Sanitation - you can smell it when you walk in. 🤩 this place is CLEAN. I researched forever to find a reputable piercer who was also an APP member. I knew I was in good hands when I met Pam and her apprentice Mars. Pam did the piercing and was sweet, professional, and patient with all the questions I and my friend had. I had brought in my husband and a friend when I got my lobes pierced. She marked and remarked my ears until all 4 of us were happy with placement. Had minimal pain during the process. Then I was sent off with saline, candy, and thorough after care instructions. It’s been 1.5 weeks and my healing is going well!! Would 100000% recommend to anyone wanting an amazing piercer.

Had a wonderful experience here with my adult daughter. We meet Genie, Steven and Maria. Shop was very well organized and all the staff and artists were all very nice and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back soon. Theyre actually having an event Sept 28th to raise money for the Dallas Library and raise awareness of book banning! My daughter and myself plan on attending this event also!

Got tattooed by this super epic dude named Ethan aka * fosho.tat2 *. He does a lot of traditional Japanese type of stuff which is why I came to him but he has this almost sketchbook type of style to how he draws things which makes it beyond unique. Gotten a couple pieces by him now and it’s always been banger after banger. For the place itself it’s very welcoming and accepting and I enjoy talking to everyone there every single time I go in which is what I look for especially in tattoo studios. Could write an essay about how dope this place is.

LOVE THIS SHOP!! I was in yesterday to see my regular artist, Ryan. My first time at this new shop for him. The place is incredible. So much space to sit and lounge around, the artists have such creative booths, the vibe is immaculate. The place is very clean and comfortable without sacrificing any space or artist creativity in their stations. Every artist that came in and said hello was super friendly. This place is dripping with talent, cannot recommend this place enough.Whether you book with my guy Ryan or any of the incredible artists in the building, you will be very well taken care of.

Original review Jan’23: I’ve had 21 piercings done over the years by 9 different piercers. Pamela was BY FAR my favorite. The shop is clean. Pamela is kind, patient, and informative, sending you home with a brochure on caring for the piercing. I love that she takes online appointments and credit cards. It’s also extremely comforting that she is apart of APP (Association of Professional Piercers.) I highly trust her and intend to return!Update Apr’24: I went back and got three more piercings (1 conch & 2 flats) from Pam today. She again demonstrated such a wonderfully patient and kind nature throughout the entire appointment. I have zero qualms driving an hour from where I live in order to go to someone as good as Pam. She is 100% worth visiting again!!!

I cannot recommend this place enough! The location is lovely, and the people are amazing. I went with my friend, and we both agreed Midgard was one of the best experiences we’ve had getting a tattoo. As soon as we walked in, we were blown away by how nice the studio is. Its clean and has amazing vibes, and the staff are all incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. My tattoo was done by Molly, and throughout the process between booking and the actual tattoo she had wonderful communication, was incredibly friendly, and equally as talented!

I’ve been tattooed by numerous artists here and at their sister studio Valkyrie, and I have had nothing but positive experiences. Every artist I’ve worked with, most recently Marie and Beau, has been patient, understanding, and enthusiastic, and the work has been excellent. I even took my mom here to get her first tattoo at age 60! I would absolutely recommend Midgard to anyone looking to get tattooed in DFW.

Pam is amazing, super quick and easy and they ask your pronouns before they talk to you so they know how to address you. Midgard is amazing about respecting boundaries, and I never felt unconformable. I have recommended people there over and over, for good reasons.

