Went here with my niece and mother to get their piercings done and Rudy was so friendly and kind. The place may not look like any other piercing place on the outside but inside its basically normal. Ive never seen someone pierce so quickly and smoothly. The prices were reasonable as well.It was great to find a place that pierces children without using a piercing gun because many places dont do them at all or use the little devices and Im a firm believer that all piercings should be done with a needle!

I had gotten my nipples pierced here & I love them! Don’t get me wrong but it was literally hard to unscrew the ball so I can change my rings out. I had to go somewhere else for them to take it out! He said he pierced it in the same holes but he didn’t, he literally made a whole new hole on my left nipple & it wasn’t healing properly, that’s why I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed! Now my right nipple; the ball keeps trying to sink into my skin & it’s very difficult to unscrew the ball!!! Maybe next time don’t screw the balls in so tight to the point I have to go to someone else 😕 other than that I do like them.

Clean and efficient. My spouse purchased a dermal, and the process was easy and fast. I love that he washed his hands and then put on gloves. The entire place was sanitary and comfortable.

I got my septum pierced here a few years ago and dont think I left a review. When I say I felt nothing? I literally felt nothing. I was in and out in 10 mins. Reasonable pricing. I will be returning for my other piercings.

I had my first piercing ever. I decided to get the venom piercing and i have to say that christian was so amazing!! I was anxious and nervous since i had no idea what to expect. Christian was so patient, kind, informative and precise with the piercing! I barely felt it and felt fully safe! When it comes to the place it self it was clean and kept mentained specially the bathroom i appreciate that the most. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience 😊 i will be back when i have to down size!An update since a week ago. The piercing heal wonderfully!! The piercing did not bleed much and with all of the tips om after care i was able to have a good healing process! I had my jewelry switched to a smallwr bar by christian once again and its such a relief to be on smaller jewelry. Thank you so much for the experience!!

Went here on Tuesday with my roommate to get piercings. Very randomly and sporadic. But it was a great experience. I ended up getting a double helix stacked. Pictured below. It was super quick and was just a couple of pinches. I have a pretty high pain tolerance though, so my experience may be different from others. They have great specials on Tuesday and are very affordable and reasonable priced for the quality and professional received. Would highly recommend. My only con would be the parking isn’t the greatest. It sets right off Memorial and has a narrow driveway that you have to back out of into a busy road. Other than that, no issues and would go back again.

Dude was awesome. I came in with a less than stellar helix piercing that had been bothering me. He was very knowledgeable and explained that the previous shop had put costume jewelry in my piercing that was tarnishing and had led to the irritation. He removed the tarnished jewelry and replaced it. I also got a rook piercing while I was there. Ill definitely be going there for all my piercing needs.

Ok, so I have been pierced 4 times here. The first time, I got my septum and one nipple done (my adrenaline went down and I couldn’t go through with the other). The guy was nice and patient, we did have a small dispute because he wanted to “freehand” my septum and I was NOT ok with that. So he used clamps. I appreciated that.The next day I visited to get the other nipple done, was there for a while because of that fear of course but he was very patient. I almost left without it but then said “screw it” last min and got it done. Very patient once again. Loved it, loved it.Now fast forward to about 3 weeks later….I had decided to get a double septum. He looked mad confused which is ok because I hadn’t even known there was a such thing until that same week. (However….as a piercer….I just feel like you should know about ALL types of piercings especially if youve been doing it for YEARS but I digress). So anyway, we get to the back, toss a few jokes but then he wants to “freehand” my septum which remember, I was uncomfortable with before. So he proceeded to tell me that he’s been piercing for YEARS but in my mind, we’re all human and can make mistakes. Almost ANY OTHER piercing you can freehand, but a septum is just too risky, i don’t care how trained you are. He mentioned the clamps go DIRECTLY to the sweet spot, which was my point. So after a small battle, he gets the clamps, and pierced my septum….he puts in the jewelry, raises my head, turns my head side to side….then suddenly the septum pressure is gone….he took it out…he took the ring out….now im leaking blood. So I IMMEDIATELY asked “Did you just take the ring out?” He goes “Yeah, you wasn’t gonna like it anyway. Its in the same spot as the other one.” Then goes “But if I go lower, its going to go into thick skin and its gonna be very painful, I wouldn’t recommend it”. At this point, im I’m in shock. I argue with him about not even giving me the opportunity to SEE whether I liked it or not. He just goes “You wouldn’t have, thats why I like to freehand.” Then he mentions having to go lower…..but you just told me, if you go lower, you’re going to go through thick skin which would be REALLY painful and not a good place to go in…. Anyway, at this point I am EXTREMELY annoyed as im wiping away blood still. He suggests going freehand once again and at first im like “Ok” but my gut was telling me it was a bad idea (Which mind you, I didn’t have this feeling other 3, or shall we say 4 now, times that he pierced me)….so I said “Wait”. He takes his gloves off and tells me to let him know when im ready… 2 mins later he returns…gets ready and I get that gut feeling again. I told him to “Wait” again and he gets upset and says he’s just going to refund me. I said “Ok” and received my refund. Issue is, how are you mad at me after you just pierced me and removed the jewelry? Im wasting your time, I suppose, but to be fair….I sat there and got it done like it was nothing….and then you LITERALLY just pierced me, took it out then began contradicting yourself when it came to the clamps and the piercing location….I don’t know. Like I said, I got other piercings done here and they were fine. Maybe he just didn’t have the patience that day. Whatever the case, Its not fair to pierce someone and decide for yourself that you don’t like it when its not your body….then remove it and be upset with that person for being absolutely terrified after the fact. I dont know.He did refund me as I said, I suppose thats a plus.3 1/2 Stars not just based off the last experience because I also brought jewelry there that ive noticed is turning colors…Take from this what you will because I don’t know if I do or don’t recommend. This was just my experiences…..And that last experience wasn’t it…..

