Eternal Tattoo & Body Piercing - Columbus

Everyone is always so welcoming no matter if you are there for a tattoo or piercing. Sierra was wonderful when piercing my daughter’s ears. She was so calming and explained step by step to my daughter to make her feel more comfortable. Rylee was so professional and made the tattoo process seamless. He did incredible line work and delivered exactly what I wanted. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Sierra does an excellent job. She pays attention to detail and explains everything well, both to parents and kids. My daughters have both had their ears pierced by her and I wont take them anywhere else. The professionalism, kindness and patience she gives to her clients is phenomenal and makes for a great experience!

I highly recommend Eternal Tattoo in Columbus, Nebraska for your next tattoo. Cole has done a few pieces for me and my wife and each walked away blown away by Cole’s work. I had all my tattoos and piercings done here. I think it is safe to say I am a life time customer. Matt absolutely nailed my sleeve and Sierra has always made the piercing process a breeze. I would recommend this shop to anyone young, old, just starting, or continuing their journey.

Cole did an amazing job. More than I even imagined. He took my ideas and listened to the smallest details I described, and even added in ideas of his own, which made it so much better. This was for someone very dear to me that I lost. It captures his personality to a tee.

Edit to Add: As mentioned below, the rating is on the shop experience and us being uncomfortable and frustrated. That being said, I want to directly address some of the things brought up in the response below. “Dude where’s my car” and “ I am number 4” are not family friendly programming. Yes we were notified 3 separate times about not letting our child enter the back area. He never once went in the back, he stayed in the lobby, went on walks, and played outside. The last 30-45min is when Sierra offered our son some fruit snacks and a toy. The first time we were really talked to. Considering he sat for 4hrs we think he did pretty well. I tried to pay out when one of us was done so we could leave and take him away but was told no a few different times. It just sucks as we felt like such an inconvenience. Unfortunately, since we drove 10+hrs into town we were not able to make other accommodations for our son since we got these tattoos in between visitation times at the hospital. Knowing the situation and still being talked to as we were/lack there of was odd.The girl at the front desk was one of the biggest issues. The way she talked to and about a CHILD, the tone and rudeness when my other sister in law told her she wasn’t 100% on the exact placement yet because she wanted to see where it would fit within her other tattoos. She told her she wanted it on her arm but needed to see the stencil before deciding and was told “well you need to figure it out because when you get back there you can’t waste the artists time trying to decide on placement. He’ll put the stencil on and start.” When she told me AND my husband to go to the back even though I wouldn’t be tattooed for another hour, and our son started to cry “well, if it’s going to be that big of deal you can just wait.”As I mentioned in my original review we really appreciate the all hands on deck approach from the artists in getting all of done and Matt, being on deck to step in had we needed it. Unfortunately the cons of our experience greatly overshadowed the pros.It’s been a little over a week and some of our tattoos have lines that aren’t connected, are extremely dark, and shading that was not what people wanted. I personally had Dano, he was awesome!! Dano helped my sister in law and I feel comfortable and calm. He talked me through everything and didn’t make me feel bad when I asked for a different placement of my tattoo. This shop was one of her favorites and we were excited to not only get a tattoo for her but also in one of her go to places. Just a bummer it wasn’t a better experience/memory.Original Review:This review is based on the shop experience and not the artists we worked with. This place doesn’t like kids. We have never been to a place that was so negative to having our kid with us. While I was in the back getting my tattoo the front desk women looked at my sister in law and said “if he’s going to be continuing to cry or make noise you need to take him outside. There are people in the back experiencing pain and others trying to focus.” First of all, inappropriate and could have been said differently. Second of all, if there was a problem with having kids there we should have been told upon arrival. And Lastly, come tell the parents of the child. We were there getting tattoos for our family member who just got moved into hospice, each person was charged a different price. Even people with the same artist. The pricing was inconsistent. My husband and I were both done and were ready to pay out but couldn’t because the artist wouldn’t release the pay info and the front desk lady wouldn’t go ask. Which resulted in having to keep our kid at the shop even longer. The reason I did 2 stars and not 1 is because they were able to accommodate all of us and allow us to get our memorial tattoos together and all in the same day.

I have been to Eternal two times and have not been disappointed either time. I just recently got a memorial tattoo done by Cole B, and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. It is so deeply detailed and better than I had invisioned. His skill for art and tattooing is nothing short of amazing.

