the best ever. Visited Atom twice in two days. My 8 year old daughter was determined that she was ready for her ears to be pierced. Made an appointment for Friday. She was ready up until she sat down. He explained everything to us, and didnt talk down to her. Was seriously so patient and laid back. We left with the expectation that she could come back when she was ready. Came back today and took our chances as a walk in. He made time for us, and again was very chill and up-beat. She was nervous, but more relaxed I think knowing what to expect. Shop is nice and clean, and Atom was beyond awesome with my daughter and her sister who tagged along to watch. Very satisfied.

Ritual is absolutely stunning! Adam keeps it spotless and sanitary and more aesthetically pleasing than any other piercing place around. Hes the most knowledgeable piercer around here. Hes very kind and sweet and passionate about his craft. Its not about the money to Adam, and thats THE BEST. I dont go anywhere else to satiate my piercing desires. Nor to get the quality jewelry Adam is known for.

I went in to get my nose pierced and my friend had recommended here after she got her cartalige done. I’ve gotten many piercings before so I know the drill, but they still talked me through everything and told me what he was doing when he was doing it. He was very kind and I am very happy with the outcome. I would greatly recommend coming here.

Got an eyebrow piercing done here. Adam was pretty chill and the piercing was quick so no complaints there, but my piercing ended up sinking into my skin from the swelling a week later so I had to go to another piercer (cause I’m in a diff state) and they told me that the jewelry was too small for a first time piercing so they had to switch it to a bigger bar so it wouldn’t reject, which costed me $20 on top of the $50 I spent to get it done. kinda mad about that but nevertheless, he pierced it in a nice spot, it was quick and painless, and he explained to me how to care for it so