Good morning. I couldnt wait to get on here and share my experience. The best experience , by far, Ive had with Piercers/Tattoo artists. I had a brutally traumatic experience with DeKalb County jail. Multiple officers tased Lee simultaneously and I thought I was going to die. They also verbally and physically abused me to include yanking my nipple rings out. Needless to say Ive suffered significant mental and psychological damage and Im doing my best to recover from the experience. Thats where this shop comes into the picture. A part of the healing process and regaining my self-awareness is to replace what was taken from me. I must mention the bedside manner of Christian made my experience all that more healing. Christian was very professional and understanding of my predicament. The shop is extremely clean. Everyone Ive met has been extremely friendly and knowledgeable. And you just cant beat the prices!!! Its conveniently located right off of memorial drive with access to both I-285 and I-20. On the outside they not look like much but as we all know you cant judge a book by its cover!! Words cant explain how significant this experience was. If youre in need of piercing services there is no other place to go!

Came for a tragus piercings and due to the price decided to get my belly button redone. I have 10 piercings and have never had issues. However, my belly button rejected horribly and my tragus currently has bumps on both sides and is extremely irritated. I have multiple piercings and have never had issues. My tragus was pierced with a gun which should never be done. I have had to remove my belly piercing (the skin around it was being eaten away and looks horrible) and have now removed the tragus. I have scars on both sides of my tragus. Do not go with their basic package. It’s cheap surgical steel with external threading. I needed two pliers to remove the cheap jewelry because in three weeks it rusted shut. Overall, I regret getting pierced here. My tragus is scarred and red. I’m going to have to live with red, lumpy ears and a scar on my bellybutton. I’m so beyond disappointed. I’ve pierced myself better.One star for quick service.

Ive gone here twice and each time the proprietor has been wonderful, personable, and knowledgeable. Shop is clean and they do require masks, which I think is especially important when your skin will have an open wound.I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get a piercing (or several)!

Loved it here! I got a nice piercing from a very experienced and professional piercer. Very clean, sterile surgical rooms. I felt very comfortable working with my piercer. He gave explicit instructions on how to clean and care for my piercing. Dont let the outside fool you. The place looks alot better on the inside. They do not accept credit or debit cards so be sure to bring cash.

Best Piercing technicians!! I get all my piercings done here, they are very professional and I am always pleased with the results. The dude with the dreads and the big earlobe piercing has done all my facial piercings, and I have not ever had any issues. Their prices are the best in Atlanta. I have had cheek, eyebrows,lip nose, and a couple other piercings and he is clean,fast professional, and the pain is minimal if any because he is so quick. I will tell you right now dont waste your money at other places! Go To Knotty Headz they are the Best!!!

Got my first helix piercing by Christian and he was great! Very courteous, informed, and professional. He was able to answer all of my questions about the helix piercing and work with me to find the best spot with my ear shape. Additionally, my friend who also got their ears pierced is extremely needle-phobic, but Christian did a great job of reassuring them and they were very happy with the end result. Overall, highly recommend, great staff and really great prices!

