We were delighted with the service. The staff was great. Gustavo was great. He took a lot of time to make sure of what my son wanted. It was his first tattoo. My son said he kept asking him if he was OK and making sure he was comfortable. He was very pleased with his tattoo and couldn’t believe that another place wanted to charge him $800 for exactly what he got from Certified Tattoo.

I went into certified tattoos to get a piercing about a week ago from Missy. I had an amazing experience from checking into leaving with my paperwork. Missy is very kind and professional. It’s easy to tell that she takes her work very seriously. She did not rush the placements of my piercings and answered all of my questions. I left feeling very happy and heard.

I recently had the pleasure of getting a tattoo from Bryce, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The design was extra special to me since it was drawn by my sister, and Bryce did an incredible job bringing it to life. From the moment I walked in, his humor and laid-back personality put me at ease, making the whole process comfortable and enjoyable.Bryce’s professionalism really shined through in his technique and line work—every detail was executed with precision, showing just how skilled he is at his craft. This is, without a doubt, the best tattoo I’ve ever gotten. If youre looking for an artist who combines talent with a great sense of humor, Bryce is your guy! I couldn’t ask for a better experience.

Did a walk-in tattoo and it came out amazing. The shop itself was clean and the environment was very welcoming. Justin was very kind and provided excellent service. Gustavo does amazing work and was able to include all the details that I wanted. I’m beyond satisfied with the final design. If you’re looking to get some ink done, I highly recommend this shop.

Came in a little late in the afternoon the guys were very impressive the artist Dwayne did a phenomenal job picked out my design he stenciled it out and went to work. Came out even better than I imagined it would! Thank you certified and thank you Dwayne! Impressive!!!

My sister and BIL were in town and wanted to get some work done so we decided to go to Certified on E Colfax. Camille did a great job on all 3 of us! I actually went back to back days to get another done. While mine were fairly simple, the one my BIL got was a full color piece that she designed for him and it looks amazing. I had the pleasure of booking with Derek LaRose, I was visiting from out of town and saw this studio was highly reviewed and I now know why. From there websites easy to view and see all artists work, to scheduling an appointment over the phone this studio is professional, helpful, and accommodating. And Derek absolutely delivered exactly what I had imagined for my tattoo I could not recommend him or this shop any more!

Max Beachak is incredible. I got a small intricate face too and it looks like a freaking machine did it. Insanely clean. I am over the moon about it.The lightest hands that ever put ink on me. It felt GOOD, almost like a mini massage. Super professional, listens to all my wants and critiques. Max is a freaking GOAT (second skin is on it for healing so picture is a little ‘blurry’) - All around great guy!!

Traveler in transit and stopped in here randomly for a tattoo and Camille was sooo great! She was able to accommodate my request and added her own little spin to it. Very impressed with my tattoo! Definitely recommend going to see her and Certified Tattoo in general. Everyone was super friendly and very clean shop.

Amanda made getting a tattoo so easy and wonderful. She worked with me on exactly what I wanted to add/adjust, and made me feel so comfortable when we moved the tattoo a few times to get the correct placement. I would loveTo get tattooed by her again.

Camille had an attitude throughout the whole session. My sister was in town for only a couple of days and we saw this place had good reviews so we did a walk in. We knew what design we wanted but we needed help tweaking it (making the image the right size and turning it around) . I am not sure why Camille was so annoyed by us, we were kind and just excited to get a matching tattoo together. We should have left but only had an hour to get these done. I would have definitely given them repeat business but now I will not be back. Also, one of the images looked smaller than the other but Camille was angry I wanted her to move the mouse on her tablet so I let it go. It is definitely a little smaller now that it is on my body permanently. Thanks Camille for showing my out of town sister an attitude when we were trying to have a great weekend

It’s my third time going to a Certified location. I went in for a walk in tattoo, Justin at the front desk was very helpful, he got me checked in said it would be a little bit of a wait and told me to come back or offered to call me if I wanted to walk around the block. My artist Camille was very nice, she offered me a few size and design options. She was very lovely to talk to during the actual tattooing process. Always a great experience!

