Wow! Thats the first thing that comes to my mind after leaving our visit here with Jeremiah Fuentez! Unfortunately we did not come here to him to get my daughters eyebrow piercing because where we did go did not school us on the care of her eyebrow piercing. He was more than willing to help get the eyebrow piercing off change it and school us on the care of it! He didnt even want to charge us but I refused to let him do that for free because we were so appreciative! Highly highly highly recommend if you want quality work done! I will be back soon for my piercing!

Jeremiah pierced my double tragus and I immediately wanted to do the other side! Very great experience. Came out beautiful. Did not hurt- very good hand he has 👌 He was respectful and very professional with his expertise and advice.

I came into the shop needing all of my piercings taken out (industrial, nostril, septum, Medusa,belly button) and exchanged for a retainer piece for a procedure I had coming up, I couldn’t do it myself because I was having super bad tics at the time. Came in as a walk-in today and was treated to a fantastic tattoo session with Elizabeth. She took my initial inspiration and came up with a great take on it (the original was more of a realism artwork, she turned it into a cool American Traditional style). Very easy to work with, and shes good at understanding the somewhat vague comments that people like me have when it comes to reviewing the initial mockup (Im no artist, so its hard for me to articulate what I like and dont like about something). She was quick but not hasty, great to talk to if you like to chitchat while getting work done. I left very satisfied with the piece I got, and would definitely come back again. The shop itself is very clean and professional, and the gal at the front desk was also very nice. Definitely not one of those scary intimidating shops where the staff seem like they dont want to be there. Strongly recommend!

Went in for Jeremiah specifically since I’ve heard so much about him. Made sure to call beforehand and come in during his hours just to be handed off to an apprentice with no prior warning for my first body piercing. Didn’t even bother to ask if I was okay with it either. She was just in the room and I had assumed maybe she was going to watch as an example or something— which I wasn’t asked if I was comfortable with that either.I had come in for a tongue piercing, which I wanted to get done by someone with experience.Hence the coming in at a certain time and calling ahead. I even asked him about his past experience with piercing which he gladly answered while leaving out the detail that I wasn’t even getting pierced by him.She(the apprentice) had to re-pierce, she struggled with the jewellery, and it unscrewed just hours later when I was at home sitting on my couch.I had to come back in because of that, just to be asked by the apprentice if I was messing with it. No, I wasn’t, and that’s what’s so upsetting about it unscrewing so soon after.Even one of the people up front pointed out how bad it looked.They (Jeremiah and his apprentice who’s name I didn’t catch) were rude and rough and they didn’t speak to me much, just to each other, they didn’t provide a very welcoming or safe environment for me. But made sure to emphasise how I wasn’t in charge of anything— they were. Which isn’t very comforting in a situation like that.Came back once it was time to get the bar replaced and Jeremiah was rude and short about that too.When I had questions during my session they were answered in a condescending way or very shortly— which I’m sure is amazing for new people trying piercings. They didn’t really allow for any kind of dialogue either which I believe is key in having a good client-piercer relationship. At least in order to build some kind of trust.I had to take the piercing out a few months after because of no bars fitting properly and how much the piercing would hit the bottom of my mouth.Really wish I had gotten the amazing experience everyone else had been speaking about.

My girlfriend and I decided to jump in line for Friday the 13th tattoos, Heart In Hand has a reputation as one of the best places in the area. It’s basically a landmark.I was expecting to pick some flash and get some simple line work and be on my way. My name got called and I got sat with Erik “Triple Twos”. He was really helpful making sure I was happy with the placement, but it was when he asked if he could give it “a little flair.” that sealed the deal. He took two pieces of simple flash and put his personal touch on each one. They both look absolutely awesome. He gave me the red carpet treatment and I got two unique tattoos for the grand total of $40.It was my first time at Heart In Hand, the staff was really cool and really nice. When I get my next tattoo, it will be here, and I’ll be getting it with Erik “Triple Twos”

I got a tattoo here in December me and my friend went in as a walk-in and were assisted by Elizabeth she was a sweetheart but the tattoos she did were just not it she went in really deep and left blowouts on both me and my friend and lines were just not good:/

Went in with my friends to get my 1st Friday the 13th tattoo and was seated with Erick. He did so great at making me feel comfortable and confident with my tattoo choice and placement. Over all a very chill experience given the fact that the shop was crazy busy.

I called last night to get my jewelry switched out. Unfortunately I didn’t get the women’s name but she was very helpful with the service I wanted and told me to pop by the next day. Come the next day, I walk in and Katie helped me with the service. Very quick if you ask me and also very kind. I highly recommend the place ! Keep in mind it’s cash only too !!