Everyone there was very kind and the artist did an amazing job. I feel honored by how well the tattoo came out. Also, dont watch the movie Splice.

Saw Sierra yesterday evening to get my conch piercing done! She made the process so easy and comfortable!

Love love love love love this place!!! Dano is an AMAZING tattoo artist. I mean look at it. Incredible! The other tattoo artists are super nice and it’s just a really fun environment. This is the only place you should be getting a tattoo. Their tattoos speak for themselves. Be prepared to wait a month or two to get in because they are booked up, but I promise it’s worth it.

Professional and welcoming. Very laid back. Clean! Took my son to get his ears pierced and got my nose done at the same time. Fantastic job! Excellent education for my son! Went back this weekend for a tattoo and Ashley blew me away! She took the time to research what she was drawing up for me. I didnt expect such attention to detail on a walk in tattoo. Will definitely be back for bigger pieces in the future. Very excited they will be offering more permanent makeup options soon as well!

Overprice and every time I get a tattoo from eternal turns out not great and they can’t get the correct matching colors right for a touch up.

Got a couple piercings done by Sierra and she was SOOO good. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Gave me in depth instructions on how to care for them. It was just a great experience!

I got a handwriting tattoo on my forearm from Cole and he was awesome!! Super friendly and so helpful. The place was so clean, all of the people were so helpful and kind.

This place is full of talent. No matter what artist you choose to go to, you can’t choose wrong. I have had 6 tattoos done at Eternal and they have all been done so perfectly. The artists I have worked with have all been very personable and accommodating. They will be my tattoo place forever.

Piercer changed out piercing another shop had done because of extreme discomfort. She gave proper instructions and was polite and very professional. Definitely knew what she was doing! Cant say the same for the other parlor

Every time I have been to Eternal has been a very positive experience. Sierra is a fantastic piercer! I have had a few done by her and she is very knowledgeable, patient and thorough. I have seen her work with young children and she is great with them as well! The shop is clean and everyone is very professional and fun to work with.

Eternal is the only place I’ll EVER go for any of my piercings. Sierra is by far the greatest piercer out there, during the prep time Sierra talks to you and tells you how she is going to approach everything. She also reminds you that it’s okay to be scared and that it’s okay for it to hurt. She has great placement. The overall environment at Eternal is amazing! Everything is thoroughly cleaned and sterilized.Highly Recommend!! 🤩

Sierra gave me beautiful piercings and put me fully at ease during my appointment. Not only that but her availability and eagerness to help with post-care questions has been amazing. Aftercare concerns are inevitable and she has been so amazing guiding me and supporting me so i have confidence in the health and healing of my piercings. 10/10 recommend!!!

Ive had tattoos and piercings done by the phenomenal team at Eternal. Ive always had a wonderful experience with a group that has made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. My art has continued to stay beautiful and I receive compliments constantly. My piercings are amazing as well. Theyre always ready and willing to answer any questions about the process and aftercare as well. I will always come back here. No doubt.

Jake Harmon, I cant stress this enough. If you are looking for a masterpiece, a piece of art, or even something more than that I urge you to check out Jake from Eternal. Not only was he very considerate, helpful and more than happy to accommodate my needs as a canvas. He went above and beyond my expectations by turning them into a reality. Jake is by no means an apprentice. After having him work on me and seeing how he puts so much love, compassion and detail into his work. I cannot help but smile whenever I look at my new piece. Excellent people and vibe! Love the crew here! I have had several tattoos done here and almost all of my piercings. Sierra is an amazing piercer with the utmost professionalism and ability to deal with the littlest of babies to adults. The comeraderie within the shop is an amazing feeling.

Before covid they would do walk-in saturday’s and even though me and my friend came outside of the walk in hours the wonderful piercer Sierra pierced us both! I bruise pretty bad with tattoos and piercings and Sierra was super helpful and answered all my questions via instagram! She is an amazing piercer and goes the extra mile for all her clients!! I already plan on booking a piercing appointment with eternal again!!! Amazing clean environment and the staff is helpful while you choose jewelry and they don’t rush you! I can not say enough good things about this place! Worth the 45 minute drive for me!

Very friendly staff, cleanest studio around. Well worth the drive from Norfolk to have anything done! Sierra knows her stuff and is very professional, fast and gentle! I recommend them to everyone for tattoos and piercings.

