Jeremy has done over 30 tattoos for me over the last 4 years. He runs a great shop, does awesome work, and is just an all around great human being! I get lots of compliments on my ink and always recommend him and his shop!

I have had 3 tattoos done here at Black Anchor Studio and the shop is great. I really like the owner he is really down to earth and helpful and I have had his other artists work on my tattoos as well and they are fantastic. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for some tattoo work. Will definitely be back again soon.

I came in for a simple piece and left not only satisfied with my tattoo, but also extremely satisfied with the service. I struggle with social anxiety very badly and it is also the worst part of getting new body art. When I came in Jeremy and Hannah were both extremely friendly and helpful with suggestions when I wasn’t sure of placement and font type for my tattoo. Hannah helped me feel very welcome and comfortable through the whole entire process, even though I was nervous and probably came off as silly or foolish at times. She was very considerate of whether I was comfortable. I was also pleased to see how kid friendly they were and how nice they are to children. I left very happy with my new piece and also felt as if I left with some new friends! The environment is very clean and welcoming, and everyone was so chill and professional! The pricing was also more than reasonable, I would’ve paid even more for the piece I got, because it was well worth it! I highly recommend this shop, especially for anyone who is socially awkward, as they find ways to help you feel super comfortable and even give you a good laugh. I will be coming back for any future body art! :)

Jeremy did a fantastic job with my first tattoo! I went into it with only a vague idea of what I wanted and a simple outline drawn up by Jeremy that didn’t include all the shading and coloring he would add to the final product. I’m in love with how it turned out and couldn’t ask for any better. He also did a great job of making me feel comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend his shop!

Jeremy has done two tattoos of mine, and they are a couple of my favorites. He does wonderful work, and can design anything you want. I wont go to anyone else for my tattoos anymore after being in his chair. He is professional, and makes sure you are 100% satisfied with your art before he even makes the stencil. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone that asks about wonderful artists.

Jeremy did an amazing job, he worked with me the whole way and made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted for my first tattoo. He knew that I was super nervous and he took it into account and helped me feel calm up until the end! He is super friendly and he is great at what he does!

I’ve been coming here off and on over the past year or so. I first came here for a Friday the 13th tattoo, and now currently getting a sleeve done.Jeremy is a very likeable guy that makes you feel very comfortable when you’re there. His work is amazing. You name it he can do it. He’ll work with you on prices, and make sure you get exactly what you want. He goes above and beyond for his customers. Just being there in the chair is almost as if you’re at home. He lets you pick out a movie to watch while he’s tattooing, and he’s always cracking jokes. Along with his staff randomly popping in to joke around as well there is never a dull moment at his shop, and before you leave you’ll have some new friends.

Jeremy is a cool guy and made me feel comfortable about working with him. The design he came up with for me was better than what I could imagine myself. Its like hes just intuitive about what I want to see and how hes going to create it. Just all around a pretty pleasant experience with him.

So after consulting with Shea, I kind of was just expecting a normal plain tattoo thatll get the job done but this girl blew my mind with the little extra details she added to it to make it look like a super awesome animation type tattoo. Love it and highly recommend yall checking her out!

Met Tucker about a week ago when I popped in while I was scouting out shops. Super chill dude, awesome traditional work, and very knowledgeable. He sat and genuinely listened to my idea for a back piece. As far as pricing goes, his are almost unbeatable and Ive been getting tattooed for 8 years so Ive seen some wild prices. Overall a fun guy, intelligent and driven to bust out of his comfort zone and learn more. If you want quality work then hit him or jereamy up. Im almost positive Ill be back in a few months to start on the back part of my sweater.

Jeremy is an awesome guy that treats everyone that comes through his door with a level of courtesy, respect, and amicability that you don’t often see nowadays. He’s the kind of guy that will stay late and work overtime on a piece that has special meaning to someone because they’re moving away and are unable to book a different time at a later date. Throughout the whole process, he works with clients and keeps an open line of communication, ensuring he delivers the best possible artwork and achieves complete customer satisfaction. Naturally there are going to be some that have unrealistic standards and expectations, and I find it unfortunate they felt the need to come leave such unflattering reviews about their experience when it sounds like they either didn’t understand the tattooing process, or were confused by the sign on the front door that says “If Closed, Please Call For An Appointment” when by their own admission they never actually set foot in the studio. That is NOT the Black Anchor experience, and does NOT represent the level of personalized care and attention you will receive as a customer. Jeremy makes every effort when it comes to scheduling, rescheduling, and any changes or requests with his artwork that may come up. Nearly two decades of tattooing experience has given him a wealth of knowledge and insight that he brings to each consultation, and it reflects in both the quality of his work and the manner in which he conducts business. Whether you’re looking to get your first tattoo or your hundredth, you’d be hard pressed to find a more easy-going tattoo artist than Jeremy with the same level of skill and dedication to his craft. I strongly urge you to give them a call and see for yourself.

Jeremy and Crew at Black Anchor Studios are amazing. He did a full size 9 hour Watchmen piece on me with old school comic book style coloring from a design that I put together in photoshop. He handled the transfer perfectly and nailed the color and shading spot on. It is absolutely amazing. I love my Tattoo and I highly recommend the strict professionals at Black Anchor Studios. Give them your business, you wont regret the decision.

I checked around about 6 or 7 shops before i found black anchor. I was looking for a cover up and he did some original art for me. It turned out amazing, even better than i even imagined. Jeremy is super chill and i would recomend him to anybody.

Is this a real shop? It’s the closest tattoo shop near me && it’s ALWAYS closed which makes me wonder. It’s hard to find as well. According to the sign, it’s open from “noonish til wheneverish” & closed on Sundays. Ive shown up on days other than Sundays & the shop is blacked out & closed. RED FLAG! I just saw another review saying the same thing so good to know it’s not just me. Maybe this is a sign. I’ll find another shop elsewhere & support them.

Amazing experience!!! Went in for a cover up piece on my foot that I had been told was impossible to do from a few other artist. Couldnt be more pleased with my new piece!! Honestly, turned out better than I had imagined...definitely will be back!!