I never take the time to do these reviews but honestly Molly has been the best artist to work with for my tattoos! She is super sweet, kind, made sure I was always taken care of and went above and beyond. She captured exactly what I was thinking of when I explained my tattoo to her. I visited her again during a sale and we talked about how a bunch of her other regulars were stopping by for her. 10/10 service and great experience, thank you for being awesome Molly 🫶

We got my daughter’s belly button pierced here. It was her second time and she was worried that it would hurt more.I believe she has chosen the best place to get this done. The person attending us was knowledgeable and very patient. She explained everything to her. Even the future choices she should make when choosing the right piercing for the bellybutton. We had a great experience, we listened to their advice on after care and had no issues whatsoever.I also would like to add my own experience, I asked them to pierce my ear. Finding out I recently had some problems with my tooth, they recommended I should wait for some more time. This built up more trust on my end, for sure.Thank you MidgardWe will be back👍

This place is AMAZING! I’ve had one piercing here (Pamela is super sweet and crazy knowledgeable) and tattooed by 4 of the artists here (Willow, Dani, Aida and Genie). Everyone is amazing and so in love with what they do. It’s a warm, safe place to be and I love walking through the door every time. I have zero interest in going somewhere else. ❤️

I love the pin up ethan did on my calf. hes got a light hand and his coloring is beautiful. hes super sweet and can tell he is passionate with his work. he pays close attention to details. cant wait to get more done !!

Its a professional, safe, and clean environment. Amazing people and LGBTQ+ friendly.Beau and their assistant Sara were great to go to for my first tattoo. Highly recommend.Dani and Pam also respond well to follow up health questions and care about the healing process.

I randomly ran into Genie aka ReehKeaux while out shopping. He had on a shirt that encouraged asking him about tattoos. Ive been following him on Instagram since then.I arrived at Midgard as a walk-in for both a tattoo and piercing as was greeted by Chels. They let me know how much time I would need to wait for each artist to be available. Genie listened to what I wanted, printed up the sketch, and got finished quite quickly. He explained the aftercare and recommended products too.Dani did my nostril piercing. She made me feel super comfortable, talked me through each step as she did it, and gave me all the details for aftercare as well as contact info for her and the other piercer shes doing her apprenticeship with.If youre looking for a comfortable, safe, professional, and inclusive place for a tattoo or piercing, Id definitely recommend Midgard.

Mac is an excellent piercer!! He’s super knowledgeable and so so welcoming! I came to them for my labret piercing last september and have since come back multiple times to try new jewelry. Will definitely be coming back to them for future piercings :)!

This is one of my favorite tattoo shops ever all of the staff is extremely friendly and the shop it’s self is beautiful my favorite part is probably the fish tank. I definitely recommend the artist jazzy if your looking for a new tattoo she does amazing work and does a great job at making sure I’m always comfortable and she’s very understanding.

I have two tattoos done by Willow, and they’re my favorite ones i’ve gotten! Willow is awesome with communicating before and during the tattoo, and made me feel so comfortable. also shoutout to them for their sick music taste!! 10/10 recommend and i look forward to getting tattooed by them again 🫶🏽

Mac is the most experienced, educated and informative piercer I have come to know! Not only does he do a phenomenal job, he will walk you through his entire process for whatever piercing you are getting and makes sure you feel comfortable. Ive known him for less than a year, got 3 piercings from him and he has my complete trust. I dont see myself going to anyone else for my piercing needs. If youre looking for a piercer who loves what they do and absolutely cares about their clients first, then look no further because Mac is definitely your guy!

If you’re looking for a great piercer in a clean and comfortable location, go see Mac at Midgard. I recently had an appointment with him for a couple of piercings - he is fantastic! So friendly and knowledgeable. He walked me through the piercing process and explained all of the aftercare in a way that was easy to follow. I left feeling confident not only because of my new piercings (which I absolutely love!!), but also knowing that I knew how to take care of them at home. You can tell that Mac is really passionate about what he does and wants everyone to have a great experience.