Absolutely amazing time getting tattooed by Kat today. Very light handed and extremely polite. She added her professional twist on the design I had in mind and it completely blew my mind.

Amanda was amazing! I wanted three small tattoos and she did a great job from helping me decide what size fit my body best and placement. Highly recommend!

I came in for my second piece and Luis Nunez did not disappoint. Once again he took my concept and some how made it work beautifully. I will be back for him to finish out my sleeve and I trust him implicitly to create something cohesive and stunning.

We went to Certified for my best friend’s bachelorette party and had a wonderful experience! Amanda was so sweet to us and knocked out all of our tattoos with ease. I got an ankle tattoo that was a cross with flowers and Amanda did a fantastic job with the design.

Not from the Denver area but did a walk in and they were able to get me in right away! Justin was helpful in answering all of my questions. Gustavo was my tattoo artist and he made sure I was comfortable and got the art to match my vision of what I wanted. He was great and friendly to chat with! Laid back environment and friendly! I walked into this place and was immediately greeted and helped. I can’t remember the front desk ladys name but she was so sweet. I was then quickly assisted through agreements and paperwork. After that my piercer, Missy was so welcoming and was also really transparent with me. She let me know exactly what she was going to do before she did it to ensure we were both on the same page. She did an amazing job making sure my piercings would come out even and straight. She was very calm and also had a gentle touch my piercing didn’t even hurt as bad as I thought it would. She made sure I went home with all the proper cleaning intrusions etc. Not to mention all the other piercers/tattoo artists and clients were so sweet to me and made me feel real cute after my piercing. LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Fyi I got my back dermals pierced!

The day of my tattoo appointment I found out that my original artist moved to a different studio and I wasn’t going to be able to drive that far. It was my birthday and I was set on getting my first tattoo as a birthday present for myself so hearing my artist wasn’t there was really disappointing. Luckily Joseph Blacksmith (Drastik) was able to fit me and come up with a design better than I could have imagined. The stress from my less than ideal start to the day completely went away and left me with an amazing tattoo that fulfills every dream and expectation I had for it. My overall experience with Certified Tattoos was amazing, great way to spend my birthday!

I went to Colorado to visit a friend. It was a great girls trip full of adventures. We had talked about wanting to get a tattoo to commemorate our time together. From the first moment we met Gustavo and Justin, they were nothing but nice and welcoming. Justin was great about working with us and making sure we were able to get in. He also made sure we all got to have the same artist.Gustavo was fantastic. He made to check about where each of us wanted our tattoos. He also was able to make adjustments to the tattoo so one of us could it get on our hand. I had the privilege to go first out of our trio. His space was very clean and he took his time making sure to get it ready for me. He got the stencil on and insisted that I go check in the mirror. He was patient as I also asked my friends what they thought of the placement. I was getting it above my left elbow.Gustavo has a gentle hand and he was very focused as he worked. He took his time, even though our tattoos were small and he still had my two friends to do too. His line work is amazing! All of us enjoyed our experience with him so much. I’d definitely recommend him for any tattoo that you plan to get. I’d definitely go back if I’m ever in Denver.

Booked one of the online flash. Was super impressed. Great selection and value for the flash available with options to customize size and color. Shop was super clean.Kat was my artist and she killed it. Super crisp line work and she has THE lightest touch. This was tattoo #12 and it was easily the least painful (got it on my arm below the elbow for reference).Didn’t catch the gentlemen at the front desk’s name, but he was super friendly with me and other customers I observed. Very helpful with scheduling, payment, details, etc.Excited to schedule a bigger piece with Kat!

Just got my septum piercing done by Missy after having her do my ears about a month prior! Couldn’t have been more happy with her work! Very personable, and professional! The placement of both my septum and ears look and feel amazing!