Went in for the Friday the 13th tattoos, on “Thursday”. The line was long, but moved very quick. The guy upfront was super friendly, attentive, and helped ensure the line moved quickly. We picked out the design we wanted, filled out the form, and paid all in just a few minutes. The guy I was with was Erik, he made sure my placement was where I wanted and had me go look in the mirror to make sure. I have a few Friday the 13th tattoos and he has been the first artist to ask me that. So that was a plus. From the time I sat down to the time I left was less than 15 minutes, so another plus as I was tired and wanted to go home! I love my coffin and I will definitely be going back to this artist/shop not only for the next Friday the 13th, but a future tattoo as well. Thank you to the very friendly staff.

Honest to god the best piercing experience of my life. Lightning quick, hardly any discomfort during the process (only some due to the manner in which the area in question must be held to pierced), and the staff was awesome.

Jeremiah is the best piercer Ive ever met! He did about 14 of my piercings years ago and they all turned out perfect. Even though my job doesnt allow me to get as many piercings anymore, I still send everyone his way. Hes so nice, very knowledgeable and patient and gives you thorough care instructions. I recently had a piercing severely rip and spent $235 to go to the doctor - they couldnt get the barbell out and put in a stitch that fell out the day after. It wasnt healing so I reached out to Jeremiah and he had me come in, at no charge, and took the barbell out for me. If you want new piercings or help with current piercings - go to Jeremiah!!

Got my helix pierced yesterday by Jeremiah. He was patient with me even though I was anxious and asking a lot of questions. I was very pleased and felt well taken care of. It’s only been a day and i feel like it doesn’t even hurt anymore. Side note, this is the sister piercing shop that is part of the Elm St. Tattoo family. They do tattoos here as well. My piercing was $40 and I got a special stone that ended up being $10 more. They are cash only. I was a walk in and was done in about 20 mins. Very good experience overall.

Literally worst tattoo experience I’ve had. I had a really simple tattoo outline and they asked if something else was “close enough” and acted irritated the entire time then went completely off on the outline I had to fully edit and outline myself for them. It was the first tattoo I got that was not hidden and the worst mistake ever. This place was a giant mistake from start to finish from their attitudes to the up charging. Gross lack of customer service and talent. I wish I’d never gone here. The tattoo artist was Sam Olog.

My wife and I decided to get matching tatoos after I told her w/e she wants to do today I am down!She decided on matching tattoos. Although my wife had a couple of tatoos I have never gotten one before and had no idea how the experience / feeling was going to be. The guy behind the front counter (forgot name) was even nice enough to let us both in a few min before opening. My wife and I had explained to the guy behind the counter what we wanted so he can us pick one out / get stencil ready (a semi colon) Unfortunately the tattoo artist wasnt able to get there for another 2.5 hours due to a personal situation, so he wasnt aware the front desk guy called / texted him and he had people waiting (us and a few others) so we just chatted with counter guy and listened to his AMAZING chill alternative music that really put us in a good mood. The tattoo artist (Eric) did a small semi colon on my arm and my wifes wrist which looks cool, but the customer service that the front desk guy showed is the main reason I am giving this place a 3 star review (even though we had to wait 2.5 hours for the tattoo guy to show up) Due to the long wait we had, I recommend you to call in advance to make sure someone is available that day / book in advance just in case. Good experience but not great experience (due to the wait and cost for the size of tattoo even after an almost 3 hour wait)

Went in with my sister to each get a piercing and Matt was so great- hes very chill and easy to talk to. We enjoyed talking to him while we were in there and he made sure we knew how to care for our piercings before we left. Definitely recommend him!

I never write reviews but my experience here was so amazing that I needed to write one. I got a ear piercing from a different place a while back but they did such a crappy job that it never healed properly. So I decided to come here because I had a friend tell me about a guy name Jeremy that does piercing and let me tell you my experience with him was amazing he gave me proper care instructions took the time to make sure I had the right piercing and wrote down everything I needed to make the process of healing a lot smoother. Definitely recommend this place to others! Ask for Jeremy!!

After doing research for a few weeks about the where to find the best piercer in Dallas, I went in to see Matt for a body piercing. He was so professional and answered all of my endless questions very knowledgeably. He really made sure to listen to me and keep me calm throughout the whole process. The piercing was virtually painless and he made the experience really pleasant. A little over a week later, Im healing nicely with no complications and I love my new metal! I would definitely recommend Matt to anyone who is a body piercing newbie like I was. He will take care of you and make sure you get the exact results you want. Thanks Matt!