Best prices, good customer service, and professional staff. I got my nose pierced. Pricing starts at 1 for $20 or 2 for $30. I went during a Tuesday special promotion. I think I paid $10 for my piercing, cant recall the exact price. The piercer was quick and practiced good sanitation and hygiene. He gave me tons of advice on how to care for it. I even went back 6 months later due to accident pulling it out during fash washing. I struggled to get it back in. The piercer on duty was super helpful. For $5 he adjusted and reshaped my ring so that it fit better and reinserted it back in the hole. I highly recommend. I love my piercing!

Would HIGHLY recommend! Inside is clean and professional, and the piercings are very affordable. I didnt get anything done today but a friend got their lip repierced and the piercer was very easily and quickly able to re-pierce exactly where my pal wanted! I will DEFINITELY be back for my own piercings and will be recommending Knotty Headz to my friends.The ONLY downside here seems to be limited parking but tbh, its worth the hassle!

Literally so fast and professional. Ive gotten lots of piercings at lots of different shops but this is definitely my new favorite. Love the fact that the tech did not use clamps. Its been hours and I still am not in pain nor do I have swelling. Aftercare instructions were very clear and any questions I asked were answered in depth. Going back ASAP.Also, I was listening in on the tech answering someone elses question about lobe stretching and he gave him a very realistic timeline. Love it!

Clean, quick, and efficient service. I got extra earlobe piercings and it was a great piercing experience. and Christian was helpful and professional. Will definitely go back there for all my future piercings. The only issue is parking as theres a small driveway. Highly recommend!

The piercer was very nice and professional. My navel ring broke prior to coming, the night before. I was told by another shop, it may be closed. But the gentleman inside Knotty Headz was so nice and confident. Within 2 minutes he slid the new navel ring in. Painless and quickly.

After reading reviews I picked Rudy to do my piercings. I walked in nervous as ever Rudy reassured me I would be fine. It was done so fast with a lil pinch I got my nipples done and my tongue re-done. He did a great job thanks😊

I visited Knotty Headz a week ago. I had a great experience here. I believe that the piercers name was Rudy. (He had on a mask, so thats what I heard). He was friendly and had me in and out in no time. I even had a gentleman who had his piercings done before me; Rudy was just that fast and efficient. I had a nose piercing and a second hole re-pierced in my left ear. Id definitely recommend the services here.

Went to this place last weekend with a friend, and first off I was SHOCKED by the number of positive reviews. It smelled DIRTY in here!!! I was expecting this place to be the spot because of the reviews but as soon as I stepped in I knew something was off 100%. Any reputable piercer and even tattoo shop should smell clean, like alcohol even to where you know the piercing you are going to get is sanitary. As soon as you walk in this place it smells like SMOKE!!! Imagine all the smoke residue sitting on equipment and tools!!! Second when telling the man with the face tattoos what piercing I wanted he said “I don’t recommend that to start with. This was highly questionable as to my experience with piercings and what I knew and didn’t know. How can you assume this of someone??? So I confronted him and he said the reason he said that was because he didn’t have the jewelry for it. This was my SECOND RED FLAG! How do you do piercings and have a shop but can’t do a simple ear piercing????? And don’t have the jewelry for it??? The third RED FLAG was when taking out money from the ATM he legit stared at my friend while he did it and just waited and waited till that cash was in his hand… okay weird. And lastly my 4tg and final red flag was the advertised cleaning solution he was selling for $5. Looks like bro legit just makes them in the back to make some profit. No ingredient information, no ounce information, nothing. Just a bottle of whatever. Can’t even guarantee that’s sterile either. BONUS RED FLAG!!! My friend got an ear piercing and the jewelry used was the WRONG TYPE!!! It was the regular ones with a back piece. For any cartilage based piercing you need something longer for space for the ear to swell after piercing!!! So that was another bad sign to NOT GO HERE!!!

It was quick, painless, and the guy was nice.Also if you are thinking about going, they only accept cash and only 2 people in at a time due to covid. I wished I knew that before I went with a group of friends. But overall clean and professional. I’ll definitely come back again.

I know I am a year late but I wanted to share my experience anyway. My girlfriend & I went to get Our lady parts pierced & It was quick a little too quickly. I was asking the guy questions and it it was pretty much rush through it. Anyway I decided to go through with it. Everything seemed fine untill 3 day after I went to the bathroom & it was gone I thought it fall out because it did move a lot. Turns out the Jewel whats coming through the piercing hole & got stuck I was freaking out. I called up be they were already closed I called another shop just to found out that the guy used the wrong size needle. It was a waste of time & money. It took me almost hour to get the ball of the jewel unstuck. It was painful & annoying. The other piercing shop said if I didnt get it out I would have to go to the hospital or it would have got infected.