Went to this shop for the first time with my aunt, for her first tattoo and my seventh. Camille was amazing. She was very patient, had a great sense of humor and did amazing work. Highly recommend visiting this spot and asking for her!

This was hands down the best tattoo experience I’ve had from start to finish! The scheduling and consult experience was so organized, timely, and efficient - I almost didn’t believe it could be a legit tattoo place because I’ve never had such an easy and professional scheduling experience like that. Justin greeted us and was so welcoming. Kat was my artist and did three of my tattoos (all drawings by my son) and even made time for a last minute fourth. She was so awesome to work with - kind, patient, funny, super talented and genuinely seemed to be excited for me and how my tattoos turned out. I would absolutely recommend and 100% will come back when I’m back in Denver (visiting from out of state). Worth every penny and such a fun experience-thank you!!

So happy with my tattoo experience and highly recommend working with Amanda at the East Colfax location! Not only did she do such an amazing job finishing my leg sleeve, she made me feel so comfortable during the process by communicating with me every step of the way while also having a lot of fun throughout. She put a lot of time and effort into bringing the sloth/jungle/leaves to life and covered up a previous tattoo as well. I would definitely get more tattoos with her and am so glad it worked out as I have been wanting to finish this piece for some time. Big thank you to Amanda and Certified!!!

Great experience being from out of town! Very friendly and welcoming staff and talented artists. Louis was super helpful and was able to get 3 of us scheduled as walks ins right away. Walter did all three tattoos and did an amazing job. Now we can take the mountains with us wherever we go. Highly recommend.

My sisters and I were in from out of town and scheduled/paid for our appointments online. We accidentally scheduled the wrong date, but they were kind enough to get us in same day (even on a busy Friday the 13th!). The artist was wonderful and even walked my sister through his process because she said she was interested in learning. All 3 of us love our tattoos thank you!

Fabulous experience with the East Colfax location, specifically Walter the tattoo artist and Dustin at the front of the house. I was visiting in town, needed a memorial tattoo, looked for locally top rated shops that took walk-ins, and headed over. Once there, Dustin let me know that it would probably be a couple hours, but as luck would have it, Walter was just finishing up a piece and had time to take me before an appointment. Walter was very professional, walked me through every step of the process, was up front about cost ($400 for about 3 hrs including design and placement), and was an excellent conversationalist. I could not have asked for a better experience for a memorial tattoo, let alone a better experience for my first ever tattoo. The other artists there that day seemed about on par with Walter, as did Dustin. Totally, totally recommend.

Mike Lee was such a great Tattoo artist!very personable and skilled at what he does. He’s good at making you feel comfortable throughout the whole tattoo experience and is keen on doing a good job!

I got my nose pierced recently by Missy and I have never felt more comfortable with an artist. Missy was very transparent about the process and was so, so kind. I am nervous/terrible with needles and they hid them from me so I would not have to see them as we got ready. Care instructions were very clear and communicated well. The whole process was great because of them and I would 100/100 recommend.

Camille is a an amazing tattoo artist and took an idea I had and made it better than I could have imagined. She really takes her time and pays attention to detail. So in love with my new tattoo! Thank u certified ❤️

My friends and I were in town for a very meaningful event. We saw Certified while getting coffees across the street and decided on a whim to get matching tattoos in honor of the event. We were warmly welcomed by Luis and assured we could be in and out quickly. Kat absolutely nailed the design and was quick and professional. It was the easiest tattoo Ive ever gotten, and if I lived closer Id be back in a heartbeat.

I went not too long ago to get a tattoo with my friend since we wanted some sort of rat design with stars. I drew up 2 designs and Luis really helped me make my tattoo come to life despite me having a hard time choosing a design. But, I am so in love with it and it only took 15 minutes! Thanks again!

My wife and I both went in as walk-ins not knowing what to expect. These were our first tattoos. Our artist was Cody Erlich (@killa_cody_tattoo - check out his work!) and he was absolutely amazing!My wife did a simple script that she designed herself, and I did one that was much more custom. Cody spent over 2 hours working with me to tweak the design until it was exactly what I wanted. His line work is great - steady and accurate. But it’s the shading and coloring where he really shines. This man’s work is amazing! Not only will I be getting more tattoos from Cody, but I will never get a tattoo from anyone else!!