I went a couple of days back to remove one of piercings my body was not a fan of. Which by the way did not get there. The staff is really friendly! I unfortunately did not get his name but it was the piercer with the long hair, I know great description, but he is very friendly and professional. He removed my piercing without charge. Once Im over this trauma I will definitely go back to him and get a new piercing! Also their selection of jewelry is pretty cool. He did mention to another girl he spoke to before me that he could order you custom jewelry if you wanted.

I was coming from out of town as I was visiting family and friends in the area and wanted a tattoo to make my moment memorial as I have been through a lot in the past year. As my friend and I walked in we weren’t greeted with the friendliest of greetings with the guy at the front desk. We however were greeted very nicely by the tattoo artist who received our inquiry from management days in advanced. As I was preparing to receive my tattoo, I noticed there was candy I could grab to take off the edge of the sleeve I was about to receive after four years of no tattoos. I was nervous and proceeded to ask asked for a piece of candy and he said no, I said, “I was willing to pay just needed something to calm me”, the answer was still no. As we moved to the tattoo area, my friend accidentally knocked a framed picture down, which didn’t break at all and fell a foot, and he said “Watch what you’re doing this ain’t you’re living room ,this is a business !!” We apologized and it explained to him we were nervous as we are getting huge matching tattoos. The tattooer was great and was able to turn around our experience but i don’t think I’ll ever go back there again.”

Came down to Dallas for the weekend and wanted to get a nostril piercing with a hoop. Worst experience ever. Explained that I wanted a hoop, and was instantly told how much of a stupid idea I would be making, and that I needed to go with a stud due to healing/piercing bump issues. No problem. Though I respected his opinion, I still wanted to go with a hoop. Things just went down hill from there. I have quite a few tattoos but have never gotten any kind of piercing other than my ears. When met with the questions for placement and size, I simply asked what he thought would be best, since he is the expert after all. Responded with nothing but sarcasm and attitude. The whole process made me extremely uncomfortable. It wasnt until I mentioned leaving to go elsewhere that he SLIGHTLY changed his tune. A captive bead ring was put in and I was on my way. Did not get an option for a higher quality of jewelry or anything of the sort. Bead ended up falling off after my second night with it in. Went to a shop back home to have it placed back on. Not only did I receive excellent customer service there, but also had them change my ring out. Apparently flimsy captive bead rings put in by rude peircers arent the best choice for your nose piercing. Go figure! Im sure this place does beautiful tattoo work, but would never recommend anyone for a piercing.

I had a cheap screw-on earring stuck in my ear because the screw part had stripped over time. I just went here because I was eating nearby and decided to get my earring situation taken care of, but I was so impressed with their customer service! I was greeted warmly when I walked in and I was helped right away. One of the employees helped me get my earring out quickly and efficiently. Thank you!!

I love the enviroment here it was clean and even smelled nice. Lucy their piercer was able to get me in right away. The piercing went smooth and only hurt for a second. Lucy did a great job with placement and jewerly selection. Will definitely be back for more piercing

Sasha was the most personal and professional Artist that We’ve ever used before. She did my son’s first tattoo and was very descriptive and what to expect. I got both earlobes pierced this past week and it was great! The guys name was Matt and he really knew what he was doing. It took less than ten minutes and he even provided me with after care (which included sea salt, antibacterial soap, three free stickers, and instructions.) Ive gotten a nose piercing while in Miami last month and I hated it. So I decided to let the piercing close and get it re-pierced by Ursula, and she did a great job. It was the complete opposite of my Miami experience. She was kind, the piercing was quick and painless, and she gave me aftercare instructions. I would definitely recommend her for piercings.

We came here for my friend to get her septum and medusa piercing. Jeremy did an amazing job and was very friendly. Prices are really good as well. The staff here were very helpful when we called for information before we came.

My daughters and I use this place to get our piercings. Theyre reliable and reasonably priced. Salty Steve is the best. Hes patient and I rely on his advice regarding jewelery and piecing placement. Its a very clean facility. They offer tattoos in addition to the piercing. Parking is tough. Its cash only and they do have an ATM.

My friend and I went there to get our tattoos together. It was her first tattoo, and my second - fourth. Their prices were reasonable starting at a base of $60 and for my 3 black tattoos (6 characters total) in Japanese and Korean it was a total of $100 + tip. They were very friendly and helpful and best of all FAST. I hate needles and he got all 3 of my tattoos on my neck and wrists in less than half an hour, maybe even less. They look fabulous and it was totally worth it! I would definitely recommend this place.

I had a piercing taken out for almost 24 hours and it was half closed up. I didnt need it repierced I just needed a taper it through.It was a more complex male genital piercing and definitely painful NOT from the piercer just the area in general.He repeatedly checked in with me to make sure he was in the right spot and helped me with my pace my breathing.I always mess up the breathing with other piercers but he was perfect.AND he didnt charge me anything he just said to write a good review.thanks man!