I went here for the first time in February with a friend who wanted to get a tattoo done. The place is very clean and spacious and has places to sit and watch your friend or family member get a tattoo. I am not a tattoo person but the artists designs on the wall were very eye catching and they have very nice stuff. The staff is super welcoming as well!!I decided to get a septum piercing while I was with my friend. Pamela pierced me and was super professional and fast. It turned out great! A few days ago I took out my septum jewelry and the hole tightened I was helped by Dani and was well taken care of! Dani also answered all my questions, was very friendly, kind, and gave me more insightful info.The piercings might seem expensive but that is because these people will take care of you, are professionals, and are extremely knowledgeable!! They truly are experts and my friend and I talk about how amazing of an experience we’ve had with them all the time! 💖💖💖💖💖💖

I had such an incredible experience with Mac! I just got my first piercings (lobes) and Mac did an amazing job of guiding me through the entire process, alleviating any concerns or questions and setting a tone that was very inviting and easy. Hands down an amazing experience here! I had 2 dermals (not done here) removed after 4 years by Pam. Not only was she very informative and polite, she and the staff created a very relaxing environment. I will most definitely be back to add to my ink collection once healed!

Ive gotten a tattoo from two artists from there! Tom and Willow.Tom is super professional and is super cool about making sure youre taken care of.Willow has just ABSURD talent and they do they cutest, most wonderful florals and cottagecore art. On top of that, theyre a downright hilarious human being.The artists there are all lovely and over all talented. Everyone is also openly queer and LGBTQ+ allies.

Wanted to get my brother inkd up, called this location at about 630pm asking if they were available to do walk-ins that day and was put in contact with Genie. Told me hed be back by 7 so we rolled over to the spot and the first thing I noticed was how beautiful and clean the shop is kept. We waited a bit for Genie to get set up and the artist next to him had just finished up an absolutely GORGEOUS photorealistic Greek Statue piece. Genie himself was a guy and a half, super chill, super fun, stupidly talented. My brother couldnt be happier with how his first tattoo ended up, and it looks like everyone on their roster is worth every penny. 10/10 shop.

I had four tattoos prior to visiting Midgard from four different places and artists. I will say that my experience at Midgard was, hands down, the best tattooing experience Ive ever had. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they genuinely care that your experience is good. My artist, Marie, is next level. I have never felt more comfortable getting a tattoo, even though the spot I chose was probably one of the more sensitive places Ive gotten done. I felt so at ease and Marie was fully on board with taking as many breaks as I needed to get the piece done. Not to mention that her artwork is stunning and her attention to detail is so amazing. Truly an amazing experience.I will definitely be back. Best experience ever.

I love this location! I’ve gone to both here and the Valkyrie location and every artist I’ve met has been phenomenal! I’ve had Molly tattoo me several times now and Pam, Dani, and Mac have all helped me with piercings! All three are very informative! This is the only shop in DFW I trust to pierce or ink my body. They take care of me 💕

I was blown away by Midgard from start to finish. The greeting staff were kind, welcoming, and communicative. I went in for my second lobe piercing and scheduled with Mac (@stabbedbymac on Instagram). Mac was incredible to work with. I was unsure of how I wanted to start a curated look for my piercings moving forward. Mac listened to every word I said, considered it, and infused it in the art they created in mapping out my future piercings. Mac was so kind, funny, professional, and I have been recommending them to all of my friends since I got my piercing last weekend. Cant wait to go back and work on the rest of my piercings! Thank you Midgard for the environment you created, clearly, very intentionally.

This tattoo shop is by far one of my favorites. Jude did everything in their power to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. They were extremely flexible when it came to my requests, and they offered the most stunning designs. I particularly love that this shop has little rooms you can get tattooed in vs. being out in the open. I didnt have to worry about sun exposure so I could fully relax.

Mac was super knowledgeable and reassuring, answering all my questions, confirming my anatomy would work, and going over jewelry options and aftercare. Clean, professional shop with friendly staff, highly reccomend!

I’ve had 6 tattoos in the last 8 years and Molly provided by far the most comfortable experience I’ve ever had while getting one. Her setup is geared towards the client in any way you need it to be! Comfortable chair, arm rest, snack selection, a TV you can connect your phone to, as well as all her art put up on the wall. Not to mention, her art itself is amazing!