Amanda has done a few tattoos for my daughters and I. She has a very good energy about her and is truly amazing. She is very talented in her work. Shes our go to girl from now on!

Kat was great! My daughter, granddaughter and I got matching tattoos. Kat did a wonderful job. She has an enjoyable personality. If there was 10 stars she would get all 10. Definitely recommended!

Worked with Kat on a simple mountaineering ice axe tattoo. However with simplicity wanted bold black and clean lines and got that. Very happy with work. She’s professional and the shop is clean and everyone is cool. Recommend fully.

I went and got a tattoo on my forearm a couple days ago with Luis Nunez. I was scheduled for a design consultation the day before and he was able to create a really great one within the hour that we spent there. He made sure I was getting exactly what I wanted and made some really good suggestions. The session itself didn’t take as long as I was expecting, which is always a plus, and the end result was 1000 times better than I first imagined this tattoo would be when I was just considering getting it! I would definitely recommend this place, everyone is very professional and great at what they do!

I was tattooed by Luis for my fifth tattoo yesterday. Went into the shop and was immediately greeted by him. He was already prepared with the stencils and was able to make changes to it on the fly. Luis has been the nicest and most chill person I have gotten a tattoo from yet. Super easy to talk to and made me feel extremely comfortable the whole time. During the tattoo he had Netflix on the TV and was laughing with me as it went. He made sure I got the tattoo I wanted and it ended up coming out amazing. He was fast and gentle and made sure multiple times that I was doing alright. If you’re going to get any tattoo with black white and grey then Luis is the man to go to! Will definitely be coming back. Thank you Luis.

This was my 3rd experience with Certified I’ve always been pleased but I have to say this was the best experience I’ve had with them. I had an appointment with Amanda D. and she did an excellent job with my tattoo. She took her time and had extremely great detail with her work! She was good company and seems to be very excited about doing my tattoo. I have always recommended certified, but I will be sure to recommend her specifically!

Luis Nunez did my tattoo for my son and did an amazing job at bringing my vision to life! He made sure I was comfortable the whole time and was very professional. I came to Missy for a nose piercing last week and she was great! She was really knowledgeable and suggested a different placement than Ive had in the past to avoid scar tissue and to make the healing process better. Thanks to her suggestion, it has been healing so well and I am so happy with it. If youre looking to get a piercing, they have easy scheduling, good jewelry selection, and really reasonable pricing here!

Got a flash tattoo appointment for this columbine flower. They had to change the date of my appointment but were really great about letting me know and working with me to find a new time. The place was empty and quiet and I didnt have to wait long or anything. Tattoo artist was super friendly and did a great job on the tattoo!

I have to admit I get really nervous trying a new tattoo place but I have heard nothing but amazing things about Certified and it definitely lived up to the hype. I had been wanting a snake tattoo for almost a year now but was hesitant because I wanted it to be perfect and wow, Camille completely killed it. I absolutely love my snake and have received so many compliments on it since having it this past week. The overall atmosphere of the shop was really great vibes - everyone was genuinely cool. I can’t wait to go back for another soon!

Kat was our artist and I cant recommend Kat enough. This was my first tattoo and I was full of nerves but Kat put me right at ease. The tattoo is perfect and I love it. She thoroughly explained all the aftercare steps and it looks so good. Im so thankful to Kat and Luis for making my first tattoo experience a solid one.

I had a consultation yesterday at Certified Tattoo Studios. I was greeted by the staff, it was a great first impression. Mario the shop manager was nice and helpful. My consultation was with Hector. Hector is nice, easy to talk to and made the consultation easy. Due to a schedule change I was able to get tattooed by Hector the same day! Hector is clean, professional and very meticulous about his craft. He is a talented artist and will do great things! He made my memorial tattoo come to life and I am beyond grateful and happy with my tattoo!