Dan did an amazing job on my tattoo. He was friendly and engaged in conversation. I was there for 3 hours and my tattoo is not only perfect but its exactly what I asked for. It was definitely somewhere I will go back for more work.

I came on my 18th birthday to get my left nostril pierced and Steve was very helpful!! My right nostril piercing that I already had was pierced wrong and I wasnt aware. Steve informed me and we came to a solution with the issue. Steve pierced my left nostril and it did not hurt at all! Just a bit discomfort but I didnt even bleed! I am so happy with my piercing :D ! if you plan on getting a piercing here, definitely get booked with Steve!

Horrible environment to work in. Extremely unprofessional. Cant say anything bad about the piercer or piercing side, but the tattoo artists there are the absolute worst(Josh and Tiffany). No motivation. No clientele. Constantly drunk or hungover taking naps on the counters, nobody even bothering to look up from their phones. Always going across the street to take shots and leaving me there by myself. Not bothering to take the phone when they go outside to smoke. Super super clicky and negative. Not only this but they will make things up about you and lie to get you fired even though you are nothing but nice and respectful. Ive been in the industry 11 years, go to conventions, guest spot etc. And Ive never NOT wanted to work with a group of people so bad in my entire life. I hope the actual owner sees this and can correct the problem because I dont see this place lasting much longer with staff like that, which is why tattoo artists are leaving there in the first place because they are buddy-buddy with the manager there and nothing is being done about it. Thanks for listening to me rant.

Hold Fast is by far the best tattoo shop Ive been too and Chris is one heck of an artist and didnt charge me a lot with my 24hr back piece. All the guys here are really funny and easy going. If you want a really great tattoo that will hold its color come here.

I got my nose pierced in April and hardly felt it. It was super quick and the guy (cant remember his name) made sure it was exactly where I wanted it to be. The piercing closed since I lost the stud but if I ever want to get it repierced Ill definitely get it done here again.

You should be able to give zero stars. They will tell you your tattoo is guaranteed for life, it is not. When I returned to have mine fixed, not just touched up but FIXED, they informed me I would have to tip them or try to “sweet talk” one of them into fixing it bc the artist who did it was no longer there. A shop should not claim to guarantee the work COMING OUT OF THAT SHOP if they don’t actually uphold that. They were also very rude when we came in and attempted to be condescending to us. Save your time and money and go somewhere where they respect their customers.

Maybe being the proper color, you can get treated with respect and class here. The first time we only dealt with their rude racist attitudes because they were the only place in the area with the particular nose ring we had. I will be filing a complaint because treating people with disabilities in a certain way is rude. I came in with a person with a disability whom can barely see and was given rude treatment after I informed him that she couldnt fill out the paperwork. The first time I bought her, a lady was there and we still incurred some difficulty. Then he actually put her on the spot in front of other customers which was totally unfair and uncalled for. I will file a complaint through the proper government channels to have this place investigated.

I wanted a FINE delicate line tattoo of a butterfly, but the artist did it thicker than I wanted. Be firm about what you want when you go here. Otherwise they were really nice people. A little pricey for something simple though.

Jeremy has done both my piercings and he does the job efficiently and quickly! Both times i went for my septum and my nips i was in and out in ten minutes.

Went to get a tattoo When the guy didnt copy what i wanted and asked him to fix a piece of the ONE WORD tattoo he quickly made the correction like he was annoyed. When we were finished he kept messing around with the price and when we asked him about a part that was a little too shallow and faint on a line he told us not to critique him.

3 artists for Friday the 13th early this morning, really only 2 tattooing because a 3rd guy kept letting his friends go ahead of everyone.

First of all, the piercer was very professional but the tattoo artists were vulgar and they made me feel uncomfortable. I know not everybody from around here is from Texas, but in Texas if a woman walks into the room, you are supposed to respect their presence but these guys were not. They practically ignored me while they were going on about women on Tinder, and they werent talking nice about them. As a woman, with plenty of money to spent on tattoos, my life is in the hands of a strange man, I want to know he respects me. If I were a woman who cares about herself, I would stay away from there.

David did my tattoo, this was my very first tattoo, he was very professional and gentle while doing so, I am terrible with needles and even then I was a little uncomfortable but it was completely tolerable! I would definitely come back here for all of my other tattoos.

I got my tongue pierced by Jeremy 3 years ago I was nervous but he was very helpful in calming me and not to mention very professional and knowledgeable he didn’t just sit there he actually talked and made me feel comfortable the whole while ,,, I will be going back once I lose my baby fat to get my nipples pierced hopefully he is still there ,,, b/c I don’t want to go anywhere else to get them done