Mac is officially the best piercer I’ve ever gone to!! Went to him a week ago to get my septum pierced and the process was awesome. He explained everything in great detail and the actual piercing was quick, painless + placed perfectly. The healing has been the same- almost doesn’t even feel like a new piercing which is crazy. Overall 10/10 experience- would recommend him to ANYONE. You won’t regret it. :-)

We took our girls (7) to get their lobes pierced. Pamela and Mac were both attentive and caring. Pamela explained all the process to us as parents and to the girls as well. They both made the experience for our daugthers so amazing. Hands down the best place to get your kiddos ears pierced!!

The studio is beautiful and very welcoming. Lots of talented artists are here. I came with my brother to get our ears pierced after booking online with Dani. She was very helpful and informative! She detailed aftercare very well, and talked us through each step and even had a squishmallow/stress balls to squeeze. I would definitely recommend getting piercings here by either Dani or Pamela!

We both got pierced by stabbedbymac (check him out in insta) he was HELLA GREAT and made us feel comfortable which was big cause this was both our first time getting piercings. I got pierced with Pamela and it was a 10/10 experience. The shop itself is gorgeous, the atmosphere is cute and inviting. Filling out the release forms was a breeze and the price was fair for the level of service provided. Pamela is friendly, well educated, and talked me through the piercing with a tone that made me feel comfortable and showcased her professional demeanor. I will definitely be visiting her again!

I’d like to just take a moment to brag Beau. Not only did they make my tattoo experience extremely pleasant, personal, and as comfortable as possible but their work was so stellar that despite the piece coming out bigger than I’d really thought through I absolutely adore it and it is everything I wanted. Also their gentle hand and careful skill has the tattoo healing up shockingly smoothly, virtually painlessly, and dang near itch-free. I love my tattoo, I loved my experience, and I love Beau! If you’re looking at getting a tattoo I HIGHLY recommend them. I also highly recommend their studio, Midgard Tattoo Company in Dallas, if one of their other artists is more your style as they were all incredibly nice and welcoming. 12 out of 10 would patronize again!!!

I went in for a walk in today because it was my birthday and I am so happy I did. I have no words for how amazing the staff was. They were so attentive and patient through my anxious stutters and everything. I felt so safe and comfortable to be myself. Chelsea up front was so kind and sweet. Genie (my artist) is so talented, attentive and kind as well. The whole crew just has amazing energy. They made me feel so welcome. I am so glad I gave Midgard Tattoos a chance. I will be coming back.

Went to Midgard today for the first time and it definitely wont be my last! The energy in the studio is wonderful and so positive, I felt very welcome and comfortable. All the artists are so nice. I was tattooed by Beau and I cant say enough good things about them! By far my best tattoo experience. They did a fantastic portrait of my dog that is literally a work of art- they are insanely talented. Highly recommend both Beau and Midgard!

As someone who is queer and also autistic, I have never been at another shop more inclusive, safe and accommodating. The initial form requests preferred name and pronouns which is amazing. Pam and Dani are my go-to for piercings. They are so knowledgeable about their craft & also part of the APP. Very very transparent about the entire piercing process and I always leave with an aftercare pamphlet and some saline for the road (: truly wonderful!!

I came for my second tattoo & saw Molly. I booked with her a few months in advance and was super excited for it!! The second I walked into Midgard I felt safe and welcome. Molly was the absolute best. I brought my boyfriend since he’s getting a tattoo in a few months and she was more than happy to walk us both throughout the process. She worked with me even though the placement (back of the thigh) was one of the most painful. Literally the best experience, I’m so excited to get more work from her! The entire Midgard & Valkyrie staff is just so wonderful and I’ve already booked with 2 other staff members for more tattoos!! Also super excited to get some piercings from either Pamela or Dani :)

I got my nostril pierced by Dani today and, as a professional in this industry, I cannot recommend this studio enough. The staff is very informed on the best practices and very highly trained. The atmosphere is warm and inviting as well as comforting for potentially scary services. Chels, the manager, is the best first impression that any business could ask for. They had a warm and welcoming smile. Pam offers a large variety of jewelry and can absolutely find a piece that’ll fit your style. 10/10

This place is amazing! From the moment I called the receptionist was very patient with me and answered all my questions. My piercer Dani was amazing! She was also very patient, walked me through all the steps of the piercing to make sure I was comfortable, and was very detailed in the after care instructions. You can tell that this place truly cares about the quality of their work and the people!