Got my first tattoo today and it was absolutely perfect. I was really nervous at first but Alex who did my tattoo was really nice and explained the process and checked in on me the whole time, and Zane who helped me get settled in for my appointment was just really nice and cool. Overall it was a great experience, everyone there is really chill and Ill be back for all my other ones.

This was my first tattoo and Gustavo was honestly excellent. I was nervous as all hell, but he was kind and approchable! Plus I got an amazing tattoo out of it.

Made us pay for the tattoo in full in advance, which was no problem, but then the artist either quit or was let go and they refuse to refund the difference or finish the work. They requested we pay more! to have it finished so now we are stuck with a half tattoo. We paid for the “premium” artist price as well. They also didn’t call us to let us know the artist had left and claimed they didn’t have our number even though they had called us several times for scheduling and so forth. Absolutely outrageous to not honor the original payment or make any attempt at a customer service. *** Update*** they reached out and are trying to find an artist to volunteer to finish the remaining few hours. After many back and forth calls they finally found someone. We are grateful they are making it right.

He met all my expectations with my realism tattoo. I definitely will come back for other tattoos and I will be sending more people his way. 10/10.

Went in as a walk in for a tattoo and the service was so great. Everyone is super kind and attentive. Kat did an amazing job and gave me exactly what I wanted. She took her time creating the design and gave me multiple options to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and that I loved it. Cody did absolutely amazing!! Went in for a typical Creation of Adam tattoo and walked out with a one of a kind, personable piece. He ended up sketching out one hand and one skeleton hand with flowers around both. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming, 100% will be back some day!!!

Amanda was awesome! This was my first tattoo and she helped me feel very at ease and is super super talented! I had a design I liked and provided some reference photos and she did an amazing job making it look how I wanted and taking my thoughts into account! Highly recommend Amanda!I did have a lot of issues getting a consultation though; it took three tries until I could get someone from the booking team to actually call me at the scheduled time. I honestly would have given up after the first and definitely the second, but I had seen Amandas art on Instagram and she was worth it!Also appreciate how easy it was to re-schedule -- I got COVID just in time for my tattoo appointment and they happily pushed it out a few weeks.

Autumn did my tattoo and she was amazing, I sent in inspiration pictures and she did a great job of drawing up something right in line with what I was thinking, and then made a few small adjustments when I showed up. My tattoo turned out amazing, and she did such a great job with both the fine like work and shading in grey scale. Autumn also was really nice and talked me through every step which was a welcome change from some artists who are just silent. Super happy to have found her!!

A friend of mine actually recommended Cody and I’m so glad he did! Cody made me feel instantly comfortable and at ease (especially for my first tattoo). I definitely recommend letting him have creative freedom for designs! I’m definitely coming back to him for other tattoos :)

Ruben did a great job on a walk in appointment. He was able to take my vague idea and draw up a cool tat. Hes light handed, detailed and thorough. Edit: I went to get pierced twice in one day for my birthday today and Gretchen made it the best experience ever! She was so clean and organized, explained the process and after care completely, and was extremely kind and professional! Got a Friday the 13th flash tattoo here. Showed up early and got into my appointment on time. My tattoo artist called the wrong name when looking for me. Sat on a bench that was not wrapped and did not receive any advice on after care. On the upside, I have a cool tattoo that took less than 10 minutes, unfortunately it was smaller than what I paid for. I bought a 2x2 inch flash and got a 1x1 inch. I am just sad that my artist didn’t seem to care if I ever came back. Wish I could give her name but she never introduced herself either. Overall I don’t plan to return to this studio due to the lack of customer service. I’m happy I don’t regret the artwork though.

Amanda Davis absolutely CRUSHED my Phoenix tattoo. She took an idea and made it her own and I couldn’t be happier with her edits on the tattoo ideas I brought to her. It turned out better than I could have ever hoped and I would recommend her to ANYONE! Will be coming back to her for my next for sure!