Ive gotten pierced there a few time already and the piercer Sierra is so sweet and she always makes me feel comfortable! I have an appointment for my first tattoo in a few months and I cant wait to meet more of the kind hearted people there! I hope to one day even apprentice there under Sierra!!!

Very clean and friendly. My artist was Brandon, and he made my experience a very positive one. The materials he used were all wrapped until he needed them. I am convinced its why I healed so quickly and with no issues. Highly recommend.

Sierra is an amazing piercer!! I was nervous to get my nipples pierced, but she made the process very comfortable! I will definitely go back to Sierra for more piercings in the future and refer my friends to go to her also!

I chose to do a walk-in for my small foot tattoo. Everybody I spoke to was amazing. Their system for walk-ins is pretty easy. You sign in and then you can go about your business in town until they text you. If there are too many people ahead of you they give you a call as as soon as they can and are very polite. I would highly recommend Eternal for any tattoo or piercing needs.

I got my septum pierced today with my sister. Made the trip from Norfolk because Ive heard great things about this place The lady who did it was fantastic, was great with us and was super friendly. I love the end result of my piercing, and I would definitely come back to get more piercings done in the future.

Eternal is a must if you want a tattoo. Allen is my go to and I highly recommend him. Their Shop is clean, friendly, and comfy. They do a good job with the surroundings and the atmosphere.

Amazing artists! Have had at least 5 pieces done with Dano and they are amazingly detailed. Ive also gone in for a variety of piercings and the artists have always been friendly and very helpful.

I have had several tattoos done here, but a big life changer for me was getting my nose pierced! Even though it was something I wanted, I was so scared and Sierra put me at ease during the whole process. I highly reccomend getting any piercing done by her. If you live outside of Columbus, its totally worth the drive!

Brandon has done such a fantastic job on my cousins memorial tattoo. I have had so many compliments already and still have some parts to finish. Am so excited to finish it. Then also work with him on my next piece!

Always great customer service. They all do beautiful work- tattoos and piercings. If theres a piece of jewelry youre interested in that isnt currently in stock, theyll put in a special order and call you when its in! The shop is always clean. Recommend 15/10.

I really like this shop, and I dont know if it was an off day but Sierra pierced my belly button crooked saying that my stomach made it look that way. I went to a new body piercing shop and was told to take it out, wait for it to heal, and they would re-pierce it correctly. Saddest money ever spent. :/

I never walk in feeling insecure because whether it’s me getting a new piercing or a new tattoo wherever on my body, I know for a fact that it’s going to turn out beyond amazing and I’ll never have any complaints! Ive had three different artist tattoo me and Im proud and in love with each of them. All the staff here is great whether your getting tattoos or piercing. Ive recommended this place to family and friends for the past 3 years and never regret that I do.

Got a tattoo years ago and was kinda disappointed that tattoo guy got impatient because my skin wasnt taken ink well so he started digging a little harder at the inside of stars than he did at tips and it scared than didnt hold color in those spots. However around same time got piercings and they were done awesome. Wanted to take my daughter to get piercing but the person who does piercings is only there til 10-530 which doesnt work when you also work days.

Currently waiting for a walk in. I was told that it was first come first served and people started showing up with numbers on a sticky note even though I had been waiting in line. Apparently someone let in 8 people before they even opened. I find this extremely unfair, I arrived there at the same time as those people they were just let in at 9 before the place even opened. They’ve put me on a waiting list and I’ll update if I end up getting called in or not.

I’ve gotten a couple tattoos and piercings done here and I’ve been nothing but impressed. They do an amazing job designing your tattoo to make sure it’s perfect. The staff is so kind and helpful

Dano is everything Ive been looking for in an artist. I met him at a tattoo expo in St Louis. I was honored to receive a beautiful dia de los muertos work of art and and couldnt be more happy with how it turned out. I live in St Louis and will be traveling to Columbus for more work. 7 hours and 14 minutes is how long it will take me to get there and I will be passing up hundreds of tattoo shop along the way. That is how good these guys are. I hear they are opening a new shop in Omaha! Thank you Eternal Tattoo team for a great experience!

I needed a piercing changed I tried to make an appointment they told me to come on in as a walk-in, I was in and out in under 5 minutes. The staff was friendly pricing was great.