My husband and I walked into the shop yesterday to see if we could get jewelry replaced. At the start we spoke to the receptionist (whos name I didnt catch but I love their hair lol) and they were very polite, helping us meet the piercer and apprentice Pam and Dani. They were both amazing! Luckily they had a minute between appointments and helped us both out with getting new jewelry and changing it. They also have a huge collection of high grade jewelry you can pick and choose from- and while I had been following the shops instagram for a while I didnt realize just how many options they had. When we were finished they even had candy we could choose from 😭💕Overall this shop has some wonderful people, a great atmosphere, and ill definitely be coming back to them for future experiences :)

This place is amazing! The studio itself is so beautiful and clean, making me feel welcome and comfortable. Absolutely 100% recommend this studio. I found Aysha online and she was SO wonderful. This was my first tattoo (and my kids first as well) and Aysha was very welcoming and answered all our questions. The designs she created for us were fantastic too. Im excited to go back and work with Aysha and the other artists here.

Came here a few weeks ago to swap a lip stud to a lip ring. Pamela is super chill, very easy to talk to, and never made me feel rushed. She asked what color I wanted the piercing and anodized one on the fly since the color I wanted wasnt already available. When she put it in she asked a couple questions to make sure it felt comfortable. A month later and its had no issues. The shop itself is very modern and clean.

I got a nostril piercing change after developing an irritation bump from a different piercer. Pamela was kind, professional, and knowledgable. The studio was extremely well kept and sterilization practice appeared perfect. Not to mention the gorgeous jewelry collection and overall beautiful art and decor. I will definitely be coming here for a future piercing or tattoo.

I reserved an appt with Pamela Spector to get a Daith piercing and t have some other piercings changed out that were ready at the time. I must say that she was pure Awesomeness. She did a great job. She listened to my concerns and gave me her honest opinion about what would work and what would not work for my Daith piercing. She gave off strong vibes that said, I know what Im doing and you are in good hands. I didnt feel rushed or like a number either. I felt really comfortable in her care. The piercing itself was maybe a 4/5 out 10 pain scale. But we are talking about the daith piercing here and cartilage, so each person is different. But I will definitely say that Ill be going back to her to change out my others when they are ready. This was a very friendly group of people. Loved the experience. Until next time.

So I got my tattoo done by Marie while she was at Valkyrie. I highly recommend her. She’s a total sweetheart and was always making sure I was comfortable. I couldn’t be more happy with her work. I’ve gotten so many compliments about my Levi tattoo and who did it. The quality of her work is out of this world and I will be coming back to her for more of my tattoos.

I’ve been wanting to do a piercing as part of the grieving process after losing my grandmother. I was extremely close to her, as she raised me and was also my best friend. Since this was much more than just a regular piercing to me, it took me a very long time to find someone I trusted. Then, I found Pam at Midgard. She had beautiful work on Instagram and when I called with my questions, she took time to listen and explain everything. She had a level of understanding about what I was going through that I hadn’t encountered before. She even managed to fit me in as a walk-in that same day. I decided on piercing my tragus on both ears. Pam was precise, gentle and quick. The experience was very cathartic for me. I highly recommend Pam, as well as Midgard Tattoo.

Super great experience. The lobby is super nice and everyone there seems supee nice too. Willow did two of my tattoos there and theyre now my go to tattooer! They do amazing work and are super chill! The place seems every LGBTQ+ friendly.