A while ago my husband and I came into the shop because we were referred by a friend. When we got there we got paired up with Bryson. We wanted to get two small tattoos just to give it a try before we committed to bigger ones. Both of our tattoos after a month and a half have faded to where it looks like we got them years ago. Also got ghosted from this artist that my husband was going to use. Very unhappy with being ignored and the fading of our smaller tats.

Best experience I’ve had getting a Tattoo. From the beginning Justin at the front desk was great. Very friendly and welcoming. My Tattoo artist Luis fantastic. He exceeded my expectations with his work and put so much care into the process. The result was beautiful. Not only was he extremely talented with the Ink but was one of the coolest dudes I’ve met in my time in Colorado. He made a long day of getting a large piece done go by fast. Great guy and great artist and I couldn’t recommend him more for a realism style tattoo!

Thanks to Walter and Big Rev Tattoos working out of Certified for great work on my new forearm tattoo. I came in with a clear design, but Walter was able to offer great technical advice about how to amend the design to make it both look and age best. Really appreciated his expertise, artistry and Im very happy with the result. Overall, including the consultation and scheduling, I was very impressed with Certified. It was expensive, but I think they deliver on that premium cost and if you are going to have it for life, you shouldnt skimp.

Cody was amazing. I am from Kansas City and had breakfast with friends across the street. My friend and I were a walk-in, spur of the moment, matching friend tattoos. I had a flight to catch, so we werent sure if there would be time. They got us back and Cody did are wrist tattoos for us! Everyone in the shop was extremely friendly and helpful. My daughter and I got matching Tatoos from T Henry. She was selected based on her reviews for fine lines. The initial tatoos were beautiful. We were told that we can have touch ups, if needed for no charge. I’m from sacramento, my daughter is attending a university in Colorado. Both our tatoos faded a bit after close to a year. So we scheduled an appointment a year later for a touch up. T Henry did do a touch up on our initial tatoos , but she thought that we had been in three months earlier, her touch up was very heavy in lines and much darker. I got the impression that she was irritated that we were there. I am unhappy with outcome. And would not recommend her.

My husband, my cousin, and I were visiting Denver and we wanted tattoos before we left. I called Certified Tattoo Studio and spoke with Tati and she booked us with Mr. David. When arriving to the place everyone was so friendly and pleasant. Check in was so smooth. Mr. David came out and greet us and took us backed to his station. Mr. David was respectful friendly and down to earth. When he tattoo, his has a very light hand and is gentle. He did an amazing job on all 3 of our tattoos. I will be definitely back to see him for my tattoo.

My husband and I had gotten matching tattoos from the Certified on Yale a few years ago and had a great experience. We were hoping our experience with the Certified Tattoo on E Colfax would be just as good, but unfortunately it was incredibly disappointing.My husband and I both have several tattoos, so this definitely isn’t our first experience. We are aware that different shops and different artists have different pricing. Walking into Certified on E Colfax, with the pictures of the tattoos we were wanting, we were greeted by one of the tattoo artists, Walter. My husband wanted a small tattoo (about 3 inches on his wrist). I wanted a slightly larger simplistic tattoo with a floral stem and small wording. To start with, Walter took one look at my idea and immediately tried to send me to another shop, claiming that he didn’t really have the colors to make this tattoo happen because he specializes in black and white but that he could do the flower, just not so much the stem. I said that was fine but also told him that I understood and was fine but informed him that I was really flexible with color and would be okay with using the black for the stem instead of green. He gave me the name of the artist he recommended who specialized more in what I was looking for. He said he couldn’t quote for her, but it would likely be around $300-350 because that’s what he thought was a fair price for this tattoo. While I went to research the artist he recommended he continued to speak with my husband. He ended up quoting my husband $500+ for his 3” tattoo. When my husband told him he’d rather wait until I can get mine done at the same time, Walter suddenly decided he was interested in doing my tattoo as well, but then quoted me $500 for my tattoo. I’m baffled as to how this was originally a $300-350 tattoo when I wanted it with color, but when I was willing to be flexible with using only the black ink instead of color (to accommodate the artist), the price shot up $200.This is the smallest tattoo I’ve had and I’ve never paid anywhere near that and I’ve had some amazing work done. I am well aware that artists and their skill set really do set the price. However, this specific artist only really had examples of street art and not so many tattoos. How can you charge that kind of money when you don’t have the portfolio to back it up? His artwork was great, but it did not show how he does with tattoos specifically. Spray painting is not the same thing as giving someone a tattoo and does not necessarily require the same skills as tattooing on someone’s body. They wanted us to pay half down for a deposit, but reading the other reviews, I’m super glad we didn’t go that route because I would hate to spend that money trying to lock in a date, only to have them cancel or reschedule. The prices are absolutely ridiculous and they don’t seem to be worth what they’re asking. Definitely do your research and don’t only read the 5 star reviews. Read the 1 star reviews, as well the responses the business provides and make an educated decision based on that. Our experience was similar to many of the 1 star reviews. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming to this location. There are plenty of tattoo shops with better customer service, better pricing that provide better experiences. 100% happy we went with another shop.