Had my dimples pierced here and it was a GREAT experience. Atmosphere was very professional and very clean. Piercer was very thorough and he made my experience great. I recommend getting all piercings done here! I will return...

Devon was my piercer. I was nervous about getting the piercing but he talked me through everything and it was over in literally a second. He told me how to clean and care for it was was very nice! I will definitely be coming back to him for more piercing.

I got a face dermal (idk the proper term for it) Surprisingly it was painless! I don’t know the name of the piercer but he was very quick and professional! He gave me all the information I needed to support with the upkeep and healing process. I was in and out in less than 5 mins! Heads up - cash spot they have an ATM in the store though...Anywho, I had been looking at piercing places for the last two days to get a double conch done, called and the guy that answered the phone was super nice, said to just come on in they only take walk-ins. I drove over, parked at the church behind the shop walked right in and was greeted immediately.I showed him picture of what I wanted and he gave me a quick consult on what hed suggest (bar vs ring) - I paid up, was taken to the back to get pierced, he asked how far apart I wanted them, measured and made sure I got to look at it before it was pierced, looked again once he marked the area then had me look again afterward.The shop definitely has covid precautions in place and although Im vaccinated I felt good about the location, cleanliness and the price, good grief you cant get better than their prices!!!Im going to reco this place to some friends and will absolutely come back when I get another piercing or two...

I’m so scared of needles like I HATE needles. However, I wanted to do my belly piercing because I always thought it was cute. i went to knotty headz not knowing what to expect. The guy that did my piercing was so chill and patient with me lol. I was making a big deal when I didn’t have to. The piercing took literally 10 seconds. It’s very clean and I paid 20.00 for the piercing and it comes with a belly ring too which is a really good price. They also have half off on Tuesdays I believe. I highly recommend!! I had my nose pierced oct/2016. It was a great first experience. The guy who pierced my nose (sorry) forgot your name, was pretty decent he made me feel at ease and he was quick. Educated me on care and its now almost 7 months later 5/2017 and I have my 14k solid gold diamond nose stud going strong. Going back to get more work done.

Very professional and explain the process step by step right before piercing my nose. However, I called the day before to ask for pricing for getting my nose pierced. I was told over the phone $20; but when I got there the next day, the guy told me $30. I just didnt argue the price with him; but I feel as though the guy needs to be more detailed on the phone about the pricing when customers call in. Whether the pricing is different based off the nose ring or if its just one set price for getting your nose pierced, he just needs to make sure that the right prices are getting to customers because I probably would not have even waste my gas going there if I knew that he was going to change the price once I got there; but overall I am happy with my piercing.

First time we visited the city and had some time to waste so my wife got me a piercing. Knotty Headz took walk in’s and their prices was in budget. All expectations met! Great customer service and the shop was very clean. Just be aware parking is very limited.

Got my smiley done about 5 days ago and I completely hate it first off they gave me a super small ring that couldn’t even be seen when I was smile nor did he give me the option to choose which jewelry I wanted so, I went ahead and purchased a bigger ring which is still quite hard to see when I smile because the piercer pierced the top of my lip and not the actually smiley so it’s all the way up there. Second the piercer wasn’t friendly at all he just seemed annoyed and had a blank look on his face when I would ask questions and he didn’t even give me any real helpful tips on how to properly care for my piercing he said “just rinse it out with warm salt water, nothing to it.” I had to learn on my own that I couldn’t use alcohol based mouth wash. The experience was quick and it didn’t hurt at all but he didn’t explain that he had put in such a small jewelry in. That’s so annoying because that should be my choice which I didn’t even have. I’m probably going back to a different and more “Professional” shop to get my smiley properly centered and redone because this looks silly and I am not happy with a smiley sitting on the other side of my two front teeth

The owner is a bit old school so, dont forget your ID. The old school mostly refering to the fact that hes not technologically up to date. Everything is old fashion pen/paper. The man even has a flip phone. No issue just a bit of a culture shock. 😅However, not really much of an issue if you remember your ID in the first place.(Side note: He doesnt peirce minors even with parental permission.) Im not a minor Im 23 but, I figured if someone was searching for that answer I might as well provide it.Continuing on..being told to not forget your ID may seem ridiculous but, it happens lol . I didnt do it but, my sister and another young lady did. We ended up going on our own adventure to go to Walgreens so those ladies could get a picture of their IDs. Come to think of it. It was actually a stroke of luck that the young lady had a picture of her ID and I just happened to have a picture of my sisters.Rambling.... anyway. I got the right side of my nose pierced as well as my lower navel piercing. My sister got her lower navel piercing as well as her smiley. As well, as having a consultation on her industrial piercing. The other young lady with us recieved that piercing thats reminiscent of the bull nose hoop. The name of the piercing is completely slipping my mind even though i lnow what it is. Im sure you got it though.Also, the prices are so good. It depends on the piercings, how many and he even offers discounts on certain days!!He handled all 3 of us and our multiple needs. He was quick, efficient, kind and very professional. He even gets extra points for having a tool that measures where to place the piercing. I had personally, never seen it done or seen it used. It was much more comforting then just eye-balling it. Even with that he still asked me if I was comfortable with the placement.That may seem silly and more like a well duh thing but, the practice isnt so common.I enjoyed my experience and also found a new friendship on a little adventure. I have a few more piercings that Im looking forward to so, Ill definitely be returning.