I was so excited when Valkyrie opened up and just as excited when Midgard opened as a second location. The owners & artists have done such a great job of creating an open and inviting space. I will be a client for life (or until I run out of skin haha). I went to get a tattoo from Jude on opening weekend and it was such a great experience. Jude is an amazing artist and I cant wait to get more tattoos from them and other artists from Valkyrie & Midgard.

This has been the absolute best tattooing experience I have ever had. Beau worked so hard, thoughtfully, and diligently on my cover-up tattoo. They have the most gentle hands of anyone that I have been tattooed by. Beau has more talent than most tattoo artists I researched for this special cover-up, and the linework is sharp enough to cut glass. I can’t wait for Session 2 to complete this art that deserves to be in a gallery.

Me and my sister went to get a replacement nose piercing since hers fell out . We stood around and waited for 10-15 mins even ringing the bell twice . We heard voices but no one came to service us . I was thinking about getting my next tattoo and piercing here but after today I think I’ll pass .

I got a last minute impulse tattoo from Abi and I love it so much! Shes super sweet and easy to talk to~ After showing her a reference image, she freehand sketched on my ankle and knocked it out so quick✨

Stabbedbymac(check out his insta)did my high nostril piercings about a month ago and I had a wonderful experience getting them done and when I started to develop an irritation bump on one he got me in right away to figure out the problem and ultimately downsized my jewelry, whether you’re wanting a basic piercing or a more advanced piercing I definitely recommend him and will be going to him for all my future piercings.

Went to get my first piercing ever, and Dani (@dandipierces) was so nice and patient and helped me so much with my nerves. The business is LGBTQ+ friendly too!

Me and a friend wanted to get our tattoos done here because they were highly rated and saw a ton of recommendations.We walked in on a Wednesday night to see if we could get them done, both small tattoos. They told us no one was available for walk ins, which is fine I understand covid has impacted a lot of things and they may not get many walk ins. I was given the Instagram of one of the artists by the lady at the front and told me to message him and get scheduled. I messaged him the next day, got a response asking what we would like done, I told him then it was read and no response. I get they’re small and simple tattoos and if you don’t want to do them then say you’re unavailable, but to straight out not respond is really unprofessional, especially when I was given your specific Instagram. My dad passed away recently and wanted a simple tattoo to remember him by. Maybe he forgot or something came up, but I feel like I was brushed off simply due to what I wanted.

Everyone is always so welcoming and professional. The artists are all phenomenal. This is my go to for any piercing or jewelry.

Over the last two weeks I’ve gotten my first and second tattoo, my first was a walk in with Noah and the second was with Aadam. Both of them were professional and super nice. I love both tattoos and although I didn’t get to talk to Noah so much because I was nervous and it was a small short tattoo, I did get to talk to Aadam. My session with Aadam was amazing he made sure me and my friend (who was getting a tattoo done by him afterwards) were comfortable and situated and I really appreciate all the time he took with us. Both were very respectful and I look forward to getting more tattoos here.

My appointment was rescheduled twice.When I arrived for the rescheduled appointment the receptionist said my artist wasn’t there. They called the artist and said “I think they double booked because they don’t have anyone down for today. I’d email them.”I did and was offered to reschedule a third time, but declined.I understand stuff can come up, but it’s hard when the receptionist tells me “they didn’t book anyone” and when the artist tells me “something came up.” I feel lied to. And I drove and hour to get there, just to drive an hour back home after a no-show artist.They apologized. Midgard and Valkyrie are still great and comfortable shops, but I haven’t had the best luck these last few times when I’ve attempted to get a tattoo.

After my artist last minute canceled on me twice, I voiced my frustration without being crude, using profanity, and remained professional- to which they replied “because of your attitude we will no longer be working with you.”As an artist myself, looking to support others in the industry, this experience was really unfortunate. I suppose if you want an artist where customer service is dead this is a great shop.

Got a beautiful Friday the 13th tattoo, the wait was not too long and the artist was pretty quick.