Had a great tattoo done with Saul - my second. I came in with a rough idea of what I wanted, the style I wanted it in, and the location of the tattoo. We reviewed some style options, worked together to find the right style, and he sketched the design using the rough idea picture I offered. After an hour or so of designing, we found the perfect design and two hours later it was tattooed. After a week of healing now, it looks even better than the original sketching. Great professional work, and Saul was a fun guy to work with. Would strongly recommend the location and artist.

I went to this shop to get my daughters nose pierced, and I love this shop. The building itself is a work of art inside and out. The shop is super clean, and I adore the wide open floor plan. The lady who did my daughters piercing was so nice and a pleasure to work with. She was very well trained and noticed the first signs of my daughter passing out. But thanks to her quick response, we avoided that whole situation. The piercing went very smoothly and was over before we knew it. She answered all of out aftercare questions and even gave us aftercare instructions to take home. I would definitely recommend this shop for a new tattoo or piercing.

I had a conch piercing done by Gretchen and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. We had to work around some scarring from a different piercing and she was great. I left feeling really confident in how to care for it and that it was done will. Really happy with her and would come back again if I lived in the area.

I cant even begin to express how great of an experience I had at the East Colfax Certified Tattoo Studio. The place was clean, had a great atmosphere, and all the staff were welcoming and chill.Alex Suarez friggen rocks, and made my experience that much better with her approach, skill, and positive vibes. She took my ideas and ran with it, drawing a few different versions and talking me through the whole process. I was initially apprehensive about starting on my sleeve after waiting for so long, but she made it easy to pull the trigger. She just finished half of the sleeve (its phenomenal work) and I am 100% coming back to her to get it finished later this year. I cant recommend Alex and this shop enough, and Ill be going back for more than what I have currently planned.

T Henry is THE BEST! She took my vision and turned it into such an amazing piece. I’ve got the most beautiful fine line flower tattoo now. I couldn’t be happier. 100% worth every penny.

I heard about this tattoo shop from a friend and walked in to get a couple hand tattoos. They were able to squeeze me in and Cody was great! Alex Suarez was too notch !!! She was great with the conceptualizing my ideas into an amazing Tattoo. I couldn’t be happier. The one issue I had was with the booking agent named Chris who was heavily interested in overcharging for the piece. I literally had no interaction with him other than he was quoting the piece for an artist I hadn’t even spoken with. He was trying to charge 1800$ prior to my conciliation which seems like enough for a tap out session. My tattoo took 5 1/2 hours that is basically 350$/hr. I would recommend avoiding him and getting a fair priced consultation. He receives 1 star as I never had any interaction other than him trying to overcharge me. I worked with Resa for my first ever tattoo. She did such an amazing job, I am so grateful for her. I was a total novice when I walked in for my appointment and she walked me through everything. I had a great time and loved getting to chat with her as well. I am so thankful for how beautiful my tattoo turned out. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you, Resa!As for Certified as a whole, they were all so inviting and kind. The shop’s atmosphere really helped to calm my nerves. I was so anxious at first but I am so glad I chose to go to them. If I ever do get another tattoo, I will definitely find my way back to them!

