Lindsey is an awesome artist! Brought her an idea, and she ran with it! Ended up absolutely gorgeous and so close to what I had pictured in my mind that its amazing! To top it all off, it was a cover-up, and you cant even tell! Have already booked my next session, and I cant wait!

This place is the real deal. One of the best if not the best tattoo shop in the QC region. Clean,, modern, spacious first class all around. And the people are simply the best. From Kelsey at the front desk to all the artists just great people. None of the normal struggles trying to make connections with artists and appointments, etc. Kelsey was amazing from my first email, quick and responsive and ready to make my appointments happen. Ryan the artist that did all of my appointments was great. Look forward to many more tattoos with the people at Dark side, especially with Ryan. Great Dude, great shop, great experience. I love my tattoo!! Staff was super nice. Only thing I would complain about is that there was a $16 card fee that I wasnt told about. And didnt know about it until I looked at my receipt in my email. If I would of known I would of paid cash, but its already happened. I just know for next time.

Darkside is a great place to get a tattoo. Everyone in the place is very friendly and helpful. Ryan did amazing work on my first tattoo and would be happy to go back and get another one done very soon.

I decided to give Darkside Art a try as they had great reviews and they did not disappoint! Richie did an awesome job and was great to talk to making the 2 hour appointment fly! He was patient and very helpful figuring out the best placement of parts of the design. I will definitely be going back.

I recently got my first tattoo done by Tetra. First I like to say she was great at responding, easy to work with and a overall great person. I can be a very anxious person and she definitely helped with the anxiety. The girls upfront were also super nice and made filling out the paperwork a breeze. Finally, I would like to mention Tetra did a campaign of cat tattoos for the local Cat Cafe that is opening. She donated her time and supplies to help the community! It was wonderful, she eneded up bringing in at least 600 dollars for the cafe, I believe. Definitely will be scheduling with her again!

Dan did an absolutely amazing job with my tattoo, cannot thank him enough. The ambiance of the studio was nice and it felt welcoming as well. Lots of art to look at as youre getting a tattoo done.

Remi did an amazing Job! I recommend her to everyone! She’s very personable and changes whatever aspect of the tattoo she’s drawn up. She fully exceeded m expectations of my tattoo. She did the silhouette of my babies face and her birth flower a carnation. She is so patient when it comes to you yourself as the client picking the exact size and placement of your tattoo. I’ve been to 2 different tattoo shops and they rushed me and told me that the size doesn’t matter inch by inch. Not Remi she gave me multiple sizes and gave me plenty of time. Such a great person, of course I’ll be back again!

I got my first tattoos here and it was the BEST experience ever. Everyone was so welcoming and made sure to give me all the information I needed! Remi was my artist and she was incredible made sure I was comfortable and loved my tattoos!

Artist constantly tried changing my tattoo and telling me what they thought looked better even after we agreed on what I wanted prior to payment. Also got upcharged after my tattoo and was treated very rudely by counter girls when I asked for explanation of the charge. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone unless you love wasting time and money

I recently got a tattoo here from Vern! Not only did she come up with a beautiful sketch but she also tattooed flawlessly. Everyone in the shop made me feel welcomed and it was just a wonderful atmosphere. Everyone here has amazing talent and they treat all of their clients with respect! Barbie, the front desk attendant was really great as well! I dont think I will ever go to a different shop after the experience I had at Darkside!

This is what irritating about this place, they want you to be an adult and remember your date of schedule but at the same time they are not willing to call, emails, or text to make sure that your appointment is coming up. They took 200 for deposit and said thank for missing out. I been in business of serving customers for many years and this one beat them all. Where is the customer service. There google web page said close at 8. But they close way earlier, the receptionist they just hire is rude and almost disrespectful talking to your like you stole something.She say they alway answer but only when she feel like it. DAN YOU are a great tattoo artist and people want to get on your list but the way you handle Client just make your business look bad.

When I think of dark side tattoo I think nothing but great things. When I walk into other tattoo parlors, I get really bad vibes especially here in the Quad Cities; but that never happens when I walk into Darkside. Not only does the location have a unique atmosphere and character, but everyone is really professional and as well as friendly and I always leave knowing that I received a high quality tattoo of exactly what I wanted. Richie is my go to guy, but I know that no matter who you go to you will be leaving absolutely satisfied! All the artists are really talented. So if you’re looking for a talented artist for reasonable I would definitely consider Darkside. Here are some pieces I have that was done by Richie!

This place was amazing! I was very nervous before getting my tattoos done, and everyone there was so kind and funny! During the first tattoo, I got extremely light headed and nauseated and almost fainted! But everyone was so nice and made sure I was okay, got me a cold towel and a soda. Not only did the tattoos look incredible, the whole experience was!!

Ryan did a fantastic job with my first tattoo; he is very responsive, friendly and professional. The final tattoo exceeded my expectations. The studio has a great atmosphere. I will definitely go back to have him add to this tattoo.

My father recently passed away unexpectedly. I had a picture of our last time together that I was set on getting as a tattoo. After going shop to shop to shop and people telling me that they cannot do this tattoo, I took it into dark side and Dustin was able to do it. The picture and the tattoo look identical. He did an amazing job. Theyre so friendly there. If youre looking for a portrait tattoo this is the place to go.

Got a tattoo done yesterday with Remi, its still wrapped up in the bandage but I cant stop looking at it!! She did an amazing job with the design and talked me through the whole tattoo, she does fantastic work!

This place is absolutely amazing. they were very respectful about my pronouns and name as they did not match my id and didn’t even bat an eye or make me feel uncomfortable. Ritchie did a great job on my tattoo and can’t wait to go back!

On a whim, I took advantage of a fantastic promotional piece that Darkside was offering via social media. They posted a photo of the black and grey design, and I immediately fell in love with the concept. Dustin really brought the piece to life when he played the ink down in one session. I couldnt be happier with the way she turned out, and I will never go anywhere else for my future pieces.