I just moved to GA from Tennessee. I had my nose pierced 3 times at home because I lost my nose ring, which is what I thought was going to happen today but NOPE he was able to get my nose ring back in without piercing it again🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 and he done it so smoothly I didn’t even know he was done. The guy was very nice but I came in to get a repiercing and totally missed my prior location. Therefore made a second hole. I ended up going elsewhere and low behold she pierced through my original location no issues. This was my first time getting pierced with a needle 😖Painful!!!!

Just got my Dahlia Bites done. Its hard to find a piercer who knows how to do them becuz theyre rare but he did a wonderful job and they look absolutely stunning. The process was painless and easy.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO NOT use this place for your piercings! A friend of mine and I went to get piercings earlier this year, within two weeks I had this large bump on my tragus where I got it pierced, I also got my helix pierced and it was at an angle! Who pierces at an angle! I would always tug on it because it would get caught underneath the fold of my ear. I had to remove the tragus piercing and get better quality jewelry installed, because the piercing was done WRONG, I ended up having to let it close! I got it redone by professionals at The Piercing Experience and had to let my helix close and got it redone correctly. The black guy with all of the tatts did it and hes horrible. Id call a couple of times to this place regarding the swelling that never went down and the bump that grew on my ear, theyd always say just put the solution on it and let it crust up and the bump will go away, well that was all LIES, because it never went away until I got it removed by The Piercing Experience. The saying you get what you pay for holds very true! This was a total waste of money and time!My friend got her nose pierced by this same dude and she got a bump on her nose and had to end up letting it close up also.I really wish I could give ZERO stars because if I could, I most certainly would. People, please spend a little more money and go some place that cares and that will pierce properly.I have NO clue as to how they got a 4.6 rating!!!

Today i went and had my nipples done! It was my thrid time getting them done and i have had many piercing. He was fast af!!! MUST I MENTION IT WAS CLEAN!!! i m going back friday just because hes fast. You can tell he knows what hes doing! Thanks Christian!

I got my septum pierced today. It was very sterile but the piercer wasn’t very attentive. The piercer didn’t explain the sterilization or healing process. The septum came out crooked, there was no sanitation process for the area being pierced before or after. I wouldn’t suggest getting a septum here. If you want to get your septum pierced here, dont.

Went and got my nose pierce on Tuesday that Friday my ring started going into my nose went back on Monday he adjusted the ring (basically) redoing it back over and it was still going inside the hole so I got a bigger ring (redoing it over again) 3 times. I will not be returning again.

Super fast and affordable, I would definitely recommend them and they also have a lot of unique jewelry to buy there. Cash only though, but they do have an ATM.

I got my labret done about 2 weeks ago the gentleman that did my piercing was awesome I was a little nervous but he was very professional the place was very clean and he was very educated and took pride in his work it was also very quick I will be going back in the future.

I went and got my piercing on the 19th of December 2016, I just recently did my daily cleaning and made the ring pop out, so I tried to put it back in but for some reason it wouldnt go all the way through, so I went to a piercing place in Albany, GA because I had left Lithonia and the piercer there had problems putting the ring in, not that the whole was closed, because I verified it wasnt by sticking another ring in, but I had to explain to the piercer in Albany that the initial man who did it, pierced it sideways. Meaning my hole on the outside was in a different placement than the one on the inside, it was slanted in a major way, so slanted and incorrect, if I were to wear a hoop ring it will be crooked. So I would not recommend.

I went in , got both nostrils pierced ,and was out in 23 minutes and they healed beautifully

Piercing was done with a thicker needer than the actual piece of jewelry I chose. Both sides of my nose got infected. dude didnt give any type of after care instructions either.

Staff is super kind and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Be mindful that they only take cash but they do have an ATM on site for you if you dont have cash on you.