We went to the East and West Colfax locations trying to find a walk-in availability. The East side location couldnt help us right away but sent us to the West location, where we were able to get in almost immediately. Both locations were very nice, clean, and helpful.Autumn, an apprentice, got us taken care of within an hour and was absolutely amazing.Definitely my go-to if I want something done on a Denver trip again!

Walked in today and Kat was able to bang out a killer flash piece before her appointment. Friendly, personable, and cool artist, will return on future CO visits for sure!

Got a tattoo done with Luis on the back of my calf. He did an amazing job, and his artwork really blew me away! He was very patient and understanding anytime I needed a break (back of the calf hurts like a B**** and I dont do pain well lol) and managed to go relatively fast without sacrificing the quality of the work. Very clean interior and super friendly staff. 10/10 will definitely be going back for my next couple tattoos!!!

Luis N did a fantastic job on my tattoo. It is a fine line design and has healed perfect. I got it done in July 2022 and I’m leaving a review in March 2023 and it still looks perfect. I’m very happy with his work!!

Showed up for a walk-in tattoo on a Sunday afternoon and they couldnt have been more kind and accommodating! I got super lucky and Camille happened to be available. She was great! Super talented and she absolutely killed the artwork! Cant wait to go back and finish up the shading and color work. Everybody from the front to the back was super kind and friendly. I got a tattoo from Alex S at East colfax, and it was a 10/10 experience. She is SO talented and precise, she is amazing to talk to and so accommodating. her work is incredible, I got one tattoo that took up half my arm and one the size of a quarter, both had the most insane detail. She takes so much pride in her work and has has great stories to tell. Anyone would be lucky to sit in her chair. I’ll definitely be back for more! Thank you Alex.

Luis and Joey were amazing!! Joey made us feel right at home upon entering; I immediately felt comfortable. Luis was super flexible, accommodating, and a very sweet human being! I have many tattoos but had never gotten such thin line work done before, especially for script. The whole process was incredibly quick, easy, and hygienic. I would 100% go back in a heartbeat. My tattoo artist, Amanda was amazing!! Not only was she professional but she’s personable. The love of my life passed and I wanted to get a tattoo in his handwriting. Amanda worked her butt off to ensure it was perfect. Copying someone’s handwriting isn’t easy, but she made it seem like it was. I am very thankful that someone so down to earth and talented was able to do such a special piece for me. Thank you Amanda. I will be back!!

Walked in for my first tattoo and they were very friendly and welcoming. Eve was extremely patient as I worked on my design and talked me through the whole process. Would definitely come back if I ever decide to get another one.

This is an amazing tattoo shop. I am not from Colorado but travel her frequently and have been searching forever to find the right tattoo spot and Certified Tattoo is the spot. I felt comfortable from the minute I met Luis. He was friendly funny and I felt like I had known him forever! Lol. His work is absolutely amazing. I was excited for the first tattoo I got but the tattoo got today tops any experience I have had. Thank you Certified Tattoo for setting me up with Luis- and major props to Luis for the amazing work. I had such an amazing experience here for my first tattoo a couple weeks ago. Hector did my tattoo and he was awesome. I wasnt set on the design in the inspiration picture that I had but he was able to turn it into something that I loved! It turned out even better than I could have expected. Hector always made sure that I was comfortable and doing okay. Loved the shop and the environment! Definitely would recommend coming here!

Cody was PHENOMENAL! He not only did an amazing job with my new flash tattoos, but he also saw that a few of my previously done flash were a little off so he evened out the lines and added a little bit of shading- made ALL the difference!
